Very nice people. I dropped the car off for the oil change early in the a.m. with a request to have it complete before lunch. I didnt get a call back until about 30 minutes before closing time. Everyone is very friendly, but timing / communication might be a growth opportunity.

The difference between the last shop I took my car to and this one is like night and day. You walk up the the window and get greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk. The techs are honest about the issues with your vehicle. The call you when they find an issue to see if thats something youd like to also fix. This was amazing to me because the last shop would work on the vehicle without any estimate and then I got stuck with the bill of things I never was even told about. The last shop called me once in a 1 month period and didnt even fix the issue.I had to fix it myself. German excellence was also very quick and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I have a 1997 Mercedes C280, very low mileage, but my AC stopped working. Took it to a repair shop, they said it was unrepairable, will not work on a car that old. But then my son took our car to German Excellence and although it took two or three weeks, they found the intermittent electrical problem, recharged the Freon, and gave it back to us ice cold, better than ever for around seven hundred dollars! I challenge any car dealership to beat the love and quality that German Excellence put into our car. Nobody will come even close, I guarantee you…and I am a very particular and critical person, but I will tell you, these gentlemen know what they are doing, and that’s a rarity today. Once they commit to a job, they will complete it, you can count on them! Thank you so much German Excellence!

German Excellence recently serviced the convertible top on my ‘02 Boxster S and I was very pleased with the experience. The top works like new and they completed the work very quickly. Customer service was friendly and informative, I would recommend GE to others!

German Excellence just gained a new customer with me, Shay and Jorge very professionals and friendly, from scheduling appointment to checking out. Took my previous VW to the dealership for the same issue and ended paying 3 times more to have it fixed. The guys are very attentive sanitizing the car and retrieving it just like if you were paying for valet.

Was quoted $800 to replace rotors and brake pads for front and back of my Audi. Seemed reasonable compared to the dealership. However, after 6 hours I go to pick up my car and they tell me they only did just the front because the back wasnt needed. Since I was in a rush to get to work, I just paid it.I eventually got the rear done by my father who is a mechanic. If I could’ve waited for him to come down to visit, I would’ve saved about $600 considering the parts aren’t expensive.

Don and Shay do amazing work. I take all my cars to them. Their team is both experienced and responsive. Prices are not cheap but reasonable. The best part is knowing that my cars are safe and in good hands, from a 1964 Morgan to a 911 SC to a 65 old Mercedes, these guys have it covered. From a total restoration to a clutch change on a modern Boxter, they will have my business.

I am giving German Excellence 5 stars ONLY because of the professionalism of their mechanics and the attentiveness of the manager, Tim. The receptionist simply needs to be retrained or fired. I just read the negative reviews about this 4.2 star business and most of them revolve around her. I didnt know her name during our encounter and because of her bad behavior with others, Ive come to know it now as Shay. It is a shame that a companys reputation and service is based on one bad actor and I hope that they remedy this situation because at some point, it cant always be disgruntled customers--I was actually quite satisfied with every other aspect.

Their communication was excellent and attentive, responding to my emails immediately and able to see me on short notice. They didnt promise me miracles sight unseen, (I had been quoted $3000 for an exhaust hanger replacement at my local dealership), but they promised a fair evaluation and explanation of parts and labor needed.When I arrived, I was offered beverages and use of a clean and air-conditioned waiting room that had wifi so I could work remotely.After the mechanic had an opportunity to evaluate the car, he was able to assess that the repair was much less invasive and expensive than my original quote. He explained what they would do and assured me that there were no missing parts (as alluded to by the other auto shop) and it was a simple process to manipulate the hanger into its original position.I paid only 69.00 for this service and they washed my car to boot.I highly recommend this honest, efficient, and professional shop. If I have any other issues with my Toyota Prius, I will definitely bring it back.

Great service at a great price and great customer service

I took my car to get my cooling system fixed . It was first diagnosed to cost $1100 to fix and then the cost went up to $2200. On hearing this I had to stop the repair. I believe the labor cost prevented my car from being fixed so I am not happy.

Professional (mechanics), friendly (mechanics), experienced, knowledgeable. Front desk woman (Shay?) seemed frustrated, irritated, unfriendly - but only the first time I arrived to simply drop off my Audi. She was friendly every encounter I had with her thereafter. I don’t know why. Receiving the parts and making the repairs were done timely. The oil change was half the price of Valvoline drive-thru oil change and the dealership. My 2015 Audi A4 runs great. I would recommend them for anyone with a German automobile. Pricing is fair and much better than dealership pricing.

I went to German Excellence for a engine diagnostic to figure out where the oil was leaking from on my 335i and found out it was something else than what I originally thought it was. Jorge really broke down everything that was wrong, fix it, and communicate with me very well. I definitely recommend bringing in your vehicle even for the smallest issue.

I took my 2010 BMW 550i for a four wheel alignment with scheduled appointment. Once a mechanic took my vehicle to the back of their facility I didn’t see my vehicle in any squad bay or on any machine that performs a four wheel alignment. My PSI light on the dashboard still comes on which indicates that the tires do not have the right amount of pressure according to the vehicle’s specification. I called and made the appointment for this service several days ago before the actual appointment and they quoted me $149.00 plus tax. When it was time for me to pay for the service it came out to be $171 plus change. Long story short, did they actually perform the service on my car? Why did they not tell me the total price of the service when I was on the phone with them making the appointment?

It was a bit of a challenge to find the problem as the car is 50 years old and only a small number were ever produced, but Don kept kept at it and solved the problem.

This is a direct response to Stephen Prezzi’s review. To provide some context, I was interested in buying a car that he was selling for a friend, who currently isn’t stateside. I had asked to have a PPI done at this specific shop because I was looking at buying this car remotely and they seemed to have a good reputation. Being the potential buyer, the only opinion wether the PPI was satisfactory or not should have been up to me, not him. German Excellence uncovered things about the car that I wasn’t aware of/ was expecting, which led me to walk away. For me, they did their job correctly and I would recommend them to other buyers out there looking at buying a used German car.

Lady at the front desk was extremely rude. i felt like such a burden and she made me feel like i was being annoying. had an attitude when i asked questions and down right made me feel stupid. other than that everyone else was amazing. but she made my expirience horrible. i would be fired if i spoke to customers in the tone she spoke to me in.

Had German Excellence look over used Porsche for me prior to purchase. They are a professional organization and provided me with both a verbal and written description of their findings. Both Shay and George were extremely courteous and professional.

Incredibly disappointed. Sent my car in for a PPI (even though already having 2 other PPIs done by other shops). German excellence did not take the time to actually look at the car, they scanned it and pulled up whatever fault codes were on there and simply stated those were the issues. While 2 other independent shops had a 2 page list of items that needed to be looked at (both almost spot on to eachother). Oil was literally just changed but the service interval was never reset... German excellence had needs new oil and filter as the first item on the list.Unless youre spending MONEY MONEY there they obviously dont seem to care about your car.Waste of money and time

Was looking for a professional VW mechanic to service and maintain my 2013 CC and 2016 Tiguan, in lieu of the poor service received from the VW dealership. They not only found the issue, oil leak, that was previously undetected but made it easy to schedule an appointment and communicated with me all the way. Would highly recommend. I left my car here overnight because it broke down, once they looked at it they try to rip me off with a charge of 850+, when you go and see how much the parts actually cost you can clearly see that they were doubling every part i called a different mechanic and they only charged me half, honesty is key and the funny part is that when i told them about the new place they tried to give me a different price for their service, not a good business motto especially for people that dont know much about cars. Very Unprofessional.

I generally do not post reviews but this was a real bad experience. Took my 2007 benz CLK, spoke with Rick I believe, all I needed them was to check compressor for a possible replacement. The shop gave me an estimate for $2100 add on a lot of mandatory repairs needed. Nothing else was wrong... took to the dealership, they only mentioned that the compressor needed to be replace.. got it done for $650. Will never go to this shop.

I have a 2016 bmw 435i. Went there for a diagnostic. They told me I had a bad transmission. They took the car to discount transmission next door. They said I needed a rebuild. Turn out to be a coil pack. Sounds like they are working together. Never go back again.

The motor and cables for my top had to be replaced. They are so transparent and helpful.

The entire staff is courteous and friendly. The office manager Shay is charming and I look forward to my conversations with her in the comfortable waiting area of the office. The folks at German Excellence were extremely helpful in my first foreign performance auto purchase. Initially, they assisted with a very thorough PPI. During inspection, the mechanic walked me around, identifying precise areas to consider. The mechanic even suggested some small repairs that could be done at home. I was wildly impressed with this level of detail and assistance (for very little cost overall). Later, when I decided to have some more serious preventative maintenance done, I called Rick and he took great care of me. The work was done professionally, quickly, and below the initially quoted (and expected) cost. Wonderful!

Oil change was performed as expected. AC not working in the trailer where I waited for service to be completed. Vehicle was not washed or vacuumed as it normally is.

Last week I had my BMW in for and oil change and fluid flush and oil gasket leak. The manager, Shay, is fantastic. I was excited to have a women assist me when I brought in my vehicle. Often times, car repairs can be daunting and Shay was able to guide me through the process effortlessly. Work was performed to my satisfaction and my car was washed :) Great Place!

I took my Mercedes CLK 430 because it had broke down,So they performed a diagnostic on it and said that it was the fuel pump,So they called me to tell me about it and how much to fix it so I said go ahead and fix it,A few days had past and I swung by the shop for an update status and my car wasn’t even in the shop getting repaired because they did not have the part to fix it,My car was sitting outside with the windows open getting wet in the rain and my steering wheel column was turned all the way to the right and my battery was dead and they couldn’t start the car,So the shop manager told me to take the car to the Mercedes dealer because he could not fix it,He gave me a list of all the problems my car supposedly had and repair costs of everything totaling up to about $3000.So I kindly got my car towed to the dealer due to the incompetence of German Excellence.Mercedes dealer fixed my car in two days and only charge me for parts and labor that totaled out to be $700 and telling me and showing me on a sheet that nothing else is wrong with my car,Do not bring your car to German Excellence a waist of time and money

Not a very good experience, service was a bit unprofessional.Came in Monday morning to drop off my car for service. Front desk person seem a bit tired and made a couple of minor mistakes. I chalked it up as being Monday morning because I too almost walk out of there without leaving them my key. They told it will be done by that afternoon or so and they will give me a call. No call that afternoon. I in return gave them a call the follow day during lunch around noon. They told Oh yes, we tried to call you this morning. This was a lie I was next to my phone all day and never got a called or a miss called, yet I was still patient thought hey I was a bit tired yesterday probably wrote down my number wrong or something and they probably called a different number. Came to the dealer to pick up my car at around 2 that afternoon. Went to the lobby and no one was there. There was also no bell or anything to notify that I was there. I stood there for about half an hour before someone came in. When the front desk person came in and saw me he was shock and said, No one told me that you were coming in, okay can you wait a bit for me to get your invoice ready? So, I had to wait another half an hour for an invoice. When I double check my invoice, I saw that my phone number on there was correct. Overall, the work they did there wasnt bad. They did what they said they would do and didnt really tried to up-sale me on any other services. They do charge you a bit more than a family mechanic. Overall I probably wont come back due to their lack of professionalism

I have nothing but praise for this shop so far. I am an experienced mechanic and a pretty good judge of quality work and customer service. However, I am new to BMWs and thought Id try this shop for work Im not comfortable taking on. I’m speaking for myself and my experience. My 07 BMW was leaking coolant form the radiator. I google some place in Orlando that is close and have some good reviews and price isn’t too outrageous. I end up finding German Excellence! I’m glad I did!!! I called up just for a free quote like I did to many shops around town and they was the most reasonable priced that’s what got me in the door. So I End up dropping my car off in the morning around 10am. And picked it up in the afternoon when it was done. Through out the day Brian kept in touch with me and updated me on the progress on the car. When it was time to pick up my car I notice my car was in the back getting wash AND vacuum!!!! Wow!!! It was the little details that matter. And That’s excellent service right there and I was not expecting that at all. Got my car fixed for a good priced along with a car wash and clean car. Spoke to the owner and ask how did the shop came around. It’s a really cool story he worked his way to the top. From working there to owning it now. I had my Golf R engine intakes cleaned out and walnut blasted. They did a good job from what I can tell, and took pics of the before-and-after. Most importantly, they were professional and friendly, and much more affordable than the dealership, but were sure to use original VW replacement gaskets.

The most unprofessional porsche independent shop ever. I took my car there for a ppi, and they pointed out minuscule imperfections on the car, most of which are common for my model. Nothing wrong with pointing out issues. On the test drive the tech hit the rev limiter on my car and pointed out an over rev on the report. The owner proceeded to tell the potential buyer the car seemed to be chewed out and spit out after the minuscule issues. Extremely unprofessional. Made me look terrible to the buyer and described the car very poorly. Do not recommend! Theyre cheap for a reason!

Ive been going to Zotz/German Excellence for a few years now and they have always treated me fairly and been upfront. If youre looking for a shop that can just be real and upfront with you then these guys/gals are the folks to go to. You wont pay dealership prices here but lets be honest, its not cheap to own and maintain a foreign car. But this shop hasnt led me wrong so I would definitely recommend them.As for the previous review that was terrible, mechanics arent mind readers. They wouldnt know whats wrong with your car or how long youve been driving it while it was messed up and how much damage youve continued to cause....dont bad mouth a good shop because YOUR car is messed up. It costs them time and labor to properly diagnose your problem so think about that.

I took my Audi in for steam blowing out of the engine because of a broken plastic connector piece. It took them over a week to order it and then I ended up spending over a grand on brakes and other unnecessary crap before I finally said STOP, dont touch anything else. But they had estimates for another couple grand to fix more unnecessary crap like fans, fan motors, fan modules, things that look like fans or anything near a fan! Come on! Seriously! I finally dragged my car out of there for a $1,500.00 piece of plastic and it still didnt work.These are the kind of scumbags that will sell you new air in your tires or bring your car in for an oil change and end up having to paint the whole car and replace the engine..Not only that, I told them what was wrong, but they charged crazy amount for diagnostic fee then charged outrageous shop hour time fees, which is what the book says (what a scam that is!) then charged more fees to make sure they fixed it right. HELLO! Its still not fixed!Thanks Full Throttle for fixing it right, in just a day and for just a few dollars.Seriously! German Excellence Thats like saying Hitlers Excellence. You may want to bring your own lube if you have to go there, toss them the keys, bend over, grab your ankles and prey they finish quick.

Overpriced in my opinion. It costs almost $300 to get an oil change for an 86 porsche and the diagnostic prices are ridiculous at around $80. I didnt like the fact how they kept pointing out other miniscule problems and pressuring to get those fixed. I just wanted one issue fixed thats all. There are far better places if you look.

I have always trusted german excellence to get the job done right, and a fair price and they always keep in touch with you, they have a great team of mechanics. I plan to continue going to them for all my needs.

I went in for service very recently and had everything completed on my 2015 bmw 328i xdrive and as im leaving I noticed damage on my driver side door handle and I was shocked as how this couldve happened in such a highly reviewd shop and I was extremely aggravated and didnt quite understand how thier rating was so high. I posted a bad review in regards to that and gave them 1 star and how Im never returning again.Very shortly after my review, I get a call from German excellence, trying to figure out exactly what happened and how they can resolve it. Mistakes happen but theyre willing to fix it. It really showed that they care and the following day I got another call from them saying that they ordered the part that was damaged and they will fix and take care of everything. That really comes to show how much they care about their customers and how professional they are. I now understand how they have such a high rating. Very well deserved. Great place to be trusted with your car.

Oh Ill start by saying I wont ever return any of my vehicles to German Excellence.Limited exposure, a year or so, but always left feeling something wasnt quite right. The Mercedes S600 and now the TDI work that I expressly requested wasnt done, work that I expressly requested not be done, was done.A simple example: Brought my TDI in for an oil change recently; a check for a P1248 OBD II code (fuel injection timing error); expressly asked that they NOT clean the K&N filter. One week later the oil had indeed been changed, the P1248 error was not corrected, the K&N filter had been cleaned; and not a single restraining nut had been returned to the engine cover upon completion of the oil change. In fairness they did replace two constant velocity joint boots that I had not requested but they found wanting/torn. Too many issues, too expensive; Im looking elsewhere.Dan

I took my 87 VW Vanagon in to have a steering fluid leak fixed. I drove by and saw another Vanagon in the parking lot so I pulled in. Was greeted by someone in the office and was told that they had to ask the owner if they would/could work on it. I had been to a couple of shops that just would not work on it and gave me the run around (Full Throttle was one of them). The owner Don came out and said sure!He quoted me a price for the whole replacement of the steering rack, which nobody rebuilds anymore, and after a day he called back and the total was under the quote!, who does that anymore? I was very happy with the work and will be glad to go back. The shop is immaculate and the employees are very polite.

I have a 2003 911 Turbo. 996 tt. low miles. I bought it second hand from a guy who had German Excellence do all the service on it.I live in Key West and have found no one in Miami or Ft Laud that would treat my car with any more respect than just a another number. In fact I took it to the recommended shop in Miami with a boost leak.. they said there was no leak and sent me on my way.I was coming to Orlando for a convention.. Called these guys a few days prior. Told them my symptoms and that I needed ((wanted)) some other work done as well.Diverter ValvesBoost hosesNew Key SwitchOil Senderfew other tid bits.They took a deposit over the phone set up a time for me to be there.. and we went with it.I showed up on time. They looked the car over.. Told me it would be ready by that afternoon but just to be safe more likely next morning. I rented a car (that they got me a GREAT rate on from Enterprise)Car was ready that night.. The boost leak was actually a split hose spewing turbo boost all over...I picked up next morning. all work was done and they explained every detail.The price FLOORED me.. it was about 600.00 Less than I thought it would be.I dont care if these guys are 386 miles from my house.. My car goes there if there is any issue.Don, Rick and Brian? were awesome. My car runs awesome no with 550 more miles since their work.. Win Win..Thanks German Excellence... Ill Be Back!!

Over rated, over priced with sketchy mechanics. never taking my car back here again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone else.

Great Mechanics no doubt about that but like most of the other Auto Shops this place has a desperate housewife working in the office as well.
