Came here with friends recently! Loved the coffee, loved the big spacious cafe with places to sit. Wish they had vegan pastries to eat and more vegan options, thats the only reason Im giving them less than 5 starts. Its awesome to see they roast coffee on the spot and make their own snacks. Will definitely be back!
Went here this morning for the first time. Ordered a Cappuccino and Avocado toast. Fresh, quality ingredients, whole grain bread, locally sourced. I like that! A little on the expensive side, but thats how it goes if you want quality. The Cappuccino was not great. I like dark roasted coffee, but this was like left in the roaster over the weekend by mistake. Will definitely go back to try the coffee again. Also, I bought some beans and am excited to try those! Again, the food is top-shelf, and the care in which the staff assembles your order is priceless. Well trained, personable, knowledgeable staff. Give these folks a try!
I order a mocha latte 20oz. It’s ok but not very goodBut I like the environment large comfortable
I dont know what was up with them today... Ive been there before and been very happy, only reason Im not putting 1 star. First, the Mac n Cheese tasted like mayonnaise of all things (and Ive enjoyed their Mac n cheese before). The pastries I didnt decide to buy looked messy and still a bit soggy, like they had a new person giving it their best shot. Lastly, and least importantly, my latte was half foam (more of a cappuccino), but whatever. It really just came down to the mayo Mac, I couldnt believe what I was tasting!
The cold brew is amazing, the cappuccino was great. The West Coast was tasty, the environment was clean. Atmosphere was quiet and modern. And the staff were friendly.
Okay for your first walk in it is just screaming cool man! Im not the vegan type but I had a dynamite cucumbers spritzer it was 90° out and that was so thirst quenching I had to have a second refill.... Believe it or not then I had an avocado toasted 🥪 sandwich... Definitely have to go back to right across from the new woo Sox stadium also by St Vincents hospital... Enjoy if you like to steel punk atmosphere. Very trendy very cool
Came here for a quick afternoon coffee date. Atmosphere is pretty nice, it’s a big space and they don’t over-crowd the seating. Limited selection of baked goods - we got a coffee cake muffin warmed up but they accidentally forgot about it, but that’s our only complaint. The muffin was pretty good, just a little over-priced. The place has a cool punk vibe, and there were lots of people chatting, working, reading there.
Food was good, juice was fresh and prices are great!! Manager can be a bit rude at times because he gets frazzled when its busy and becomes rude and aggressive with both employees and customers. His energy can come off as rude and makes you feel like you need to hurry up and get out.
Avocado toast was very good. Almond croissant seemed underdone. Bacon was not crispy at all. Chai latte tasted bland, like just boiling water and milk. Mocha latte had so much chocolate in it that I couldnt even taste the espresso. Was not impressed. **response to owner- Worcester, MA location**
One of my favorites coffee places ..the turkey blt sandwich is sooooo good! Nice staff...tip them well.
Great coffee, local milk, local beer, great customer service, good place to work. Some of the tables give it a cheap takeout feel.
Ive been waiting for Fuel to open up in Worcester. Nice wide open modern design with plenty of seating a vast selection food and drinks. I started out with the bulletproof coffee and moved on to the North Ender sandwich w/ a pour over from Sumatra. Im looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future
Apperantly my last name is excluded from extra sugar & milk.Place is deficient in following foreigners orders, thats 3 times now.
You won’t find a better coffee in Worcester, way better than Fivebucks
No matter the time of day or the day of the week the service is always great. Quality fresh food and drinks too! Thank you for your service.
Good stuff. Good people. Good service. Good music.. decent hand soap in bathroom...99/100...Not too shabby. Rock on.
Very quant and comfortable place for a cup of joe
Clean, spacious, and accomodating. Food is good - fresh, made to order. Staff is polite and helpful.
Great coffee very nice staff
Love this place! Great place to do some art with it being very well lit with high and wide windows. Industrial style decor. Reasonably priced coffees, pastries etcetera. Great staff too!
Their coffee is excellent, really smooth but still full favor/not watery. The insides space was really nice too. Plenty of seating and table space. They also offer beer, wine, and plenty of light lunch/breakfast food options.
We ordered a large cheese pizza. It was large so I will definitely give them a check in the size department. I also enjoyed their unusual interpretation of the shape of a circle, see my photo for details. I ordered the Aussie Bowl with acai sorbet, bananas, kiwi, pineapple, chia seeds, and coconut flakes. The bowl was really delicious.
Awesome service, great staff and quality drinks and food. I do not drink, so I cannot give you a fair opinion on their coffee. However, their tea is awesome and I especially, love their Chai Lattes.
Delicious juice and bacon egg and cheese
Awesome menu- they have local craft beer in addition to unique coffees. The interior decor is tastefully arranged and very cool!
Much better value than your big chain coffee, both in terms of pricing and quality. I wish they got my order right, but the plexiglass and masks make it difficult to order. No big deal, I enjoyed what I got regardless.
Could be cozier.
Great coffee amazing food good atmosphere.
Great coffee and creative sandwich selection in the heart of the bustling downtown Worcester. Loved the brie with fig & pesto spread over a multigrain ciabatta. Cool vibe with a variety of seating. Nice place for coffee, quick bite, or just plain working. It was too late to realize I didn’t take pictures of the food 😅
Aladin like coffee its magical, the pastries are great the staff are friendly and the coffee brew room tour is a cant miss
Came during my lunch break. I’m a nurse. Ordered an açaí bowl and the gentleman ringing me up informed me that I’d some type of first responder or medical personnel discount and applied it to my order. The manager then proceeded to ask “for what!?” and the cashier said “she’s a nurse” and that when the manager stated it’s only for Police, Firefighters, and paramedics etc... I didn’t really hear the list in its entirety but I wasn’t surprised since Nurse’s are always undervalued. So the cashier asked if he could make an exception for me since he had already totaled me up, he was a nice kid. I felt uncomfortable. Anyways, the açaí was frozen when I got it and hard to eat.
Great coffee. Good food. Not wanting coffee or tea? Try their delicious home made seltzers! Somehow manages to have a hug, open space but throws off a cozy vibe. Great seating options. Sit at a small table for 2, 4, at a bar with outlets and coat hooks or huge tables optimal for large work groups. They roast their own beans here.
Very neat and clean atmosphere. Drinks are with good quality.
As said in prior comments, the portions could be bigger. Especially the acai bowls. But the quality is great. Best acai bowl in Worcester belongs to Fuel America. Love this place.
This is a really cool place. It has coffee and beer? They have sandwiches and smaller things like cookies and muffins. They have a huge menu. Theyre all really nice and its a good place to study or hang with friends.
Great coffee shop! The staff is friendly and the place is always clean when I visit. the food and drinks is a bit more expensive than other coffee place, but better quality than a chain coffee shop.
Coffee is better than average, but the space is outstanding! Lots of room to read, have a small meeting, or get work done. Ample amount of outlets to charge devices and a quiet atmosphere with low-level background music. Friendly staff. Overall a great experience!
A coffee shop with beer on tap. House roasted coffee and local brew...awesome
Possibly my new favorite coffee shop for when Im in the area! Ive been a fan of their coffee from the grocery stores for a while now, and I was happy to finally visit their physical location (it just opened not too long ago). Modern, cozy place that has plenty of drink and sandwich options available. Will definitely be returning!
Large, lots of seating and device charging sockets, warm in winter, lattes in nice large cups. Small latte much stronger than Starbucks and perfectly hot. Staff friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
I have made this my everyday morning stop. Such a great place to get some work done. There are electrical outlets everywhere for laptops! Food and service is great. Proud to be a regular now!
Great experience
I adore Fuel America! Great coffee, wonderful pastry choices, and a nice option to enjoy a light lunch. Sandwiches are delicious, salads satisfy. The cafe au lait is mouth watering. Always an enjoyable experience. I need to try their breakfast menu!
Great coffee
I thought the iced decaf I got was brewed too strong, I also bought a bag of the same coffee and thought it tasted way better when I made it at home. Its pretty good, but not 100% what Im looking for, although I could see buying it again. Supposedly Market Basket will be selling the coffee too.The website says they plan on doing a wider variety of types of coffee, but doesnt really say when.It does look like they roast on-site.
Rather expensive. They arent open on sundays and seem to always be sort of empty. However the mint aid is very good
Great little spot. Highly recommend you give it a try! Employees are experienced and very personable! While most of us have worked in the service industry at some points in our lives those that have not may not know that the wonderful people wearing a smile first thing in the morning, before weve found ours, are earning less than $4 an hour and that a .25 cent tip is greatly appreciated.Keep up the good work!
I tried this place for the first time today after good reviews from my colleagues. I had a kale smoothie, avocado toast (on gluten free bread), and the summer salad. The smoothie was delicious! Although the sorbet and apple juice made it quite sweet - I think they could easily cut the sugar content. Also, at $6, it was pretty pricey. I was very happy to find they carry GF bread, and it was good. The avocado on my toast was fresh, but the egg was clearly a frozen yellow circle... even Dunkin Donuts get the eggs that have a white and a yolk...the greens on top were a little overdressed, but overall it was yummy and I felt good about the nutrition. There were no pickled onions, as described. Again, $6 for avo toast? Ill stick to making my own at home, but it was worth a try. The summer salad was very tasty, although they forgot the chicken. Since I got my meal to-go I didnt discover that until I was back at work. The dressing it comes with is very nice, but also quite sweet, and I feel they could cut sugar here too. The pieces of greens were quite big, and not easy to eat gracefully without cutting them down further, but the salad was fresh and tasted good.Overall, this restaurant is quite overpriced - at least as far as food goes, but if youre in a bind and need lunch, or are looking to treat yourself its a good stop. They could make efforts to cut the sugar from things like the smoothies and salad dressings, and make more bowls with greek yogurt rather than sorbet or ice cream, but overall I felt good about what I was eating.
Not a huge fan of their coffee for some reason but a recognize thats personal taste. I love their smoothies and everything else. Great staff.
Portions could definitely be bigger. Tastes good though! Great coffee. Nice atmosphere.
Good quiet place to hang out or work on stuff at. coffee wasn’t too bad and neither was the food. A good little spot for sure!
Terrible, there are flies or maggots or something everywhere that come from the next building over. and if u look up u can see them coming from the ventilation!! so if you like food that had/has flies all over it, enjoy!!
The espresso is to die for and customer service was incredible! Very knowledgeable and kind personnel. Wish we had one in Texas and hope they start selling espresso beans to go!
Mariah was an excellent server. Love this place!
Very good place and excellent service and service oriented staff. Keep it up guys
Iced coffees need more sweetener
Friendly staff, great drinks (had hot chocolate and the fruit smoothies) and yummy muffins. Great option for when staying at the Marriott
Well, I am always in a rush to get to work, and the fact that I have to sign for a credit card receipt for 3.20 cent coffee so I have to fill out the tip/or no tip section and sign, is a sad way to force a tip, also why the tip, I have to put my cream and sugar in myself, and the cream is always empty. The isle to order is narrow and crowded, and the waitresses are nice, but they engage in to much conversation which holds the line up. Today they filled my reg. coffee up 3/4 of the way and said I would have to wait 5 minutes for them to make more coffee, Get it together or there will be a Fuel shortage
I come here weekly to order a drink and study. They have tons of tables (none of which are QUITE level) and many outlets. Their coffee is alright but I prefer their tea more. The food is pretty good though! Theor sandwiches and salads always taste fresh. They definitely have a problem with flies and fruit flies; its probably my biggest gripe. Nonetheless theyre a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Great New coffee shop here in downtown Worcester that has a great interiori and very friendly staff.. We got the juice drinks and the Seltzer drinks.. Lots of places to sit and work and street parking is available along the side of the building.. It can be tough to find a spot but once you do it is worth it.. Havent tried their food yet but will next time I am there.
Second time trying Fuel. This is now my new go to spot for coffee. I havent had the opportunity to try all the different blends or the food but what Ive had is great. Cant wait to try everything they offer.
You have to sign a receipt for a 3.20$ credit card purchase so they can force/obligate tips on you and make you put your own cream and sugar. and the pastries are stale. Theres also many tiny little flies so i have to watch my food like a hawk and eat it in 2 minutes. The lines are always long. Always cleaning my own table off before i sit down. Boo wheres Krispy Kreme?
Cute cafe! Super quiet and more drink selections compared to the average cafe. Prices are good as well.
Fuel has become my favorite coffee spot in the city. Love the environment, the view of the common, and the coffee is good too!
Delicious food, served promptly, even for our large group of 25+ people.
Place is very nice. But they only have one person making all drinks. Took over 20 minutes to make one cappuccino.
Very nice place but the service its not. I order a small cappuccino decaf which only decaf I will not call it.I was awake all night bc they just put regular shoots of coffee. They have to train there workers better.
Not a big fan of the coffee, but they have a nice space
Surprisingly good breakfast sandwich after the normal lunch hour.
Cool place, would love to be there to see the roasting process through the viewing windows
Delicious breakfast sandwich and iced tea, but at $12 its cheaper to get my breakfast in downtown Boston ($4 cheaper!).
I enjoyed the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich on ciabatta. Bread was fresh, nice slices of avocado. Though the .5 ounce bag of chips seemed like a joke. The service was excellent and there was no charge for another half ounce bag of chips ;-)
This is the best place to study and eat food but please clean your restroom and keep some air freshener there!! # Hygiene #Good Health#
Coffee fuel
Never had anything here that wasnt delicious and made fresh
Got good food & more than just coffee. This could be a hoppin place if more knew the food quality.
The food was pretty good, chill atmosphere and nice employees
Awesome coffee great staff friendly and fast service
A rather weird assortment of beer, coffee, smoothies, juices kambucha. My fancy fruity seltzer was ok. Decor is straight Starbucks.
Love it. The prices might be a little steep but overall great place to sit and chat with friends
Nice place to grab a coffee and relax or work on the laptop. A short walk to Union Station, DCU Ctr and St. Vincents Hospital.
Expensive, for coffee. Had cold brew, not the best. The espresso beans (chocolate covered) are pretty awesome.
Liked it, new to area, pastries were fresh and delicious. Coffee fresh and wonderful.
Friendly rude guy attendant...good coffee though
