I’m leaving a 1 star review for the maintenance department. I have purchased 2 vehicles there within a year or so of each other and I was bringing all 3 of my vehicles in for oil changes. Every time I pay for an oil change a week or 2 later I end up having to add fluids, so they aren’t checking or topping off fluids like they say they are. Go to Martin Chevy in Crystal Lake as they was your car and top off fluids and offer coupons and deals. If you purchase your vehicle at Martin Chevy you get free oil changes for as long as you have the vehicle. So disappointed!

Smaller Dealership that offers that home/personal touch. Recently moved to the area so I brought my SUV in for an oil change. Everyone said Good Morning and was very friendly. While waiting for my vehicle to be serviced (only took less than 25 minutes), I wandered into the showroom and had a very enjoyable Classic Car conversation with a Salesman. Again, the friendly personal touch. I actually enjoyed bringing my SUV into Reichert for service. Price was good also.

Joe S. was the representative I worked with on my deal. I had a great experience. Although I was not buying a $40,000+ new car, I was still given the highest level of customer care. Other dealerships have paid us no mind because we are a young couple who they didnt take serious. Joe made himself available to me after work hours to help hash out the details. This was great because of my busy schedule. David, the business manager/analyst was also very helpful, informative and honest. Everyone made time for us and even after the sale was finalized, we were not pushed out the door. Both employees took what I had to say into consideration and met me at a price that everyone was comfortable with. I am now in the vehicle I wanted and have a new standard for dealership customer service due to these guys.

I had a very bad experience with the service department. The center counsel on my 2019 equinox keeps going out completely. They replaced it once and I kept having the issue. They blamed it on the fact that I plug my phone in and use CarPlay which is a feature of the car. I felt like I was being completely blown off. I took it to another dealership and they are replacing the stereo again and it was a much better experience.

Had an oil change customer service in the service department was excellent. The cashier could not break a $100 bill, so I had to put the charge on my credit card unexpectedly. And she lost the rebate form, so the service guy had to refill out the form and explain what to do with it. I remember saying its a little strange when a business wont accept your cash....

I had my car for 6 months and it’s been in the shop 3 different times for the same reason😑 and now you have to have a credit card to get a rental ( which you don’t need to get a car) which makes it’s harder to get the car in the shop I’m going to order a credit card so I can put my card in lthe shop.... I was going to go trade the card in within a year but it’s breaking down so maybe I should go somewhere else. The guy in the service department is rude as well so I will not be returning to deal with them.

Let me start by saying that I usually avoid dealerships for any type of service. However, after finding out that my struts were leaking on my vehicle (from my Independent mechanic) with only 56k miles I called two local dealers. The first was the mega dealer which rhymes with “Fartin” and they quoted me $1,890.00 for the work. Then I called Reichert and spoke with Rich who asked me to come in so their mechanic could confirm the issue. I brought it in (free of charge) and they quoted me $1,600.00. After GM refused to assist me with this issue I called Reichert to order the parts and have the work done. To my surprise, Richert called me when my truck was done to explain that they had discounted the parts by $163.00 because they felt bad GM had denied my request for financial assistance. I paid $1,467.00 out the door and even had a loaner car without asking. How could I not be ecstatic about this dealership? They went to bat for me which is an experience I have never had before with a dealership. This speaks volumes to the character and values of Reichert. They saved me over $400 hundred from the other local dealership and I could not be more appreciative. It’s a refreshing feeling for myself to trust a local dealer to be honest, fair and compassionate towards the customer. HIGHLY recommend!

I needed only routine servicing, and everything was completed in 30 minutes. No complaints about that. In addition, the employee who took care of it was very pleasant and cooperative.

When I showed up to look at a vehicle the sales person was not pushy. Before I took a test drive I looked over everything I could think of. The owner actually sits at a desk on the show room floor. The sales person actually changed the key fob battery for me. I really wish they were closer. I would love to take my vechicle there for service.

Extended family have purchased a number of new and used vehicles from Reichert over more than 2 decades. My son is still driving my 1999 Chevy Astro purchased used in 2001 - it’s never needed much more than routine maintenance. My 2006 Chevy HHR, (purchased elsewhere) was NOT so great, but Reichert honored the certified used warranty and took care of any issues reasonably. Their service center and mechanics are great. I’m car shopping now to replace the HHR, and if I go with an American made car, it will be from Reichert. I would not trust anyone else!

All service issues were completed sooner than I expected. Rich was very courteous and explalned service issues very clearly.

Tom was my salesperson and he went over and above in explaining my car and all involved with the purchase and maintaining it. He was very knowledgeable and patient in his dealing with me, as I am from the Flintstone era when it comes to being tec savy. Tom even took me out to introduce me to the service manager. Everyone one at Reichert was extremely nice, and I would recommend them to everyone. I would never buy a car from anyone else, I was that happy!

The absolute worst experience trying to buy a Suburban in my life! Arrived for an appointment that no one seemed to know about followed up by a phone call the following day from the general manager that actuall said he felt that I had a chip on my shoulder! Lots of other dealerships trying to earn my business which I will take elsewhere. Much more to say but I will leave it at that.

Awesome experience. Beat Lou Bachrodt Chevy and Ziegler Chevys prices with more options on the automobile. I went in with a pre-approved loan with my bank. They beat my banks loan by 4%. Best experience Ive ever had dealing with a car dealership!
