Wood and Thread Boutique is a fantastic local boutique. There clothing and accessories are fashionable and unique. I love the ambiance that they have created in their store and the personal service is very refreshing and makes for a wonderful shopping experience.
Wood & Threat is one of my favorite local boutiques! They always have a great variety from comfy, cute, trendy, and seasonal items to nice cocktail and work dresses. Quality jeans and fun gifts as well! The ladies that work their also provide amazing, personalized customer service.
This is a sweet little shop! I discovered Wood and Thread last year while visiting my hair stylist next door. The clothing and accessories are carefully curated, so I know that I will always find something unique and interesting. Who wants to be dressed like everyone else? Ive had terrific luck finding my size on most occasions, and on one recent visit when my size wasnt available in an item I loved, the owner took my name and called me when it came in. I really appreciate that kind of personal service, and I love the variety and quality of the items.
Best Boutique in Winston Salem !!! They have the cutest clothes and gifts !! Recommend it to anyone
Love this store! The owner is so kind and helped me find what I was looking for!
Cute little store. The owner is incredibly sweet. She wanted to make sure all the items fitted me. They have something for every occasion which is always helpful. I’m more on the thicker side so the clothes do seem to run a bit smaller so I had to go up a size while trying it on. I purchased two dresses which I do love to this day.
My son was shopping out of town when he discovered a boutique called Wood and Thread. He found a shirt he thought I would like so he purchased it and gave it to me for my birthday. It was too small so I called to see if I could return it and get his money back. The clerk who identified herself as a manager, told me the only way to receive a refund was to return the item in person within seven days. I explained that I live two hours away and I requested that I be able to mail the shirt back and receive a refund issued to my sons credit card. The clerk told me I had to return the item in person within seven days for a refund or after seven days she could only issue a store credit. I explained that I live two hours away and asked asked if she could make an exception and extend the time by a few days to allow time to travel to Winston Salem. She said no, I can not, thats our company policy. I then asked for the owner who was not presently available. The manager said the owner would be in the following day. I asked her if she could leave a message for the owner to call me the following day and she said yes.At 4:00 PM the following day, she had not returned my call so I called the store again. This time I was abbe to speak with the owner. I explained the situation and asked for her to extend the time by a few days to allow time to get there. She said, no I am a small business and this is my policy. I asked her to please make an exception of a few days and she again said no.So I got in my car and drove 114 miles to the store and spoke with the owner in person. She asked to see the receipt. I didnt have a receipt because our son was not provided with a receipt, the transaction was provided by Square. The owner asked if I could call our son and see if he had received a receipt via email and he had not received a receipt. So without a receipt, after driving 114 miles she did not allow me to receive a refund and I was forced to exchange the shirt for a larger size. This was one of the most inexcusable customer service experiences I have every had. My husband and I have a small business and as a business owner I cant imagine treating customers this way. Obviously, I will never return.
This is the best little boutique! Theresa and her shop are so Awesome. She has great clothes and gifts that you cant find anywhere else. I love this shop!
Wood and Thread Boutique is the perfect boutique in downtown Winston-Salem! They have everything from activewear to loungewear to casual to dressy - something for EVERY occasion! Also, they have incredible taste in jewelry, bags, candles, and bath bombs! The owner is one of the sweetest, kindest, and genuine individuals. She takes the time to check-in on her clients and make them feel welcome in her store! She always takes the time to talk about the clothing and answer any and all questions regarding items in her store. Wood and Thread Boutique is an asset to Winston-Salem. I am so thankful for this boutique (since I own a ton of their clothes) because WS doesn’t have as many boutiques! I HIGHLY recommend this boutique and know you will have an incredible experience AND walk out with an adorable purchase!
