I was never able to get signed-up for lessons despite using their online platform and calling several times. There seems to be a disconnect between the administrators and the teachers that makes this place dysfunctional.Edit: See the response from the owner below. True, I was informed that the admins have spoken to the piano teachers (only after I call them to ask about the delay in response); however, I was never contacted by a piano teacher to setup a lesson. Additionally my schedule wasnt unusual... if I remember correctly I put on the form that I am fully available Monday through Friday.Owner, you already have good reviews here, no need to posture. I hope you learn to use feedback to better your business and yourself.

Recently brought in a Custom Hiwatt 50W amp to have the grill cover replaced, and had the opportunity to meet one of the techs at Union Music, Brian Martin. This guy loves his work! You can see it in his eyes; very personable, easy to talk with and hes laid back, yet excitable about music and instrument repairs.I will just say, that when the work was done, I was extremely happy with the results and how the amp looked! And to note, the gill lining was lined up more evenly than the original lining out of factory!!Hands down, great work Brian!! Absolutely would recommend this tech at Union Music anytime for amp repair.

Union has been the place our family has gone for years for everything from guitars to strings to even kazoos. This year we bought a new Yamaha for our youngest son making it four generations to have the privilege of shopping at Union Music. They may not be as big as some soulless chain store (you know the one) but they are real musicians selling quality to anyone who has a heart to learn. Also they have lessons for all ages but no judgment if you dont know how to do something. Remember small business is best

The store as a whole is great. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, the instrument selection is always changing and well taken care of. However, when Ive had work done on my guitars I was less than impressed. I had a setup done on one guitar that really wasnt up to snuff, and a refretting on another guitar that was sloppy and damaged the guitar. I still shop there for strings and other supplies, but as far as having work done Im looking elsewhere.

Some of the stuff is a little overpriced, but when your only competition is Guitar Center the next town over, its not easy to have similar prices. Its worth supporting a local music shop. Plus, the staff are always nice. Pretty sure the owner works there every day.

A good place to find used/new acoustic guitars, fenders and other brands. But overall limited in inventory.I remember it being better in the past. I like to keep small businesses going so Ill keep going there for services but look elsewhere for new toys

Great local music store! I recently needed a gig bag for my sons electric bass, looked online at Amazon, Sweetwater etc, went to Guitar Center and ended up buying the same gig bag at Union Music that I saw everywhere else and it was $10.00 less than all the other places!

1963 - At age 14, I walked into Union Pawn Shop on Front street.I ask the proprietor, Hey mister, How much is that tiger red Stella guitar in the window?Can you play he asks.A little I reply.He takes it out of the window and hands it to me.Show me.I flip it upside down and plink something out.He says $15 a week until its paid offYou got a job?I got a paper route.Im thrilled to make the very first purchase of my life!As I head out the door, he calls,Hey kid! arent you gonna take your guitar?You cant practice if you dont take it with youI sign a piece of paper and off I go.Been buying my gear there ever since.Carl Camp and crew are the Best thing that ever happened to the musicians of Worcester County!

Gave my guitar a poor setup (buzzing strings, high action). Inventory is small, store has really gone down hill over the years, unfortunately its one of the only stores of its kind in the area.

Crappy run down shop located in the one of MAs W cities that has seen better days.Im sorry that I wasted my time driving from my home base out of state to acquire an item that was said to be available, but wasnt. Specifically, I committed to pay for the item in full up front over the phone to ensure I wouldnt waist if my time, but the folks at Union insisted that they would hold the item & that paying in advance was not necessary. Despite this, they sold the item.When I arrived to pickup the item, a lackadaisical associate slumped behind the counter informed me that the item was no longer available. Furthermore, he admitted that he was supposed to call & let me know the status of the sale, yet neglected to call.The associate subsequently offered to allow me to purchase some other item in the store, since I was there. None of which was vaguely similar to the aforementioned item nor was any discount offered. How kind of him to allow me to purchase an item from his store. Im sure other prospective customers might have been extended such as gracious opportunity.Im sorry that I have to leave a less than desirable review, but Union a music could have provided much better service & I am merely left disappointed with how they handled the whole situation.As I stated, I offered to pay up front & in advance in full, but was assured that was not necessary. Common courtesy & decency is up for debate with regards to Union Musics dealings.
