This place doesnt seem to care about who they hire! Probably pick their employees up off the corner in the ghetto! This business or management wont last long! And I would rate this less than 1 star if that was possible! Absolute trash.....

I shouldnt even give this ONE star but I did because one customer service rep was decent, Brittany but the manager Anita WAS THE WORST. She kept belittling Brittany who was actually trying to help. I will NEVER go in to that store again if that manager is there. By the way I DID NOT get my problem solved.

Go there for browsing, not for shopping! The store is great if you want to see and touch the various Apple products, but it seems that Apple wants you to buy from their online store. They have employees waiting near the door to greet you and show you around, but if you want to buy you have to make an appointment with a specialist and wait, and wait (in our case an hour and 15 minutes). That was Monday early afternoon, not a time when the store should be too busy.

Brought my computer to get it fixed and they took forever and sent it home still broken. They managed to run out my warranty. This place is the absolute worst and so is Apple. Every single Apple product I own has been nothing but trouble.

Horrible place. Rude employees. Also the phone number on their site is for the main Apple office and not that location so if you ever wanna call before you go, you simply cannot. I was placed on hold by the main office for over 30 mins of them trying to find the right number and failed. I walked in and 4 employees are not helping anyone but won’t even talk to me cause I don’t have an appointment, even though I explained that I couldn’t get through and I know what I want, all they have to do is grab the box from the bag. They won’t move!! Unbelievable.

They were no help. Came in with phone and AirPods acting up, couldn’t help me with either. Didn’t even run diagnostic, looked at the phone and said I’d have to pay $550 for repair. My phone is in mint condition. Rep over the phone helped me more remotely. Jake, Johnny whatever your name is— shouldn’t work here.

This store has horrible horrendous service. From manager to the staffs . Especially manager name Mike. not having a basic understanding of their rules and regulations. I walk in to get a phone and they reserve the phone for and my appt were at 11:15 am and I was there 10:30. One the stuff came and try to bring my phone out but the manager Mike stop her and told her my appt is at 11:15 and I should wait . I don’t mind waiting but his attitude were rude. Plus there were not lots of customers so they were doing anything . But I had to run somewhere and come back my appt time but. They told me as long as I come by closing time I should get my phone and stays reserved under my name . And then I left and came back to store around 5 pm to pick up my order but they told me they sold to someone else . Even that they told me once they reserve under my name stays til I come back before they closed . This is unprofessional, I do own a business too this should be run better way. We not buying a phones for free we pay high money we should get treat right . I am really upset fact that the manager Mike should knew the rules and regulations. This is the horrible horrible customer service .

Made an appointment first thing in the morning, showed up early and still waited to be assisted. We knew what we wanted but kept being upsold and pressured to get additional services we did not want or need. Our specialist was energetic and intended to be helpful, but wasted our time with the constant breathless salesmanship masquerading as techno-speak. As loyal customers the sales staff should realize we’re not dumb, we know what we want, and the only reason we’re walking into the store is because we’re recycling devices more for the ecological benefit than the pittance we’d get in monetary incentives. After relieving us of a couple thousand dollars she dumped us to the side for someone else to assist with the finishing touches (screen protector application) to rush off to the next sale. Such routine transactions should not be so emotionally draining.

Was not impressed by the lack of help and customer service of this store. I have never had an experience like this at an Apple Store. Walked in without an appointment and was basically told by a staff member that they are busy and no one can assist you. If you need something, go to our website. Then we were ignored by all staff. Ended up ordering our products online that took weeks to get to us when we could have picked them up that day at the store.

EXCELLENT Experience!!! Highly recommend this location. Service went a LOT better then first expected after reading reviews. Both technicians, Christian and David, were very helpful and kind. Ran in for a battery replacement for a XS Max. Was in and out in the next 10 or 15 minutes while leaving the phone to be serviced on, took no more then an hour to replace. The measures taken for COVID-19 are spot on, I was very comfortable.

Never Again! I usually extend grace and give the benefit of the doubt because times are tough and were all going through. But this is one of the worst shopping and customer (dis)service experiences Ive had to date.I attempted to purchase a new MacBook Pro in store with plans to buy another Apple product. I had an appointment for a purchase and data transfer from my 7 year old MacBook Air to a new laptop. Because Im military and getting ready to leave the country, again, I had a very tight timeline in which to work (note: Im visiting family, so this is the only time and closest Apple store location to do this sort of in-store transaction).Anna (and Chelsea), the sales rep assigned to me, and the only reason this review isnt a 1 star, was great and even asked if I wanted to apply the military and veterans discount. I agreed, but learned that they dont give you the full discount in store, only online (bummer!). I purchased my first MacBook at Best Buy and they applied the full discount in-store, so this was news to me.Anna had to take a lunch break, so I initiated the process of purchasing my laptop, via the Apple Military service site, using one of the store computers. Because I forgot my Apple ID password and my only other Apple device (an iPad) is locked, I needed to borrow a store tablet. For whatever reason, the store manager (different than the young lady assigned to help me with the purchase) was quite dismissive. In fact, he rolled his eyes at me when I waved to ask for his assistance. And when I told him I forgot my Apple ID, he didnt think to let me borrow a tablet or phone in store (one of the Apple ID reset options at the iforgot Apple site). Instead, he directed me to call and speak with Apple Care to have the issue resolved. Fair option, but as a sales associate/manager and probable Apple user, I would think Im not the first person to come in the store with an Apple ID reset that could be easily resolved in-house. And given this area, I know Im not the first military affiliated customer to enter the store and request that discount.I called Apple Care and when I got around to asking someone to borrow a store device to reset my ID so that I could purchase a new laptop, not only did I have to wait more than 20 minutes from the time of my request, I was harassed by one of the guys handing out face masks at the front of the store. Mind you I was wearing my mask, I was 6 feet away from people, alone at the end of the genius bar on the other side of the store from where this guy was.But he alleged that the store manager asked me to fix my mask and he threatened to call security on me. Ladies and gentlemen, the store manager never spoke to me about my mask and I had my mask on, covering my nose, mouth, chin and cheeks. Not sure why he was so rude to me, but it was totally uncalled for. And to make matters worse, I still hadnt been assisted with a tablet to reset my AppleID Password at this point.While talking on the phone with Apple Care, after approaching another sales rep for a tablet (who ended up asking the same guy who rolled his eyes at me earlier), the Apple Care rep asked me, I dont understand, are they not wanting to assist you? Do they not want to help? and I lost my resolve. I gathered my items and immediately left the store, fighting back the tears because thats truly how it felt. Like I was an inconvenience and not a customer.I wasted 2 hours of my limited time in this store and walked away empty handed with a headache. Im a mother of two small children, sleep deprived and preparing to move overseas. My stress is already at an all time high, and this experience left the most sour taste in my mouth.I wish I could say I would purchase another Apple product elsewhere, but Im too weary. Not only do I not want to deal with dismissive people, I no longer have time to purchase a laptop and transfer data because I have to wait 10 days for permission to reset my Apple ID, which could have been resolved in less than 5 minutes in-store had someone been willing to help.

Garbage scheduling as usual. Literally drove an hour and a half after being told they had the item in stock that I was interested in, only to be turned away at the door saying that they closed in 15 minutes and that theyre still requiring appointments even though I was told they arent by the Apple support line and the website. Id be more understanding if anyone at the location seemed to be concerned about their business customers.

This place has it all. You can find the coolest new technology and gadgets as well as some small home goods items such as surround sound speakers, Star Wars toys, and Nest smart home products, such as the Nest thermostat. They always have helpful staff at this place and usually visits can go pretty quickly even on Saturdays when most folks are out and about. Were glad that we have this Apple Store so close to us as opposed to trying to commute out to Fair Oaks Mall. This is truly a gem of an amenity and a welcome addition to the local Woodbridge area.

Went in to buy my wife an iPad and was told I had to make an appointment, which was 3 hours later. Many of the employees were not helping customers and just standing around. Hard to believe no one was able to help me buy an iPad. Would have taken 10 minutes tops. Also the employees were very uninterested and unpleasant. They seemed like they could care less about helping me. I will never be going back to that store again. Ill get my products elsewhere.Update: as you could have guessed it NO one from this store even reached out. If you can shop elsewhere.

After my most recent encounter at Apple, I am extremely happy with my decision to never buy another Apple product again. I was there to exchange a gift that a family member gave me. I first checked online to make a reservation - there were none. I then called the store and spoke with a staff member the day before I came in to exchange the gift. I was told to come in since it was a swap and I had the receipt.I came to the Apple store, explained what Id been told, and preceded to wait. The young man who checks people in at the front desk was rude, did not ask to see my receipt, assumed he knew what I needed but assumed incorrectly, did not listen to me when I explained what I needed, and then proceeded to get who I presume was the manager. This individual was at least respectful, listened, and understood what I was asking. However, he could not help because it is now apparently the policy of Apple to not do exchanges. I was told they could give me store credit for the returned item and I would probably have to pay the difference if the prices changed (this item was still in the window for an exchange by the way). I left frustrated and gave the item back to the family member who purchased the gift for me to exchange. She was told the same thing and in the end, asked for a full refund to the card she was charged and gave the product back.The entire experience was frustrating and felt shady. I have a Mac and am afraid of what to do if I need help with it. Its evident I cant go to this location to get help. If someone shows up with a receipt and an unopened item in the return window time frame, and the item they need is physically in the store, I dont understand the foolishness with needing to return the item, get store credit, then come back in 30 minutes as I was told, rebuy the same item at what could potentially be a different price (this according to the staff). If the new policy is no exchanges ever, only store credit, that should be stated somewhere. Clearly this cant really be the case because they were able to give a refund. Ive never had a great experience at Apple stores and that will be my last interaction with buying their products.

Terrible experience for Genius Bar. Came 30 min early and was told I had to come back within 5 min. Sure. Came back and had to wait an additional 40 minutes. Bought my Mac a few months ago and was told it wasn’t included in the 1 year warranty and had to pay almost $500 to get it fixed. Wasn’t told they were gonna wipe my memory so that came as a great surprise when I got it back. Disgusting experience. This will be my last apple product.

Very clean and the stores procedure for COVID is good. I was able to get a reservation and replacement iwatch within minutes. Not perfect because the minor defects in trying to return old technology eliminates or decreases the value of the item that they are going to recycle anyway.

I had a 245pm appointment, I leave to make it early, yet unfortunately I hit traffic and am less than 10 minutes late. Its hot, I had to park far, and carry a heavy iMac. There is no way for me to contact the store to let them know Im on the way or something, so I get there hoping they can fit me in. Nope. I wait 20 minutes to be told I missed my appointment.... Im now told to go drive a hour to another store where they MIGHT be able to fit me in today. I just called them and they have no availability... I just wanted to drop it off for repairs, but it took longer for them to tell me no, you were a few minutes late so please try again... This is the last Apple product I will ever own, cant trust the service or repair services. Computerless through Covid, and now just due to a 5 minute delay because of idiots on the road Im unable to get my iMac fixed...

Went there on time, was told to be on hold yet waited for almost an hour for service but no specialist was that concerned for me until after i asked and eventually got me thru a guy who was swapped out from a previous shiftit was odd being it my first experience esp getting a screen repair servicei wasnt even notified to pickup for the phone they said it would be due specifically an hour lateri eventually went back an hour late from that due time without even an emaila front door support who was kind, just like the genius support man who diagnosed the phoneIf not for a portion of the staff who actually was competent with help, i wouldnt have graded it atleast 3 starsthe fact that people have to juggle in a rush while theres people on delay goes to show the pace has to adjust towards suiting one customer at a time cause whats the point of haste, im aware its the infrastructure lifestyle that makes ppl so jit but DAN can you guys please have some concern for adequacy and deliberate flow

Wonderful experience today at this Apple Store!! Impressed by their effort towards social distancing and sanitizing. They were able to reset my iPod and also replace a battery in my iPhone while I went next door and had a nice meal at Firebirds. Will go back to this location. Highly recommend it.

I was there two hours total for the purchase of a iphone12. The person that “helped me” or started helping me was pulled away while the update was being done. I needed my Apple Watch set up as well, and that never happened! After being passed around to two other helpers, I left and I still don’t have an Apple Watch that is unpaired and paired. I have an IPhone 7 that stopped communication with the cellular services. This is a KNOWN issue Apple is aware of and they issued a recall to fix it. Mine just broke, I went to T-Mobile who told me to see the Apple Tech at Best Buy, Best Buy Apple Tech told me to make an appointment online with the Woodbridge Apple store and they would fix and or replace it since Apple knows it’s their problem. After driving 40 minutes to the store, standing in line with my son for 20 mins, they Apple Representative said they won’t fix it now as it’s been past 3 years since original purchase even though they know it’s a defect in the phone. Their solution; spend another $500+ on a new phone. No thanks - I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

This store has been horrible with accommodating during the winter storms. I got to this store door at 7:05 pm due to traffic from my area I literally got to the door and they told me to come back the next day, which was a snow storm and I live almost 40 miles away. I was told later they could have shipped my repair directly to my house but Instead I am chasing their store hours during this winter mess. No sympathy what so ever. It has been 2 weeks of off and on weather and I still don’t have my laptop because I can’t get back out this store that I only used bc the pentagon was closed. Call customer care, tell them to allow you to ship your repair to them and have them ship it back!! I was totally misled and I’m still disappointed.

I was here yesterday after lunch in the area and wanted to stop by and was surprised to be asked if I had a appointment. Wow. Epic fail costumer service I have ever experienced after paying over 2000 buck for a laptop and accessories. Their system failed to email a receipt, then I never received a cable I paid for, then spent half a morning with customer support on the phone. Was told the part would take a day two to order and someone from Apple Potomac Town Center would reach out to me after the part arrives. Fast toward 6 days, reach out to the store and the part had not been ordered. Going on almost two weeks now and I still don’t have my computer fixed. Poor customer service, better luck at another Apple store where you don’t have to check in and hold their hand to make sure they are doing their jobs. Will think twice about buying another Apple product next time...

What a joke. iPhone X battery needed replacement. Used battery app on phone to make an appointment a week away. Wait to get in store, and then 20 minutes while tech determines I need a new battery. Then Im told they have to order a battery and Ill have to come back. Really? Isnt that why I went through all these hoops? Spoke with Manager (Charles) who couldnt care less, and made no attempt to make it right. They dont deserve my business or yours. Awful customer service. Went to return an item on 10.15 just to be greeted by one of the so-called-geniuses by barking at me that I needed an appointment to even get close to the store. When I explained that I wanted to return a purchase and I did not need to come into the store, he barked at me again to move by the entrance of the store. The manager, Rick (Rich?) noticed the rude employee and apologized on his behalf. It would have been nice for the employee to apologize himself. Great experience during this pandemic. Went with my daughter who had an appt at the Genius Bar. They screened us outside asking about Covid symptoms, if we had any. We went inside and they took our temperature and walked us back to the genius bar. Our tech was very knowledgeable and we followed the one way traffic signs on the floor back to the front door. Plenty of hand sanitizer around, and mandatory masks of course.

On my third visit to Apple, they did not even have it recorded in their system, and wanted me to wait an hour to be seen. Upon my protest that this was my third visit, and I DID have an appointment, they sent me to their manager. I had been quoted $99 on my first visit to repair / replace device of the back cracked glass.They proceeded to quote me $279 and then a shocking $549 to replace the phone. I guess the major misunderstanding is that I was under “Apple’s Limited Warranty” and not under “Apple Care” which I had thought I was. Why it took 3 visits to be informed is... shall we say special?I am generally a big Apple guy, but wow... this is my first truly frustrating Apple experience. Will be careful on my next visit.

I just got my screen fixed and it was a pretty in and out process. No wait time. Only problem I was kinda upset about is after I was going to trade in my Iphone 8 plus they only quoted me $250, as the ad makes you feel like your going to get back. Have used this Apple Store routinely when I need to pickup something quickly. Prefer the Short-pump location—although it’s further away—simply because the Richmond location keeps me pointed south and far, far away from DC area traffic. For my part, I have always found the service at the Potomac Town Centre professional and knowledgeable whenever I’ve stopped there....

I go in for a phone repair. My warranty expired 11/9 and i went in on 11/30. So I made the mistake of going in late to repair my phone. Phone was $1400 and the warranty I never used was another $150. I felt I could have been granted some sort of courtesy and exception. I have a over 43 active devices on my account with apple a business account. I;m not the customer that goes in and argues. So Im considering limiting my purchases with Apple start to transition to another brand. Apple could have handled the situation much better in my opinion.

The staff never came up to me and my family when we had entered the store . Everyone else was greeted but us . When we came in, we knew exactly what we wanted and when I asked a guy nearby he didn’t even pay attention to us, I had to repeat myself to him. He finally came over and asked us if we needed help . The lady that gave us the phone was really nice and helpful. She knew what she was doing .

Actually five stars times two! Huge Thank you to Charles and whole tech team for their patience, kindness and expertise. Mr Charles managed to save my data, set up new phone( with update) and walk me through new features- got there at 5:30. Left a 8pmHis shift ended at six but he stayed until my phone was completely set up. Thank you

Went in for a repair I had my appointment and somebody showed up to help me His name was Johnny I’m not sure if I have spelled it correctHe’s not professional and he can’t solve your problem. He wasted one hour of my time And then he was asking on question which doesn’t make sense And then he brought his other colleague and he was also backing up as a logical questionI’m sure there are good people and bad people but let me be honest on today’s date February 27 afternoon None of them were there to help any customer they were just wasting the time There were people sitting in the bar to to be helped But they were just gathering 2 to 3 people and they were just wasting time.

I had a pretty ok experience here. I feel finding the parking isn’t tough unless there’s some other festival going on in the shopping center.The employees are 50/50 shot. There are some good manners, some careless and overall they’re driven by sales.If you’ve got warranty then they try to limit ideas of replacing new. But guess what if you got no warranty all of a sudden BAM! There’s a great sale today. Get a new phone. Upgrade it. This old one has many problems. Expensive repair quote.Though I’ll give credit to Apple for at least fixing people’s battery during the recall for a lower cost. It took someone to expose Apple but at least it was done.

The most absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced from a company I’ve spent thousands on! They staff is super unprofessional. A bunch of kids and young adults hanging out the front end talking about drinking and partying for the weekend when there is customers waiting to be assisted. I was told my phone was going be ready in a hour after dropping it off. I walked in at the respected time given. Allowing just an additional 15min to finish up. An hour later I am at this point Furious. I was asked did I communicate it to the right person. As if I can tell the difference in who is the right person. Being that they all wear the exact same shirt. An hour goes pass and they just bring me my phone and say okay let me know if you need help and then just walks away. As I am searching for help no one is attentive. AND MY PHONE IS STILL NOT WORKING PROPERLY!!!!!! I am beyond done with their lack of customer support and service!

Fantastic service today. A Verizon store told me that my iPhone 6s would not ring or give audible notifications because Apple stopped supporting its software, and tried to sell me a new phone. At the Apple store, the employee listened to what was wrong and fixed the problem in a few minutes. Honest, excellent service. Fantastic!!!

As soon as my son and I walked in Justin made contact with us. He was with another customer and told us it would be only a moment and he could come see to our needs. Justin was very helpful showing us how to go through Apples site to have my sons phone reset. He pulled up the site on one of the many laptops available and walked us through the process. I am not a tech savvy person at all so his guidance was really appreciated.

Although the employees are really helpful and friendly but they make you feel like theyre watching you suspiciously. Its very common and almost all the other shoppers do that. But particularly employees in this location made it too obvious for the customer to notice.
