Back in April I flew up to Atlanta to pick up a new to me M235i. The dealership it was at just so happened to be down the road from OTP Automotive. I had heard great things about the place from friends and on ATLBimmers. I contacted Ken ahead of time to see if he could fit me in for an oil change and was more than happy to do so. Ken is extremely friendly and knowledgeable on these cars and went out of his way to to make sure I had a great experience. 11/10 would use him again and recommend anyone in the area to use him.

I had contacted Ken after a buddy of mine had recommended him. Ive done everything to the car myself so I was a little reluctant to leave it with just anyone Ken made me feel like my car was in good hands. I had a few studs missing going through the turbo to the exhaust manifold and few messed up threads. Ken and his crew would have had my car done right on time had it not been for the wrong gasket delivered from the dealership. Everything was completed beyond my expectations they even replaced a few bolts I had missing from the heat shield over the manifold. Needless to say if I ever need work done to my car again I will gladly be making the hour and 15 minute drive to Ken and his crew. Preciate all the work yall did.

I have visited this shop a few times now and would highly recommend it to anyone who owns a BMW. Ken and his team are super knowledgeable about BMW, regardless if it’s about service, repair, or performance. They are both fast and professional when working on my Z4 and 335i without upselling BS like some other shops I’ve visited in the past.

I took my Honda Civic 2004 car here for them to fix oil leak problems. This was in August 2020. The first time they did not fix the problem. Then I went for a second time so they could fix my ball joints and lower arm controls which they did fix. Thats why I gave them at least 4 stars. They fixed my issue where my vehicle was making a sound and made my steering much better. They relentlessly tried to fix my oil leaks but in the end I had to go somewhere else. Overall, they were dedicated on fixing the issues and gave me front hand access to show me where the leaks were coming from so I dont believe there was ill intent on not trying to fix my car.

Ken has my business as long as I have a need for a mechanic. He is honest, professional, thorough and his services are reasonably priced. Finding a good mechanic that gives great value has always been a chore, but I know as long as Ken is around I dont need to take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks OTP!

My friend and I purchased a BMW and immediately brought it to Ken with a list of repairs we wanted done after Ken was highly recommended by friends and other bmw owners. I was excited to transition away from extensive work I have been doing on my BMWs to focus more on building my career. When I brought the car in, Ken said with such a laundry list, I can set a budget that he will try to fix as much as possible with the budget and call me for additional funds needed. The discussed budget was $600. I liked his plan because it felt like there would be some progress made on the car quickly. Ken called me back within a couple days and informed me the things he could address. The only mention of price in our phone call was $1000 for redoing the whole cooling system, $90 for some hood cables, $50 for an exhaust and “cheap.” I told him not to do the cooling system because I will fix it but to “see if he can take care of the check engine light, headlights and exhaust.” He never called back about those things, although one of his guys did call about the headlights needing to cost one or two hours extra. I asked the guy what the current price is to see what the extra cost would amount to. The price was already $1300. It shocked me. I was told Ken was on vacation and the employee didn’t know anything about the $600 budget. I felt misled and Ken never called back upon his return to clarify. I called a few days later to check on the car with Ken and the current price was confirmed to be over double the budget. In that conversation he told me I had already agreed to do all the repairs and he thought the price was no concern. In the end I picked up the car with Ken saying he sees where I was confused but still having to pay $1200 for the $1300 of repairs Ken didn’t quote to me. His excuse was he didn’t see how I thought a tune, exhaust leak repair, and hood cable repair could cost $600. TRM did some programming on my car and I have nothing bad to say about them or about Ken’s repair quality. The complaint I have is on the communication which is half my fault for trusting Ken so much. Ken wanted to completely cut off any future business from my friend and me after we discussed how we felt there was a miscommunication. With that said, I highly recommend having Ken email over a quote before asking him to do any repairs.EDIT: a month later I went to pass emissions and found out my check engine light is disconnected. It looks like OTP never fixed my issues with the check engine light and instead shut off the light. It seems like they wanted me to pick up the car with the engine light off. I called the shop when I found out I was having the transmission park reverse neutral code as they were supposed to tune my car as a manual instead of automatic. They did not recall if the check engine light was was working when I brought the car to them. I do not recommend OTP automotive or TRM based on my sketchy experience.

Ken is the man!! He helps tirelessly to help out the local drift community here in Atlanta. Ken helped me diagnose my 2004 330i. He even pulled a good airbag module out of his parts car to made sure mine was working. Ken is very knowledgeable and stands behind his work, always. The owner made a great impression right off the bat, and then gave me an amazing price to do the extensive amount of work on my car. Two days before the scheduled repairs were to begin, I broke down in Augusta GA and he went out of his way to get the car back to Winder to begin the work. I am a OTP customer for life. Thanks Ken for helping me get back rolling, and I cant wait to pick the car up and know that all the issues have been taken care of.

Ive taken my E36 M3 to Ken at OTP Automotive a couple times now. The OTP crew is extremely knowledgeable in the BMW game, as well as other cars. One day I freaked out because my window went off track, thinking its was going to be 100s of dollars in repairs I started looking for where to take the car. Sure enough OTP was able to fix it for a GREAT price. Ive had to take the car for some suspension issues and it was fixed very quickly. Anytime I have a DIY question Ken is kind enough to answer.Sure enough, just bought a new Lexus LX470 and I know where im going to get the car all fixed up (Including a FULL timing belt job for a great price)!

I have been going to OTP for over 4 years. I have never lived close to this shop, but I refuse to go anywhere else for my car maintenance and modifications.Ken is honest, transparent, and fair. He doesnt charge insane markups on parts or labor. He clearly states what is needed, and doesnt upsell on service. He presents a quote and sticks to it, but if he identifies other issues he tells you immediately. Then he explains with proof why work should be done. If you dont agree, he doesnt just do it and hit you with the bill later.I have taken him many different makes and models of cars: Volvo, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes, etc. I have referred many other friends to him. They all have had a great experience and continue using his services. He has clients all over the country.I live in Toccoa, GA now, and I still have him do all the work to my 3 cars and my fiancés 2015 Subaru Crosstrek XV. I came here because my truck was making loud noises, Ken checked it out and determined that he wasnt equipped for repairs and helped locate a place better suited for that repair. I returned this week when my truck started running rough and this time they were able to repair it in a timely manner. Fair prices and Very Honest. I would definitely recommend them in the future

I’ve been coming to OTP for years and have always had a great experience. Whether it was an engine rebuild for a race car or a simple work truck service, they are always honest and know what they are doing.

Ken is the man if you need your car fixed. I had my e46 towed to him and in a couple days he had me back on the road for less than half of what other shops quoted me at and he knows more about these cars than any shop around. Ken and his crew are top notch people who wont take shortcuts with your car.

Messaged him through Facebook about rebuilding a rear end for turbo Buick, was very upfront that he did not have alot of experience with building rear ends but was confident he could get it done correctly. Few days later i dropped the rear end off, asked him a few technical questions and he was spot on so i knew he had taken the time to do some research on what all was going to be involved. Rear end is perfect, its hard to find a honest mechanic.

Ken and crew did a great job installing and aftermarket exhaust and some other work on my e92 M3. Their prices are the best youll find for German repair work.
