They are priced higher, but if youre looking for something in particular, its worth the uptick. AND its always so clean & the staff is always ready to help. The Pharmacy is top notch too.

I went to Tom Thumb to something good out of the deli for supper and they got crappie food. Its like all dried and probably been sett there all day. I ask if I could have something fresh and they no, it was all they had.

Tom Thumb in Wylie Texas is one of the cleanest stores I have ever shopped. They always have great meat selection with great sale pricing. The employees are always helpful with great attitudes.

Lets face it theres bigger food chains surrounding your grocery store but I love the smaller stores less traffic and great deli and great fruit great desserts overall great but today as I was standing in long line a second gentleman opens another register kinda rude felt like a bunch of cattle as he shouts next in line I didnt have a chance to move as a woman on back of me walked quickly to get in line, another person walks in and gets served . He finally looks at me and tells me next I said the gentleman in front of me is next he has been waiting longer ; I believe in my opinion the cashier should of asked the next in line to follow him to get check out instead of not caring who got served first or not:

The elderly man at the fish counter is awesome. He knows he is not speedy but he is very kind and very efficient which are much more important qualities. He thanks everyone for their patience and he is not that much slower than the rude ones Ive encountered elsewhere so I think he is wonderful.

Exceptional Customer service at Speedy Checkout. I was there at 2:30 today and the lady that assisted me was amazing. Wanted to insure i was getting all the benefits by inputting my phone number.

Their bakery makes the best cowboy cookies ever!!!! Staff is very polite and helpful the store is relatively clean.

About what youd expect from a Tom Thumb. When I was there they only had a single register open but it was enough to service customers. No Self checkout though which surprises me as more and more business have already moved towards that model. Facility was clean. It did bother me that the meat cutter or at least the counter help was not wearing s hairnet, he had on a baseball cap but it doesnt completely cover all their hair.

Love the produce and bakery section here. Prices are bit more than I like so thats why I give it 4 stars. I go here anytime I need good fresh produce. Its worth it to me.

I have tried this store 4 times and each time they do not honor the sales price of some meats by saying they are all sold out???? In the morning, day, or evening it doesnt matter what time because at this store its always not there, also the store really needs a good cleaning the area where they cut meat did not look or smell good, manager seems to have knowledge of nothing like everyone runs there own areas as they will feel like I was talking to someone who is not happy with the job at this store well if thats the case then follow your dreams and be happy in other words go out and do that thing that makes you happy so you can make this store a better place for customers to enjoy shopping at as far as pricing they overcharge on everything I priced so we ended up going to Krogers and they do have plenty of meat to meet all the sales over there so I ended up being happy by going to Krogers (I will go to another Tom Thumb to see if thats just standard practice with them or is it just this store)

Very clean convenient grocery store. The store closes at midnight but seafood and meat department close before 10pm.

I shopped at the deli and I must admit the food was good, hot and fresh.

They have really nice bowls of cut up & prepped fruit. But I couldn’t find any other items on my grocery list because the shelves weren’t stocked well & they didn’t seem to have a decent selection. This was in early March, after the winter freeze so hopefully they will stock things back to full capacity soon.

Always good to shop here but one time I went to the hot meal section to order. A mid 30th guy who saved me was either tired or spicy than the food served. He gave me a vibe of... (Dont bother me) he wasnt friendly or professional at all. He act as if I was getting free food so I should be thankful than I was... He kind looked me down and thats it. I havent ordered anything from that area since! I go in avoid his location and thats all. I saw him twice there! No more hit meal for me!

Huge store, lots of room. Not enough variety of products. Its not that they are out of things, they just dont carry them. The produce section has plenty of floor space and no shelfs/racks for produce. The meat section is small. Based on the organization of the store, it seems like this is not pandemic or winter storm related.

Pay attention to coupons and online points for free stuff!

I was there to pick up Rxs for my niece. Had no problems and staff was friendly.

The place is clean and the service is good. The cashier was aware of and knew what tap-to-pay was, that is a benefit to me.It wasnt too busy so i liked that too.

The cake decorator, Lily, was awesome! She was very patient with me while trying to decide what to do for my grandsons first birthday cake, and she had good ideas based on the pictures I brought. I know itll turn out great.

The best grocery store and pharmacy in the area! Pharmacy techs and pharmacists are timely, efficient, take the time to speak with you and answer questions, plus have flu shots, shingles shots, and offer some sick diagnoses. The store is clean, fresh meat/fish/prepared meals are phenomenal! Store associates are friendly and plenty around to tell you what aisle products are on. Far better than the three crowded Walmarts all within 5 miles of Tom Thumb and better than Firewheel. Kroger by Fitewh

I go here for the Butcher. The groceries are too expensive, but the meat is much better than the garbage they serve at Walmart. The Butcher actually knows what hes doing too, unlike the ones at Walmart that dont realize they work in the Butcher section.

Tom Thumb is becoming the better choice to shop in Wylie. The other store may have more selections normally it is far more crowded and pickings become slim. Tom Thumb feels more small town with the big town selections.

I shattered my leg a while back, and am from out of town now; but there was a good looking worker whom seemed genuinely interested in what happened to it for I was in a boot. When my dad was sending my knee device back to the car, so in could use their motorized wheel chairs; I discover the one I chose was not fully charged- and another worker sat with me for a good 10 minutes searching for one that was in proper use for my purchasing needs.

I have been to this Tom Thumb 2 weeks in a row because of their mailing advertising. This week was the last I will go. They advertised boneless chicken breast for 97 cents a pound. Great deal right? Well just like the deal that I chased last week they dont have it and they refuse to give a rain check. Its a scam and they blame it on covid that they dont have any. Well its called bait and switch if you dont have any. So they took the chicken they did have and hand trimmed it. Some dude working for $10 an hour trimmed it all and now that chicken is magically worth DOUBLE.

Tom Thumb has excellent products. It is up to you to decide if it is worth the cost difference.

Very nice people. They have workers designated as Sanitation Crew. They have routines to sanitize certain areas on a schedule. The highlight of our trip here is the Pharmacy. Rick, Darla, Dawn and Carmen are great. They make us laugh but are serious about filling our meds.

This Tom Thumb is pretty awesome. They have a good variety of specialty products that I cant find elsewhere.My only complaint is that they dont have a good selection of baked goods in their bakery when I compare it to their Rowlett location.

Friday lunchtime prior to winter storm they had 1 person checking out shoppers in the express lanes, no self checkout and 2 regular lines open. Left my cart after waiting 5 mins in express line when only 1 person was checked out. Will never be back. Kroger is one mile away and has 20 self checkout lanes on top of regular lanes with at least 4 checkers at any time. Tom Thumb has gone downhill since selling out.

Its a good place to shop for a few things. You have to check out there queso. Also they have these tortilla chips they make in the store that are super good and a must buy! Pop those babies in the microwave in a plastic bowl for 20 seconds and have your cheese ready. Its so good!

Nice sale items. Missing a few of my regular items but lets discount that to covid. BAD covid policy though. Haveing to enter and exit at same door FORCES you to rub elbows when entering and exiting. Still selling the yummy soups but only two? Either its safe or it isnt... cutting selection in half doesnt do anything, but they have a because of Covid sign up any way. At least you can still lick the produce to see if its fresh/ripe.

Found everything I needed and more. The 5 stars is for the young man that checked me out. Very professional when he asked me if I found everything, yet, took time to talk to me about how I was, how my day was going, etc. Great conversation! Friendly, thoughtful, beautiful SMILE! Clean, close to home, convenient. Its a bit pricey, but great if you only need a few items. Much easier than a trip to Wal-Mart.

Its a beautiful store. The selection is good. The alcohol area is great. The produce is good and so is the deli. The service is alright and it has a Starbucks inside with lots of seating. But the prices! Im not the cheapest person on earth...but these prices on basic, staple items are too high for me to justify doing our weekly shopping there.
