Kitchen design and remodel review!Andrea the kitchen designer 5/5 stars she is honestly the only reason why I went with Home Depot for this whole process.Doug the cabinet guy who did the demo and install of cabinets and the sink. 5/5 stars Doug was super clean and professional.Sam the electrician 3/5 nice guy, but he messed up on a measurement where he had to come back because outlet was below cabinet instead of inside of it.Brad kitchen project coordinator- never met just emailed back and forth. Good communication 4/5 starsDan- customer service/kitchen project 4/5.Overall Andrea and Doug did amazing jobs. Far better than I could’ve thought. Just the overall process of stuff not getting done in the kitchen and kitchen being at a stand still for weeks without the next person/job starting was overall frustrating and annoying.

John was wonderful in the lawn and garden department. He went out of his way to physically check to see if an item was there on the shelf, he even set it aside for me for a couple of hours. When I got to the store, the item was waiting for me at customer service. I asked some to help me load it, but unfortunately no-one came to help. A customer ended up helping me to load it in my car.

I enjoy shopping for all the necessary items I need in one place for my house.

Shopped Allen Park store, appliance dept. sales lady Rachel went out of her way to help me in my purchase for a microwave. She was a big help for me. We need more salespeople like her. Keep up the good good work, it does not go unnoticed . Home Depot should be proud to have you on their team!!

I feel the store manager has poor people skills, and pushes his responsibilities on his other coworkers his customer service is very poor.John the specialty supervisor there has all the qualities of a general manager he went above and beyond and I should I own a company and deal with customers everyday.

I was very upset to when I arrived at this store. I had been trying to find a zero turn mower for over a week. I knew that, even though it was a big chain, it had the best pricing on the products and usually had the items in stock quicker. After check every store (including other businesses) within a 2 hour radius, I found this store to have one of the mowers in stock. On arrival I became very upset. Even though I had called and was assured the item was in stock, I was informed that no it was not.The Manager of the Lawn & Garden Dept. took over and asked me to wait a moment so he could personally check. He found one, still in the crate, in the back. He was very professional, but, personal in his attempt to make it right. He personally uncrated the mower and helped to load it in the truck. He went over the operation of it and made sure I was satisfied.Had it not been for this Manager stepping in and making it right, I would have left a 1 star review.

Always a nice selection of products I am looking for. Picked up a new fire pit today for $150.

I placed an order online for 2 patio umbrellas, both of which broke within the first month of use. (Manufacturing issues) Each of them broke within days of eachother, my husband thought we would just have to throw them out because they were already used but I contacted home depot and they said they have a great return policy and wouldnt give us any trouble returning them. They were correct! We took both broken umbrellas back to this location and they honored their return policy with grace. No rude comments from employees or hassle getting them returned. Customer service is extremely important for any retail location so I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome of this situation.

I wish I had one closer. Occasionally there are some pretty good deals if youre into building and fixing and yard stuff. Traffic in and especially out of this location is of nightmarish hell. The tool rental is really useful for that tool you need, but dont want spend a weeks pay on buying.

We ordered a dishwasher, paid extra for installation and removal of old dishwasher. The guy just came and looked at out kitchen said because we had a granite counter top and copper piping they couldnt install it or take it out. No where on the website when i ordered it asked about these things. Wasted my time and day waiting for then. Never be buying from home depot again. Requested a full refund too. Sincerely very dissatisfied customer

DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES AT HOME DEPOT!My husband and I ordered a full set of appliances from Home Depot. The delivery company they use failed to deliver them twice. Both times the delivery company said they called us to confirm and we did not answer. Neither of us received calls on either day. They are unreliable and Home Depot told my husband there are no other options for delivery. We ended up waisting a month and ultimately cancelled our order.

Its a Home Depot. Are any better than the others? I like the screens they use for checkout. I dont know if they stopped doing hot dogs for Covid, but I havent seen them in a while and I miss them.

This is my favorite Home Depot. Probably because I know my way around it. Staff is usually very friendly but today the staff just seemed sad. Not unfriendly but definitely tired of customers that show them no respect. So people just be nice!

Was looking for 2 batteries for my weed wacker.didnt find them. But I ended up talking to a manager and he gave me a great deal on a weed wacker/ leaf blower combo. Very pleased! Awesome !

I made a mistake and bought a American standard toilet. About two years ago and all of a sudden it starts a small leak at the base ok no problem repace the wax ring !! Thats when it all starts!! remove the tank to find some plastic shoot in there broken started to explan this at the store but they were of no help!!!No one at the store knows the inter working of this toilet so I ended up going to Lowes and picking up a Mansfield made in America and you can get parts at the store

Darrell was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when we needed to replace a few florescents with the newer phillips LED lights - The Russian lady (sorry, didnt get her name) was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the kitchen department, as we needed assistance in finding the right kitchen sink and proper measurements - Nicole was great fun at the checkout, despite another customer (who was eerily following us down every isle of the store, stalker type) cut in front of us at the checkout, we had some good laughs and ranted about him, she was very pleasant and cheerful.

I needed wood cut and a few other things. The workers were amazingly helpful and very pleasant.

Have gone in to pick up a few items and there has always been someone who has greeted me. Ive asked questions of where something is and have always been given the correct answer. I like that I can go in and come out with ease. Staff appear friendly and helpful and are interacting with customers.

I was looking at swatches of paint colors at the Woodhaven store and couldnt decide when comparing with my pillow sham and loveseat cushion. So, I took various samples and asked Lisa and Crystal for their opinions on my way out (they were standing by the exit ready to assist).These ladies are helpful, courteous and have wonderful smiles. Way to go with excellent Customer Service!!!

I use Home Depot nearly as much as a super market. I like that I can use my app to find the isle and bin number on items I need. No matter what location I use. They do that better than any other business.

Very clean and staff is very friendly. I would advise putting forth a few more minutes for this stop due to the sheer amount of traffic in the intersection. Not to mention the traffic in and around the parking lot, which is shared by numerous other stores and restaurants.

Had a few bath tiles in short supply in most stores, that I needed to complete my remodel. Got me to a floors ng specialist rang me up over the phone and picked up in store. Super easy

Visited twice during our renovations. We ended up spending our money at Lowes just based on the disconnected service reps at Home Depot. We were met with feeling like a burden not getting friendly service or help finding product. We were waiting next to a group of workers having conversations twice and never did get help. Really disappointing. Selections were why we rated it a 3, they did have good selections. Still bought all our appliances from Lowes, though.

They sold me a defective lawnmower, and want to charge me to fix it. I swear I will NEVER shop home Depot again. I cannot trust their products, or even their services to fix said products. I see how they are making their money. I will just take my business to Lowes down the street. And the customer service? The man at customer service laughed at me. Totally a negative star.

Home Depot seems to be more organized than the other indoor lumber yards. Prices are about the same.

Kevin with Home Depot delivered our appliances today and damaged our walls, door handle, woodwork and scratched the fridge. He lied about speaking with my husband, showed up early without giving the 45 minute notice we were told we would get, was too small and weak to do the job, refused to wait until I unwrapped the appliances, and left us stuck with Jason at the Woodhaven store who is giving us the run around. We have been loyal customers at this store since the day it opened. In addition to a dishwasher and refrigerator we also just bought a new counter, paint, fixtures and garbage disposal. We have been treated with no regard, flippancy and as if our hard earned dollars mean nothing to them. We were not even given the courtesy of speaking with a the store manager upon request and were basically told to call a 1-800 number. Please, please, please ~ buyer beware.

Made online order via Credit Card, notified 4 items ready for pickup 25 mins later. GREAT after leaving Nearby WALMART.

Three reschedule later on a washer dryer. delivery order was wrong. took me over a month to get my appliances. not happy with costumer service. got the run around . not buying from them again.

What is said to be in stock is not true for most of their stores.

The staff are very helpful. But many report having a slow computer system and absent co-workers due to covid-19. Still, I was able to get what I needed. However, shipped items are late in coming.

I have had a bad experience with the flooring install..I was to have carpet installed with free labor but the installers refused to remove my carpet because it was “stained”.So I had to pay for it to be removed which I could not afford.Then after my install was reschedualed they never showed up or notified me.That left me in a complete mess and unsafe situation since I am 71 years old and live alone.I paid over $2000 3 months ago and still have no carpet.I regret I did not go elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars. I would. I went there today. Needed supplies to do a big home improvement project. There was employees everywhere. But, when I needed help in the power tools section. 35 minutes of waiting. Not one employee would help me. I kept asking for help. But, no one came to help. The employees just kept walking or standing around talking. Then I get to the lumber section. The lumber that I needed was out in the home spot. Pallets of it up in the high rack. Asked for help. Still, not one employee would help. The store had a lot of employees. Not one would help. I left carts full of products and went to Lowes. $5,000+ order there. Atleast they wanted to make money. Definitely will never be back. The service has gotten worse and worse. I even asked a manager for help. And nothing.

Good place to shop customer service needs alot of work

Absolutely the worst experience I have had dealing with Home Depot. We ordered carpet, which all went well. Yet the company that does the installation, CFI was ABSOLUTELY horrible. First, they never confirmed a time the day prior like they said they would. Secondly, the installer showed up over an hour later than he said he would. Third, they nicked up all of our freshly painted walls. The seams are terrible and can be seen from the beginning of our hallway. The installers did not have a vacuum so the used out Dyson vacuum like it was a shop vac. They unbelievably carpeted over our VENT!!!! I have called the installer the last 3 days with ZERO response. Management at Home Depot is telling me I have to wait for the installer to respond? DO NOT BUY CARPET HERE. HOME DEPOT was good yet CFI is the only installer they use. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!

I shop here frequently, depending on the item Im looking for and the prices advertised. There is plentiful competition in the area (Lowes, Menards, Family Farm and Home, Ace, and other hardware stores) so I go here when I can get the best price on a quality product. And since they give a military discount, its usually a decision betweenhere and Lowes. The associates are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This particular HD is always clean and parking, handicapped or otherwise, is plentiful.

Worked in Home Improvement Retail for 20 years. This is the closest one to me & my preferred location to go. Always seems like theyre staffed accordingly, I get asked if I need help and during the peak of Covid 2020 they took it upon themselves to limit customers in, had carts wiped down and read how they took initiative on taking care of their employees.Only negative is the line getting out on West Rd. Not sure what the plaza/chick-fil-a across the street will do with that added traffic.

The home Depot I went to I had to go buy a chainsaw people there are very knowledgeable.

Most of the employees are nice. & helpful but one guy in the paint dept did not know anything. We ended up spending over $400.00 & did not get the paint because the guy knew nothing

I like to pick up our air purifier machine filters here and just found a shed priced good I seen online at Woodhaven location. They have cheaply priced boxes for our unit storage unit.

Showed up to pick up my order only to be told it wasnt ready and they had no idea how long it would take to be ready. I live a hour away and the order was made the day beforand its 5pm the next day.

This place has very knowledgeable staff who will take the time to help you find what you and they will even give you suggestions about how to do your project, I talked to a staff member in tools and hardware and since I never did this project before he talked to me for nearly 45 minutes, he showed me what i needed and he steered me away from expensive tools and hardware, it was a great experience.

The curbside was very nice and they came really fast. I would go there again. They were very friendly.
