Not only are they opened on Sundays but they are very friendly! Mohamed at the desk greeted me as soon as I walked in and helped me get the materials for my desired hair style & had knowledge on what would work best! Very rare, will definitely come back.

I came looking for a wig and took forever to find one i liked, finally did and they did not have it. I came back the next day to look again and i just have to say that the girls are awesome. The owners are jerks and talk to them all kinds of ways but they are the face of the store. Their customer service is superior and they are super patient! I know i looked at over 20 wigs and ended up buying hair in the HOPES that i will succeed at a wig hahaha!

I was able to get a half wig for $19.99. Ego has a great selection of wigs. And a great selection of beauty supplies. I was on a budget that particular day, so I was very pleased with my selection. They have good customer service. The customer service representative was very knowledgeable about the wigs I asked her about.

I left out of Sallys Beauty Supply (mixed/brownskin) myself and white friend felt as though they treated us like we were stealing so we put everything back & went here. Completely opposite. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Plus this had much better choices and variety. The staff joked with us and told him how pretty I was... Just an amazing experience. Despite it being out my way...Ill definitely be back.

I think this is a good place to look for your needs. I dont go there often so we dont have the connection I try to have with people I deal with. The customer service representative seem dry and distant to me.Ill always feel in business customer service is#1. A person will return for faithfulness instead of need. The day I went was need, it was the closest place open after checking Sally which had already closed. Customer Service!

I will drive across town to come here. This is the only place I know I can get everything I need. They also have the quality that I need in hair. Muhammad is the best but honestly I have gotten the same great service from the other ladies that work there as well. All in all this is the place to go in Winston Salem for hair products.

This beauty supply store is an absolute gem in comparison to other beauty supply stores I have visited. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and spent an extensive amount of time working with me to find the perfect wig within my price range. One thing that was especially encouraging to me was the amount of Black associates working here that genuinely seemed to enjoy being present at work and working with customers. The selection of products, hair, supplies, etc. is phenomenal, extensive, and varies in price so it is easy to find something that meets your budget. I honestly cant imagine needing something and not being able to find it here! I highly recommend to stylists and divas like myself!

They have everything you need don’t get me wrong, however the products on the shell are old and expired. I went in to get the etae hair products. The Carmel treatment said sell before 3-2020. It’s almost July. So i called and they told me to come back and replaced it with a bottle that didn’t have an expiration date on it. That’s a little iffy but oh well. When i get home the etae butter shine that i also purchased isn’t even yellow it’s white and powdery. So this either isn’t the original product, it’s been altered, or it’s very expired. I’m very upset because who wants to keep driving back for them to possible give me another expired product. Make sure you open up and check everything before you leave the parking lot or in the store. They cannot be trusted. They just want a dollar. And I’m upset because the etae line is not cheap! BIG MAD! Won’t come back

Had been shopping here since I moved to NC... six years, and they never disappoint. But in the past year I hadnt bought hair from them, because I did not think they had the quality of hair I was needing. Boy, was I mistaken. Went in recently, and the fella--- Muhammed (spelling), truly got me all the way together!!! If I could kiss his forehead I would, hes truly heaven sent, plus he worked with me and gave me some pointers, and I graduated cosmetology school 🤭. But all in all... wonderful place, amazing atmosphere and people!! 🧡

Friendly and nice

Went to try on wigs with my girlfriend who is losing her hair. Had a wonderful experience in the back with the sales ladies. However when we got to check out the boss who I’m taking is the owner was a total jerk....he was rude and had my friend crying in the middle of the store.

Wouldnt honor a price that was on the shelf and product rang up the wrong price which was more then the sign was. Bad customer service

They have a nice variety of products and of hair. You can find just about anything youre looking for. The associates werent rude but nothing spectacular. I was a tad disappointed bc an early review had mentioned that it was a black owned business and it is not. I drove pretty far to patronize a black owned hair supply company, but they did at least employee black women.

Huge selection of hair products, hair, and anything you can imagine for cosmetics. I just wish it were a little more polished; it looks misplaced from outside. Little to no aesthetic value in the building, but its a store so go right on in; the supplies are on point.

The only beauty supply store in Winston in my opinion that has everything that I want and need if they are out of stock they restock and they are open on sundays which fits my busy schedule! Always great customer service when I visit they hire the right people and the owner knows his product as well; some owners dont know anything about what customers inquire about which can be very frustrating when your on the go. You want what you want when you want it and Ego has it going on!
