I’ve taken my car here 3 or 4 times now for a myriad of issues, and each time the staff have been so, so kind and patient with me and my complete lack of knowledge of cars 😆I was very concerned about finding a good mechanic in the area, one that would be straight with me and not take advantage of my ignorance about cars, and I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot with these guys. They’ve been extremely communicative and have taken the time to answer all of my questions. They’ve been able to break down every issue with my car in a very straightforward way and help me decide what was most urgent to fix and what could fit in my budget. They also have a very cool website that shows you a full diagnostic of your car and it’s overall “health” rating!!They have also been very flexible around my schedule and have waited after hours for me twice now, which I really, really appreciate.Thank you to Chris and Jennefer specifically for being so cool and helpful!

If I could give no stars I would.Do not go here unless you want to get hit over the head with outrageous prices.Was told the price over the phone was one thing then once the work was done, it was a completely different price.Was trying to charge almost 400 for some brakes.Went somewhere else and they only charged me 150.I repeat save your money and go somewhere else.

I am very grateful for this company. This is my second time visiting and using this mechanic shop. My first visit was awesome. Chris helped me with multiple issues that arose with the diagnostic of my car and has been over a year now and no more issues since. Today I went back to this shop from my previous experience and the manager Jimmy helped me. I was experience electrical issues. Turns out I need of a new battery after buying one 5 days ago from Walmart. Jimmy was very professional and honest with what was wrong with the car and gave me the best advice on how to solve the issue. He ordered me a new battery and also helped according I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for honest, reliable, and knowledgeable mechanics. Also a gentleman name mike was very informative and helpful with putting the old battery into my car so I could take back to Walmart. My car was taking in today and was out by the end of the day too. Very quick and got the job done efficiently. Thank you so much for everything!! I definitely will be back!

The price was as quoted with no additional charges or fees. Every person I dealt with was extremely courteous and professional in every way. About a month ago I had them fix the air conditioner in my truck. While the cost was more than I expected (as with most things I don’t want to spend money on) they used OEM parts, shop was clean, staff was professional and work was done on time. I am very happy. I would definitely go back.

I’ve been going to Auto Mechanic Shop Inc for last 10 years for ALL auto repairs. They are ASE certified mechanics that have taken excellent care of my 2001 Chevrolet Blazer. They always find the problem and fix with good quality parts. They have an amazing machine shop that is probably unequalled in Orlando. They work to keep this facility a model of cleanliness. Bathrooms are spotless. Waiting room is comfortable with TV, bottled water, coffee, WiFi, tables with power outlets for laptop computers and charging devices. There is a Costco, and restaurants within walking distance. All friendly & honest employees.

They made a diagnose of my car and were very specific and clear about the condition of my car. Others places I had been just limits themselves to the immediate problem and let me find by myself the rest when it gets broken. They are very attentive and courteous.

Donny and Chris were the nicest mechanics I’ve been to in the state of Florida. When they looked at my car, unfortunately it was beyond repair due to the rust from being in the northeast. Even after their diagnostic was complete, Donny didn’t charge me because they couldn’t fix the vehicle. They easily could have charged me $100 for just taking the vehicle in but Donny said it wasn’t a “win-win” situation for anyone so he didn’t charge me. Thank you, and I will definitely be bringing my car there whenever I get a new one. They restored my faith in good local mechanics.

Very professional shop, could never trust anyone to work on my project but me until I had no choice but to bring it to the technical experts, thats where AMS came in clutch with all the necessary diagnostic equipment and certificated technicians for the job. Absolutely excellent repair work done on my GMC P30 commercial Stepvan with Cummins diesel 4BT. I had a lot of work done here and I was a first time customer. Everything they did was an excellent value and was 100% necessary. I feel I got a great deal and I spent over $3,000. They deliver top notch work! Im so excited I may have finally found a shop that I can work with on a regular basis with all my vehicles in the future. Great job Auto Mechanic Shop!!

I have a 15 year old Focus that spent about 12 of those years on salty, New Hampshire winter roads, so even though the body, interior, and motor appear in fairly good shape, the chassis is badly rusted. I took it in because a wheel bearing was making noise. Chris and Donnie are honest and knowledgeable guys. They performed an inspection, produced a comprehensive and detailed list of their findings, sent photos, went over everything with me in person, and were straightforward and honest with their recommendation that it would be more economical for me to replace the vehicle than for them to put in the amount of work and parts it would take to do the repairs. Even something as straightforward as replacing a wheel bearing would prove to be a cascading set of problems, given the potential for seized/breaking bolts and other complications. Instead of leading me down a potentially very costly path, they made a good call to nip it in the bud. Know when to hold em and know when to fold em. Thanks guys!

Speaking with the owner of the business Jimmy Spinelli we were more than able to resolve this miscommunication and issue with my daughters Mazda. He is a good man and obviously cares about customer relationships, he listened to me, apologized for the miscommunications I had with the service manager. We were more than able to get this resolved in an adult manner and I so appreciate his respect of my situation with an unfortunate and unexpected major repair. He is what I train my HVAC students to be, a good communicator. So now that this is resolved to everyones satisfaction and with Jimmies assurance of quality work for my daughters car, I most definitely will endorse them. Service here is quality and very good customer service. The employees have good attitudes, treating customers with respect. I have been a customer for a year with an older Honda. They have been very honest with me and I trust them. They evaluated my vehicle to see if it was time to replace it or repair. There are no complaints from me. Each time they repaired something, I did not need to return it. They only use quality, original brand parts when possible. They dont take short cuts and they are reliable. Their advice was helpful. It is surprising how clean the place is for a mechanic shop, including restroom, waiting area, and bathroom. There are tables and chairs while you wait so you c work on your laptop or project. Im unsure if theres WiFi Not only is there refrigerated bottled water, but also bean bags for a kids area, peppermint candy, and TV.

I have been taking all of my vehicles to the Auto Mechanic shop for 15 years. I have always felt respected, treated with kindness and honesty and have always had the best customer service and experience, with both Donnie and the owner, Jimmy. This was a tiny shop back in the day and now has grown exponentially, and I can see why.These people know what they’re doing, they care about their customers and they go the extra mile to make sure you’re satisfied without nitpicking and charging for every single thing. They are flexible, knowledgeable and have never done anything but excellent work on both my new and used vehicles. I feel like they are family, and I would never take my cars anywhere else.

They took in my old truck which started driving worse and worse until the point where I thought it would no longer make it outside of my complex. A lot of places didnt even want to work on it.After their initial fix the problem came back a day later. I took it back in and they replaced a few additional parts without charging me for labor.It is running very good now and Im actually getting the best MPG since Ive owned it (I now get around 20 mpg, not bad for a 7.3 liter diesel).I do feel that no job is too big for these people, and I will gladly return here for additional services.So if youre tired of other shops not fixing your problem and charging you for parts+labor every time you have to bring your car back or if they straight up tell you they cant fix it then definitely give this place a try.

Just returned from a relatively long road trip which happened to be really short notice. I really wanted to have a reputable shop look over my truck and make sure it was up for a long haul. After doing an oil change and a thorough inspection they found out that not only my rear brakes were at zero, but that my battery was so weak that it would never make it. Turned out that it wasnt a lot of repairs, but either could have left me stranded. This shop has earned all my repair business! Thank you!

ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK GOD FOR THIS SHOP !!! I literally drove an hour and a half away to come see them . I have a Mercedes and I took it to a place near me that specialized in Mercedes . They did an oil change and after I took it home it started making noise. When I took it back to the place they were ready to charge me 600 dollars for something they were unsure of . Took it to jimmy and his team, and they were all super nice . They were all determined to help me out . At the end of the day they figured out the problem, and it was nothing close to 600 dollars. Actually it was on 22 dollars to fix .and they ordered the part for me that day and it was there in an hour ! They were honest with me . And they treated me so well! And now there is no noise ! I can’t recommend this place enough! I will never go anywhere else again! They specialize in every kind of car, and I promise you’ll never be disappointed !!! Donnie and Bill did a great job. My truck has a good bit of rust but they powered through it and brought a lot of new life to an old truck with a good engine. It cost quite a bit, but its worth it to not get stuck on the side of I4. The team did a great job.

SCAM. We could not be more upset about the way that we have been treated by this company, including the owner Donnie.Pavers Depot sent a diesel truck to have diagnostics run, and to perform the work needed to get the truck in running order. We were quoted around $8,000 to make the truck perform in good running order. We agreed and stated that they were authorized to do any, and all work they can up to $8,500. They called after a couple weeks and said that they have performed thorough road tests and that the truck was running great. We picked up the truck and THE NEXT DAY it broke down on the highway.We paid to have it towed back to them, where they charged us another $500 for repairs that did not work, so they did around another $2,000 work of work, and again, assured us that the truck was working.Within 72 hours of having the truck back this time, the truck broke down again, in front of a customers house. We had it towed back to them, where they told us that this AGAIN was a new problem, and they would need to charge us $3,500. At this point we decided to take our business elsewhere. At this point we have now paid approximately $11,000 for a non-working truck. We do not want to see any other people go through the same financial burden that we have, or waste their time as we have.

The guys over at Auto Mechanic Shop really know their stuff. But on top of that, they provide excellent customer service. Chris kept me up to date with the status of the work being done on my truck and never even gave me the chance to have to call them and ask for the status. That to me is huge as far as customer service is concerned. They do great work and are very friendly. Will definitely be taking all my vehicles to them when needed.

I ended up at Auto Mechanic Shop after searching for Mobile Oval Repair from recommendations on various Diesel/Powerstroke sites. These guys are in no way associated with Myron of Mobile Oval, they bought out his business when he retired a few years back.AMS does good work in my one experience, but they’re very expensive. I was quoted $1,600 initially for a $600-$800 job, and after some haggling, they came down to $1,000, which I had to take to get the truck running again. Personally, I’m put off knowing they tried to upcharge that much, so I found somewhere else to go that’s working out well.

Thought I had an issue with my transmission going! Big scare there, but Jimmy the owner put my heart at ease with a quick look over and within minutes found it was my alternator!! Wow! I brought my car in around 10:30am and was already picking it up before 5pm! My car is running a lot stronger and faster then before! New alternator, plus some new well needed belts and my car runs like a top!! Thanks guys! My mechanic for life!!

Brought in my 2006 Scion TC, wouldn’t go in gear. Researched the issue with other shops, forums, and each said I needed a clutch. ASM quoted me a price for the job, which was roughly the same as other shops, but they also fixed small things at no extra charge (blown license plate bulb, cigarette lighter, axle leaks). Only took them a day and the car is running great. Would recommend the shop to anyone who needs a repair at a reasonable price and great customer service

This shop is the best place in Central Florida. Awesome customer service, great mechanics. Been there a few times now and happy with the results and price every time. The shop is clean, employees look and act professional and I never get the run around. Have had horrible experiences with other shops in the past, not here they are for real. I refer all my friends and family to these guys. I would put 6 stars but they only allow 5.

A week ago I brought in my 94 camry which had more than a few issues and I was planning to sell the car a few days later. I told the mechanics that I was selling the car and that I didnt want to spend a lot on the car because I wanted to make at least a little bit of money on the car, but that I wanted it to be safe to drive for the buyer, and that I wanted to get the AC fixed.After they took a look at the car they said that the car has a lot of minor issues and oil leaks coming from many of the gaskets but that they werent immediately necessary to fix for safety or longevity.The one thing they did say was necessary were the brakes which were worn completely. They also said that they spent a few hours looking over the car and that they werent able to determine exactly what was wrong with the AC but that they knew it was an electrical issue, and that they were probably going to need a few more hours to pinpoint the problem which would cost $130 for the diagnosis. I agreed for them to proceed with the diagnosis.The next morning I got a call from them saying that they had found the issue with the AC electrical problem in about 40 minutes, which was a lot quicker than they were expecting and that they were going to deduct the $130 diagnosis fee for me!I agreed for them to do the brakes and AC and they gave me a very reasonable price and had them done a few hours later.The parts that stood out to me were the honesty in what was necessary for my car, the courtesy and honesty to refund my diagnosis fee, and the 1 year warranty for my AC, which transfers to the buyer (a friend) of my car.PS. The staff are extremely friendly and upfront.This was the first mechanic shop Ive ever trusted and not felt ripped off by.

Great shop. My daughters car engine needed to be replaced they had it running in less than two days. The car had been at another shop for over a week and the other shop told me it was junk. I needed some one to pick it up and junk it. Auto Mechanic Shop saved the car and me alot of money! I live in Georgia and my daughter goes to college in Orlando, she was new to the area and didnt know where to take her car. Chris at the shop is great, he called me several times to let me know what was going on and where they were at fixing it. He got the new motor ordered after lunch on Thursday and called me around 3 on Friday said it was working. Great service, friendly people, great work. A+++

My brother is a mechanic (doesnt work for them, mainly does body work) so I have extremely high standards when I go to other shops. Ive been there twice to get some flywheels resurfaced and both times they finished the job quickly (even in the lunch hour). Not only was the flywheel done nicely, but the staff was very personable, friendly, and respectful (hey didnt avoid my eyes while speaking to them, which drives me insane when i go to some places and they avoid talking straight to you). Anyways they did a quick, and efficiently well job

God is good and these people are his faithful servants ! I just had my oil changed at a drive in service and they could not get my hood to close and secure properly. I then went to the Auto Mechanic Shop and one of the mechanics took a look, did his magic and we were on our way in less than 2 minutes at no charge ... Go see these guys for all of your auto needs ~ I wish I had known about them before going to the stop and lube place, I would have rather been a patron at this establishment !!

I stopped in for a last minute oil change before travelling out of town. I picked this business because their facility looked professional and the grounds are clean and orderly (not typical for mechanic shops). After entering, the staff was awesome! Super friendly and ready and willing to answer any questions I had. (and I had a few) Not once did these gentlemen try to sell me something I didnt need. (not typical for mechanic shops when dealing with a woman). Having some knowledge of cars I expected to be treated like I didnt know what I was talkin about, but that was not the case here at Auto Mechanic Shop, Inc. These gentlemen were awesome, I look forward to my next oil change, and I highly recommend utilizing their services for routine maintenance as well as if you have any issues with your car.

I paid $4,000 for a basic engine rebuild on a 5.7 2011 Ram 1500. About 3 months after the motor burns a quart and a half of oil every 1500 miles. I called the owner Jimmy and he told me to put thicker oil in the motor...what a joke. No matter how thick of oil I put in the motor it still burns at least a quart every 1500miles and this is without towing. If Im towing even a 1000lb boat I have to keep oil on me and check it every 200 miles. DO NOT HAVE THESE PEOPLE TOUCH OR EVEN LOOK AT YOUR ENGINE. They do not honor their warranties or even fix their mistakes. Do not do business with these people.

I have taken my car there twice. The first time was just to get the fluids and filters changed and the the rest of the car checked out because I had just bought it. They did the check and gave me a list of minor discrepancies such as a leaky gasket and old belt.A couple of months later, I dropped off my car for a new alternator. Unfortunately, one of their workers ran into my car with a truck and smashed the right-side rear-end pretty good. Of course they werent very happy to give me that call, but they did so with great professionalism and immediately assured me that thing would be made right. They paid for everything my car needed: fixing the damages and changing the alternator, gasket and belt.They probably spent about a grand out of pocket and didnt even think twice about it. I met several of the employees during this little incident, and they were all very kind and professional. They really are good people running an honest business.

Absolutely incredible service didnt have a problem with corporate procedures and policies regarding installation of distributor and timing after I replace my intake manifold gaskets. I will never go anywhere else sorry guys youre stuck with me now

This place is simply awesome! I went there a little while ago to have multiple repairs done to my car. They gave me an estimate on what I NEEDED to get done then gave me an estimate on what HAD to be done because of my financial situation. I lost my job right after that and they let me pay and stored my car for 2 weeks while I paid them off. FREE OF CHARGE. Who does that anymore?!? These guys are great. Plain and simple

I called around for a part replacement and Auto Mechanic Shops rate was much lower than the other option. They provide a good feature, an online audit of your cars issues with pictures and explanations for you to review. I highly recommend them because now my car runs so much smoother.

I had my AC compressor replaced by Frosty Air in September 2015 and this past month, my AC started giving me problems (of course when it started to get hot). When I called Frosty Air, I found out that they are now owned by Auto Mechanic Shop, Inc. Without hesitation they said they would check my car our and that if the compressor was bad, they would replace it and only charge me the labor. Once they had the car and assessed the problem, it wasnt the compressor but needed a valve (I think). They repaired it in a timely manner, kept me updated to what the car needed. They also noticed that I was due for an oil change andf they called to authorize that. I am very happy with the level of customer service I received and I will definitely use them again.

Car was in an accident and fixed by a large Honda Dealership. Wasnt fixed properly so I brought it here as I had gotten an oil change and other little things done here once before and they were nice. Moved from NY so I didnt know who to trust yet.They found the issues and did a good look over and I sent the bill to the Honda Dealership and it was paid. I now trust this shop to fix things correctly and at a good price. Took in my Mazda for a serpentine belt and power steering flush. The car was squeaking before hand pretty badly. Had it back in two days. Prices were good too, they followed up several times and even alerted me to the suspension needing replaced and motor mount.Getting the car fixed up again for those same repairs now. Would recommend them to anyone. They know how to do good business!

The staff is super friendly! While there I saw them actually give an older customer a ride home because they didnt have any way to drop it off and while they would wait, who would want to? Only negative was I had to come back the next day because the initial problem came back (check engine light came on). Staff got me right in and fixed it and only charged for the part.

Brought in a wheel hub assembly to have a wheel bearing removed and a new one installed. Quick service and for a fair price. Would recommend.

Jimmy Spinelli and Auto Mechanic Shop have been my mechanic for almost 10 years. He and his staff are personalable and friendly. His mechanics are all certified and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and they accept warranties. Thank you for helping my SUV get to 140,000 miles! It still drives like it did when it was brand new.

I have now taken my girlfriends car here twice and I have been highly satisfied both times. The first time we were looking to get her alternator replaced and when I asked for a quote they told me they would check the car out for me for free before they gave me a quote, whether I got the work done with them or not. This really impressed me and Im glad I got the second opinion because they found out that it had been diagnosed wrong and saved me a few hundred dollars by fixing the right thing. They are always professional, fair on pricing, and know their stuff when it comes to auto mechanics. I have only found two mechanic shops ever that I have trusted to work on my vehicles and Auto Mechanic Shop is one of them. They are always going to give you the best price for the best work and in the process they will be very professional and always be willing and able to answer all of your questions. I will be taking my cars here for as long as I live in Orlando.

The staff is great and you definitely feel like they arent just telling you random things wrong with your car that dont need to get fixed. With that said though, quality and honesty comes at a price and Auto Mechanic is a premium on most services compared to other mechanic shops in the area.

Loaned my son the money for an engine overhaul. Three months later the engine was burning over a quart of oil. A reputable business would redo the work and fix the problem . $4000 wasted..

Folks inside were quick, friendly, understanding, and did not attempt to take advantage of me even when I was ready and willing to fork over a decent chunk of change. Will be returning if I have auto problems in the future!

For almost any non-car-guy/gal, going to the mechanic is probably your least favorite thing to do, other than standing in line at the DMV. So when my car wouldnt start - having to take it anywhere was a nightmare for me. However, taking it to the Auto Mechanic Shop was probably the best decision I could have made. Chris and Jimmy both personally walked me through what was wrong with my car, and what the outcomes of those problems were. Unfortunately the problems were more severe than I had anticipated (again, NOT a car guy) but thanks to Jimmy and Chris being honest and kind I knew I wasnt being jerked around. The repairs were made and I can honestly say that the car runs better today than when I bought it used. If youre new to the Winter Park area because of school or for whatever reason - go see these guys for your car, you can trust them with your vehicle. I do.

We live in Connecticut and my son attended school at Full Sail and graduated last year. His Chevy Uplander needed an entire front end and Jimmy and his guys took care of it for what I felt was a reasonable price. 17 months later, the parts failed and we were facing an $1100 re-do, twelve hundred miles away. Jimmy had no reason to cater to us, the warranty was up, hed never see us again and we were of no real value to him or his shop. Well, not only did Jimmy replace the parts at no cost, he paid to have them shipped to us in CT! This is an honorable shop owned by trustworthy gentleman. Cant recommend them highly enough. We are visting the Winter Park area and needed to get a brake light replaced. After looking online, we saw a listing for Auto Mechanic Shop, and it was not only near our loation, but very well reviewed. We arrived, met with Chris (manager) and in approx. 5 minutes we had the light repaired and were on our way. The price was unbeatable, no inconvenience, and very polite and professional treatment. We will definitely recommend that our local relative utilize this shop; we were very pleased with it, in all regards.
