Friendly environment and amazing staff, but overrated prices for very cheap jewelry. Bought a bracelet and a necklace then four days later, they break. I was highly upset because I loved them; theyre very pretty. Sadly, I did not get my receipt so I could ask for an exchange for them, so now 50 plus dollars down the drain.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. The assortment of herbals, and their solid local art are just amazing. I’ve commissioned several pieces for our personal collection and the results were outstanding. Do yourself a favor… stop in and give these fine people your patronage!

Kindred spirits is just one of those places that feel like home. The first time I walked in I had just got out of a relationship and was pretty down but something just drew me in. So I just went in and talked to everyone there. I probably didn’t leave til about two hours later lol. I say that simply because it’s not just quality products there, but moreso quality character from the employees and that made such a huge impact on me. So if you’re curious about going just give it a try and talk to someone. You might make a friend or friends for life, or you might find what you didn’t even know what you were looking for!

I am a repeat customer at kindred spirits dating back to my teenage years, but most notably to date my favorite experience was coming in pregnant to find herbs to cure my placenta. Kindred has truly always embodied the role of being a multitalented purveyor for your journey. From hex rattles to winston based ouija, I couldn’t imagine living in this city without y’all!

Small inventory, but associates were nice and friendly when entering. Prices ARE NOT what they appear to be labeled! I bought 3 stones and the price tag on the area where theyre showcased said a fair price- a couple of bucks per stone, and I bought a few fluorite key chains that were shown on the price tag on the storage bowl to be at $.95 cents per chain. Bit of a shocker when I got to the register and the price tag was a whopping $50! This store needs to ensure its price tags are correct before you shock people with the final price tag. I wish I could say this was a singular event, but I have a few friends who went into the store and also shared a similar issue of the prices changing at the register. Friendly staff though.

Antonina and RJ offer the most amazing services at Kindred Spirits. I have been able to continue to connect with them since I have moved to the DC area. I love that Antonina has been able to offer virtual shamanic and spiritual direction services during Covid because I am in the ministering profession. Her healing work has enabled me to continue my work within my own community of faith.Of course, the art work, herbs, and other offerings are always. a first stop for me when I am in WS. Trade Street is an amazement of treasures. One is truly missing out if they havent stopped in to see the store. I can only hope that WS continues to see the amazing gift they have.

I have been a customer and repeat customer of Kindred Spirits since it opened. I love that the co-owners are so knowledgeable, and friendly. The variety of items available is stellar. I have taken some of the classes offered pre-covid and have found the information taught was easy to learn and understand. I have purchased items post-covid and they still provide great service to the community with covid restrictions in place. They offer many metaphysical items, and beautiful art to name a few.

For a relatively small space, Kindred Spirits is packed with delights. Necklaces, charms, rings, wands, gemstones, minerals, religious icons, tarot, bracelets, ritual candles, banners, chakra guides, salt lamps, altar cloths and accoutrement, incense, earrings, chimes, sage, malas, florida water... theres lots to sort thru, and at fair prices IMO. Who wants chinzy charms for something as important as your altar or ritual space? For plastic dreamcatchers hit a big box store.Ive always felt welcome there and the culturally diverse staff have answered my strange questions numerous times. And no misappropriation here; only authentic cultural resourcing.The owner seems to always have something creative cooking, whether it be hand designed and painted upcycled clothes, shoes and wall art (painted acoustic guitars, plates, etc) or miniature charms and stone-studded sunglasses; as well as a book written on Stone Medicine and the unique Piczanka tarot.You can find items relating to Buddhism, Hinduism, Pagan, and other cultures. A space for education, healing, having your tarot read, recentering yourself, discovering new interests and picking up supplies for your current metaphysical needs. As their says: Provisions for your Journey.

I just had an amazing experience here! It was my first time, the staff were very friendly but didn’t hover over me, which I really appreciate because I don’t love to make conversation(haha). They answered all my questions and were attentive when I needed it. They introduced themselves and asked for my name when I was checking out and said it was nice to see a new face! The pricing was reasonable, selection was good, and the vibe was dope. I can’t recommend this place enough.

For whatever tools I need for working with whats behind the curtain, Kindred Spirits is my go-to. I could think of no other place that also has a staff equipped with the degree of knowledge or guidance that makes sure I know how to correctly implement my purchases.

This shop is honestly a dream. The employees are incredibly kind and the products they sell are all unique and breathtaking. Everyone is also well-informed, so even a novice like me can ask questions about what stones contain which healing properties and everything else in the book. They have some rather expensive items that can actually be paid for in increments, so you dont have to worry about breaking your wallet too bad if you want that giant fancy amethyst rock cut-out. All in all a lovely place with an excellent atmosphere, and I highly recommend it to anyone whos looking for healing stones, ritual herbs, or incense.

A little pricy but they do carry incense for only .80 a pack and wonderful selection of stones and candles 😍

I visited this store last Friday. My experience was mixed. As soon as I walked into the store I started to feel shaky, tense and like I was being squeezed by a invisible anaconda. I felt that way the entire time I was in the store. Im not sure what that means but I was able to gather myself enough to look around and purchase a few items. Once I stepped out of the store I felt better, just really drained. You have a lovely store. I dont know what made me have that reaction and its weird. I do know it took me two days to feel rested. I hope to return as I love the selection of crystals, hopefully next time I dont feel that way

I am pretty sure I have walked into this place but I am not 100% sure. So this place in in the artsy and fun downtown Winston-Salem. This is a place to find cool things like jewelry and stones and things of the like. it does have a very slight touristy and gift shopy feel to it.

Antonina has been extremely helpful and patient in explaining everything to me and answering my questions. We did a cord burning to rid me of something I had been holding on to for far too long; and just 24 hours later, I already feel a difference! When I make it to downtown W-S, I always make time to stop in the shop and browse, they always have something new and exciting. Jewelry, incense, books, rocks; they always have something to fit my budget. The employees and owner always seem to have the time to talk, and have a great calming vibe.
