Back around Christmas my local arms dealer had failed me when i had purchased a great lakes firearm. So i called great lakes up directly about my situation and they came through! I always recommend going through your local dealer first but it was nice to see them go above and beyond for the holidays!

Bad customer service!! Never received my package in the mail. Not receiving any updates or refunds, they won’t answer their phone and they won’t let me pick it up in person otherwise I would!! They were quick to take my cash but I have yet to actually speak to someone regarding my package that never arrived

This place appears to be permanently closed. Not answering the phone, and e-mail address seems to have been deleted. A note on the web site would have been nice.

First thousand round were decent . Went back for a second thousand and had a bunch of duds and not enough powder for the gun to eject the shell and chamber the next round. Friendly staff just be cautious buying in bulk.

Bought 2 boxes of these from action impact in Detroit yesterday because I only had 60rd before hand and cannot procure any from Walmart or meijer because they no longer carry them. Every single round I used from these people jammed. Casings were all warped. My Remingtons flew right through no problem. Obviously no quality control from this business.

Ive been buying for a little over a year, shooting .45acp, 9mm, .40, and .223. Not one problem, very accurate, and very cheap. Will recommend to anyone.

Great ammunition at a great and reasonable price

I shoot around 200 rounds of their ammunition per week at my local range. 9mm luger, shoots great out of my rock island armory and glocks.Will keep shooting it for years to come.

2 years ago Great Lakes was a vender at a shooting competition I attended. They offered a door prize of 500 rounds of .223 rounds. I ended up winning the drawing and received a voucher for the ammunition. I made several attempts with this company to claim the prize. After a year of not receiving the ammunition through the rep, I thought I would try a different employee. I explained the situation and e-mailed a copy of my information and the voucher. After year two, I still have not received anything from them.As far as the ammunition, I can not comment due to the fact that I never got a chance to shoot it.Shooting competitors beware if this company shows up at your next competition.
