Good service at cutting counter, but Mary at checkout was not very pleasant. She yelled “register two” and while I was walking towards her and she looked at me she yelled again “REGISTER TWO!!”. She put the scanner forward for me to scan my coupon on my phone and I asked if it went through. She answered but I couldn’t hear her so i said it again and she yelled “YES”. Otherwise the experience was good.

I have NEVER sewed or used a sewing machine before, but I decided I wanted to make a big stuffed dice as a birthday gift. I was a total novice and probably asked every employee in this store at least a few dumb questions while I figured out what I needed. They were really friendly and my project turned out great, so big thanks to everyone who works here for being so nice!!

I called to ask shut sewing classes since things are opened back up again. They said no because it covid! Okay, but I feel that if you are vaccinated and its been a a month or longer since being vaccinated. You should be able to go to a sewing class!But No sewing classes, come on?????????Their should be in person sewing classes if you have been vaccinated simple lets get back to it!!!!ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff seem to be very nice and friendly, but it was hard to locate someone to assist in finding a few things. The big downfall is that they seem to not have enough employees. Most of the time there is only 1 cashier, so the check out line gets long :/

Cashier took my 40% off coupon off on the least expensive item I had which was $6 regular price. The most expensive item I had on my receipt at regular price was $30. When I questioned why my total was so high and to take the 40% off the highest priced item she assured she took it off the 40% on the item. When I looked at my receipt she took it off the $6 item. The cashier was not friendly and cold towards me. Will no longer be going this location.

Great sales. I’ve never gone here without a 40% coupon! I’ve been getting ideas for wedding flowers and will probably get them all here! There’s something for everyone here.

Joann Fabrics is not very customer friendly at checkout. We tried to make a purchase and the cashier was unfamiliar with converting a debit card to credit. The store manager was called but never made an appearance and obviously couldnt be bothered to come and assist the employee. We left the store empty handed and VERY Disappointed!! Ill not recommend the Woodbury store. We made our purchase at Michaels in Woodbury.

The prices are a shock. They do have a nice selection, if you want to over pay.

I really love this JOANN’s!!! They helped out with so much and helped my family create the perfect Christmas present for mom. Their staff is so kind! The isles are a tad small in some parts, but other than that it’s a fantastic place!!

Cashiers were pleasant enough. Line to check out was long and slow with only two registers open. I came into return something and had to join the que with other customers. This is definitely not my favorite store.

I dont normally shop at this location, this is much larger, but aisles are very small, I felt very cramped and social distancing was a bit harder. The fabric area is incredibly sprawled out and it was hard to find what I needed. There was one young worker who was incredibly helpful about finding things. The cashier I went to totally sanitized everything and the credit card area before I went through, so that was a comfort. As she was ringing up my items about 10 rang up at the wrong price and that was annoying, I had to watch each item, to make sure I was being charged correctly, incorrect charging is a huge per peeve of mine and drives me insane.

This store was amazing! Having a fantastic sale. Got candy canes that light up for my yard buy 1 get 2 free. Cant beat that. Store was very clean and lots of staff to help you if you needed it.

Havent been to this location in a while. I ended up having to wait for someone to help me, when the item I wanted was locked in place. Not a fan.

Went in to buy fabric to make blankets. Fabric had a sign claiming to be 70% off. I brought my sheets up to the counter, and was rung up for a total of 72 dollars. I questioned what had happened to the sale, and was told there was no sale. Already drove there and really needed the fabric so I purchased anyway. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

Fairly decent experience except when it came to checking out on a Friday afternoon..I was in line for at least 20. So items are quite expensive but fabrics was stocked nicely. Employees were very nice

If youre getting cut fabric, get a number right away... lines can get very long. Great sales; always use a coupon or 4!

I shop this location often and I love it everyone is great but one employee has become my favorite. She remembers my purchase from a month ago and checks how its going along.

Cashier answered the phone and walked away with me standing, waiting right at her register after having waited in line to get there. I left and went to Michaels.

I didnt realize they have kids toys and games! This place is awesome. Plus the wife loves it here.

Consistently the worst experience. I’ve been here about three times in the last month and Ive always had to wait 15+ minutes to checkout. The store is filthy, shelves arent stocked. Its a hot mess express.

Joann is the land time forget--i dont think any maintenance has been completed on the stor since the 80s. However, the staff is friendly, the selection is great and the prices are good.

Selection of jelly rolls was very poor, this was one of the things I came for.

I would literally give them a zero if I could. I had to wait in the check out lane to return something. Never will I be going back to Joanns.

As with many businesses these days, it feels kind of like a war zone. Shelves are half empty. There are big holes of things missing. I feel for them and others who are having difficulty accessing even the basics.

I like the variety of product at JoAnns. Wish I could order more fabric selections online or for pick up. Fabric cutters are always swamped. They are courteous, but there just arent enough for the demand

I went on a Sunday and I only saw 3 people working, one at the checkout and by the time I left there was quite the line. It was just a okay experience, nothing spectacular and everything is expensive.

Have to wait through the entire cash line to get a pickup order. Efficiency is low here.

The staff at this location have always been extremely helpful and friendly. Cut counter moves quickly. Registers are also very efficient.

Great, big, clean, and well stocked store right along the border of MN and WI. Great selections of; fabrics with plenty of printed designs, color variations of ribbons and lace spools, and other various crafter supplies. You have to take a number and wait to have your fabrics cut but I utilize this time to browse supplies I might be in need of. Positive employee and other shoppers interactions every time I go there.

Will never order from online through Joann.com,I let my wife use my card to order her Cricket mug press and accessories online but Joann.com charged my card twice, once as hold for money and then charged my card again once the item shipped, mean while my card is now missing nearly $500 for a $199 item plus few accessories and now I’m just expected to wait for my refund back on the one charge cuz it maybe a hold but it’s still not available to spend on my bills or other things I need my own money forThis just just criminal theft!

The store is absolutely disorganized and ran down. The bathroom was disgusting and so were the floors and shelves for that matter. Items scattered all over the place. Not sure why this store is allowed to carry the name. Disorganized, dirty and not alot of fun. Period!

They advertise that they Have curbside pickup, (They even have a big sign on the building) but they dont answer the phone when you get there.

The overpriced items in the store are frequently tempered by deals and coupons. Today however the sales associate and the manager refused to honor the coupon as stated.

5/30 Well organized, clean, sale items well marked. Busy, well staffed, had 4 or 5 registers open. Social distancing markings some people followed the markings.

Really full of stuff but not in a useful way (and more full than one normally is). There is a whole cutting station that isnt open.

Plan extra time for check out, they are doing the best they can. The employees left are top notch!

I love this Joanns. So clean and organized. A lot of the customers here give the cashiers specifically a hard time. It is not their fault that the line is backed up!! Th cashiers here have the best customer service and always make sure to ask for my rewards. I don’t even mind waiting in line because they’re so friendly.

My Saturday visit to the Woodbury Joanns was more successful than my Sunday visit to the Maplewood Joanns. The Woodbury Joanns had more of the items i was looking for but while at a competitors store today (Sunday)some of the items i got at the Woodbury Joanns on Saturday were about a $1 cheaper at the competitors store. For fabric though Joanns is the go to.

The two employees I spoke with were friendly and helpful but the store is dirty and dumpy. I haven’t been to this store for about a year. Couldn’t find anything I wanted, quit carrying a lot of supplies that I was buying here, stepping on candy wrappers, looked down and you can tell it hadn’t been swept for a long time. Manager must not care about appearance.0 Had a difficult time finding something to use my $10 gift card on. Nope, I’ll go to Hobby Lobby instead, it’s clean and has a welcoming atmosphere unlike Joann’s.

Whatever you do dont go there Saturday morning to buy fabric. Long line. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Except for fabrics most of the items should be found at Walmart or Amazon at low prices. Hobby Lobby has better varieties (not fabric).

One of the messiest Joann fabrics Ive ever visited. Ive visited multiple times and the silk flower area is a disaster. I thought it was just temporary but it is the same every time.

They were extremely busy today 9 March 2019. Even with the abundance of customers the staff was nice and answered all the questions I had. There was a very long line, but once you were in line the wait wasnt long at all. They ensured to open up registers to accommodate the amount of customers. Everything was clean and kept up, I went to a specific section and all items were in their places and were not strewn about. Overall it was a great shop and will return

We were there as first time costume designers for our Halloween costumes. Everyone was extremely enthusiastic and helpful and supportive of our projects. Our costumes ended up looking great thanks to their guidance and expertise. Would recommend for an DIYers trying out a new craft.
