This Indian grocery store is very convenient for a quick stop and urgent needs. The produce is always fresh and reasonable. The reason I gave a four star is due to unavailability of some brands and size of groceries. I understand its a small store. However, if they expand their brand based on customers needs, they will get more business.
I am a Regular here, they have great competitive prices on most big brands. Friendly staff and always add new items based on customer requests.
I live in Michigan for last 20 years and moved to lyon charter township six years ago,we get most of my indian groceries such as spices, and indian vegetables from little India Grocers since we moved.Their produce are fresh and good. The staffs and the owners are really kind and nice, they offer good service.
I would love to give them 5 star. However, lack of pricing on shelfs and packages is a bit annoying. Good to see that they do pick up the phone and answer questions.
They sell all itemsMore prices everything for example if you spend 9$ 3$ is their profit everything 30 cents more even biscuits which is 50c worth they sell 70 cents not recommended regular customers never come again if they know this thing.
We have been using this store since it has opened and it is one of if not the best Indian store in the Novi area. Very nice people and very good products. A lot better than Patel Brothers.
Reasonable prices for Indian groceries, selection could be larger. We get most items for our household.
I Had been shopping here, since we live in the community next to it. it was always easy and expensive trip here. Not happy with the products, unless you need one off product. I am glad that we have Sai Groceries opened up on 10 mile and beck road, worth every trip.
Selection very limited, Not Friendly & Expensive!!
I am very glad this market has opened up in this part of town. The location is perfect, parking plentiful, and access is easy. Little India is off to a fantastic start. The store is clean, well-stocked, well-organized, and the family that owns it are exceptionally friendly and in helping me find items. The gentleman whom I spoke with even asked me what items I would like to see brought into the store. In the meantime, Little India has all the products that I need, that I cannot find in ordinary markets. I highly recommend this place enthusiastically.
This is nice and clean place with very many options for Indian vegetables. Infact they have much better options compared few other stores in Farmington.
You get fresh vegetables and also variety in them. Good staff and service.
Friendly and honest people with all the essential and desi items. We started our grocery purchase from here when we moved here in Novi/Wixom/Walled lake area
Well maintained
Recently with management change this place is improved and stocked up with the items needed.
For the size of the store there are good amount of options available here.
Good collection and very good Diwali sale discount of Indian grocery items
This is a very small store tucked in the corner. The store is stocked with hundreds of items and hard to find foods at a fair price but watch out for the expiration dates. I found many items that are on or past the dates best used by.
Will give them a 3 stars just coz I get a number of things I crave for from India in the store. However the staff are not particularly friendly (Especially the women). They will see you struggling to open the door with kids in tow and keep on walking away instead of offering to at least open the door for you. Is it their responsibility? Not really. However common courtesy and customer service would dictate you to give a hand. Woah unto you if you have to return an item! Rudeness personified. Why are you operating a store in America and behaving like we are back home in India? Customer is king in the US and I think they need to remember that
Fresh produce is really good most of the times. They could improve by stocking more variety of products.
Its kinda small shop with basic groceries. We dont find much varieties with vegetables, pulses, masala etc. You do find few frozen sweets, tofu & few Pooja items. Limited products but great service. Thank you.
I have been at this store a few times now and the service is horrible and they stock expired products. I have seen them wiping off expiry dates on products, but because of the treatment after my most recent visit I am forced to write this review. The experience I had recently was uncalled for. I bought some masalas made by Shan and they were all varying in prices. At the time of check out I asked why they were all different prices. The lady at the counter said it was due to product. I said at other indian stores they are all the same price usually. Instead of having a nice conversation with a customer, she SNAPS back with wide eyes trying to intimidate me and says do you want the items or not. I was totally caught off guard and responded that that was not a way to treat a customer. They treat you like they do not want your business. FRIENDS OR NIEGHBHORS IF U WANT GOOD FRESH FOOD PLEASE GO TO ANY OTHER INDIAN STORE, IF YOU GOBHERE YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED WITH RESPECT. IF YOU WANT TO RUN A BUSINESS PLEASE LEARN SOME ETIQUETTE IN TREATING CUSTOMERS. MY MONEY WILL GO TO ANOTHER BUSINESS BUT NOT YOURS!!!!
Pretty decent grocery place. For a start, they have all the basic needs. Need to expand the choices of items. Please encourage more healthier and home made food rather than processed food. The owners/staff are very friendly.
Usually excellent! Sometimes cant find some items though.
I love the place. It was a great place to get all my Indian things which get hefty after a few days being the one of the greatest indians and I barely even drive. Place is great and I love the service.💯💯👌🏽👌🏽🔥🔥
Good selection and courteous service
Great Indian store with fresh produce and a wide variety of items. I thought the prices for several items were more reasonable than a lot of other Indian stores in the area. Will continue shopping in this store.
This is a very small store, but have good selection. I like going here because its so close to where I live.
Not friendly, not helpful, no frozen meat entrees. No good fresh snacks by the pound or a very good selection of anything unless you are looking for pickles, boxed mixed masala, spices.
Good for the size of the store
Nice place to get Indian grocery. They pretty much have everything you need. They also sell meat.
This was my first time there. It is small and a little hidden. I found the spice I was looking for at a very nice price.
Friendly staff and you can get most of the items you typically find at an Indian store.
Worst costumes survive ever . We were on the line n 2 girls were working n they didn’t even come to ccounter for 15 min .. never going back there again
I live 2 miles from this place so I am a frequent customer - not anymore. I purchased 2 containers of dosa batter from here a couple of weeks ago. It was a new brand they were carrying so I thought I would give it a try.Yesterday, I opened the containers, they were both spoiled. The sell by date on the containers was MORE THAN ONE MONTH from the date I opened them. I immediately took them back to the store, explained what happened and also explained that I came to the store in the middle of making dinner - my family was all home and hungry. Instead of simply providing me with an even exchange (they were less than $5/container), I had the hardest time getting replacements. Since this was a new brand and I had a poor experience, I asked if I could simply get the other, familiar brand (Priyems) as a replacement. I was told no, I could not, despite the fact that it was cheaper). They went to the back of the store to find the other brand and gave it as a replacement. I was hesitant because the sell by date on the new containers was the same as the spoiled ones, which I pointed out. I was told to open the container right there to confirm it was ok. When I opened it, it did not look good to me, it also looked spoiled, which I told the clerk. I was told I was wrong and that since the container was open, I now had to take it. I had to fight to get a Priyems for the second replacement container. I had to purchase a 2nd Priyems (3rd overall) to make sure I had enough for everyones dinner that night. I expressed my frustration and told them that the situation was not handled well from a customer service standpoint. The clerk told me that they have no way of knowing how I had stored the containers, implying I had not stored them properly in the fridge (which I had). Incidentally, when I got home, I opened the container to show my husband (without telling him what had happened) and he - independently said that the new replacement container looked spoiled. I will not be going back to this store - which is unfortunate since it is so close to my home.
Ok Indian grocer. The vegetable selection looks fresh. Many items do not have a price (a pricing gun could easily fix that or more shelf tags) and some canned goods do not have an expiration date.
Convenient location. Good service. Nice Indian grocery store.
Good and convininet place for Indian Grocery, Recently open still have decent choice. I am sure over time will get more choice.
A new Indian store . They do not have lot of options. May be it will improve once lot of Indian folks start to shop at the store
Nice place. You will find all your needs
Essential items for use by Indians are available including meat
Taking advantage of customers. They doubled price of rice due to corona.Didn’t give cash use discount as they knew many people coming.
Nice store for Indian Product, Vegitables and Desi Snacks like Samosa etc.
The location is perfect and they are amazing. They didn’t have much North Indian choices when they started and they were very receptive about my feedback and next time I came around I got in all MDH masala powers, mothers pickles, tandoori naan, Nanak products and amul ghee!! I do miss SWAD products!! Just so amazing. I love this store thanks a lot for avoiding my trips all the way to Patel’s at Farmington Hills. Being a resident of Brighton it was indeed so helpful. They have great choices. Isles are very clean. They have many brands available and some new ones too like Maiya’s, Amma’s . Some items are little expensive but they are always willing to price match if you let them. Also they are willing to get you something which is not there. They did that to me helped me on couple occasions. They also can take orders for parties and special occasions if you need those rotis, Puran poli(sweet roti), samosa and mirchi baji (battered fried chilli) That’s what I loved about too them.Love the store. I have never got puran poli to order except at Krishna’s catering!! Also if you live somewhere in any of these cities - Wixom/novi/Brighton/South Lyon/New Hudson/Milford areas this is the only Indian store. So go ahead and check’em out. Family run business and woman run business.Keep up the great work little India store.!! :-)
Good places only prize little high, and vegetables are too much high from another grosary store, wish they think
Very nice staff and fresh food unlike other Indian stores.

The staff is friendly but they need to pay attention to the food items. They have lot of expired food items. One time we even got an open (seal was broken) chutney container.
