Dr. Vu was very friendly and took his time with our appointments. Every office staff member seemed to have such a positive attitude. The glasses and contacts promotions are a great value! We will definitely be sticking with Dr. Vu!

Customer service was okay enough but definitely not great. Called ahead to say Id be running a few minutes late, they politely said thats ok then called me when I got into their parking lot to tell me its been 1 minute since you called but were gonna have to cancel your appointment. I just drove 30 minutes to get here just to be told they will not see me because its the policy. I totally understand policies but to be told it would be ok then to be called 1 minute later to say they are canceling was completely rude! She wouldnt even let me talk to the eye doctor about working me in.

I was told by the general manager that is wasIn my best interest to pay out of pocket rather than use my insurance and that was NOT TRUE. She wanted to make commission and if I would not have canceled the order it would have cost me 400 dollars plus more. My wife ordered the same glasses and used our insurance and it cost 150.00 and I went in a few months later and it was 595.00 PURE DECEPTION!!!!!!I WILL MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT MONDAY WITH THE HOME OFFICE. I cancelled order and she wanted to give me half off when she should have given me a discount from the start.

Very unprofessional called yesterday and was told my glasses that I had to pay out of pocket for would be here today! I called and they tell me my frames were on back order….no one thought to even call me and tell me about this at all!

Do not use this location. Poor management or something systematic. After over half a year of warped frames, scratched frames and delay after delay, we were forced to accept glasses that look used with a lens that has “a cosmetic issue” of scalloping well into the lens.Do not use this location until they fix their hiring problem. Over half a year of waiting only to receive substandard frames that look used with scalloping on the lens. Corporate response? “You have used all remakes on this pair of glasses.” It is not my fault that they don’t know how to fit the lenses into the products they sell.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Took over 9 months to get a damaged yet finally functional pair of glasses.Due to this company’s ineptitude, my glasses had to be remade MULTIPLE TIMES not due to any fault of my own. Then Customer relations states “the remakes on my order have be EXHAUSTED” so they are taking the FULL amount of my money and leaving me with a DAMAGED product. This is after wasting HOURS of my time!!! Please read below for the full background:This started before COVID with the lenses warping the frames to the point of requiring a new and different set of frames.The new pair was given to me with scuffs from putting the lenses in improperly and the corner protective coating is chipping away already. They said this was acceptable cosmetic damage.I did not wait over 9 months for a damaged set of frames. Extremely poor customer service and terrible quality.

I visited two weeks ago for an annual exam and saw Dr. Vu. Im guessing the doctor who saw me was new to this location because I have not seen him before. Dr. Vu was hands down the best eye doctor I have ever had an exam with! He actually took the time to address the concern I was having with my vison even though it honestly didnt change my prescription much. He was nice and definitely educated me as the patient on how my eyes changed since my last visit. It sounds bad but I never get the dilation drops and I have forgot that my insurance never covers the fee for the photos of your eye so many times that I almost never get that part of the exam done. So this time I came in and actually brought my wallet but couldnt find my debit card at first so I didnt take the pictures until after my exam when I found my debit card.. Dr. Vu was very nice to take the time to still explain what I was looking at after he reviewed the pictures of my eye even though Im sure there couldve been a time crunch. I just got a feeling from him and my boyfriend did too that saw him a month prior that he is extremely passionate about what he does and wants patients to leave with a better understanding of their vision.I honestly had a feeling that the communication or something is off with the optometric assistants, front staff, and or sales associates? During my visit there we long wait times, long periods of time where the staff wasnt out front, and while the assistants were very nice I could hear them talking from the exam room.I had an appointment that I needed to reschedule due to a family emergency and was never contacted again after leaving a few messages so after waiting three weeks, I had to make the appointment I am writing this review about.The sales associates were really pushy but since they helped me find an amazing pair of glasses I didnt really mind. It was a little off-putting to get the feeling that they dont think you know what sales tactics are.The optometric assistant that primarily saw me seemed nice but the front staff seem to be getting the short end of the communication stick. Like I mentioned before... nobody tried to make another appointment with me when I called to reschedule and every time I have called this location I have been placed on hold for at least half an hour so I would have to call back when the lines hung up to finally reach somebody. I got a new number yesterday and I called this location today to find out if my glasses were in stock and was okay with being told that they were not in yet because its only been two weeks.About an hour ago, I picked up my old phone and saw that this location had called me before I called them today so I was curious if there was an issue or if perhaps my glasses were actually in already. I called again and got placed on hold while the staff member investigated why I was called this morning until the phone hung up on me like it normally does when I call this facility. I called again and was told from a aggravated sounding employee that she was unsure why they called my phone this morning so I hung up. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she was just aggravated that she couldnt get answers to tell me but I get anxiety from feeling like they dont know what going on. Like I can understand being aggravated at other staff members but its a little off-putting when it feels like theyre blaming you.They are still a very good eye care facility and there are employees that definitely make it a good experience for me I just feel like there is something off preventing all the different professionals in my eye doctor the fully function with one another like some of the other reviews suggest.

I just want to say that I am so great full I found this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I need some glasses since I lost the last ones the exam was so easy and smooth and when it was time to pick some glasses I was offered deals and options. Thank you so much I’m excited for my new glasses to come in now.

We love coming to myeyedr everyone is always so friendly especially Ashley she is the BEST. Always smiling and the most up beat attitude. My 4 yr old loves when we come by because Ashley always entertains him with color papers and stickers.

Most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. They have no patient care. They want to get you off the phone as fast as they can even if that means they have to tell lies to do so. I would compare them to Burger King..... they want you in and out, there a franchise, and having no understanding of forming relationships with patients. Most disrespectful people I have ever meet too. No wonder they have 3.5 stars. If you are interested in trying to part of there office please read all of the negative reviews!

Trying to get my records faxed to my NEW optometrist. Visited in person. Records not received. Called and had them fax them again. Still not received. Called, now answer, now answer, then was put on hold for 13 minutes!! Had to call back again, gave them the fax# and asked them to fax it AGAIN. Waiting to see if they can get this right. Either they need more staff, better staff or both!

There are some flaws in how business is ran at this eye doctor. I called to make an appointment and when I showed up the person I had talked to wrote my appointment down but never actually scheduled it so I had to come back again. The time that I come back, I am brought back to a waiting room and then was forgotten for almost 40 minutes. My prescription for my contacts came back the first time wrong. I went to get them fixed and they ordered the wrong type again. The employees are incredibly nice and respectful but there are some serious issues on how this office is functioning.

They tell me one day they messed up making my glasses and then tell me the next day they got lost in the mail. Either way Im now going on week #3 waiting for these glasses. Had to call twice to get answers as the first individual I spoke with said they would call me back but never bothered. Clearly customer service is not a priority here at all!! Once I finally get to pick up my new glasses I will never be returning and I will make sure everyone I know does not either.

I called myeyedr today in Winston Salem NC and spoke with Crystal she was so friendly. I wasnt sure who our vision insurance was with and she stayed on the phone with me trying to work through it for 15 minutes. Never rushed me one time and I was all over the place. Trying to look it up online and trying to find the card or trying to check my benefits at work. She went above and beyond her job today and delivered a perfect customer service experience!!

Just spent 10 minutes on hold trying to make an appointment! Whoever put me on hold didn’t even check back in one single time to let me know they hadn’t forgot about me. So I hung up and called Dr. Butterworths office who answered right away. Maybe Dr. Davis office doesn’t need anymore patients. The receptionist said they were very busy. Too busy to be courteous on the phone I guess.

I am new to the area and picked MyEyeDr because it is close to my house; however, I will not be going back.My first appointment, I had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen (in addition to arriving early) and the entire appointment took 2 hours (maybe this is normal? not my experience, though). The assistants were friendly and helpful, but Dr. Davis was gruff and seemed annoyed that she had to see me. I was given a new prescription, despite the fact that I had no problems with my old one, but I was open to the chance that it had changed. Dr. Davis told the sales person that I would be buying a year supply (I didnt agree to this) and when I told the sales person I didnt want to get contacts yet today and wanted to look online to compare prices, the sales person tried to talk me into it anyway, giving me a disappointing shake of the head on my way out.I tried the new prescription for a few days and it gave me a headache and trouble reading, so I scheduled a follow-up (no charge, friendly front desk). Again, the assistant was helpful. Again, Dr. Davis was grouchy, telling me that I hadnt worn them long enough to settle (I tried them 4 days) and that I had probably put them in wrong (No, I followed the instructions). She quickly wrote me a new prescription without bothering to double check it on the machines. Again, she told the sales person I wanted a year subscription without asking me. Same check-out experience of being pushed around and my wishes not respected.Well, my contact prescription is still not perfect and not the same as the prescription I used to have that worked so well. But, Id honestly rather have this almost-correct prescription than go back to MyEyeDr and Dr. Davis yet again. MyEyeDr seems to have some good reviews, but unfortunately my experience has left me looking for a new eye doctor! I have only ever had one other eye doctor my whole life, and was hoping not to have to shop around.Two stars for the friendly and sweet (overworked) assistants!

I am not a patient of this facility; however, my parents are patients. I used my google map to find this location on the day of my mothers appointment and I was taken to an empty parking lot nearby. After getting my mother checked in I advised the front desk of the mishap just as a FYI. I would have been better off talking to the wall. No acknowledgement what so ever....basically just rude....I am certain I did not interrupt anyone from working because one of the young ladies spoke so loud regarding her break she was getting ready to take. On a better note the doctor was very polite. He came out and introduced himself and gave me an detailed update on my mothers exam. The wait was very long.

Very unprofessional, lacks basic customer service skills. They see their customers as dollar signs instead of human beings. Also they will promise to call you back, but they never do. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

Terrible experience. Took them two months to finally get my mothers prescription right. They kept having to send the glasses back because the put the wrong prescription in them. To top it off they straight up lied to my mother and gave her glasses she did not even pick out that we’re bigger on her face then the ones she picked. Said they had “stretched out” when they put her lenses in. If you want glasses you didn’t even pick out and have them lie to you about it and want to wait two months for your glasses this is the place to go.

The lady i saw was super rude off the jump. I wasn’t even suppose to go to My eye doctor o was suppose to go somewhere else. But being that i had my eye doctor back home in my hometown thought it would be simple to just switch. Well i went because i keep getting the pink eye and my job won’t let me come to work with a matted draining runny red eye and i get the pink eye at least 4 times and year in both eyes well the lady i saw was rude maybe that’s her personality but she was like it wasn’t pink eye it was an eye infection and wanted me to use these drops well it took over a week to get the drops from my CVS i use and i kept calling them and her CVS said they didn’t get it so when i did my follow up she blamed me for picking CVS and said i should have did Walgreens i wasn’t able to get glasses because my insurance wasn’t going to pay for it and it wasn’t by my eye doctor she wanted me to go to Walmart to get a cheap pair and i was fine with that but again my insurance basically said i have to stay at one place to get everything. Then the drops wasn’t working my eyes finally stopped being red but she claim they still was the drops were burning my eyes and doing a reverse effect on me ans causing my eyes to drain i tried to explain to her everything that was happening she plainly said she didn’t care and dropped me as a patient which was fine cause i really don’t think she knew what she was talking about anyways she’s just super rude and i am very not please with my whole experience there never again. I wouldn’t recommend to go to her

If you value your time, I don’t recommend coming here for an eye exam. I swore last time we saw this doctor (formerly at Visionworks) that we wouldn’t be back. I thought maybe since they were at a new location it would be different so gave them another chance. If you decide to come here just make sure you block out two hours of your day to spend waiting and being moved around from room to room.
