I brought my 2021 Toyota 4Runner with 5000 miles on it in for a replacement windshield due to a crack from a rock. When I picked up my vehicle, there was a scratch in the dashboard which will likely lead to needing the dashboard replaced, there was dirt and debris left on my dashboard, the molding was installed improperly and the windshield is leaking.Currently I am disputing everything with the store and hopefully they make things right, although I have very little confidence.I should have done my homework and looked at reviews. This will be my first and last time using them. If you care about quality and your vehicle, DO NOT USE SAFELITE!
These guys absolutely rock.I dropped my truck off at the wrong location and the they actually drove it to the proper location and fixed my window all in a matter of hours. They worked around my busy schedule and made it so easy.I highly recommend.
Had my windshield replaced. Windshield looks good but now my sunroof is mysteriously leaking right after they finished the service. I have never had an issue with the sunroof before. Was told it is just a coincidence but thats hard for me to believe.
*WARNING* *Avoid this location at all cost*I went to this location after an insurance job and it was the second time I came back for the issue and it seemed like their intention was to do a poor quality job because I came back for a repair on the original job. They had my car away from cameras during my windshield that they then decided to place their equipment on top of my sunroof scratching it sideways. They left the job all over my car with black reside inside and outside my car. I took pictures of my interior and exterior with material all over my dash and black reside on my steering wheel and mirror. There intent was do cause negligence towards me and my car. They gave me my keys with residue all over and my hands had reside all over. My ads system wasnt working as I left and it gave me a higher chance of a car accident. I drove home in the rain with my ads system going off just being around cars once on the highway. I will be filing a suit against this location as this location is disgusting and unprofessional techs whoses job it is to give poor quality work and damage cars the best way possible. The manager is never there and he will be hearing from me and my lawyer. If you want your car taken car of and have the safelite guarantee then please avoid this location because they will not take care of you or your car. If you decide to physically go to this location. Take a look inside their garbage. They leave material all over and never clean anything. Be careful who you leave your car too, especially this business. They unfortunately don’t care. Use another glass location or company like JN Phillips. If your insurance has recommended this place. You have the choice to ship elsewhere who will take care of you. Thank you for those who read this and you deserve better for your car.
Safelite Auto Glass uses the cheapest china glass you can buy. Every tiny pebble or any road debris leaves a tiny crater in the glass. Had my windshield replaced by them 5 or so years ago and I think the pictures can speak for themselves. When they scraped out the old glue, they scraped off my paint and never primed over it, inevitably leading to this monstrosity of rust all over where my windshield is supposed to be sealed. I highly suggest using a privately owned company for your windshield replacements over big giants like Safelite.
During my initial claims call, Amica outsourced my call to Safelite Solutions. Once I talked to SL Solutions, In my opinion, I was steered away from my chosen shop, to a Safelite Glass shop even though my dealership could have technically done the work. Following the initial call, I received multiple emails, texts and phone calls from Safelight. Mainly touting their 4.7 out of 5 star rating. Last Friday 6/4, I received a AOK email from them re-re-reconfirming my windshield for my Volvo XC60 would be replaced today 6/7. Then, morning of 6/7, I received a call from a blocked caller ID informing me that the part didnt arrive on time and they had to reschedule for 6/8 (from 6/7). 2 hrs later received another message that appt was moved out to 6/9, then a phone call to tell me it would be 6/10 before the part would even arrive at their shop. Phone communication was abrupt, and a deal with it attitude from the local shop left me frustrated. Oh yes, they blamed covid... I escalated to Amica and informed them of my dissatisfaction. By the end of the day, a Sr Client care rep from Safelite assured me the claim would be white gloved through to completion. We will see. Overall, very disappointed with SLs steering business away from a local shop, then not preparing for a customer commitment better than they did. BTW, Amica handled the escalation flawlessly and showed advocacy for the policyholder. If only they could / would hold Safelite to the same level of service.

Unfortunately my car was broken into when I left it over night in their parking lot. But the manager called me first thing in the morning to tell me about incident and had me come down and evaluate the damage. He gave me new wiper blade as a comp, and replaced the broken window at no extra charge! The team did a great job at replacing the original window that needed to be replaced and the newly damaged window. Thank you!

I had the windshield in my Toyota Sienna replaced. After 2 days, it was leaking water into the passenger side cabin area and ruined my factory floor mats. I contacted the company to have the windshield repaired and the floor mats replaced. The company repaired the windshield, left black residue from the windshield sealant all over my dashboard. Ive attempted to contact the store manager multiple times and left numerous messages about having the floor mats that were damaged due to poor workmanship and have not received a call back. Poor customer service and poor work quality. As someone who works in the car industry, I would NOT recommend them at all!

Its been almost 3 months, and still havent gotten car windshield replaced. Had 3 appointments: drove to location TWO separate times to be turned away (windshield cracked, then no windshield delivered at all even though told it came in). Then told 2-3 times windshield will be in tomorrow so expect a call for an appt...never received a call. On phone now, as I write - hoping someone will pick up the phone.

They refused to service my vehicle at first because I had a small trailer with text to my truck. A small cargo trailer they wanted me to drop it but I didnt have the keys. Hook it. I had to call regional office and have them talk to the manager who eventually use the portable kit fix a crack in my windshield.

Although timely repair glass left in rear hatch door frame has caused rear hatch to not operate, sensor saying hatch is open and this is resulting in interior lights staying on, so now I have to go to the local Ford dealership and pay for the repair. Even better there is no loaner available so without transportation I have had to cancel two important appointments. Needless to say I am extremely dissatisfied and will not recommend this company to anyone. I feel that I should be reimbursed for all and any expenses and will pursue this with diligence.

They repaired my windshield but did not place my rear veiw mirror in correctly. When I tried to get in contact them the phone call is all automated I cant get ahold a person.

Had my a chip in my windshield repaired. The fix wasnt pretty, but its fixed, was done quickly (only spent 25 minutes there) and the customer service was good. Maybe they could have smoothed out the resin or something to make it look nicer? either way its fixed and Im happy
I had a large rock hit my windshield a few weeks ago and called Satellite to make an appointment for a windshield replacement. From start to finish, the whole process was so easy! The team worked diligently to make the repair despite how busy the shop was. After I left with my new windshield, I discovered a new sound coming from my heating system so I called and made a new appointment and they were very accommodating and quick to resolve the issue. I would definitely use Satellite as they are professional and timely and would recommend them to anyone needing glass repair on their vehicle.
I have never had such a difficult time getting a windshield replacement in my life!! First they installed the incorrect windshield and then they dont recalibrate it upon the second install. All I can say is go somewhere else!!
The issue I had was it taking over 3 weeks for them to replace my rear slider window for my truck. They came out to my house twice and my girlfriends house once just to inform me that they had the wrong glass. Then I finally had an appointment scheduled for 11AM this past Sunday. Two other peoples (whom had appointments after me) vehicles had been brought in and repaired while I sat and waited over an hour to get my vehicle brought in. The best thing about the situation is its over.

I cant express how great the Southbridge St location in Worcester is. I came in with a puddle in my car and just wanted someone to look at it real quick on if it was the windshield or sun roof. They took it right in and made me an appointment for the next day. The staff was extremely helpful! The technician that came out to fix my windshield was also great! THANK YOU!

My old windshield was struck by a flying pebble or something on the highway right in front of my face at 65 MPH. The technician arrived on time, was polite, quick & professional. I dont even think it took a half hour & my Cherokee was as good as new.

Used Safelite because they were preferred. I was cautious as I been told about their workmanship wasnt up to the appropriate level but lets give them a shot. Well never got a chance to review the workmanship, as they never showed up and its been 4 appointments and month later. Things happen and we can let those things go but after all this still the manager from one of the Safelite locations doesnt want to reach out to the customer or deal with the customer. Geico chooses them as their preferred but I only see that they are the cheapest deal.

I scheduled my service appointment for this afternoon between 12-5pm. I selected for the technician to come to my car. I received a text confirming my appointment, yesterday to remind me, and today when Claude would arrive. He came at 1130, earlier than scheduled which is even better! He was friendly, professional, and got the job done in a timely manner. I couldn’t ask for better service.

It was terrible. 3rd time to get same window fixed and each time they couldnt do it. Blamed it on poor glass. Its been three weeks since last shop visit and no one has called me back, after called corporate and complained. My daughters car has a side wundow that is open 1/2 inch, the one they replaced and still have nit fixed. Cold and wet getting in.
Horrible management - specifically Jim Berthel. Kristian? a tech or window changer damaged our vehicle. Jim sent out the same tech to assess his own damage. Safelite does not see this as conflict of interest?Horrible experience

I had a scheduled appointment to receive a new windshield at my workplace in Worcester. Since I felt unsafe driving this vehicle, I did not have that vehicle with me at work the day of appointment. My Technician Ben Went Above and Beyond by Driving out to my home in Southboro. Therefore I did not have to wait to reschedule for another appointment. Ben had kept me informed via text messaging the entire day. He provided me with an approximate time of his arrival at my home, He got there earlier than he anticipated. He also messaged me upon completion of my new windshield. I was beyond grateful how Amazing Ben was to me! I highly recommend Safelite along with a promotion and Raise for Ben!

Every person that I spoke too from this company/location was super nice and helpful! At first I had a technician come to my work and he immediately ensured I was aware that my insurance company never responded and therefore I would need to pay out of pocket. He was kind enough to offer to go to another appointment and then come back to me once I sorted the issue out. When I wasn’t able to that day I scheduled an in shop appointment a few days later. When I called to re-schedule I was very frustrated with my insurance company and the woman I spoke to immediately lifted my mood! Everyone there when I dropped my car off was also super nice! My windshield was replaced within 3 hours time regardless of how busy they appeared to be when I initially dropped off my car and it looks great! They even fixed some hanging wires that had been constantly in my way! Hopefully I have no need to return any time soon, but will definitely recommend to others!

My insurance was weird about the whole claim. When asking the Safelite representative if Safelite accepted the terms of my insurance he said no and my insurance made it sound like I would incur many expenses and that I should switch to a different service provider. I choose to stay with Safelite because of the superb service I received when I had to replace my windshield before. Before I got off the phone the Safelite representative reassured me of my decision and said that the work would be at no expense to me. I will always go to Safelite in the future for all of my windshield problems.The service at this location was fantastic. I can hardly see the chip and the customer service all around was amazing.
I had scheduled an appointment where they come to my location. The day of I receive an email saying theyre on their way, but shortly thereafter I receive a text saying they cant make it out today due to the cold and I would have to bring the vehicle to the shop (its not like they didnt know ahead of time it would be cold). I have a couple of the my employees drop off the vehicle and are told that it cant be fixed as the chip is too big. When signing up, I chose to repair as the damage was less than what is allowed. Not only it has it be replaced, which is way more expensive, now theyre saying they cant service the vehicle for another week. So, in addition to paying for the increased windshield, I have to pay my employees to drive all over the state since Safelite cant get their act together. Completely ridiculous.
No one ever answers the phones. Waiting for the wiper sensor that should have been done at the first appointment. IDC if they do it for insurance. They suck!

I got my windshield replaced at this Safelite a while ago, and I wanted to wait a bit before writing a review to see how it held up. Ive put about 20,000 miles on my car since then. No leaks or any issues whatsoever. Additionally, the glass that they used seems to be much higher quality than others in the industry. It has taken several good whacks from rocks on the highway, which from the sound of it I was sure would have left a chip/crack but the glass turned out to still be perfect! I went through USAA when doing my repair and I remember that the guys at this Safelite got me in and out quickly and were very professional. I will definitely return here for all of my future auto glass needs.
Very simple process, here is what to expect.If youre going to go through insurance, safelite will probably be their recommended glass replacement company. They will file a request. The next day, a safelite rep will call you, confirm the work, ask you if the vehicle can be sheltered where the work is being done and schedule an appointment.You will get a text of a photo of the tech that will be meeting you for the appointment and replacing the windshield. They will take your keys, and do their thing.A couple hours later, you will be billed your deductible, thanked for your business and asked to review your experience.The work was excellent, the process was clear, simple, and efficient. Cant really ask for more.Thank you!

I used the service on the 20th of Dec after taking a rock to the windshield out on the pike. Made the appointment, took it in and the chip was able to be repaired instead of replacing the windshield. I was in and out in no time. The staff is great, friendly and courteous.

Had Safelite repair my back window. The technician broke the door and broke several other pieces tryign to fix his error without even notifying me of the issue. The manager was nice enough to come out himself and try to resolve it and even ordered parts to repair the damage his technician made. Unfortunately after the parts were replaced the original door issue was still present and I had to do an insurance claim to have it fixed (a shop replaced the entire unit - $1500). A lot of time and money (including my $500 deductible) wasted for a window replacement thats supposed to be easy and free. Would not recommend.
I came in for a 1 oclock appointment. There was one person in the office. He was in a chair fast asleep and had an iPad in his lap playing stand up comedy. I tried to wake him up a few times but he didnt stir. At the time, I was annoyed and left. In retrospect, it was very funny.

They came out last week to replace a rear windshield on my truck. After the technician wrapped things up, I realized he had dented and chipped the paint along the window trying to pry it out.I called the next morning to inform them of the damage and schedule a time for the manager(Brian) to come out and assess the damage. Brian came out Friday morning(8/10) to take a look and said hed get back to me by the end of the day with a solution. I never heard from him...Today(8/15), I called and talked to a customer service rep who was in communication with the local office on the other line and they promised I would receive a call back today...Well, its almost 6pm, and I still have not heard back from them.Also, during the install the tech had to break the other 2 panes on the window to remove it and left the glass for me to clean up.
2015 range rover evoque needed windshield called and had appointment for a saturday they came out after 40 mins the install tells me wrong glass. So i was shocked and asked instead of aftermarket can i get oem glass. He called his manager and said ok allset he will order it. Ok fine we set a tentative appt for the following sat as long as oem glass is delivered in time. Called friday to check if glass in and ready to go. Yes glass was in but not oem cause they said my insurance company denied it. I asked what day they submitted my claim because they never notified me of the denial claim. Nobody knew so i called insurance company upset they denied my claim to install a oem windshield on my 50k dollar car. They informed me no claim was ever submitted but they went ahead and faxed over the ok to get the oem glass for me. So after that was allset i asked them you want my vin# because there are 15 different pieces of glass for my vehicle and i dont want to wait another week and a half for them to waste another day and bring wrong glass. Well today is install day and guess what wrong glass again. Awesome management lets not get vin# just spin the wheel and hopefully 1 in 15 it will be right. Well you did it twice and didnt work maybe time for new management. Bottom line they didnt call insurance company and lied that they did. Then inexperienced with correct glass

DO not use them.. They replace windshield of my Mercedes Benz, adhesive spilled and dried out in the dashboard, left dirty hand prints all over the liner in which is lite one, and also ripped the liner on the inside around the windshield.. Very poorly job!!
Kind of a unique place. My windshield broke but it was covered by my insurance (usaa) and they sent me to this place. It seemed really busy and unorganized when I arrived but they got the job done surprisingly fast. The waiting room was honestly horrible and packed but thankfully there is a wingstop across the street and if you get a window seat you can see the glass place while you eat. Also my truck has stopped spraying wiper fluid since I got my windshield replaced but Im not sure if its relatable

Last June (actually i think it’s a year ago this week) I had a windshield replaced. The technician was aight but i questioned safelite’s process as a lot of what seemed like important plastics around the windshield, weather guard, etc. seemed pretty torn up. I was told “it’s normal. just plastic. no harm.” the plastic clips and pegs were replaced by bright yellow ones that didn’t match the size - nor did they stay on - in fact, all but one fell off from holding on the plastic rain guard below the windshield and under the wipers. the next day my air conditioner stops working (the process knocked leaves into the blower motor and jammed it - annoying but not a big deal, fixed that myself once i pinpointed that problem). Fast forward a couple months it’s raining excessively hard and my car floods big time….I thought it was due to other problems but it wasn’t until this may that i was able to figure that not only the pegs were missing (they just fell off) but my car’s rain gutter system is screwed up. Unfortunately I have no hard documented evidence since July (plus now that i’ve pinpointed the problem fully its been a year already) so now I’m still leaving covers on my car when its raining while dealing with the mildewy smell after this shoddy job at safelite. it’s just a serious of events thats happened . As of now I’ve fixed the major problems after going to the dealership and shelling out $50 bucks on some of the plastic pieces that were destroyed causing water to leak through…. it’s better now but it still leaks a little bit on the passenger side (not through the windshield - but through the rain gutter system which was affected shortly after the windshield job). Not just my opinion but also the many many many people I’ve talked to about this sort of problem. Every day it rains, snows (this winter was brutal), ANY form of precipitation, I just wish I took it to the dealership to begin with.Ironically when my roommate asked me (as I’m working on the car) why it leaks I begin saying “First I had a broken windshield, then I had it replaced by Safelite…”he cuts me off and says “SAY NO MORE. I deal with these guys at enterprise rent a car a lot and it is always the worst service. they mess up the job and everything is a hassle. in short, they ALWAYS do a terrible job and what you should have done was go through JN Phillips - they treat you right and do the job right.”
