The Home Depot in Woodland, California has the typical selection of home improvement supplies and contractors to install about anything you may need. Today was my 1st trip to the Woodland store and I was looking for lighting and garden plants. The lighting display was a bit disappointing, but oh my, the garden area and plants were outstanding. Very diverse staff. People overall look pretty happy to work here. Definitely a different vibe from most HD, very chill. A lot of the staff is younger though so they dont seem as experienced with the products offered as is ideal

Not very happy with them. Was there to buy materials and do a return but because I no longer had the credit card I used or the reciept they would not return or give in store credit as of August. So I ask you this how many of you actually read every printed piece of paper the put up. Easy return NOT.

Some of the employees here are really helpful while others stand around and do nothing and dont even want to check you out, the merchandise itself is pretty good and Im really glad they have this store here in Woodland but if the website states that theres a certain number of a specific item in stock that basically means nothing as well as the pricing online means nothing as well because they dont actually go by the pricing online they claim so because of these reasons I have to reduce my rating on a store that has otherwise good merchandise and some helpful friendly employees.

I bought these cute white peonies and some dahlias. The peonies were $30 and there were lots of flower buds on them. Very happy and satisfied with my purchase

Its the onlly place to get home project supplies at a semi reasonable price. Stock is currently low, but i was able to get the items i wanted.

Customer service took care of our returns. We needed help & a guy was helping us & we walked over to 4 guys in there 20s who looked like they were just standing around; said they didnt have what we needed. An older gentleman came over & showed us exactly where it was. Obviously age = knowledge :) HD you may want to have the older employees teach the younger employees how to provide customer service. Thank you!

I love shopping at home depot but it would be nice if I could get some help from staff once in a while, I cant tell you the last time someone approached me to see if I needed help. My last visit I had a customer that was shopping as well assist me. HD you need to work on customer service at a distance of course.

Decided that it was worth driving to HD in Woodland (CA) rather than my waste time at the HD in Yuba City to get electrical materials needed to finish a number of projects. Compared to the Woodland store, the Yuba City store must be managed by a high school undergraduate from a 3rd world country - their inventory is deplorable! Now, Woodland store is a completely different story: I quickly found everything needed to finish what I had started weeks ago. Too bad I had to drive 30 miles. Im avoiding Yuba City HD henceforth!

Normally, I wouldnt give Home Depot a poor review. They have a huge inventory of home improvement and garden supplies, and it would be hard to complain about that. What really bothers me is their customer service. While in their store several months ago, one of their customers stole my wallet while my back was turned. This wasnt the stores fault, but it took them FIVE WEEKS to get back to me about whether or not there was any security footage on the incident, and staff almost completely ignored me when I was trying to leave information with them on the theft, which came to over $100. My request just kept being passed from employee to employee without resolution. I had to write to them several times and call before they finally told me that there were no cameras on that particular aisle. This could have all been resolved within a couple of days. Very disappointed in their lack of concern. Also, very rude guy in the garden department that day. Not returning.

I would have rated it higher if the staff knew or at least would help you find what youre looking for in a respectful manner. They have a great selection of products that is an issue. The issue is youre bothering them. And they use the excuse its not my department you get that at Walmart I dont expect it for the home Depot

I love the fact that theyve what i needed but the items came with a 4 ft long brackets, needed them 3 ft and they could not cut them for me so now i have to find another use for them, i originally wanted them for the kitchen

Some of the employees were friendly, but enough of the staff made me feel like I was bothering them. I tried to get a key made there and someone I talked to on the phone said they could do the job for my particular key. When I got there, no one was at the key booth, and the person who came to help me was extremely rude and his energy was so dismissive and combative that had we encountered each other on the street and not in the store, I wouldve had to fight him. Ill drive to Elk Grove before I go into this store again. If I could give zero stars I would.

I have no problems with the products. The staff doesnt seem to be too friendly or helpful. Needed help cutting some wood and the employees attitude made it seem like he dreaded helping me out. I dont do home projects often so I wasnt too sure how the process went for cutting wood at home depot. I let him know I didnt know how it went expecting him to walk me through it or offer some kind of help but he just stood there and gave me a stare. The whole experience was very uncomfortable from a customers side. Hopefully not all the staff have the same attitude and it was just my experience.

I have been coming here for a long time. In recent years customer service hasn’t been the same. I asked for help to get something loaded instead of helping me I just got a it depends on how busy they are. Some employees are really nice and helpful but some need to work on understanding the customer better. I hope they fix up there attitude and customer service. I just want a straight answer I don’t need a answer that leaves me bewildered. Good Luck.

Our local Woodland Home Depot suffers from the same issues as most of the stores in the nation share. Limited staff often with limited knowledge. These points aside I have never had a bad experience with any employee at the store, even if they did not know how to help me directly they were enthusiastic and helped me find the items or people I needed to speak with. If you want to make a quick trip make sure to look up what you need before leaving home, otherwise dearching the store can be very time consuming.

Very unprofessional & disrespectful staff named Juan (old & unhappy with his job). I dont know why they still hire him. He has some serious attitude problem. You would thought that from his old age, he would know better. He seriously should be fired!! The manager even know who I was talking about without mentioning his name.

Went in to the store because online it said there was an item in stock that I was looking for. I spent an hour being walked back and forth across the store by various employees who wouldnt believe me when I said they werent in the isle they belonged. Each one had to check for themselves and subsequently look up top to see if they were hidden in a box. This was regardless of the fact that I told them a previous employee did the same. After they recognized that their inventory most be wrong, they told me that I could not order it because their system would allocate one from the stock that wasnt actually there. And if they were to zero out their stock it would be up to a week before the system realized and ordered more. To top it off I was told that I am not able to order an item unless it is in stock in the local store... This was just flat out ridiculous.

Home Depot is the Home Depot. What REALLY surprised me was that the self checkout used a hand held scanning tool. I did not see any cleaning of this scanning tool going on and while I dont want to be silly other Stores are doing much better.

This store is my go-to store as I can find many of the items that I look for. The customer service is also great when I look for an answer to my queations, ordering items and checkout.

Customer Service went out of their way for me yesterday when i needed to do a PayPal transaction without a card. I originally asked another clerk who was in Self Checkout if she could help me, and she just said No you would have to have the PayPal card, sorry. I had no clue what i was doing, but i knew there was a way to do this transaction without my having to go home and place my order for pickup or delivery and return again to pick up the merchandise. And just before i walked out the door i happened to glance at the Customer Service sign at the other end of the store. I figured if there was any way to do this transaction without having to leave and come back, they would probably know at Customer Service. So i took a chance and lugged my items over to Customer Service. There were 3 associates working in Customer Service, and i was called over from the wait line in under a minute. I explained my situation and was assured from the start that although they werent positive they could work it out, that they would definitely try! They took the load off my shoulders and immediately relieved the stress which was already building up in my chest, and the headache that comes along with it... Their friendliness and willingness to help me solve this problem, which they are really not even required to help me with, as it is my own responsibility to know how to get to my money before i reach the store. The Customer Service associates were all very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and we had the transaction done and me on my way in less than 15 mins!! These are the kind of people i wish every store had!

Ive been to this Home Depot in Woodland over a dozen times in the past 6 months and it hasnt been because I love them, but because they cant seem to get it right. The biggest issue Ive had is over my washer and dryer I ordered with them. I had to refuse delivery on the first set because cord wasnt long enough, even though they assured me it would be. It then took Home Depot 2 months to refund me. When I gave them a second chance and re ordered my appliances with them for the second time, I spent two weeks calling, following up, tracking people down, following up again, tracking people down, not getting returned calls, fixing errors they made to finally get my order right. Example: Theyd say they called the manufacturer to get a longer electrical cord only to find out them called and asked for a longer hose. Not the same thing. Every time Id go in there in person, Id get ignored, have to wait over 20 minutes for someone to talk to me, get short answers, and annoyed looks. The only reason this review isnt a 1-star is because after much pushing, the manager matched the price on my W/D to the same price I paid when I purchased it the first time, even though the price had gone up by $300 and because I finally got a very helpful person named Kelly who fixed everything for me!! I wish I had bought the W/D with Kelly from the get-go. Oh, and when I went to tell the manager that Kelly was amazing, he interrupted me and said we dont get complaints here before I could finish to tell him I wasnt complaining, I was giving a compliment. Worst Home Depot ever. I will never shop here again now that this W/D issue is over!!

Its just like every Home Depot. Most of the employees dont know a 2x4 from a caulking gun and are completely helpless other than looking things up on their phones. Theres usually one old dude who actually knows what hes talking about, but hes tough to find.

Just like most home improvement centers, it is very large. Hard to find associates for help. I was looking for a specific product that they didnt have and was forced to a similar product. I feel the associate could have checked another location

Asked a worker for assistance, who pretended not to hear me and tried to hurriedly walk around a corner to evade me lol. I had to literally yell excuse me sir. The gentlemen turned, and I asked if he could call someone over to make a few cuts. He said yes and walked away. About 10 to 15 minutes passed, so I called the front desk and asked if they could have someone assist me. I hear the request asked over the loudspeaker, and waited about 10 minutes before leaving. The store was very slow today, and lots of workers moving about, yet no assistance to be had. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but I hate giving businesses in woodland that excuse, as it seems to be the norm. Needless to say, my business, albeit small to them, was lost. Tired of places like this wasting my time.

Always has the materials I need to do a job completely. (or they can order it for you) Excellent & knowledgeable employees and fairly good prices. What else do ya want? Go there. Check it for yourself & then tell somebody about it.

Kristy in the paint department was amazing! She color matched a hard grey for my cabinets and is very patient and educated in color theory. I appreciated her very much for making it work.

I was really happy when we finally got a Home Depot in our area plus most other hardware stores like it have shut down so my area needed this store and Im really glad that we got it because you can get almost anything here and the employees will do their best to help you find what you need as well.
