Everyone there was super nice and professional. They have a great selection to choose from, to rent and to buy. My sister and I went to practice and Carl was super helpful and knowledgeable, and gave us great recommendations. Will definitely be returning again!

Our instructor was Mike, as this was my first personal weapon he made me feel that I could handle it safely. He made the class informative as well as adding humor where it was appropriate. I now feel that I can handle my weapon safely and understand how to keep my family safe with a weapon in the house. I cannot thank him enough.

Very informative, instructor answered questions with ease and the range time was very helpful for me. The building is very clean and organized. If you havent been there you should stop in. I guarantee you wont leave with all your money. LOL.

Went with a group of 5 guys today and they folks at Point Blank were all great there from the sign in to the sales Personal and range officer its was a smooth process that we all enjoyed . We will for sure be back again .

I was very impressed with their vast selection of top tier firearms (Daniel Defense, Sig, Etc), and full inventory of ammo. Everybody was outgoing and friendly and very quick to assist with my shopping needs. Matt was very knowledgeable, patient & professional!

Nice range, clean and great prices . However charging a first time ranger shooters a 5 dollar fee to get entered into their computer system is a little dirty, especially when you dont tell them before hand. Nice range and store but doubt Ill be back

Enjoyed my experience learning safe use of firearm and how to load cartridges very much. Would highly recommend class to others.

The sales group are very nice and accommodating. They take the time to show you all the features of the firearm. The store has an awesome collection of firearms.Now the range group are nice until you bring your own ammo and not buy their overpriced collection. I used to be a basic member and I wanted to rent 3 different caliber pistols. The renting agent made sure to see all my ammo upon check in. Now each time I returned one, they asked me to bring the ammo from the range to the counter again. They made sure to be curt and one of them was borderline rude. I showed him Federal Premium ammo in brand new boxes and he said Did you repack this ammo??....Really!!!

Class was very helpful and informative. Covered the critical points of how to handle, field strip, sight in, clean, manage jams and misfeed. It was also really great to have actual range time to enforce class room concepts. The instructor, Adam, did a nice job explaining and answering questions. Was also very helpful on the range show us how. I highly recommend.

Very professional and helpful. They were so patient when people had issues with their weapons. The staff did not rush anyone and took their time to explain and help. I was very impressed and I will be back!

Excellent class and Excellent Instructors. They took the time to explain the mechanics of the firearm; how to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the firearm; and, provide excellent instruction on the range. I would highly recommend this course and Shoot Point Blank Wixom!

I took my 20-year-old nephew there to shoot and they would not let him shoot due to the fact that he was not 21 and I was not his legal guardian. Funny to learn how he has shot there before he’s the one I suggested we go there. They charged me $10 to allow him to WATCH me shoot! Really? They had lots of Ammos and when I went to purchase a box of 9 mm they told me that this will leave residue in my gun and will shoot fire also asked me if I wanted to upgrade? The target holders on the Range are very mediocre and basic-no programs. The place is new, it’s clean -not sure I’m gonna be back there anytime soon.

I recently bought a new rifle from this location. The staff was very helpful and helped me pick out one that I liked. I am taking my CPL class there next week and am expecting the staff to be just as helpful and professional as they were the first time I came in. Definitely a good spot to check out! Nice selection, very clean, friendly service, but a bit pricey.

I bought a gun here but Ill be the last time I buy anything here. The staff is completely two faced when customers walk away from them and will have no problem talking behind your back. They also seem to like to walk around and try to smell weed on customers and have this hand signal to tell the seller the customers has to be denied. Will even ask for id just to buy a mag. Guess thats what you get with big chain gun stores.

The instructors were very knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions from the class. We had an opportunity to go hands on with the internal parts of the AR. They covered all the topics that I was looking to learn about. The class progressed at a pace that I was comfortable with.There were extra hands available during the range work. I wish I had remembered to bring my scope with me, as the instructors would have been able to help me sight it in. I look forward to another class at Shoot Point Blank in the future.

I have purchased multiple items from the Wixom store and found everyone very friendly and helpful. I purchased a firearm, ammo, gun safe and have used the range. Their supply of firearms was nice, I was looking for a certain firearm and this was the only place I could find it. Doing the paperwork, etc, was quick. If I had one area I dont like, the fees are to expensive for a transfer license.

Best place to buy anything firearm related. Special shout out to the management staff for always taking care of the customer. Brett and Sarah are the best and very knowledgeable! Be sure to get a membership pays for itself right away:) see you all soon!!!

We walked in with a party of 4 today, everyone was very helpful! From behind the counter picking guns to shoot to giving us pointer on how to be more accurate hitting the target! It was a fun experience I definitely recommend and we will be back!

This newly opened Gun Shop is Top Notch. Every person working here is truly Professional and Knowledgeable. As we have visited the Store and used the excellent Training Range pretty much on a weekly basis since opening we have made new Friends. Shopping at this Store is a MUST! I checked out the new location in Wixom, MI, I was not sure what to expect. What I found was a very clean store, that was well stocked. The staff was very nice, very helpful and easy to talk to. The range was well lit, and well ventilated. I enjoyed my experience, and have been back to the shop several times, and will many more to take advantage of the range time afforded in a membership. Long story short, I like it!

This is new new store to my area. I stopped in during their Grand Opening and promptly joined the Club. With ammo being so hard to come by it is nice to know I can just stop in and pick some up. Store has a company policy to have STATE ID to shoot or purchase anything, but will not accept a Passport, which is FEDERAL identification, much rather take my business to Huron Valley Guns! Until they change policy, I will not recommend to anyone!

Went there yesterday. Dont know why there are complaints about ammo policy and firearm prices. Their gun prices were actually lower than a few shops within a 25 mile radius that I go to. Ammo policy (currently) is five box limit (unless bulk, then 1 box) so long as you shoot at their range, are buying a firearm, or are a member. Honestly, being how hard it is to find ammo today, thats understandable to make sure your usual crowd has access.Range rates were good too. Also membership pricing is good if you intend to shoot 2 times a month at least.The bit of staff I worked with was courteous and knowledgeable. Definitely gonna be coming here a lot more after first impressions.

Great place, staff is trained well and informative would definitely recommend for CPL classes as thats where I did my class. One thing to note is the place is always very clean which is nice.

I became an Elite member to take advantage of all of the in stock ammo that they have available and am sooo happy I did. The staff has been able to answer every question I have had. Always giving me their honest opinions about firearms I was looking at as all seem to have different applications. The membership makes it easy for me to stop by and shoot a couple rounds without being worried about the additional cost of range time. It has allowed me to bring others into this hobby without some of the upfront cost of going to the range. I would recommend Shoot Point Blank to anyone that goes to the range 2x or more per month.

Moved into the area not to long ago, was a little skeptical to be honest of a chain gunstore. Was happily proven wrong with the very clean storefront, surprisingly varied stock (especially in these times), and friendly staff. I would highly recommend stopping by and giving these guys a try.

Bought a gun and some ammo from them during their opening weekend. Everyone seemed nice and helpful. Went in a week or so ago to purchase some ammunition but was denied. Was told you had to be a member to purchase ammo. Memberships start at $25 a month. Im supposed to pay them $300 a year just to buy ammo? Nope, not going to happen.

Good service, friendly staff.I had a rifle transferred to them that arrived in 5 days. Got notified by fedex that it was delivered at 10am. I called at noon to see if it was ready to pick up and was told if I haven’t received a call then it is not ready, which is fine, whatever. Went In the same day at 5pm on my way home to work just to see and ask for my gun and they did the paperwork and sent me on my way no problems. Instead of making me wait and sending me home empty handed they did everything right there and then.I transferred a gun to the Huron Valley Gun store just down the road and they kept my gun for a week after it was delivered. I went in there everyday since the day the gun arrived and they kept telling me it’s not ready. So bravo to Shoot Point Blank.On the other hand, seems the the staff isn’t on the same page. I was told one day that I could get any ammo that wasn’t behind the counter even if I wasn’t a member, renting a lane or buying a gun. The very next day, I went in again and was told the same thing, but when I went to check out, the cashier said I had to be either a member, renting a lane or buying a gun. Very confusing. Staff needs to get on the same page.

Under 21 but 19 with a pistol, shot at the range before and bought ammo from this place at 19 years old. Came in again said I couldn’t shoot a pistol under 21 here which is pretty garbage.

The price hikes are not enjoyable unfortunately. Also when I hear about how an employee was talking about myself and my wife in an unpleasent manner it takes away from the experience.Pros: this range is definitely new shooter friendly, though some of their rules can be somewhat of barriers. You can easily learn many of your fundamentals given the right person for the style you learn best. Before the price hike, when you could get some ammo it was nice that they restricted it given the current times we are in, made it more likely I could get a box. MOST of the employees are great, they are knowledgeable and if they are lacking in a subject area they ask each other questions to see the best way to answer, or give their personal opinion based on their experience. Many are likeable people who will talk with you and share stories and help you make a purchase that is a right fit for you.Cons: some of the employees have come off a bit two face ish, nice to you but once you leave, well that fake smile is gone and they may complain about having to deal with a customer like you (thats just retail though in someways). The price hike is ridiculous, if anything they should have just done non members pricing and members pricing (box of 9mm was $18-20 now 35, .300blk is outrageous last time I went in at nearly 1.70 per shot). Gun enthusiasts wont enjoy the atmosphere much as the rules can be restrictive and change depending on RSO. The company policy is controlled fire is allowed, rapid fire isnt (1 second cadence is controlled), yet I got told 3 seconds between shots just last week.Overall they are average in my book, hence the 3 star rating. I wont speak on some things that I have knowledge about as a prior employee that left for a better paying position elsewhere, but if your a newer shooter, and like the retail gunshop experience without gun snobs (well there is some that come off that way at times here), and no pushy sales, and having an inviting environment this is the place for you.If your a gun enthusiast and know the safety rules and wont break them but you want to do real training, or practice I dont believe this is the place for you, again just my opinion.

Memberships allow you to bring someone to the range and shoot for free, nice privacy walls between lanes, clean location, love the shop and its EDUCATED sales people. An employee named Julie always helps me find my purchases.

Shoot Point Blank has some of the friendliest staff out of all the guns stores I’ve visited. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to the stuffy, grumpy and stuck up gun stores in the Detroit area. I definitely will be heading back soon

I did the ductwork on the outside and inside the range I was curious if I could bring in an Ak that fires 7.62x39 I called the guy was un sure could I maybe get a discount.

Visited the store shortly after it opened. I like the spacious, well lit stire area. The restrooms were also very clean.Returned a week later and after some discussion I purchased a Ruger 555 even though I was looking for a SW MP II AR 15. The guy who helped me investigated what I wanted in an AR. He pointed out the Ruger offered the best, most cost effective option. Both rifles were the same price, $150 Black Friday discount. Very happy with the service, price, and the free 1 hour range time with my purchase.

Unfortunate first experience at the new retail store. They won’t even let you buy ammo unless you are a member or purchase a firearm at their store. Great way to turn away new customers.

Took my kids, my brother-in-law and my nephew here yesterday evening to shoot. Everyone had a great time. Being a new facility it was extremely clean and nice. For awhile we had one whole range to ourselves with our own RSO. Our RSO switched off and the new one was just a nice as the one who moved to the other range. They were super patient with the new shooters and gave both my brother-in-law and I space to help the kids without being overbearing or controlling on the range while still making sure we were all being safe. I cant speak to their retail prices (they seemed reasonable to me but I wasnt shopping for a gun at the time) or their ammo purchase policy (I brought in my own). They did charge a $5 per fee shooter new shooter for liability, but I suppose they probably have a pretty hefty liability insurance policy they need to cover. Overall, if you have your own ammo so the ammo purchase policy other reviewers noted isnt an issue for you, I highly recommend SPBW and will be back, maybe even later this week. My kids have already asked to go again.

My first time here with my family...excellent experience with very knowledgeable staff.

Visited when it first opened looking to buy a handgun which was than out of stock. Not surprised. Store was clean and well set up. Decent selection and service but since they did not have what i was looking for i left and would try again another day. Revisited it 2 weeks later and my first, second or 3rd choice of guns i was looking for were not available ( and a bit over priced if they were) so figured I would buy some ammo while there. Was told at the counter they wont sell ammo to me or the general public unless i bought a membership for about $300 a year, buy a gun i dont want or rent a gun ( ammo would be used on the range so whats is the point), they would not sell me 2 boxes of ammo? With that he took the ammo boxs off the counter and said i can check their website to find something i will want to buy.. Ummm..NO THANKS. Wont be back ever. Nice place, prices a bit high but i guess Ill take my chances at places like Dunhams who are cheaper and dont have rules and extra fees associated with who can buy their products.

I went to this store on 12/12/20. I saw a billboard advertisement on my way to Novi. I always want to check out new firearms stores. Plus it wasn’t too far outta my way.The store itself is really nice inside and out. As it should be as it’s a new store. Pretty decent selection of items. Range bags, mags, optics. Not a big selection of parts and accessories but a normal amount.The staff however, needs some fine tuning. I was in the store for 20 mins. I wasn’t acknowledged or spoken to. I wasn’t approached by members of the sales staff either. The store wasn’t all that busy either and there was more than enough staff to accommodate the amount of customers in the store.I was standing at a counter looking at some rifles on the wall. Two customers walk up and one points at a rifle on the wall. Think it was a PTR, least that’s what I thought he said. “Oh I see you pointing. I see you pointing” This was said by one of the sales staff as he walks right by me. Not asking if I needed anything or wanted to see anything or asking who was first. So that guy definitely needs some fine tuning on how he needs to do his job.Being ignored for 20 mins is ridiculous and totally uncalled for. If I wanted to be ignored and treated as if I was invisible, I would’ve went to Huron Valley Guns. Save your money and more importantly your time and go elsewhere. Unless being ignored is your thing then this place is your best bet!

Went in with a friend to purchase a firearm yesterday. We liked the store. Staff was friendly knowledgeable, and curtious. My friend bought his firearm and was happy with the process. Thier selection of firearms ammo and supplies is good. Their policys are to keep ammo inventory stocked for members or non members who shoot there. Totally understanable. I might be joining soon. Thanks for giving my friend his first gun sale experience awesome. Would highly recommend.

You can not buy any ammunition here unless you either use the range ($14 minimum), buy a gun, or become a member. Avoid this place and support family owned businesses like Huron Valley Guns right down the road.

Average gun range and kind of small too. Also a bit of penny pinchers, charges $5 for the wavier you have to sign and every other range I’ve been too has never charged for that.

Have to be a member to buy anything but did research and there guns are $100 to 150 higher than any others gun store in michigan do not sign up for the member ship
