I bought a mower from James today. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my calls and questions. In and out very quickly. Wish buying vehicles was this fast and easy. They also had more inventory than any dealer I’ve been to recently.

I went several places looking for a new mower no one seemed interested in talking to me. I was ready to give up and order a JD, but did one last quick google search for mowers near me and found riddle tractor. I called in expecting the same level of treatment I had received everywhere else and was pleasantly surprised to be mistaken. The receptionist was very friendly and took my info for Matt to contact me back, when he did he also went out of his way to help me. I ended up buying a great mower but the real reason I spent my money here was the level of service I received, even Sam that delivered the mower was extremely friendly. I will be back again thanks again for the level of service!

Extremely nice people! I walked in there told the lady working up front what I was rhere for and she instantly introduced me to James. I explained to James I was in dire need of a new mower and how Ive been denied everywhere in town. Im new to credit, but what little i have is perfect, but still low scores. He basically assured me he could help and that he did!! I was approved for exactly what I was looking for with a more than reasonable down-payment. I will be returning here for any future purchases. One of the only sno-way dealers around. We have bought many plows and salt spreaders from Riddle and they even install plows and spreaders.. they have always taken care of us and they have a great staff.

I dropped off 2 mowers to get worked on and every single time I called to get an update I was out on hold for 20 minutes. Then for 2 or 3 weeks I was told “it’s the next one to be worked on” or “we are just waiting on a part we expect to be delivered today”Talk about a huge waste of time - at the time of this post it has been over a month and a half and I am still getting these same excuses. My advise is to go anywhere else.

For a Christmas present to myself I decided I needed to supplement my Kubota lawn tractor with a zero-turn mower. Riddle had been servicing my Kubota for some time so I phoned them and asked about a mower. After answering a few questions they matched me with a 48 SCAG. I got a great price immediately and ordered it. It was delivered to my home by a fine young guy named Sam Furnette. It was clean, full of gas and Sam made sure I was properly trained to solo on it. When I walk into one of the big-boxes with all the mowers our front Im reminded how much more valuable a purchase is when the product is fully understood and supported by the Seller. Riddle is the right place for that combination.

After my grandfather and I have spent countless thousands of dollars on tractors and scag riding lawn mowers, my grandfather was disrespected from one of the workers here and was extremely rude. We was just looking for a bolt and the guy wants to smart off to my 84 year old grandfather. Hes lucky he still has a a straight nose and we will NEVER be back. So.many other places that actually have standards for their workers. Do your self a favor and go some where else.

Matt does a great job! Had answers to all my questions. Wasnt hardcore or pushy. Offered with out me asking to drop off a Scag Patriot at my house so I can see how it does on hills in my yard. After checking out a few more mowers brands over a few weeks. Stop back at Riddle Tractors and Matr has a great price wating for me on the Scag Patriot.

Riddle Tractor is the nicest place to buy a new or used Tractor, Lawnmower, Implements, what ever you need for your Lawn, Garden, or Farm .Gene Riddle and his staff will work with you any way they can, to help you get what you need and in your price range. They treat you like family and are Christian good people. I mean down to earth, and really willing to help you get what you need . I tried to trade for a Kubota tractor in July when there were several rebates going on but the covid-19 virus had caught up with a lot of Kubotas inventory. Gene looked about 500 miles or more to find one at another dealer, somewhere to get me a new Kubota. Well he found one that had been sitting on a dealers lot for 13 months. Like I thought and he said its going to be faded out some on the color, but I would not want it and I dont think you do. He was right I wanted a new fresh painted and a 2020 model Kubota Grand L 40-60. Sooo he said he had one supposed to be in the last of October and another one in December if I could wait ! Well I didnt want to miss the rebates and discounts that were good only through July. Gene said we would work up the price and rebates and discounts and would only go up $100 if the rebates went off. So he called me last week and said the Tractor was there but they had to put the loader, tooth bar, load the tires, and check it out and get me a scrape blade, set of forks, and a bushog, together and he would deliver it Thursday, well I can barely walk using a walker and could not lift my leg high enough to get on the tractor, Soo I called Gene and we talked about the step on the tractor so I said if it had two step rungs instead of one I think I can get on it ok. Well I left it in his hands and he took a step off another tractor and bolted and supported it to the bottom of the existing step and brought it to me Friday morning, and it worked perfectly . I still got the tractor for the price we agreed on in July and no extra charge for making a new, better step so I am able to get on it easier. Those guys are awesome, and they will treat you like family. I greatly appreciate what they did for me. There service dept is also great I have used them about 3 times over the last 8 or so years. Amazing experience repairing my mower. I have been in the landscaping business 30 years and decided to give riddle tractor a try at servicing one of my kubotas. Tony the mechanic went above and beyond to make my mower right. He sharpened the blades better than I have ever seen anyone sharpen a mower blade before. Truely impressed with his work to something as simple as sharpening a blade. Also they fixed my mower in a timely manor. Do yourself a favor and give riddle a try. I’m glad I did.

Always heard they were fair and good to deal with. Wanted to trade a Gravely 260 Z with 500 hours. Was told the Tiger Cat with the 23.5 engine was the Scag comparison to mine. This Tiger Cat is nowhere near the same as the 260 Gravely.It compares to the 160 gravely but they wouldnt admit it !!I went on line to the scag website and they call the tiger a small frame mower. The sales rep insisted to me that it is a large frame like my gravely. I tried the scag cheetah and it does compare to the gravely, but they wanted right much more for it. I told them that I took a lesser trade in amount on mine against the tiger cat, and I feltthat maybe I should get a little more for mine trading for a more expensive mower. They wouldnt do this and in leaving I said that I would talk to the scag dealer in Greensboro and I could come to riddle for service. The salesman told me that I couldnt do this because, we only service what we sell ! I said, arent you a scag dealer his reply was yes, but we can do that. They claim to be the #1 dealer, but I would be careful about this. They are typical in my opinion, just fine when the sale is going their way with all the talk about how good the dealer is, but changing face when things go a different way. They have been there a long time and I am sure they have a lot of happy customers, but, you may be the next unhappy customer after me !!!!!!!! Let me add 2 weeks later, I demoedthe John Deere 930 M and it runs circles around the Scag Cheetah, and has a better price. TheCheetah does have a better ride, but I didnt buy for the ride! The Deere runs 10 mph which is plentyfast for 95% of the time. I tried the Cheetah at full speed and it is dangerous in my opinion. Deerecuts just as well and handles much, much, better than the Scag. The response on the controlsis absolutely fantastic without near the spins as the Scag had. I tried 4 different top brands on the exact same yards, one week apart. All are a little different in one way or another, but the Deere 930M came out overall !! Everyone has always talked about holding on a hill, well the Deere heldbetter on the 2 hills that I have problems with by far. The Cheetah wouldnt even stay up hardly at all!This is just my opinion and we all have one. Best thing to do is not buy on name or reputation,these are 2 things kinda from the past. To me you should watch the selling features, such as a2 speed rear end, which only has I think 2 mph difference, but a bunch of parts that can go bad !!I decided to take my time, and try to make the best decision for me, because no matter what the salesman says, Its all on you, after you buy!! Try the Deere dealer in Pfaff Town NC, I found everything to be as they said, when I tried there machine. I had no preference when I started!!Hope this helps, but like I said, this my opinion, and you need to make your own!!!! Good Luck !!came out on top overall in my opion

Bought a blower to them for repair. Echo. Im a home owner. This place is geared towards commercial sales. People were less than friendly. I wasnt told what was wrong with blower just given an invoice for an air filter...fuel filter and spark plug. Total cost 88.00. $65.00 for labor. I had already changed air filter and fuel filter. They just gave me the blower and invoice. Invoice had a line item for 8.00 entitled misc.shop.exp. I asked about it and they said it was first anything they did in the shop like throwing out oil. A bit too harsh of a place for me to return too. I felt very uncomfortable there.
