I’ve been with Verizon for years, however I’ve noticed ever time I upgrade my phone it’s worst then going to a used card dealer! So I bought a iPhone 12 and a watch before the 13 dropped to get a better deal1500 dollars later and 3 billing cycles later Verizon claims I owe them another 944 really…. Check this conversation this is jilt the last one, any suggestions on a better carrier?
Stopped by to help my cousin get his new cell phone activated. He isnt very tech savvy (at all). This Verizon store is at the corner of Stratford and Hanes Mall Blvd. In Winston Salem. Directly between Jared and The Mattress Firm. In front of the Sams Club and just before you get to Chick-fil-A. Ask for Charlie, he was a very polite and knowledgeable Tech. He had the phone fixed and updated within ten minutes. We had about a ten minute wait but that was fine!
Had to wait approximately an hour to talk with someone. Needed a phone switched over to another one. She said everything was good to go. After I got home the next state over I only had FB, text & messaging.Everything I needed to pay bills wasnt on there I could not install them. The phone would read that is not compatible with this phone. Also my phone would not make or receive calls & the Galax, Va store charges $35 + tax to change a phone over for you.Other stores dont charge this fee. Was very dissatisfied with this service & visit
I had the most unbelievable experience with Verizon as an organization and locally with the store located off of Stratford Road in Winston-Salem.For over a month I had to contend with dropped calls, no access to the 5g server, no access to wifi calling and the inability to send and receive text messages without delay. As a loyal customer with greater than 5 years patronizing this company, I was appalled at their customer service as they failed to be transparent regarding software issues with the Samsung Note 20 which they continued to sell.In the past month I spent approximately 15 hours calling the customer service line and being placed on hold greater than 30 minutes each time to put in tickets with no resolution, and traveling to the store to get guidance about options. Over the past month Ive had the network reset, gotten a new Sims card, and attempted to get a new phone under the buyers remorse program. All of my efforts were unsuccessful and to add insult to injury I received my bill with the request for payment for services that were not rendered.Today after spending over an hour on the phone I was advised to go to the store that I made the purchase. I traveled to the store and they were unable to take the phone back without the box. I went home got the box to come back and be told that the manager was gone, and they couldnt access the information to complete the transaction. What was most concerning was that I had been to the store several times in the last month with the same concerns that were escalated to management. What is disheartening is that they had no protocol in place to address problems in the absence of management. More importantly, I still have a phone that doesnt function and my husband who has the same phone has had the same experience with a phone that we have had for a month.
Tried to sell me a phone which was twice as expensive as the one I wanted. After checking the verizon website he said the phone would not be available. for over 2 weeks. I went out to my car and checked the app and ordered my phone which will be at my house in 2 days. The lying to customers seems like the business practice of the day,
The information for the store says that everyone is required to wear a mask, however, when we entered the store there were 3 people inside without masks.If you want to stand around and watch the employees dance, chat w each other, and generally ignore you, then you will love this store! But if you want to get help w a phone, FORGET THIS STORE. The employees are rude and unhelpful.

Had a late appt. and was told I had to go another route. Already had spent a lot of time on the phone trying to fix my problem. Then I told I must make an appt for help. My day off work and Verizon has not helped me resolve my phone issues. You get a star for opening the door but satisfaction stopped there.
Waited around for over 30 minutes while multiple employees stood around having a good time. Talking, laughing, etc. Left without receiving help

Went there to pay off phone and disconnect service for my deceased sister..got a female person, she took my payment to pay off our phones but didn’t help me with disconnection. She gave me a number to call. I left and came back and a kind gentleman helped me through the process. I was overall disappointed so I switched carriers..
We went to get a phone and came out with nothing. No one would even talk to us while trying to buy the phone. It wasn’t even busy and we still couldn’t get help.
The employees said I could not order a KYOCERA duraforce pro 2 because I was on a prepaid phone plan I had to come back home and order it online also their wait time was aweful I saw 6 or 7 employees in the store two or three people left because they said wait times were from 30 to 45 minutes long I waited 45 minutes just for them to say they could not order it for me
This was a very good visit from the customer service worker Venus she did a very well professional job from start to finish... then at the store in Winston Salem on Strafford Rd Name Corey and Javin who assisted with getting me the right equipment I needed. I was assisted and treated very well...Thank you all for the service

The tropical storm had the power out at my house and they let me charge my phone. I bought a car charger from them and the lady even fixed my issues with the sound on my speakerphone! They were great!!

Smh. Do not order online for in-store pickup. It will take them all day. Literally. Ordered AirPod pros from website to be picked up. Arrived at store almost 3 hours later. “Order isn’t ready, still processing”. What? Rep states he’s sees my order in the system but you can’t retrieve a simple item that I already paid for? Wow. Highly upset and disappointed.
I have had better service before I was told later by customer service that my phone wouldnt pair because it didnt recognize the SIM card I took it back the next day and dealt with another associate who told me I had a old SIM card in it so he put a new one in and made sure it worked properly before I left. I was left with negative feelings about this business and I may take my business to people I can trust. I ordered a case for my phone on 3/6/2020 and today is the 12th and it hasnt been delivered yet Im very angry and disappointed in the service I received.

Theyre so friendly and helpful here, I was impressed. The associate couldnt find the phone we wanted at first, but kept looking and eventually figured out where it was hidden and what happened. By far the best experience Ive ever had at a Verizon Wireless retailer. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted. Soon after checking in, a solutions specialist, Jeremy H., assisted me with picking out a new phone tailored to my lifestyle. He was able to decipher why my current phone wasnt performing to my expected standards and made logical suggestions for which phone I should upgrade to in terms of needs for storage and durability, etc.. All in all, I am beyond satisfied with my new phone, its functionality, and my new accessories. But more importantly, Im even happier that regardless of having little to no technological expertise, Jeremy kindly answered all of my questions in a patient, coherent manner and ensured that I left the store satisfied.Highly recommend this Verizon location!! Great, energetic, and kind people.

The wait time was expected considering the time of day I went, but Charlie was great!Hes very upfront & honest about user experience, while being funny & lighthearted. My visit didnt take short long b/c he knows how to read people &, therefore, gets them what they need quickly. He also goes the extra mile to make sure the customer leaves satisfied with their purchase.I normally dont do reviews or surveys, but this experience made it worth it.

We had a lovely experience in the store with Charlie helping us, he was very personable and seemed to be knowledgeable about getting us the best deal possible with adding a line and purchasing a new smartphone. However, after everything was initiated and I received the first bill, it was clear that he was not so knowledgeable. He assured us we would be eligible for a $200 port rebate, even writing the instructions to apply for it on the paperwork we got, but after submitting the information since, as I do not have an unlimited plan, found it was not actually eligible for a rebate. He additionally did not include the $20 a month smartphone access fee into the monthly bill estimate he gave us in the store. I feel very misled looking back on the interaction we had, and likely would not have added the line if we had been given all of the information accurately out of the gate.

Under COVID restrictions it was as good as it could get. I wish they were allowed to help activate phones like they did before COVID. I made an appointment the day before.
They didnt have any phones in stock and the salesman acted like we was bothering him. He had no knowledge of the phones or what they had on display.
Greeted nicely....However I came in to get a phone charger only and it took me going up to an associate after finding what I came in for to be helped... I understand my purchase wasnt up there on big commissions list but Im still a customer who needs help too...Maybe Verizon should invest in self checkout areas for small purchases like mine so they we dont bother the associates who are CLEARLY there for big purchases ONLY.....
Was sent to this corporate store By Verizon online help to fix an activation problem with a new iPhone 8. They spent all of 5 minutes and sent me on my way saying the brand new phone was “DOA” dead on arrival. Even talked to the manager who agreed with the tech that the phone was inactivatable. This is a brand new right out of the box phone?????Took it to Best Buy and they fixed it immediately with a software update. love best buy. How sad it is that a corporate store doesn’t have the skill to activate a phone on their own network but Best Buy has zero issues.
Expensive phones, got my S10 $250 less from Amazon and it-s unlocked.They only display most recent models to push sales.When I told the guy I couldnt care less for an S20 then I could tell I was a bother to him.
Brought our own phone to hook up to service and was told it wasnt compatible. Went home and did it online and its been working no problem ever since.
It was towards the end of the night so I forgive the shirt answers and the lack of salesmanship. But the prices there are horrendous... I went to Best Buy right after and the Galaxy Note 10+ was $300 cheaper and still had the same promotional offers.

Rude and unprofessional staff! I will not go back in this store again after the way I was treated last time (and Im not going to get into the details because its too long). I go out of my way and drive to Salisbury now and it is definitely worth it. They are very helpful and friendly. Would recommend Salisbury to anyone.

Came in this afternoon, I asked for someone who was patient because I had a big issue that I thought was complicated. Stephen was at the door when I walked in and helped me with my problem. He was great, super patient and explained to me clearly my options and the pricing on everything. I did not plan on getting another phone so soon but because his customer service was so great, my night ended in a very smooth manner. So thank you to Stephen for being so patient and kind to me.
I was #13 in line. I understand a wait, but this was ridiculous. The store seemed clean and had items in stock. I left when I noticed team member talking amongst themselves and customers where standing around. I went to another Verizon store and bought a phone and watch.
I came to the Stratford location to sign up for a new plan and purchase 2 new phones. A very nice gentleman helped me choose my phones and helped me choose my plans. I had a great sales associate name Sal who was very well versed in todays technology and worked efficiently to get me what I want at a price I can afford. He was wonderful!!! Ask for him when you go...you will not be disappointed!

I went in to see if I was eligible for an upgrade. Turns out I was. My representative, Dom, made the transition easy and answered all my questions and concerns with intelligence. Walked in Sales person all the way across the room. I ask about international calling for out of country travel. He said do it on web site. I then ask about the Note 9. He states here is the Note 9 you can play with it and if you have questions I will answer them. I asked the price 999. I had to ask forrrrrr, he said 128, I then inquired about how long will it take to fill it up. Answer - depends how you use it. I then inquire about the 512. He said I think 150.00 more. I ask the price per month, He states 7.00 dollars more. I did not know the price per month for the 128. I said pk and walked out. Verizon does not want to sell to loyal customers. He has no customer service. I am very disappointed with the way I was treated.
Always a horrible wait. For example, I waited over an hour to pay a cash bill. Even while other customers came in and paid and did not need to be on thewait list. Not to mention the horrible customer service and ther constant need to push way priced sales. Definitely do your research before signing a contract with these rip offs. Furthermore, they offered me unlimited service and then proceeded to offer me ultra unlimited...... unlimited should be unlimited.

Terrible signage. Not everyone buys the newest, trendiest, most expensive phones...and not everyone has time to research everything out there on the market.Not a single piece of technology had any sort of name or price tag or specs. Actually, u think maybe 3 phones way in back did.Just not an easy shopping experience at all. I ended up just doing it on the app and waiting around til their system updated to reflect that Id shown my photo ID 10-15 minutes prior.

Not the most helpful staff. Probably due to inadequate training.Update: I went to buy an OtterBox for my dads tablet. I called the store and had it put aside for me. Alls well and good I thought. I get to the store and the product is scanned so I can buy it. Then we hit a glitch. The product was on hold to ship back to the warehouse. The manager finally stepped in, but she couldnt fix the problem either. The OtterBox was in her hand! She tried to order another one from the warehouse and then hopefully the one in her hand could be released for sale, but NO. Talk about frustrating and just plain silly. Forget it. Never going back. Ill order it on Amazon for the same price.
I went to the store to buy a new phone. I had 2 phones in mind and just needed a little more information about them. My salesperson was William Will. He started off really friendly and helpful but that changed. I was trying to decide, between 2 phones and he began telling me facts about the phones that were not true. He walked away from me 3 times to help others. The last time he walked away, he returned with 2 ladies and said ...they have an appointment and since our time ran over... he was going to help all of us at the same time. We all proceeded to check out and he began helping me. Then he stopped and started helping the other ladies while I stood there watching. I finally left the store without purchasing a new phone or case. I cannot believe a salesperson would rudely begin helping a second customer while finishing up a guaranteed sale. The least he could have done was have another associate ring me up. At least I would have had someone to focus on helping me and answer any additional questions I may have had while checking me out and setting up my new phone. I guess he thought he would make more money juggling 2 customers at once.Will lost my business and so did that store. It wasnt the first bad experience I have had there regarding customer service. They all seem to be sales driven and do not take customer service seriously. I hope there are some good salespeople at that location but I wont find out since I will not go back. I will not recommend this location to anyone and I will tell my friends and family about my experience.

Honestly I should give them a four. I went to find out why my bill continues to creep up. I only waited about ten minutes so they were very responsive to my time. The representative was very cordial and professional. I am not upset at all with the store itself. They where very professional and if I were looking to upgrade or change I would definitely use this store. Why I went to this store was I wanted some one to help me figure out how to lower my bill to a descent price. Since joining Verizon six years ago my bills have gone from $160. 00 per month on average to now $366.00 per month. I have changed nothing on my own but every time I go to lower my bill a year later it almost doubles. I have a family plan with three phones and evidently two pads that I dont actually have. I have evidently gone from unlimited data to six gigs to unlimited again with out my knowledge. My son went to a Verizon store and added my corporate ID so we were supposedly given a fifteen percent decrease. Thank God for that or I would be paying over $400.00 a month. When you show Verizon that other suppliers are fifty to sixty percent Lower, they dismiss them as fringe companies and insult you for even looking around for lower prices. All I can say is spend time in due diligence before you sign with Verizon. This will be my last time with Verizon Wireless.
My iPhone locked up and I could not get it to turn off or reset. I called the store and spoke with Matt. He talked me through everything I needed to do. He was very patient while I fumbled around! His help turned my day around! Thank you!

Verizon is not as service oriented as it used to be. I have made 5 trips to this Verizon store to completely set up and trade in my old phone for a new one. No one seems to follow up or know what they are doing. Hopefully this issue is solved.
Turned in all equipment in lo ess than my 2 weeks. Couldnt gcb et service where I live. But because sales lady left my acct. Open to keep the phone # I went there with Verizon has turned m.j e over to collections. For $90 plud $. This is ridiculous. Will change my review if it ever gets resolved. 10 months later not resolved.

I recently purchased my new Iphone 7 plus from this store and the service was excellent. We had Bryce Newman as our sales rep and he was very professional. He did not push unwanted products and really made the experience enjoyable. We will be back!

The wife and I were needing to upgrade our phones so we chose to go to the Verizon store on Hanes Mall Blvd on 10/14/19. I have been a customer with Verizon for 20 years so I was looking for a pleasant experience with this company. Buying the phones was an easy detail but the transferring of the information from the old phone to the new one is where my problem began. The attitude of the store personnel seemed to be just selling the phone but became my responsibility to transfer the information. After leaving the store I went home to begin this process but it’s not as simple as it seems when you’re doing something that you commonly don’t do, so after 2 additional trips back to the store I was finally told that the information on the phone was my personal information and that was my responsibility. Well, to say the least that’s not what I consider good customer service so I left the store for the 3rd time and I went to the Verizon store in Clemmons, which is a franchise store, as I was looking for the help that I should have gotten at the Hanes Blvd Store. The gentleman there took me right in, transferred my information in 10 minutes and I was on my way. Never again will I go to the Hanes Blvd store. These people are rude, and don’t care if you have been a customer 20 years in my case or 1 year. It seemed to me their emphasis is on the selling and getting you out the door so they can wait on the next customer. I’ve certainly learned my lesson and will never go there again and I may look a changing providers as well. I highly do not recommend this store if you’re looking for good professional help with a complete transferring of your information to the new phone.
