Ardmore coffee is a nice but simple little coffee shop on Hawthorne Street in Ardmore. Mainly coffee drink with a few baked goods. A lot of nice complementary businesses nearby. There’s a place to get hotdogs, ice cream, a novelty beer store, and a barbershop and shave

Nice and cool place to get iced coffee in the summer. I had the rose syrup flavor and an everything bagel. Non-dairy options available.

Small and cozy coffee shop. Got the peppermint mocha latte and flat white maple. Both were delicious, not too sweet and had good flavor but wasn’t fake tasting. Barista was very kind and welcoming.

Great service, great pandemic precautions, great drinks! Some outdoor seating is available but I got espresso drinks to-go. I tried their horchata (cinnamon rice milk) and I would love to get this again in a black tea or latte! The Bees Knees summer special is a perfect blend of sweet and savory - what a treat!

Innovative and thoughtful. Got the seasonal blueberry cold brew - blueberry forward, florally and surprisingly not sweet; no fake cough syrup-esque flavors here, all house-made coffee additions. Wife ordered an oat milk hazelnut latte; they don’t skimp on the coffee as the sizes go up which we love because so many places in the city keep the espresso count the same and just dilute with milk, leaving…mostly milk. Get yourself down to this neighborhood favorite nestled next to some other great businesses and support local!

They have their own custom blend of coffee which gives a little bit of a smoky after taste which I really like.

Its a nice little place, great atmosphere. The barista was a very sweet lady. Nice selection of drinks with great prices. Little variety of sweets up front and a little station to add things like sugar in your coffee and whatnot. In case you get muffins, bread, bagels, etc. Theres a station in the back with a microwave and a toaster. Very convenient. Theres also complementary water. I ordered a cortado and cinnamon bread, very good!

I saw someone say the Chai Tea was weak and watery, but I tried one anyways. They were right. Very weak and watery...I threw it away.

It is easy 2 find on Hawthorne Rd right across the street from Food Lion between both hospitals. There was no line & the employee behind the counter was quick, knowledgeable & kind. He didnt have change 2 break my $100 & was going 2 just let me have my cappuccino but the kind lady behind me just added my drink 2 her bill! (Thank u so very much!) So there r nice people n the neighborhood as well! They have good prices (cheaper than Starbucks) & a good variety of choices (they even have a chart on the wall explaining what is n each choice & the amount n each so u can find out the difference between a latte, a cappuccino, an espresso, a cafe au lait, etc). They have places 2 sit inside as well as a small bench area 2 sit outside the shop. I will definitely b returning especially since they arent just open n the morning (it was lunchtime when I went). I got the cinnamon maple cappuccino & the creme brulee latte... They were both delicious!

My favorite place to get coffee. The drinks are great, the staff is friendly and the location is perfect in Ardmore Village. If you go during non-peak hours, theres a nice seating area outside. Theyve also been really on top of COVID safety measures, including having people line up outside the store while waiting to order, and the baristas are always masked.

Love this little neighborhood coffee shop. The staff and regulars are great to talk to. Some of their special menu items are so good, I wish they were around all the time.I do wish they had a few more food options, especially something for those with special diets.

GREAT COFFEE! Moving to the area and needed a new cool cup of coffee in the hot afternoon. The iced latte was delicious! They accommodated my lactose intolerance and used almond milk. Definitely excited to be a part of their rewards system haha.

This is such a lovely hole in the wall place, full of friendly faces and wonderful coffee. The seasonal drinks are innovative, unique, and high quality for reasonable prices. All of the baristas are inviting and personable, making this a great spot to meet a friend or get some work done.

A bit cramped inside; but, very cozy. Lots of outdoor seating; yet, no umbrellas to protect from the sun. The polar ice cap I ordered was perfect and tasted great. The strawberry muffin was fresh and yummy. The prices were reasonable. Looking forward to going back.

Eclectic and comfortable neighborhood coffee shop. Each cup of coffee is brewed for you. If you like fancy coffee drinks, thry have plenty of those too! Service is excellent and all the patrons are friendly. Free books and movies. You can take some and/or leave some.

Quaint coffee shop. Good tea and coffee. Could use a rearrangement of furniture in the back because I find that more (singles) get coffee than large groups who need a couch to sit on. Many pairs of people came to find a seat in the back, but left because it wouldve been awkward to share the only remaining couch with us (who was already sitting down).

The music is the first thing I noticed - it was relaxing and upbeat. I wish more coffee shops had music like Ardmore Coffees. I ordered a small Chamomile Mint tea ($1.67). There were no more baked goods (I came in at 4:00 PM and theyre usually gone by noon). I stayed toward the front of the store because the window seats were open and I enjoy the natural light. The floor could have been swept and everything else seems to be in order. I wish there were more muffins...

Small but cozy. Plenty of coffee options and if you get there early in the morning there are baked goods. Dogs are welcome outside. Baristas are always friendly and when you can support local!

I really dont know why anybody goes to Starbucks anymore except in a pinch when nothing else is available. Especially with the high quality coffee at places like Ardmore Coffee, it just doesnt make sense. The coffee is just so much better than the burnt beans from Starbucks. Give your sbux habit a break and visit Ardmore. You wont go back, I promise you that!

Small, cozy coffee shop with great art and atmosphere. Friendly staff, good coffee, extensive selection of cappuccinos as well as hot and cold coffee drinks (though I rarely drink anything more exotic then a cold press so I cant speak to them). Usually quieter then some of the larger coffee shops in Winston making this the perfect place to read or meet up without being pressed by a throng of other patrons.

Ardmore coffee is the best. I meet with friends every Friday morning and there is always room to sit, talk, and enjoy good coffee. I am normally a black coffee guy, but their mochas are better than starbucks!Also, they have a lot of electric outlets so if you need to work or study it is really accommodating. Definitely my go to place in Winston Salem.

Of the many coffee shops I have been to, Ardmore has an awesome selection of homemade syrups. I strongly believe good lattes are comprised of excellent beans, careful execution and quality and homemade syrups. I highly recommend expanding your horizons of coffee here by trying one of their unique syrups. Bonus points to Ardmore for having Oatly Oat Milk available as a dairy alternative. I don’t have any allergies pushing me away from cows milk, Oatly is just that good. It makes a better latte than real milk. Believe it and try it for yourself!

This place is awesome. Megan was able to help me out with everything including what was what on the Menu. She made sure everything was to our liking and let us sample the n2 coffee. Love it!

I love this place. You will have to wait a little bit because they often only have one person making drinks, but it is worth it. Great atmosphere for studying, but it does fill up fast.

This is a small local cafe that offers coffee and sweet snacks. The brew was that of most other shops around. Seating area in back could stand a refresh.

Very nice little neighborhood coffee shop. They are cheaper than most of the coffee shops in Winston-Salem and they have a very unique selection. They also have good seasonal drinks as well, many of which you cannot get at other coffee shops. And, contrary to popular belief, the baristas are friendly people, all you have to do is talk to them as if they are human beings and not lowly peons.The only problem I have with this coffee shop is the fact that people let their kids run around it as if they are in a playground. It is extremely annoying and distracting, especially in a small place like this.

This is a local coffee shop in a small line of stores and shops in the Ardmore area. The coffee and baked goods are very good. Offerings are plentiful. What struck me was the boho shabbiness of the shop. No problem with boho chic except for the flooring that has not been replaced in about 50 years.

While this coffee shop had really good drinks and seating, the baristas were very rude. One bashed children, families, and rich people very loudly. I understand venting about work or frustrations, as I have worked with difficult people before in customer service, but this shouldnt be loud enough for the whole coffee shop to hear. I am not a parent, but I work with kids and found it very appalling.

This is a nice coffee shop if you just want coffee. Not a great place if youre wanting to camp out and work -- every time Ive worked from here, the internet has either been terribly spotty or completely out. They sorely need to update their internet capability; dont bank on being able to do any work from here.
