Very unprofessional..Typical upcharge shop..Left the vehicle a complete mess oil hand prints on steering wheel door center console carpet..

They were very friendly and concise with explaining my cars repair needs. Came in on my appointment time and was serviced right away. No gimmicks. I would recommend this Merlin Complete Auto Repair to anyone for great service! These guys are great!

Also got fuel lines and fuel pump plus abs brakes all fixed and my car caught fire. Fire department said it was fuel flamed due to damage my work truck is totaled.

Loved this place until my last visit, very unwelcoming and I felt disrespected due to being the first one there yet my vehicle was serviced and came back down and remained touched or returned to me while multiple vehicles went up and came back down and went back to their owners. Even asked what the hold up was and the worker told me 15 more minutes while they all sat there and talked having me waiting for no reason.

I went in for an oil change, and suddenly my car had several thousand dollars worth of things wrong with my car. I had just had my car in to get fixed at All star Auto a month ago so I didnt think there could be that much wrong suddenly. I took it back to All star for a second opinion. Turns out only $500 of work needed to be done. Definitely wont be going back, definite scam

Great first experience here! I had a bad electrical issue and they got it solved quick and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg! I worked with Nick and he’s was very polite and explained everything that need to be done. I’m definitely recommending friends and family to this location.

Had an appointment to get a new tire the morning of Saturday. The day before Easter. Was supposed to have it done at noon. Noon rolls around and I get no call. I call to find out tire should be in at 1:30... They never called. 1:30. Nothing. 2:30. Nothing. I go to call again at 3pm to find out they are closed. In short. I blew off my family Easter brunch to get my flat tire fixed and all I ended up doing was sitting around all day missing the holiday. Got no work done. Havent even heard one word from them after leaving a message about how unprofessional they are.

This is the first place I have had confidence in sending my wife and kids to. Professional reliable service. They have helped me find the best way to approach my service needs.

It was a terrible experience I was there 3 1/2 hours to tell me that the part I had was not the right one. I will never go there again. I still was charged $160. I was in the same condition when i started.

I get my oil changed here every 3 months about. I have always had great service. I only had one issue with one of the times I took my car. they definitely made up with it with some free oil changes. They are a fair group

This Merlin shop has the absolute BEST customer service I have ever experienced. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Nick and the guys took great care of me. Pricing was amazing for what was done. I was over an hour from home when my brakes were hardly working anymore... Luckily I found this shop and they did a great job making sure my car was back in excellent working order. They even went out of their way to fix a headlight in minutes when I had previously been told it would be a costly and timely job by another shop ... I will be a returning customer!

I came in this morning with car troubles. My car died in the middle of the road, thankfully I was able to start it back up. It was running very rough and barely moving at all no matter how hard I stepped on the pedal. The car ended up dying when I reached thethe Merlins lot. I was first greeted by Nick upon entranceto their facility, he gladly took my car in for diagnostics and his assistant manager Luke found a few things that needed repairs. Everyone here was completely transparent with what needed to be done and what could wait for a little bit. All in all I am satisfied with the customer service I have received here and will forever more be a customer of theirs for things I cant do myself of course. Thank you to the amazing owners, Nick and Jeff, as well as their assistant manager Luke. I will be back and I will recommend anyone and everyone to your locations.

Bought a used vehicle and wanted to go over all the components of the engine and undercarriage with the team at Merlin. I have come to them for service for a number of years and they walked me through the whole car and indicated what I should replace and could wait on and thoughts on future service. Overall a good experience. Had a minor problem with the brake fluid components which took a little longer than expected but everything is fine. Even pulled the bird nest out of the suspension for me. ☺

The staff at this location is not only very nice/professional, but incredibly fair and honest. They will not try to sell you on things you dont need and will be honest about the severity of your current issue. I made an appointment online to have my tires aligned and was thanked just for showing up on time. Every worker I talked to was polite and seemed genuinely happy. Will definitely be back!!

The general manager at this location was mean and scary. When I was surprised by the fifty dollar fee for a simple headlight replacement, he said, Well thats how we stay in business, then stormed out of the room, slammed the door, and punched the wall, and left his associate to deal with it. I will never come back to this location again.

Ive been going to Merlin in woodstock for awhile now and normally the matinence or jobs i asked to be done are done well and my vehicle come back good if not better than it was. That being said ive noticed over the last year a slide in the quality of work and knowledge of vehicles. This time around ive had enough and will not be returning. I went in to have my spring wheels and tires put on my truck and have the brakes checked both jobs were done fine and the customer service was fine as well, but what set me off is how they got my truck into the bay. My truck is a 6 speed dodge 2500. I asked when i got there if the tech was capable of driving my truck into the bay and if not i was more than happy to do it for them. I understand due to liability and insurance i cant do that, none the less i did offer. I then proceded to watch the tech get in my truck sit for a minute trying to find 1st and/or the parking brake and then drive my truck in 3rd gear reving it and holding the clutch halfway to 3/4 and the parking brake was on! The manager and other techs were laughing at the tech driving saying he was in the wrong gear and the brake was on. I could smell my clutch burning and yes i know the difference between brake burning and clutch burning smell. The manager then told me he just forgot to take my parking brake off and that was the smell. I know for a fact it wasnt. If i wasnt already getting a new clutch this coming week i would of made a much bigger deal out of it. Like i said the work i asked for was done fine minus a couple details and torquing properly ( i went around and checked with a torque wrench) it was the actual care of my vehicle is was not happy with. And one of the techs seemed like he knew what was going on and the rest didnt. Just thought a warning was needed for other people with manual vehicles and be aware of what they are doing in the bay.

The place is ok, quality work, but what you end up paying to keep your vehicle running, is never a nice surprise.

I have had two cars severely damaged while in for repairs in this shop costing me thousands in repairs elsewhere. A punctured air intake box and a crushed oil filter housing. When I brought my car back in after an oil change because it was leaking oil they sent me away saying it wasn’t their fault and just drive it and see what it does. Well my engine almost seized because of their damage and their lack of help when I brought it back.STAY AWAY!!!!! Report to the BBB coming soon and perhaps law suit to recoup damages
