This has been a wonderful company to work with. We had a new construction home and were doing part of the work ourselves to save on money. After searching through many cabinet companies we came across Prostone while shopping in Winston Salem. So glad we did! Ross was great to work with and gave us exactly what we were looking for. The install was so fast and they did a great job, even had to come back to switch out a size. They were flexible with our subcontractors that were falling behind. We did a bathroom remodel and made the instore purchase with ease. They came out and measured and then returned with the granite slab. They cut the opening for the sink and sat the granite and backsplash. Caulked and sealed and done! No mess and very professional. Definitely recommend! Will use in future for new house. April 2018

Prostone Granite is a lovely little shop with a very friendly and helpful staff. They kindly helped me every time I came in, and were very patient with me as I brought friends and family in to help with my decision.At the end of the install, we had very nice, high quality and well installed granite counters. The service on the install was good, and they even came out to re-seal one of our countertops to make sure it shone like the rest of them. Between the staff, the install and the customer service, I would love to give this business a 5/5, but truthfully... Im not happy with the stone itself.We picked out a white slab, with grey veining and garnet flecks. We brought in samples of our floor, held up all the samples we could to find the right stone that would match our floors, cabinets and back-splash. We took a granite sample home and thought we had the perfect stone. When it was delivered however, I was immediately concerned.I asked the installers if they had the right stone, because it didnt look right. They assured me it would look right once it was sealed. They installed it expertly and sealed [most of] it. Even after it was sealed, I kept comparing it to the sample and asking why it didnt look right, it didnt even look similar. I even reminded them that they hadnt sealed our island, but they asked me to sign paperwork and left. I called the store, and they sent someone out to seal the island the next day, but its still not the stone was wanted.To clarify, I understand that every stone is different. I wasnt expecting the exact slab that we saw in the store. But we paid for a stone that had white in the name. We wanted white counters to match our white cabinets and the white in our back-splash. The stone we got has no white in it at all. The black veining and garnet flecks are the same, but all of the white areas (which is most of the stone!) is a dingy, cloudy greenish-grey. It doesnt match the sample, the stone in the store, our cabinets or our kitchen. I was expecting a variation of what we saw in the store, not something an entirely different color.Again, the staff was great and the store was very nice. I appreciated the customer service, but the stone we got just isnt what we ordered.

They did a great job. We love our new counters. It was a easy process. They came out and measured amd then installed the countertop. It fits perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves. Everyone was nice to work with and answered all of our questions. They made some suggestions that we hadnt thought of. They have a good selection and thier price was better than the big box stores and easier to work with.

Ross knew his products very well and educated us on the best granite for our needs. The installation was on time and the workers did a great job. Getting the granite for two houses (one we are selling and one we moved into) was by the far the most easy thing on my list. Ross was great to work with, and Im glad we made the trip from Greensboro to see him! (Did I mention they are open on Saturdays?) The pricing was very transparent and better compared to other local competitors as well.We chose leathered slabs with a lot of movement to them, and Prostone was very helpful in showing us different cutting options so that the seams would be less visible. We hired Pro Stone to replace existing formica with granite counters in our kitchen. The price was awesome, they had a nice selection of in-stock granite to choose from, and the job was completed quickly. Ross Edwards in the Winston-Salem store did a terrific job helping us with an estimate and answering all of our questions. The installers were professional and thorough. If I had a bigger budget to work with, I might have considered using a different granite that wasnt in stock but you just cant beat the price per square foot of material vs having to buy however many slabs you need and then having left-overs. Also, the labor charges were very reasonable. I highly recommend this company!

After shopping around at all of the normal big box stores we found ProStone. We assumed a smaller business wouldn’t be able to beat the big box prices but we were pleasantly surprised at how untrue this was. We met with Ross at the Winston Salem store. He was incredibly helpful and polite. Their selection was great and the price per foot almost unanimously beat the big box stores. We chose a granite for our kitchen counters, paid a deposit, and scheduled install. There was 2 week time from ordering to install. This was to account for manufacturing and other customers scheduled installs. The crew showed up on time on our install day and were very professional. They ensured everything was perfect and cleaned up prior to letting us know they were done. Total install took about 4 hours. We are very pleased with the whole process and with ProStone in general. We will absolutely shop with them again when we upgrade our bathrooms. We highly recommend Ross and the whole ProStone team!

Great from start to finish. Ross was very easy to work with and answered all my questions and dealt with me rescheduling TWICE without getting annoyed.I had been sort of working with another company and went with a totally different stone and Prostone had the lowest price so I went with them. Employee at the other company got an attitude about it, attempted to bad mouth Prostone, and then give me a garbage product on some bathroom countertops I still had them make for me. I got my money back and will never go back for anything. I will ALWAYS recommend Prostone to anyone who asks, though, because I am very happy with my kitchen counter top!

After getting some high estimates from another place and two big box stores, my wife stumbled into Pro Stone while going to Costco. She found a counter she liked and they came out in a couple days to measure, and gave an estimate over $1,000 less (thanks Ross). From measuring to installation was about a week. The installers did a great job getting the counters placed, leveled, drilled for faucets, undermount sink installed, and very methodically cleaned. I have very high expectations and they met them at every point in the process. Highly recommended.

We checked for 3 months for our countertop and saw the sign for Prostone and walked in and found what we were looking for at a much cheaper price. The installers were on time and excellent through the installation - they were great, cleaned the dust off everyhing in kitchen. Recommend superbly....

He showed us his products and the prices so we got a quote. The quote was on par with IKEA and CabinetsToGo BUT included the granite and installation. Very pleased with Prostone. We were seeking granite countertops on a somewhat minimal budget for a kitchen renovation. We tried several of the big box stores and although we found some reasonable prices in our range, the choices were extremely limited. We found Prostone and were amazed by the increase in choices they offered within our price range. Ross was very knowledgeable and friendly and guided us through all of our options without pushing us into any higher price range materials. This alone makes this a 5 star company. They want to find what works for you and dont make a push for bigger sales.A measurement was scheduled and was done professionally and quickly. They fully explained any trouble spots and explained where the seams would need to be cut. They answered all our questions quickly. Even during a busy season, they scheduled installation quickly. They arrived at 9AM and completed approximately 75 sq ft of installation in about three and a half hours. Very quick, but good installation. Some minor scuff marks to the walls and trim, which we fully expected given the demolition required beforehand. They installed a new sink quickly as well.Can not recommend Prostone enough. Great choices and prices that beat your big box stores easily. If we need countertops or cabinets in the future, Prostone will be our first stop without a doubt.

I have had their granite now for 2 years. It is very pitted and lacks the luster of the other companies in this area. I believe they keep a lower cost on the granite by not performing as much polishing as their competitors. I now realize that there is a big difference and was not worth the few dollars that I saved. I would not purchase again from this vendor again.

ProStone has installed granite countertops in two of my homes and I have been quick to recommend them. They installed my present countertops three years ago and did a fabulous job. Recently, a problem developed and I contacted them. They showed up exactly when they said they would and worked for several hours to resolve the problem -- no charge! Too many times companies that offer a warranty will find a way to worm out of it, but not ProStone. I will be calling them to install granite in my bathrooms soon and I will continue to recommend them most heartily!

I am the same as just about everyone. I go to the Jack in The Box Stores and that is the kinda help you get, a Clown that pops out if you are lucky. Their little heads just weeble and wobble. After making phone calls complaining and the whole 9 yards nothing changed. I found out about ProStone from a lady at work. I went in found Ross who was there at my every question and gave awesome ideas that I went with. I never thought it would be so easy. They came out and were very pleasant and professional. Plus they did beat everyones price by at least 1000 dollars, some people they beat by 2000 dollars. I am looking for ideas of back splash now after I finish the cabinets. Then its onto the bathrooms for more Granite counter tops. I love this store and its old fashion service with a smile. Best place I am aware of.

We needed a marble top for a bathroom vanity and the matching top to a kneewall. Our builder suggested a competitor locally and we went to get a quote. We chose a marble from one of their 6 inch samples and gave them measurements and left to wait for a quote. We immediately went to Prostone and talked to Ross. He showed us a full sized sample of what we had picked out and we did not like that particular marble. Thankfully Prostone has large samples on display rather than tiny little samples. We feel like we dodged a huge bullet. We got an immediate quote from Prostone and were pleased with the estimate.We also got another estiimate from a second place that was a friend of one of the construction crew. Prostone was over half the cost of the first place we went to...all right, it was Bloomday in Winston-Salem. The 3rd quote was about 300 -350 more than Prostone. It was a no brainer. We initially were told by Ross there would be about a 2 week wait from picking out to delivery. He surprised us by saying there was a schedule change and in 4 days our marble was installed. Its beautiful and the installation was fast and painless. VERRY happy once again with Prostone and would recommend them highly. I will not go anywhere else should I need another marble job.
