Northwest Motor works did an amazing job on my 2012 BMW X3. I had a check engine light turn on and a smoke coming from the engine. I went to get it checked out and immediately I was told them problem, how we can combat it and how we could execute it. Within the day, the car was fixed and the issue was resolved. The customer service was exceptional and the price was fair or even better than If you were to take it to the dealership. This will be my forever to go place for my car. If you want a fair price on your foreign car, this is the place to go!!!!

When I say Northwest Motorworks in Winston-Salem is THE place to go for any car services needed, I mean it. This place by far blows any other Car Service establishment out of the water for many reasons. To start, the owner Kevin offers one of the best customer service experiences I have experienced, and his professionalism is something to admire. First I had to wait extra long for them to fix it when they promised it would be fixed on a certain day then I get my car back and its almost worse than when I took it in literally the next day and I took it back up there end of course hes like he didnt see any of these issues the day before but its like how could you not when theyre very evident right now LESS THEN 24 hours Horrible experience definitely would not recommend unless you have a newer model car that obviously doesnt take that much skill to fix

Great experience all around. I dropped offy car and was given a ride back to my job while my car was getting worked on. When I picked up my car, my car was on and running so it was heated by the time I drove off the premises. I would definitely recommend!!

I saw this place every day on my commute to work and since I didnt have a mechanic in Winston, I decided to give it a shot. It was a great experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and professional. He will actually walk you through and show you exactly what they did to the car. They wont overcharge you and wont do anything without your approval. All in all, Im pretty sure I just found my car shop in Winston-Salem.

I constantly drove past his workshop every day knowing I needed a new mechanic. So I eventually took my car for him to look at it and he did a great job with fixing and working things out with me to get my car up and running. I am glad I took my car to him because now my car is working perfectly fine and he is a awesome person to work with. If anything else happens to my car I am for sure I will be taking it to northwest motor Works.

This shop is TOP NOTCH!!! They use the best materials and charge fare rates. They don’t take a small problem and balloon it into a big one. No scare tactics like other shops use. Kevin is honest and treats your car the same way he would treat his. He even drove me to and from work while I was getting a service at his shop. I will be using them from now on and you should too.

Let me start off with I live in Charlotte, NC. I drove all the way up to Winston Salem, NC to have my vehicle serviced at NW Motors. The fact Im willing to drive over 1.5 hours to have my vehicle serviced should say something about this shop. However if you want details read below.Every time Ive had an issue with my vehicle for the past year I have been going to shops in Charlotte, but I was tired of getting price gouged to where Im swimming in debt. The work is great, but there is something really wrong when your mechanic takes the part you can buy for $40 at a shop and they charged you close to $300 for it. Every business needs to make a profit, thats how they survive, but $300 for a a $40 part, thats insane to me. Especially when you know mechanic shops get the part cheaper than an average consumer could.I decided enough. The last charlotte mechanic I saw told me I needed a new belt, belt tensioner, the bushings for each tire was either torn or cracked, my axles and cv boots was in need of replacing/repair as well. I took it for Kevin to check it out.In no time at all Kevin gives me a call and an updates me on my vehicle. Turns out all of this work was not needed right now or at all. Kevin even facetimed me to show me what my vehicle actually looked like, like a real professional mechanic shop should do. Kevin went to each tire for me and showed me all of the bushings, he showed me my sway bars were in need of repair, he showed me what mine looked like and what the actual part should look like. He showed me my belt, and talked to me for a while about the quality of parts he used because I had just replaced the belt close to 2 years ago in Greensboro and it already needed to be replaced. He certainly reassured me I was in good hands.Kevin gave me an accurate price quote, not one of those oh it could be 600-1000 kind of price range and a bunch of (oh well this could happen this could happen, etc). the quote was spot on. Before anything was done he got approval from me. I couldnt meet during the week because of work and the distance and he agreed to come to his shop on the weekend to let me pick up my vehicle. Instead of rushing me out like I expected given it is a weekend and he is already doing me a favor, this man took the time to show each and every repair that was done on my vehicle. He pointed out every part replaced, and he even topped of my fluids. Talk about VIP treatment. A lot of mechanic shops say they top off fluids with an oil change, or another repair job and guess what, they almost always lie and dont. Ive tested it, Ive purposefully drained fluids like washer fluid, a little coolant to see if the shop tops it off. Well here at NW Motors, they actually top of your fluids when they say they topped off your fluids.I cant say enough good things about this place. On top of that he saved me hundreds on my vehicle. With all my repairs I was quoted in Charlotte over 1400 for all the repairs, Kevin took care of me for under $1000. Every repair I need I will make the drive up to Winston, because I cant find honest AND good work at any mechanic shop in Charlotte. In Winston Salem, I know if I want honest AND good work this is the mechanic shop to go to.Also for those on the environmentally friendly side, they even provide digital receipts text right to your phone so you got a digital copy and dont have to keep a piles of paper in your car of all the work done on your vehicle. The work is covered with a warranty, parts + labor. The places I found in Charlotte only covered parts and not labor. I know every shop is different and yes Im sure not every mechanic shop in Charlotte is bad, but after being down here for over a year and going over to 10 different spots its just not worth it to keep on searching.Glad I found this shop!
