Considering as much as we pay to park and the wait... youd expect a shower with no Mildew. This is disgusting.

Has been cleaned up a bit. Needs a little more, but not bad. Parking is cheaper then reserved parking. Free with fuel or store purchase.

Driver Lounge, Public Laundry, Barber shop, Truck repair shop, everything seems to be available in here. But, parking is not free, and no purchase in store will be cover for parking fee. No trash can behind the parking lot, so I took my trash and walked to the store to dump my trash. All Trash can are only around the store. May be I didn’t check well as well. However, nice place to stop for 30 minutes rest break.

Went to IHOP for breakfast. 45min. Wait but worth it. Best pancakes on the planet. Our waitress was fantastic considering how short staffed they were. Time to stop taking government handouts and return to work. Good thing while it was needed no longer needed.

**TRUCKERS BEWARE, NO FREE PARKING HERE**Lowest priced gasoline in the whole area.Whether youre driving a car or big rig be careful pulling in here, the pumps for both are all lined up next to each other.The store used to have all sorts of souvenirs, clothing, books and other stuff for sale, but now that its been taken over by corporate, all thats going away in exchange for just the standard truck stop fare.

No staff so ihop cant accomodate but 3 tables. Went to the J part no roller items. Absolutely nothing to eat but bags of candy. They need to just shut this place down if they cant mann it.

Today I bought pepper jack beef jerky with the cheese and I was trying to explain to the guy that the cheese was molded and the supervisor kept telling me the cheese will not molded she told me this is how its supposed to look. You take a look and tell me what you think

The only reason I gave you a 1 star. You have to pay for parking and I spend $1000s a month for gas. No garage near trucks, you have to walk a mile. If I catch a Uber for food I have to walk to the front. Boooooo

Went to cb radio repair shoo on 2nd floor Frank who owns DR. Radio is very helpful and my overall experience was a good one will be bringing him more cbs to repair.

BE CAREFUL. Very dirty place. Manager and stuff are rude. Restroom must be closed. Extremely negative experience. Nobody wearing masks. Covid19 spread center. Just two hours car parking. I will never comeback.

Restrooms were clean at 8am when I passed through. They have a massive used book collection. There is a major detour till 2018 do Ive included a map and details of work being done. There was a stack of them by the register if you need one too. We didnt try the showers because of the reviews in case we couldnt get a refund for a dirty shower. Ordered IHOP to go and they completed it in a timely manner. Parking is $10 for 24 hours. Pay cash with your ticket at the booth or pay with card inside. Lost tickets cost $75.00

We always enjoy the pancakes and chicken tenders at IHOP located in the detroiter Travel Center.

Having to pay for general parking is off brand. Ive been to countless Pilot/Flying Js from California to Canada and parking is free.The employees being nice and the IHOP is the only reason I wont give 0 stars.

Mess as usual

Showers disgusting. No toilet paper, and no soap. Toilet was dirty leaked also, and the sink had hair. Fan was dusty I didnt even bother keeping it on. If you looking for a shower look else where you have been WARNED!

This Flying J has no general parking....Scam alert. It shows on the ap 225 general FREE parking and when you get here running out of hour you realize that you have to pay. In order to get free parking you Ill have to put 75 gallons of diesel prior to park so if you dont have space for 75 in the tank you are screwed. The Parking is fenced in, and it has a gate that looks like you are going on some military base. All its missing is the soldiers. Obviously they are making money off this Scam. If drivers knew ahead of time. This place would not have much clients. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO PARK!!! FYI If you lose the parking ticket is $75 🤬

Cant give 0 stars, this is the worst flyj Ive ever been to. Gross Shower! leaking, spraying from the fittings and mold or fungus ALL OVER the grout in the shower. Their owner deserves to be in jail, and as we know is!

$10 for a decent and secure parking spot isnt bad in an area plagued with crime, gang activity, and intolerable truck traffic. Not much of a selection for hot grab and go food, but the place is ok all in all. Ill be back if this is where I end up landing again.

Fuel at least 75 gallons or spend $50.00 inside and have your parking validated. $10.00 parking otherwise. No in app parking reservations for this location. The subway is no longer open inside. They do have an ihop.Showers were below ok. They did make it right and they are very nice. Pilot Flying J’s across the country are going further and further down hill. The actual restrooms were very clean and cleaner than most pilot flying j’s across the country. Theres a Lowes, Bufflo Wild Wings, Blue Margarita and Mavericks if you want to stretch your legs. The Mavericks used to be a World of Beer. Mavericks would be my pick. Recommend the wings and the black and blue flatbread.

Ok so you have to pay to park, at least we as truckers have somewhere safe to park even though it’s paid. They also have an ihop which is way better than Denny’s. They’re also very nice 👍

The parking enforcement that work at nigh is on something.He parked his car in front of the parking entrance and didn’t let anybody to go in for parking.He said it was paid parking then I told him that I was going to pay but he still did not want to leave his warm crib to open the door.I don’t know why Pilot let these kind of people to work at fuel stations.

This was the old Detroiter 76 truck stop way back when, or so Ive been told. Its not bad, but there are potholes in the parking lot and you have to pay to park if you are a trucker. The IHOP is okay. Floors need to be a lot cleaner and the place definitely shows its age.

I love this truck stop! The scales have designated parking to pick up your scale ticket! Very spacious inside and IHOP is a great restaurant to have!

This place has become a ripoff, all parking spots are being charged for.2 days ago I came here at 3 am, this truck stop seemed to be the best choice before, but what I experienced here this time was a rude shock from the behavior of their security guard manning the truck stop parking entrance. .There were trucks leaving the place and this security guard had blocked the entrance with his car. After making repeated requests to enter the parking area to  get some sleep, this  man had no courtesy and showed utter disregard to the situation that a driver is tired and has not got enough hours to drive. Instead of helping out he called Woodhaven MI Police to ask them to move my truck even though my truck was parked in a very safe location, not blocking anyone or in the fire lane. The police personnel were very polite, they had no choice but to comply with the complaint and requested if I could move it to some other safe place. The closest place to park was Northbound I 75 ramp shoulder and sleep. In the morning at 8 am a DOT officer comes and gives me a parking ticket as it is against the law to park and sleep on a highway shoulder.Having explained to him the situation and showing him the logs he still gave a ticket and instructed to explain the matter to the judge to get any relief..Now, the next step is to fight the ticket and get record pulled out for the complaint made by this security personnel to the Woodhaven, Mi police. I hope the FJ management takes note of this situation seriously and talk to their security guard..

You do have to pay for parking and less you get 75 gallons or spend 50 bucks theres a ton of places to walk to get food and you are near a mall within walking distance

Every time my fiancée and I visit this truck stop, the employees are so nice and very helpful. Chelsea is by far my favorite employee here. She always has a smile on her face and is always so friendly!! She is a ray of sunshine even when it’s a cloudy day! Thank you for being so awesome!

As with most truck stops Pilot Corp gets its hands on it is not what it used to be. The local flavor is gone in favor of a national chain. If you want left alone when you go inside, forget it. A couple women from TVC are parked right inside the main entrance asking you everytime you go through the door about their service. You get the same feeling walking on a car lot with salespeople staring you down as drive up. If youre here all day they will ask you everytime you walk through the door.

People ask me why I dont have more money as a truck driver. Its because of truck stops like these. They dont have any fresh food after 5pm and youre forced to spend $5.29 for stale 2 slices of bread with 2oz of meat called a sandwich. Everything is expensive here because a trucker has no choice.

Pilot flying j threatens to call the cops if you dont wear a mask or pay with a card. If they want plastic because of change shortage they need to accommodate that at the parking gate as well.

I am working to persuade the owner of the company I work for to find for us any other place where we receive the service, and soon it will happen because 25% of the cache employees do not know how to treat truck drivers and do not know how much fatigue and tension we suffer, and all we just hope is that things do not get complicated.

Great place, great staff! Always a smile when I walk in the door! Definitely a warm, home feeling when I walk in the door! One of my favorite locations to visit when I am in the area!

You can only enter from West Road going east. I came from Allen Rd and was unaware off the new road construction not allowing traffic to make left hand turns into the truck stop... had to go past and turn around. If you are low on hours you dont want to waste all that time turning around.Looks like the new entrance will be much better than the old one.

No public restrooms. Not sure how it can be called a travel center still.

The people in the shop seem to be very knowledgeable but paid parking is the worst thing. Ive heard this from many people over the years that many many drivers will not even stop in let along get fuel because of paid parking .Not a driver friendly place

Pay to park in a lot with no trash cans, no grass, no lines, full of water, trash, and weeds, leaking toilets, no hot food, only one employee, cant shower with husband, stinks. If you can avoid like thr plague.

Unclean and way overpriced compared to most other gas station for most things. I think this is a truck stop trap/scam to rob hard working people. No 24 hr restaurant on top of all that is a zero star for me

Problemas on this location all the time. This was last time in there for me, i usually put more than 200 gl.Keypad dont work card reader either trucks parked on the pumps not filling and to top a flying j tanker is using a line will on the phone and decides to block a 2nd lane where i was going to move. Made me so mad that i left a lost my shoes tha I forgot on the side of the truck

Nice people and clean. Showers are spacious but like always way to expensive. I know supply and demand but without the truck drivers you wouldnt have a business.

Nice place to stop for a break. Good selection of eats. Im not going to pay $15 to fight for a spot though.

This a real trap, l will never come back here, there is no way you realize it until you find a gate, and if you already have fuel you got to pay for the parking, BS location stay away drivers !!!!

Truck Stop part is great. Too bad the IHOP opens at Lunchtime. It would be great if they didnt open so late in the day.

Good food and atmosphere

It took an hour and a half in the restaurant getting our breakfast for lunch. The food was okay, but the coffee was not very good. We had to walk through the restaurant to find someone to get our waitress so we could pay our bill and leave.

Paid parking are you kidding?

This place has turned into a dump . people just leave there garbage every where trucks just park where they want. Our company pays for 10 spots for us to park in the back and we cant even get back there. And the new management there Dawn I think her name is does not need to be dealing with the public she is rude and thinks she is better than everyone. Our company spends alot of money on fuel and spots to park there and get treated like that I will be letting Knoxville headquarters know how terrible she is.

Lots of parking for expedite, ihop, has all amenities. Could be a bit cleaner in store. Apparently trucks have to pay to park and I dont support that.

Staff is friendly. The Ihop is great. Costs 10 bucks to park if you dont get 75 gallons of fuel or 50 dollars of in store purchases. Parking has a security guard and a fence around it to make it a bit safer. Could use some updated showers. Always room to park.

Its $10 to park for 24 hours.Nice quiet parking.I get 43 channels on my digital antenna.Ive been a driver for 36 years.I would imagine that having a truck-stop that size is a huge overhead keeping insurance workers comp and other employees is quite expensive.I never used truck stop facility any more been doing this so long.I use there shower thats all.I have a microwave frigerator and Camping commode in my truck..I prefer instant coffee its much cheaper and you can make it as strong as you want.I think they have a very nice parking lot its not full of holes for $10 and not overly priced.Thank you flying j.36 year over-the-road trucker 6 more years to go.Sincerely.Dino the Bambino.PS.remember driver did turn your left blinker on when you exit your truck so you remember which side to get back in....

The place closed at just after 6pm! What the heck? No food, water... nothing! If I could give them 0 stars I would but in order to comment you have to give them at least 1 star.

Too crowded and not very friendly with the expeditors. Of course there are some that ruin our name and our job at so many places. But Detroit does need to have more truck stops for the expeditors and trucks.

Gated parking costs 10.00 for anything over 4 hours or you have to purchase $75 in fuel/$50 in merchandise. Not particularly well maintained asphalt and not very well lit. Facility seems clean but my fountain drink tasted like mold. I really expected a more from a place that charges you to park. I usually spend about $20 in merchandise but didnt because of it. Their ATM charges a $4.00 fee so make sure you have cash before you get there.

Spending the weekend here with my co-driver (wife). $10 a day isnt too bad for parking compared to spending $50 a day in the truck stop just to get free parking. $20 for 2 days is better than $100. We like I-Hop so cant complain about the food. Super Walmart is in walking distance.

Paid parking but the staffs are so rude!!!It’s our first time to park here, brought the ticket to have it validated but the staff was so rude!!You have to ask for the utensils also.

This truck stop is not worth paying to stay at. When I woke up and took a shower I thought I was going to iHop but nope they are closed until 6am. Unlike every other truck stop with a 24hr restaurant. The bathrooms are much like jail and don’t get me started on those unclean showers full of pubic hairs around the shower head. I will never return here. Go down the street to Pilot and Loves parking is free and hardees and Taco Bell will be open for your breakfast, lunch and dinner enjoyment 24hrs a day.

This place shouldnt carry Flying Js name..Flying J has free parking, good coffee so on so forth..it is for the truckers not for their wallets....

Decent location almost walking distance to Walmart and several other stores and fast food joints and even a tobacco shop all less than a half mile away.

I would give this place a.minusifI could. To park it costs 75 gallons of fuel or $50 spent in store. $80 dollars of fuel and smokes still costs you $0 to park . The fact that you may be spending $400 a day fueling at pilots doesnt matter. Lost my businesss. That $400 a day can go to Loves for fuel.

I gave this particular location one star because the bathrooms were disgusting. They were also very old. Im sorry to say that I have come to associate Pilot/Flying J bathrooms with uncleanliness. Whenever we use Pilot/Flying J, we are armed with Spray 9. I cleaned this shower before we used it, and picked up gobs of hair. It was disgusting. I am used to Pilot/Flying J bathrooms being untidy, however this one was over the line. They seem to be getting worse. It is taking me longer to clean the bathrooms, than it is to shower. It is not just this location. I hope that Pilot/Flying J will work on this issue.

Pulled in to get a shower, laundry and get some sleep and was told there will be a fee to park here. Are u kidding me? I get at least $700.00 in fuel a week at flying j/ Pilot but because tonight I didnt spend $50.00 I have to pay to park. So much for looking out for the trucker. They want to get their greedy little hands on every little dime they can. I cant wait until the rest stops start carrying convenience items for the truckers and provide more parking, I hope it closes greedy ass truck stops like this one down.
