My Tahoe wouldnt start. I jump started the battery and called Cory, my service advisor from Tuesday, to say I was coming and I probably needed a new battery but with less than 30K miles the battery shouldnt be dead. I didnt know it, but it was Corys day off. He drove to the dealership and met me there. David actually took care of my Tahoe, had it checked and found a dead cell in the battery. Covered under warranty. In and out in 90 minutes. Unbelievable service to have your service advisor drive to the dealership on his day off to meet a customer.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. We just moved to the area, and my husband took his tuck to modern for a simple oil change and tire rotation. He made it 2 miles from the dealership, and his back tire CAME OFF!!! The other back tire was also about to do the SAME THING!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! WHAT IF HE HAD DIED IN AN ACCIDENT?!?! OR BECOME PARALYZED?!?! The negligence is unbelievable, and appalling. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE GETTING ANY OF OUR BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE!! Youre better off going to friggin Jiffy Lube!!🤬😠🔥**Update**I find it funny that EVERY other review has a response.. further more, the way my husband was treated during this whole process was far from apologetic.. it felt like everyone was just trying to get rid of us to keep us quiet.. The guy David good that I was working with seemed genuine but I guess it was all an act because I took my car to them 3 time for the same repair totaling $2500 and my car still isn’t fixed. All they keep saying is if it’s something we fixed that is messed up they’ll fix it again but that’s the thing they never fixed the issue to begin with so what did the really do ?

I made the appointment on-line for a routine oil change and servicing. The initial attendant who approached me from the temporary trailer seemed indifferent as to my being there and did not acknowledge knowing I had an appointment. When the service tech finally came out, he asked me to wait in the lobby while they serviced my truck. after 1 and one-half hours, I received a text suggesting other items that were recommended. I went to find the tech and asked if there were problems, or whether these were services that were suggested based on mileage. He confirmed the latter so I denied all additional services. He said my truck would be ready in a few minutes. He later returned with the invoice which had the incorrect amount (higher, of course, than advertised on-line) and, I had a $15 dealership coupon to come back for servicing. The final amount was not explained nor do I feel it was accurate. I checked out at that point. Furthermore, the oil change took a total of 2 hours which is unreasonable, especially when I had an appointment! Not sure if Ill continue to use Modern Chevrolet for servicing (the only servicing Ive used since purchasing the vehicle there in 2016) when I can get the same services many places for less cost and much less time.

The Service department was horrible and unaccomdating. Two men got in my Equinox and pulled off with it. They both had the Modern Chevrolet attire on. When asked why, no one could tell me why. Not to mention I had PERSONAL ITEMS IN MY PASSENGER SEAT. HE SAT RIGHT ON MY JACKET AND CRYSTALS UNTIL I SCREAMED FOR HIM TO GET OUT. The manager acted as if I was the issue. In the wrong for asking why two men were moving my vehicle. As though its protocol. He kept asking me what was the problem? The problem is you just told me only ONE person should be in my vehicle, yet there were two. The Service department needs retraining and to learn better Customer Service. When returning my vehicle back to me, they parked it in the handicap spot. I DO NOT HAVE A HANDICAP STICKER FOR IT. They didnt give me papers showing the services I rendered. I had to ask for a copy. I was treated very rude and no one cared. WORSE SERVICE EVER.

Considering the construction going on and the disruption of normal day to day, the staff and the experience was top notch. Very professional and only took 38 mins to get in and out. Which is amazing considering the flow that day and the awful weather. Took a stroll to look at the vehicles on the lot and was asked by 2 salesmen if they could help. Always professional, Always attentive. This is what I expect as a customer. I will remember this in the future.

I would highly recommend this dealership to family, friends and strangers! I made an appointment over the phone to come in and speak with someone after browsing a few of their cars online. I was not 100% certain exactly what I wanted but I had an idea of what type of vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I was then paired with one of their team members by the name of Cory Bittle and he was exceptional! Cory was VERY knowledgeable and he also took the time to answer all my many questions! Corey was absolutely very patient, kind was very attentive hands down he is the best one in the service department that I have dealt with. I bought my 17 impala in June and I have had it serviced for various reasons around 6 times since then. I have never wanted to submit a review because of past experiences in the service department area. I felt compelled to write one and fill out this survey because he has changed my mind on writing a review. From here on out when my car comes in I will only deal with Corey that is how excellent he is he pays attention to detail and made feel comfortable. If u ask me he is the best advisor u have over there most of the other ones are very lazy and could care less if u are satisfied but Corey did the opposite thank u so much for ur above excellence superior service when coming into modern. Shay was an absolute delight! He was very knowledgeable and kind! He was very easy to talk to and get information from! From start to finish the process did take a little longer than normal but in the end it was worth it because I love my new Tahoe! The only thing I think they can work on would be the guy who basically met me when I was getting out of my car and rushed me into the building when I was looking at the new corvettes with my husband (Im assuming he was a floor manager or something of the sort) and then the same guy came into the office and tried to force me to go talk to someone in the parts department (trying to force new parts on me) and then ended up sending I believe it was Jason from parts to the office to talk to me once I had declined to go and talk to him! Other than him being weird and pushy the experience was great. I would definitely recommend Shay to anyone who is looking to purchase!

Our vehicle had one area on it damaged came back to get car and was further damaged dealer ship refuses to take responsibility. Not only that but have had back to back bad experiences with this dealership with them not completing services correctly.

I was on vacation and realized I have an HVAC issue. I extended my trip one day to get it fixed. Blowing out hot air instead of cold. Got a can of refrigeratant with a guage on it and it read perfect level. Took it to dealership. Was told its $199.00 diagnostic fee. Then they said the compressor and accumulator were leaking. Didnt understand that sense I checked it. $1741.63 later it still puts out hot air. Now the campground is booked and cant get another day. When I got home I scheduled to take it to a local dealership (Bradshaw, Greer SC) on monday. On the way there I checked it still HOT. About three miles before arriving it turned cold. I now believe it must be a blend door malfunction. I think Modern Chevrolet misdiagnosed my issue. Im sure there is no chance of refund or credit for their mistake thus I cant give a good review.Very dissatisfied, one time customer.

There are some good people at this Modern Chevrolet location, and they have done me right in other visits. This last trip was for an oil change, which they did including a filter. Check! they informed me of the need for an air cleaner, which I agreed they would change, Check! They were very polite. Check! I left with a list of other items that they recommended needed attention.Check! I am not convinced they got this information from the multi-point check...they had one part replacement listed that had already been replaced last year by a different mechanic. I believe they just went down last years list, and whatever they did not show repaired, they just assumed it had not been repaired...they didnt really check. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the work they did, and the price. I will be going back for a transmission flush soon.

Originally attempted to fix the Shift to Park issue on my 2017 Chevrolet Volt a few months ago. At the time I was charged for the diagnostics and informed that my issue was only covered under the Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty, to which I was out of. Deciding to further investigate and understand the issue, I researched and found that TSB 19-NA-206 was for this exact issue and was covered under the Voltec Warranty vs the B2B. I attempted on multiple occasions to reach out to service and parts to provide this information but kept getting the run around. Finally, after determining that Modern was looking at an older revision, Jeremy Johnson came to the same conclusion as I and determined that the fix was covered under the Voltec Warranty. Sadly, I was still charged for the initial diagnostic even though the repair is covered under warranty, hence the 3 stars and 5 on recommendation. The only saving grace for Modern is Jeremy, as he was professional, courteous and wanted to understand and ensure I was taken care of.

The Service Manager, Austin Gray, is excellent; however, I am a little surprised that it took an hour and one half from my appointment time to change the oil, filter, rotate the tires and patch plug one of the tires. They did have to reset the TPMS and perform a complete multipoint GM inspection which Im sure takes time.

I was treated disrespectfully by your service agent Austin GrayI have been to your dealership four times to have my car serviced. No one has ever treated me in the manner that I was treated on 30 April. As I see it your service department is the last department that people have contact with and therefore they should be on the top of their game in regard to the customer. When purchasing a car You see a sales person once or twice and the financial person and closing the deal once but after that you only see the service. Therefore they should reflect the quality of modern Chevrolet. If service is not good that will make people not wantCome back for additional service or possibly even come back and buy another car from Chevrolet

I was going to buy a new Chevy Spark from here, but I got a rude awakening when the advertised price turned into $2,500 more than the advertised price. A bunch of overpriced dealer add-ons were included to bloat the profit on the car. I certainly dont need a $500 set of floor mats, and Im quite certain that I could get much nicer ones from WeatherTech for less money. On top of that they lied to me about my acceptance interest rate. They told me that my interest rate would be over 14% and that they couldnt get it approved for less. I ended up going to John Donahue Automotive, and got the same car for the advertised price and a 4.99% interest rate with GM Finance, with no BS, and no finance company kickbacks. In fact, I purchased an extended warranty that lasts for the entire length of the time that payments are being made on the car and still came out with a cheaper payment.

Even though I live far away from Modern, I continue to frequent this location due to the excellent service I’ve received over the years when I was local. During a routine service visit, my children convinced me to purchase my rental vehicle! My service agent, Jeremy, put me in great hands with Cory Bittle to assist with my trade and vehicle purchase. Due to the distance and my work/life schedule, the majority of the transaction occurred over the phone before Cory even saw me in person or pulled my credit, and I was given the same attention as if I was walking the showroom. Cory was patient with me and not pushy at all, the ultimate feat! Modern truly went above and beyond protocol to ensure I was happy and satisfied, from the service team, rental agent, sales and management. They showed and proved that nothing is impossible, even though I could be a bit difficult to deal with (lol)! Modern has certainly earned my loyalty.

Great service, took my Silverado on a Tuesday at lunch and they knocked out balancing, oil change, inspection, sensor reset in under 2 hrs. There were several other cars being serviced so I was happy with the wait time.Someone came to the car right as I pulled up to check me in even though I was 3 cars back. The help desk called to make sure I was checked in alright after I arrived. There was a nice picnic table to sit and work at while waiting.Keep up the great service!

I called to book an appointment for an oil change only. Unbeknownst to me, the representative who booked the appointment also included a 30K Mile service. When my wife took the vehicle to Modern for the oil change, the service agent confused my wife. He told her what was booked in the system, but it didnt match the worked (oil change only) that we requested. So, we needed up getting charged to extra work that we didnt request. This is the third time we have experienced issues with the service department. We are tired to of mistakes.

I had to call the Service department at 1pm, they told me David would return my call wish he didnt, I call back an hour after 2pm ask for David ask him about my car, he didnt know any thing, he ask to call me back and I ask to please do so. David call back in about 10min. To let me know that the job didnt go well and my car wasnt going to be ready and ask if I would need a loaner to assist been that I wouldnt have a car, I told him yes. I was so disappointed I had to wait all they for this news and not even get a courtesy back.
