We recently had the team from ACE-HTI perform an install of an outdoor TV and they were fantastic. Brandon/Adam were on time, professional and courteous. They worked efficiently and the final product was exactly what we envisioned. Jay Stone was excellent in coordinating the project and provided insight to allow me to make the right choices for this project. If you are looking for a simple install like we had or a more complex project, the team at ACE-HTI is the answer. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Had a wonderful experience with Charlie Atkinson coming out to my house and consulting with me on how best to secure my home. After that it was seamless a technician came out and installed two cameras and replaced my old CPI system. I got an invoice with great customer service and gladly paid for my equipment fee. Customer service at this company is flat out wonderful, if you’re with a big security company and you’re tired of calling 800 numbers, this is a great place to switch to and talk with folks who care. In my opinion the technology is also superior.

Great experience with ACE-HTI all the way around, from working with Blair to get information on the Smart Home/Security setup for our house to Daniel setting up and installing our system. Carson installed a TV bracket on my screened porch today despite the freezing temperatures outside. He was thorough and hung the television precisely as discussed. He was on time and was able to complete the installation in a timely manner. I am very satisfied with the result.

Wrote a factual statement regarding my experience when trying to end a three year contract due to moving. I was never offered a month to month service during the crisis in which I had the system activated. Now, I have been told I should have asked. Had lived in home for 7 years. Had door camera installed and upgraded system for non line line and paid $400 to do so. All the door/window censors were previously installed by the builder. Paid $500 to get out of my contract and when posted my experience with BBB I received a phone call from Jay to bless me out for my factual statements. He also sent me an email telling me, I hate to see that you think bashing us online and trying to hurt a small business will make you feel better... none of this business with this company has made me feel better. Get your information in writing with this company before proceeding as we had many misunderstandings

I would definitely not recommend this company. They are dishonest and have terrible customer service. I was told incorrect information before changing my system to cell monitoring after getting rid of my landline. After contacting the company I was informed the incorrect information i was given by their associates was my word against theirs. I then was forced to pay $90 for a one minute service call to retrieve the installer code on my own alarm system. I can honestly say this is the worst customer service I have ever received from any service company.Reply to the owners response:Very interesting how quick the response on my review of this company was posted. I can only say, any reputable company that would first of all, place a customers name in response to a factual review and also call their system outdated (which they installed by the way... I hope they have contacted all of their customers who built houses prior to 2005 such as mine and informed them of their outdated systems as my notification must have gotten lost in the mail), Speaks for itself??? (Interestingly enough, since my name was used in that manner, Betsy, the office manager, did advice that the owner whom is listed as the author in their response was named Jay Stone, and although there were numerous messages left and transfers to his voicemail over the last 2 weeks, I have yet to speak or attempted to be contacted by him. I will leave with this, read the rest of the Super great reviews and I think people will read between the lines.

Many thanks to David Turner of Advance Consumer Electronics for installing our video door bell this week! We have an older home with a very complicated system of old and new technology. David was able to troubleshoot the system quickly and get it up and running perfectly! He is incredibly knowledgeable and so helpful! ACE has helped us with our alarm system, TV install and network wiring. They are our go-to company for security and electronics! Thanks for the great work!

ACE-HTI recently helped us with our home networking and Wi-Fi. They assessed the issues and worked through the possible solutions and different pieces of equipment that would help us. Then, they let us decide on the most cost-effective solution. James even called Spectrum for me to finally get to the root of the problem...that was a huge blessing! AND, James followed up a few days later to make sure everything was working well. Their customer service is awesome!

Not what I originally wanted and was told about the system. But in the 9 months since it had changed to all cellular. (not what I wanted to do) Well the men came and installed it today and also brought me a medical alert button. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I contracted with ACE to install a home theater system in my home being built in 2014. ACE was selected for several reasons; knowledge of options to recommend, promptness to requests/questions, quality of product, pricing and most importantly thee friendliness and professionalism of the sales staff. During the installation phase I continued to be very pleased with selecting ACE as they provided a vey high quality installation the technicians being very knowledgeable and courteous. I have now been enjoying my home theater system for around 3 months. I continue to be very pleased with everyone I worked with at ACE; Jay, Trey, Sean, Justin to name a few. I highly recommend ACE if you are considering any type of home entertainment system.

We have been with this company for 8+ years and have paid them a lot of money. Because we thought Charlie was a good guy we ignored consistent poor customer service issues I.e. not returning multiple calls, not showing up for appointments, making excuses why he tolerates poor employee behavior. Our security has not been working at our farm for several months because they wouldn’t fix the issue or replace equipment. We finally had enough and recently moved our service.In addition we contacted Charlie personally on Friday 5/17/2019 at 840 am because our internet service went down. He text me that he’d check with the technician and get someone out to fix it. It’s now 932 pm Monday 5/20/2019 and no return calls. In no way would I recommend this company. It’s easy to promise the moon and deliver nothing. Be careful with this company

ACE-HTI did a fantastic job installing my alarm system. From the initial sales visit to the installation, everyone was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I asked them to come up with the most modern and up-to-date alarm and video system available. Not only did they set me up with a very cool alarm system, they did it cheaper than any of the other companies I talked to even though the others couldnt come close to the cutting edge tech that ACE-HTI put in.

ACE provide security, surveillance, audio / paging system and video systems for a recently opened restaurant in Winston Salem. They did an outstanding job of collaborating with all entities involved in the project and went above the normal job scope to do what had to be done to get the project completed and ready for operation. Not only that, they have been easy to access if any problems occur and are quick to fix them.

Everyone is a pleasure to work with and very trustworthy folks. Both my installations were taken care of just the way I wanted and Ive been very happy.

My issue was handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism, as well as friendliness.

Ive been a loyal customer since 2005 and the company has changed ownership several times in the last 12 years. The only thing that I wanted to add was a doorbell camera. So they came back wanting me to sign a 5 year security contract for double what I pay per month. I was so frustration they came back and said that I could have the same contract for 3 years instead of 5. Absolutely ridiculous! Mind you the camera is operated by my phone so HT Systems are not doing any additional monitoring.My biggest issue is the fact that I have been a loyal paying customer for over 10 years and it appears its meaningless to them.

I could not have had a better experience with ACE. I called about an alarm system one morning and had a technician at my home that afternoon to discuss my options and customize the system. The alarm was installed and running the next day! A few weeks later, we realized we had a problem with one of the sensors. I called ACE and again they sent someone out the same day to replace the broken hardware and reconfigure my system. The customer service is unbelievable!Everyone Ive spoken to at ACE has been polite, accommodating, and dedicated to ensuring the system is perfect. Also, the free smartphone app is awesome- I can control my alarm and monitor my home from anywhere! It definitely adds piece of mind while traveling!I couldnt give a higher recommendation for an home security company. Go with ACE and you will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend Advanced Consumer Electronics. Their personnel are extremely knowledgeable, very efficient, and deliver an excellent product at a fair price. The SONOS music system for streaming music from the internet (or other devices) throughout your house is the absolute state-of-the art.

If you want a company that makes customer service #1 then HTI-ACE is your choice! I had an unfortunate electronic failure beyond anyones control. The folks at HTI-ACE recognized the issue and went over and above what a consumer would normally expect to resolve the problem within 24 hrs. These folks really care about their customers!

Responding to an email ad from ACE-HTI started an exchange with Christy Lomax, a manager, which resulted in a list of options and pricing to upgrade the ACE system we had installed in 2000 when our house was new. They honored our longevity with the company and made it a no brainer to get the upgrades we wanted w/o any pressure to consider options we dont need/want at this time. Josh did the work and his 17 years with them yielded a treasure trove of all things security and whole house electronic systems. He did the upgrades, conducted a patient teaching experience on using them and provided invaluable info on some of my wifi, TV issues above and beyond what could be expected. He is an outstanding ambassador for ACE-HTI. We are so pleased with the new features and the whole experience. I trust that ACE-HTI will continue this level of customer centered service going forward as a combined company!
