They have a great selection, they price used cards and models fairly, great customer service. Best of all, they have plenty of floor space and the best war gaming tables Ive seen yet at any store with a fantastic selection of terrain to choose from. Events, friendly pick up games, I even commute from fenton, totally worth the trip. I snagged the model in the picture for 70 bucks, great addition to my 40k army.

I love this place. Everyone is really helpful and easy to talk to. They have a gigantic play room open to everyone all day. Grab a group of friends, buy cards/board games, hang out all night if you want. And they stay open late. Places like this deserve community support. I dont care how much can be saved online, if they have what Im looking for, i purchase from them. Owner is a really nice guy, super easy to have a conversation with. If youve never been here, i highly recommend you drop by.

I moved to this area in 2013, not knowing what any game shops were like, but hoping I could find a card shop worth frequenting. I have become a regular customer at Flat Land Games. The people here have a genuine interest in helping facilitate others fun, and it shows. They carry a wide selection of products, but are still knowledgeable about what they sell, and the staff, despite being busy, makes an effort to take an interest in people, not see them as walking wallets. That made an impression on me right away. The place also seems to rub off on its patrons, or at least attract similar good attitudes. The other gamers seem to be mostly inclusive and diverse (not just a boys club). Some of them are even enthusiastic, and will invite total strangers to join their games.I think its good to support your local game store, but only if they prove worthy of that support. Flat Land Games routinely does. Ill admit, Im surprised I found a shop that met my expectations.

Great staff, a very welcoming place where any card game players can find a great experience or playgroup. There are private rooms if you desire that and a lot of room for any card games or board games. Would highly recommend.

Great up and coming game store. Theyre selection is still growing, but the staff will happily help you order the product you are looking for. They have a great bits section and a large and inviting play area. If you pay the 5 bucks to rent a board game, it goes towards your purchase be if you decide to buy a copy!

Courteous, professional and knowledgeable staff. They carry Malifaux and Arena, and thats worth 2 more stars in my book.There are tons of tables to play on and a great selection of games.This is one of the best stores in Michigan

Did a modern MTG tournament Sunday. I by no means have the cards to compete but everyone was friendly and willing to forgive mistakes. One guy even game me some pretty good cards for free. Great place to game with some good people.

Only game store that Ive seen with private gaming rooms for groups. Perfect for the new players I was bringing into the game. Well definitely play here again

Discovered Flatland for the first time last weekend and will definitely be back. Friendly owner who genuinely loves his trade and welcomes everyone to the store, which is spacious and a cool place to hang out and place games. Lots of events going on there.

One of the best games stores Ive ever visited. Went with my uncle and I was completly blown away. Great atmosphere and the owner is very in tune with a variety of games. He even helped me get introduced into what is now my favorite game. Hell of a place. Hell of a guy.

Its been a while since ive been here, I was often a regular before some stuff in life happend but this store is amazing! They usually have a lot in stock and if they dont they are more than happy to order it for you! They have plenty of space for tabletop games (lots of terrain on the tables) and card games. All in all this is a wonderful place with amazing employees, wonderful staff, and awesome regulars!

A well kept secret of a gamestore in Oakland County with very convenient access near a freeway.They have a giant, well kept and decorated play area with room to play several different types of games without bothering each other. They can host and have hosted multiple tournaments of games of differing genres without succumbing to typical hygene issues of certain gamers. On any given night you will find rows upon rows of cardgamers playing near wargamers and around the corner from the nice private RPG rooms.Of special note are the terrain and tables for miniature gaming are superb and of higher quality and better condition than you would normally find at a popular gamestore. Two of these tables are conveniently located next to midsize TVs that are very useful for games that can use them.Great retail area for miniatures wargaming but not so much anything else. They can however special order you almost anything you could be looking for. This makes sense cause it is a risk for a brick and mortar to stock everything.The staff ranges from the over enthusiastic to the downright competitive but they are ALL friendly and knowledgeable. They treat their regulars very well.I would spend all my gaming time here if I lived closer.
