They clearly dont care.Three years ago I asked Akland to give me a quote on designing and installing a new irrigation system for my yard. After three rounds of asking and not getting a reply, I gave up.Yesterday (Thurs) morning I woke up to no water. Our well pump controller, which services three homes, is dead. Akland installed the system in the early 90s, so I called them for the emergency service. At 10:30am I was told that there were 4 no water work orders ahead of mine and they might get out to my property that evening if everything went well. They didnt show up, which wasnt entirely unexpected, but when I called back this morning they told me there were 30 no water work orders they were dealing with. When I asked how many were ahead of us, they told me there were 6 or 7 ahead of us and they definitely wouldnt get a tech out to us today. When I mentioned that I was told about 21 hours prior that there were only four ahead of us, they simply stated We deal with these in order. I said OK and hung up the phone, and theyll never get my business again. They clearly dont want it anyway.

Bob was awesome. A real Allstars. After the horrid experience with Shanes diversified pump, Bob from Akland pump came out and had the water back on in a few hours. I cant thank you guys enough for the great service and for having a great worker like Bob. Extra points and recognition for Bob.

It was ridiculous how long it took for this company to wake-up, show-up, and/or man-up. Thirteen weeks from the initial three calls to their company. What they claimed they fixed, broke within 2 weeks. Service was merely lip-service only.

Had an excellent experience with Akland! Our pump broke and they came to check it out the same day even though they were booked out. Ezra, in particular, got the job done within a day even though it was a huge project. Very happy with my experience with Akland, would highly recommend (ask for Ezra)!

Very disapointed in the service. Had a pipe break under the house. Had 1.5 ft of water to pump out. Called the after hour service and was assured soneone would be out first thing in the morning. No body showed. We called to find out when to expect someone. We were told the technician would call before coming. Waited until 2pm, called again. Told them I needed water restored for my livestock. Was informed the technician would come out immediately. 4pm, nobody called, nobody showed up. Guess we are just not important enough for the company.

Selling a home in Yakima from Oregon and needed a well inspection and water test for the sale. I was able to book the appointment, get a call the day of service and get an invoice and inspection report via email the day after service. I called them for a broken pipe and the last company that had repaired it werent available. Ackland came out the same day and repaired part of the issue. They returned the next morning and completed the job. Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. Im very pleased with their service

Always have what I need to maintain, fix or repair my yard plumbing or house plumbing projects. I have shopped for pressure tanks, sprinklers, pipe, fittings, glue etc.While expensive, I have had them come out to work on the well a couple of times when it was beyond my capabilities.

They have lots of parts, but the service is less awesome and they have high prices.

I moved to the area 3 years ago. Over that time I have went into their store to get information and availability on certain products. Each time I felt like I had to break out the crayons and that I was talking to an uneducated idiot. They do not know diddly squat about the things they should know. I am surprised they are in business. I will not make the mistake of seeking out their services in the future.

If youre thinking about using these guys then consider this. I called them on 4/30/2018 at 8:56AM. I believe a receptionist answered, not sure, she didnt give me her name, only announced the company name and asked how may I help you. I explained I was wanting some work done on my existing irrigation system, she transferred my call. I was on hold 6 and 1/2 minutes, the call finally went back to her. She apologized, said everyone was busy and she could put me through to voicemail, but she didnt recommend that and it would be better if I called back. I thanked her for the information and opted to call back (I know and can appreciate what a busy day is like). So I called back 9:39AM, was transferred again, sat on hold until 9:45 when the call went back to the receptionist. I asked if there was a better time to call, like if they had a slow time of the day, after lunch or a particular day of the week that might be better to call? I was told no, theyre always very busy. I joked if theyre that busy, maybe I should start an irrigation business because it sounds like that is the job to have around here. To this she laughed and joked back better yet, you could come work with us and help us out. That was a great response on her part. I was offered again if I wanted to leave a message, I opted to call back. I called again at 10:35. By this third call I have somewhat of a repore with whoever was answering the phone and she transferred me to sales, where a Jack answered the phone. I explained to Jack what I was looking for. Jack sounded like someone who had been defeated. He was by no means enthusiastic and I believe was being a bit discouraging, saying they were already 2 weeks out, we cant even hope to help you until then. He did not offer another person or company to call, just kept repeating that we cant help you for at least 2 weeks to which I told him that was OK. I can get by with what I have now as I want to improve on it... in other words... I want to give you my money, in exchange for your services. We had basically worked out an agreement, they would get to me in two weeks and I would pay them for their services. I asked would anyone be calling me back to arrange this all and I was told a Gentleman named Paul would call me back once he got caught up with the workload currently being processed. Jack estimated I would get the call the next day. I waited 4 weeks and you guessed it, not a single call. Im not even mad, Im a patient person and was really wanting to work with these guys. Yet I have no call, No Voice message, no missed calls, nothing. Not sure what happened but I know their service does not hold up to the promises you hear. If you need the types of services Akland Pump& Irrigation offers, youre in trouble if you rely on them.

Horrible service. A lady rudely answered and put me on hold. I Waited about 20 mins. Then called back and she did the same thing. After waiting on hold for about 45 mins. I called colonial lawn and garden they actually had some coustomer service. They took care of me professionally and fast. I wouldnt recommend Akland Pump & irrigation to anyone. I dont remember hearing bad coustomer service in their stupid radio ad.

Worst service around! The tech was 2 hours late, rude and then charged me way more then what was quoted. This place has went to hell since the owner past away.

Everyone was rude. Every single person they put on the phone. Even the lady who answers the phone/doesnt know anything about sprinkler systems.
