A wonderful bagel shop! One of my favorite bagel flavors is sesame and Bagel Station does it right--they put sesame seeds on both sides of the bagel. Genius. They also have a great variety of other flavors, so you can find pretty much any type of bagel you want. Lots of options for cream cheeses, too; Ive only had the veg spread but will be trying as many flavors as possible. Also, you can put whatever you want on your bagel. Want egg, cheese, and sausage on a cinnamon bagel? Bagel Station will do it.
Was very dissatisfied today. I did the curbside pickup and arrived at 1040. I waited and saw that they were busy so I figured after checking in I’ll give them an extra 10 mins 1130am I put my mask in and came inside because no one came out to check on me. You call the number it doesn’t ring it goes right to voicemail. I said when I got in the store that I have been waiting 45 mins for a curbside order and they said oh we thought you was waiting for someone. They definitely wasn’t understaffed 7 people behind counter. I was just really bummed about the service . Then my order was cooked again and brought out and look at my sandwich waiting that long for it.
Fantastic place when you order in. Doing any sort of pickup or delivery results in wrong orders nearly every time.We have yet to place an order for the family as a curbside pickup that was correct.
We have loved this bagel shop for 6 or 7 years. We used to go in every Saturday with our kids. But over the last 6-9 months, weve been incredibly disappointed each time. Many wrong items & items missing. We loved doing swipeby during all this Covid craziness so we could still support them, but then they would be closed on both swipeby & doordash AND theyd be unavailable on their own website.Today was the worst though. My husband got breakfast for the two of us & our 2 kids. Not a single item was right. They didnt give us the cream cheese. They left out a bacon egg & cheese. The tea had gone bad. Not exaggerating, every single item was either missing or completely wrong. And when my husband went, it was practically dead, so it wasnt that they were swamped & rushing.Ive worked in the food industry & am also the awkward person who always just eats the food if it comes out wrong because I dont want to be rude & send it back. But when everything is incorrect this consistently & this many times, I just dont want to eat there anymore. Which saddens me with this establishment.
I’ve gone here almost every week(sometimes 2 or more times in one week) for over 5 years and I have never had a bad experience! Food is delicious and the staff are always super nice and friendly!
Black avocados, thick cut cucumbers. Usually quality food but highly disappointed today.
Excellent bagels and polite professional staff. The Cinnamon Crunch bagel sells out quick for a reason. Highly recommended though with the home made strawberry cream cheese they sell. 5 stars for sure.
My favorite breakfast. 🥯
Great NY style bagels. Super fresh and great service. Been coming here for years cannot say enough good things about this store
Delicious bagels and frozen hot chocolate!
I am a long time customer. Every weekend Sat and Sun. Bagel quality and ingredients excellent. Staff are great. I have read other reviews saying they are rude. Well I have witnessed them being berated, talked down to, and downright means customers. They keep their cool. Then the line gets long moves along well and some kid can’t say thank you or leave a tip. Same with the very rude adults. This staff do a great job with a very entitled crowd. Thank you for welcoming me every weekend with great food and great service. Salmon bagels lite on the onion no tomato 😎
They used to be so much better. Theyre stingy with the cream cheese and the bagels are excessively chewy. But the flavors are great. Glutenous heaven. It just depends when you go. Not consistent. Weekends and rush hour make the place a cluster f. At least theres more parking and space than the one off Stratford.
They know how to do bagels🤗 Perfect amount cream cheese & good coffee.
I believe the Bagel Station has the best bagels in town with lots of varieties to choose from. Made fresh every morning. Its a very popular restaurant with Mount Tabor high school and Wake Forest University students. The staff is friendly. The person who takes your order personally prepares your bagel order. If youre there at a busy time, the line usually goes pretty quickly. Its worth a little wait.
These are my favorite bagels by far. They aren’t just a breakfast place. I love coming here for lunch. The staff is always nice and the price is very reasonable. The line can be very long during prime times so plan to wait 10 min to 15 min to order if the line goes to the door. It’s absolutely worth the wait.
Smells Are free .. Always great staff working hard
Typical Bagel shop experience. Bagels and coffee were good. Would prefer 1/2&1/2 to not be in the individual small containers.
I had a chance to sample Bagel Station IIs wares at a Yelp event and liked what I tasted enough to pay them a visit. Truth be told, this is a bit of a chewier bagel albeit one that preserves the requisite crisp crust. On paper, Bagel Station II has a lot to offer, but in the flesh (so to speak), its a mixed bag.First the good: Bagel Station II offers a commendably large selection and plenty of seating. You will find more than a dozen bagel varieties here (including a brightly hued rainbow bagel) and nearly a dozen spreads. Add to that the coffee selections and baked goods, and youre in for more than the usual bagel shop offerings. The sausage, egg, and cheddar bagel sandwich was served hot and fulfilled a craving. That said, there are a few drawbacks. Pricing ($1.09/bagel or $11/bakers dozen) seems very favorable at first, but four designated-as-premium varieties run 60 cents more each and cant be included in a dozen or half-dozen. Bagel Station II can get quite busy, and while counter staff are proficient at keeping the lines moving, they also seem harried and rather curt (the cashier, on the other hand, was polite). On food alone, Bagel Station II is worth a visit, but if you go during peak times, make sure you know what you want and be prepared to order it quickly.
Best place for fresh bagels in diverse flavors
In town visiting friends and we were recommended bagel station for breakfast before we left. Food and service was great.
Food is always fresh and the service is quick. Dining area is clean with plenty of seating. Lines can get very long but it moves quickly.
One of the best bagels places on the city
Came here for breakfast with a friend and it was delicious! Quick service and solid breakfast food. Plenty of seating inside and a couple outside as well. Would come again!
I actually like this bagel Station much better than the original one on oakwood. Its a very popular hangout for Wake Forest University students. Not only will you find the best bagels in the city, but they also have amazing coffee and great lunch options (I recommend an open face melt). Kid friendly too.
Everything is delicious. Good whole wheat options. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly. Super nice staff. Also great coffee.
The bagels are awesome but lately some of the staff members have been very rude.Little things like asking for a bagel non sliced or toasted she cuts it and puts it the toaster and gives it to me, I told her I dont wanted like that she said its not hot in there.I keep thinking she was kidding! And they talk about me like Im not there, saying just give it to her like that.:(
Great bagels, tons of things to put on them, excellent coffee plus teas, OJ, etc. The staff super friendly and very efficient.
Best bagels around hands down. I think they are better than Panera and Starbucks. I am originally from NY and I know what a good bagel tastes like.
The best bagels in Winston-Salem and a friendly staff make for consistent pleasant experiences. Bagels are made in house so theyre always fresh. Great variety to suit everyones preference.
Best around. Always busy and great food
Our favorite place in town for a bagel. Quick, friendly counter service, and a large selection of bagels and toppings. Plus they have pretty good coffee, a selection of other bakery items like croissants, and lunch fare. A no-nonsense staple of the area.
Visited on Fri I believe. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. The place has an awesome feel to it.
This has been our go to bagel place since we moved down here from New York. The bagels are really good and comparable to what we had back home. That being said, my complaint has to do with the cream cheese containers. I already had an experience several weeks ago where we purchased two containers of cream cheese only to get them home and find out they were spoiled. I returned them to the store and let the know that there is no expiration dates on the bottom of the container, just a number written there and clearly no one is checking the inventory.Today, the exact same thing. Two containers of cream cheese that are spoiled. There just isnt any excuse for this, put expiration dates on the bottom of your containers (isnt this already a law?) and have an employee check them.
I really love the salmon spread on the everything bagel. The bagels are hot, chewy and everything you could look for in a bagel. It is just such a nice place to have breakfast.
Just took a bite of the bacon, egg and cheese bagel that my wife brought home and discovered that Bagel Station II likes to serve the wax paper that is in between the slices of cheese on their bagel sandwiches. Wish I could post a picture. I will pass on their food from now on.
A great Saturday morning is a double toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam at a table under the porch outside. Love it.
Great really love their Bages and customer service is very friendly.
Pretty decent food. Just your normal crowd wearing pjs
The freshest bagels in Winston Salem with plenty of room to sit and enjoy reading the paper or talking with friends. Try the five cheese and bacon. If they had sourdough bagels Id never fix breakfast again.
Good but pricey!
You should try a toasted bagel with butter on the side. Delicious!
It was ok, I just expected it to be a bit more flavorful.
Best bagels in the city. Prefer this location to the original.
The bagels are superb, but the staff is snooty and rude. The cashier was a sweet person, very polite.
Absolutely the best bagels in town! Their staff are awesome.
Bagels are top notch and service is great!
The best in Winston Salem service is great!
Best bagels in Winston Salem. This location is not as cozy as the original on Oakwood.
Ive been coming here for almost 15 years. Great people, service, and bagels.
The Manager with tatoos was extremely rude lost a long time customer.
Delicious, fast, and cheap! Great bagels too
As for as the original. Ordered an assortment of 5 dozen bagels the day before and they had them waiting for me when I got there.
My favorite bagel shop!
Lots of options, good for small groups.
Great place to get bagels
Love this place!
Great Bagels!!
Great bagels, but terrible service
Awesome. Simply awesome.
Good Bagels, Salmon Bagel is a favorite.
Best Bagels in town.
I love it
