I should never have to wait 45 minutes to get breakfast. I sat here and watched 14 online orders be made and not one person in the diner had food. The people who come to the establishment should always come first. I have been coming here for 12 years and it breaks my heart that I will not be going back now that owners have changed hands.Update. After 55 minutes and diner orders starting to finally be made I noticed that my order wasnt even on the bored. The owner just says sorry I dont have it . Never offered to even make a simple one person order and justwent about what he was doing. I left without eating.

40 mins wait for a steak and eggs….. Not again! We not even got greeted walking thru the door. 2 minutes later they say sit anywhere! 🤦🏻‍♂️ steak is not what it used to be good luck….

I always get the french toast with bacon. I love it and it is a decent price! The staff at Corner Lunch is extremely friendly. Always nice on the phone and while they are helping you. I appreciate them still being open during this time. Not to mention they are doing great with their response to COVID! I definitely recommend this place!

If you are in a hurry ask far in advance or prepare to waste a lot, a lot of time waiting. If you have a lot of time to lose then good luck.

Great place for a classic breakfast experience

Weve only been there once, but well return! I nervously ordered the Irish Eggs Benedict, having had mixed experiences elsewhere with corned beef hash so salty as to be inedible, but Corner Lunch came through! Really delicious. My husbands meat lovers breakfast was piled high with ham, sausage, and bacon, with potatoes, and two huge and perfectly cooked eggs. Its an old time diner, for sure.

Came here for the first time. The waitress is very nice and easy to talk to. The food was fantastic. Had the Eastern omelet with spicy hash browns. It is hard to meet my spice level but this hit the spot. Was even asked if I wanted hot sauce. Its like she read my mind. Definitely will be going back.

An hour and 15 minutes wait !!?? The guys at the grill are the slowest cook I ever seen, short order cooks should be fast, they move like turtles.

I had breakfast here, and it was great. They had pumpkin pancakes, they were huge, 2 easily stuffed me. Service was excellent and friendly. They have a counter you can sit at as well as booths, so even a larger group could sit together. Its a real diner, so it has the nostalgia factor going. I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

A bit overpriced for the amount of food I was given.The food was pretty bad, BUT the GrubHub delivery driver also took about an hour, so its not the restaurants fault that it was cold and soggy. Definitely willing to give them another try, and if its good, Ill most certainly change my rating.

Staff was super friendly, but waiting 45 minutes for bacon and eggs is a bit much. Take out and delivery orders take priority to customers sitting waiting for their orders. Plus I have a problem cooks were not wearing gloves while cooking.

Way to long to have to wait for pancakes, french toast bagel and homefries. While the food was fine, Employee’s very friendly I feel maybe outside (togo) orders were given priority because I can not think why our food took so long. The place is old and when I first walked in I could smell the oldness in the furniture?.The place seemed clean and for a diner with fine food I would not avoid due to this observation.

The food was like is was soaked on oil. Hash brown were not cook fully and oily...the homedries were burn wit no flavor i just dont get it ... they use to be better

The food is great, and very reasonably-priced. The owner is the cook and his daughter JoJo takes care of the front of the house, and both of them are amazing! Very cozy place! Make sure you try the spicy hash browns they are to die for!!!

The atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy and Staff were very friendly. Might’ve dinned during a rush so our food took a little longer. My sandwich was a little cold and came out after his steak and eggs. Overall a good experience.

The food took a really long time to get to our table and when it got there my steak wasnt cooked the way I asked. They people were nice but the food wasnt what I was expecting. Their wasnt a lot of sitting so the place felt crowded, even if it wasnt.

Typical diner. My burger was burnt and small. The sign said 8 oz but it was like 4-5. I was going to send it back but the waiter seemed slammed and never really checked back with me. So I just forced myself to wolf it down.

Stopped at this diner on a trip form New York to Maine, it is right off 290 which makes it convenient. It is a vintage authentic diner, very cozy and appealing, the menu is simple and the food was delicious, service was great and the coffee was excellent. Will definetly drop by next time we are in the area!

Do not bother ordering delivery from this diner. I had steak, eggs, and potato breakfast meal delivered in a single dish with my toast sitting on the steak. Needless to say everything was soggy, the steak was charred and flavorless. At least the home fries are good but honestly get sectioned plates, its a no brainer.

Placed a to go order and and it took 2 hours for it to be ready. This is a ridiculous wait time for a sandwich and a order. It should not take this long. Then to top it off when trying to call to cancel the to go order could not get through.

I havent been here for about 20 years or so. I have to be honest but the quality was a lot lower than I remember. I had pancakes and they tasted like they were microwaved, and dry. Disappointed.

You would think 2 hours is enough time for breakfast. Apparently the kitchen is more interested in GrubHub online orders than serving the customers in house. An hour and a half after placing our order I asked when to expect our food. The waitress told us it was coming up without any appologies or explanation. It would have been nice to try the food but we had to leave for an appointment.With the lack of consideration from the staff and neglect for their in house patrons I wish zero stars was an option.
