To find a good car mechanic is equally hard as to find a good doctor. Fantastic service, great price and quick turnaround. Nothing you can get at a BMW dealership. Just had my starter changed, tow truck dropped it off they contacted me via text after diagnosing the problem and gave me a price, I OKd the cost and paid online and am picking it up after hours and they put the keys in a lock box. How much better does service get, highly recommend PHIL, he is a master mechanic.

Best BMW shop in Michigan. Phil Dixon is the only person I’ll let do repairs on my foreign cars. Colby is very nice and professional as well. Great person to have working the front of the shop. Honest, reasonably priced and quality work every time. 10/10

I typically don’t leave reviews but I felt this situation was necessary. From start to finish this is what every business should aspire to be. I bought my wife a new vehicle from Dixon Motorsports. Colby was over the top professional right from the start and very helpful with any questions I had. Phil was a wealth of knowledge for any and all mechanical questions I had for him. Being a mechanic myself in a different field I am typically skeptical on others opinions and advice. To say the least.... they know their BMW’s. The vehicle had run ability issues just a couple weeks after we had purchased it. I called Colby the next morning to explain what happened. He had the vehicle towed to their shop and Phil had a resolution for me within hours. Very impressive. They had the vehicle fixed the following morning. The communication was excellent and the price was very affordable. I will be using these guys in the future without a doubt and recommend everyone that is a BMW owner and or enthusiast to check them out. Great work guys!

Having worked with several shops before, the difference between a avg shop and a great one are apparent from start to finish. Dixon is one of those shops. Great customer service, a wealth of knowledge and experience, and personable. I’m very happy with my first service experience at Dixon and will be there only shop I use in the future for my BMW.

The Dixon Motorsport team is the one you want when you encounter any problem. Whether it’s just an oil change or that pesky valve cover they got your back. Need a new ride? They can even do that! They got lots of nice cars, SUVs, and even them grocery gettin station wagons. They’re fast, knowledgeable, and best of all kind. They got coffee and water readily available if ur waiting and it’s almost like a mini car show when you see all the nice rides in the lot.

Colby was very professional and kept me posted at all times. Phil is very knowledgeable with M motors and answered all my questions. They had worked on my 2012 BMW E92 M3 and replaced it with new WPC Rod bearings and ARP bolt. I highly recommend their shop for any European car owners who need maintenance and servicing. I drove all the way from OHIO to Michigan to have them work on my car. 3 hours of driving and they valued my time and took care of my pride and joy. Now I can continue to enjoy driving my M3!!

Stored my car here for what was supposed to just be the winter. Things changed on my end and had to leave the car there 3 months longer, the team at Dixon was super accommodating and made the transaction pretty seamless. When it came time to pick up my car they made sure the battery was charged up and it started before I got there. I really like this place, top notch service and customer care.

Brought my BMW for a valve cover replacement to Dixon motor sports as I wanted someone well experienced with the make to be working on it, but did not want to pay the out outrageous dealer costs. I called on a Friday, got a thorough quote within a half hour, and Phil the owner had parts the next day. Brought it in at 1130 AM on the following Monday and was driving it by 2 PM. Additional to fast service, Phil took additional steps to clean the engine compartment from the oil leak. He was very descriptive and explained to me exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. There are only two mechanics that are aloud to touch my vehicles, and Phil is one.

Great experience. Brought in my E90 for an oil change. Colby was working in the office and Phil in the shop. Both were very friendly and helpful. They serviced my car at the time of my appointment and had me out quickly (unlike the dealer).Phil went above and beyond, troubleshooting the recent notification for a dead taillight bulb to determine which bulb and then showing me how to gain access and change it myself. Additionally, he advised that the leak in the oil pan gasket (that the dealer recommended be replaced for >$1,000) was minor and not necessary at its current state. I appreciated the communication and honesty and that they did not try to sell me on unnecessary maintenance and service.

Phil did some engine work (rear main seal) on my CTS-V. The quote process, scheduling and estimated repair time exceeded my expectations. I used to take my car to the dealer for repairs but from now on it is going to Phil. The dealer wanted about three times more than what Phil charged (Phil’s workmanship and quality is better than the dealer’s any day). He has an unbelievable amount of experience and expertise, not to mention he is a great guy to deal with. Thanks again, Phil!

Professional,provided options for work,work was then performed,in my estimation,quicker than other shops I’ve frequented and accepted a number of payment avenues. I stored my car there for the winter months. Their facility is very clean, the people are friendly and easy to work with, communications are prompt, and the price wasnt all that bad either. They do all sorts of repairs there as well and Ill keep that in mind for the future.
