I love the mandatory mask signs posted and pretty much half of the customers in there do not have one on. Need to do a better job and telling customers to put one on or tear down your state required signs.

I have been to the Winchester Home Depot about a dozen times since moving up here and this store has pitiful guest service. No one asks if you need help. My wife and I looked at appliances for over 30 minutes and 2 employees were busy in conversation but did not ask us if we needed help. We ended up going to the Winchester Spichers store where we received great customer service and ended up ordering about $5,500 worth of appliances.Home Depot lost that sale!

Home depot is usually less crowded than Lowes and has almost the exact same inventory and prices.i think Lowes has a little more variety

Paid 800 dollars for a patio set that was to be delivered on Saturday which they fail to do told me it would be 2 weeks more to delivered so I rent a truck drove up to pick it up they drop it broke it in to many parts and gave me the display model manager never apologized or talked to me and no discount on the display model after all that trouble. Never shop there is my best advice

Went to Home Depot to buy bird seed, bird suet, and salt for our water softener. During the week its not that busy. In and out pretty fast.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon to get supplies for a bathroom remodel. Many aisles were obstructed with the massive ladders making it difficult to get around and find what we needed. There were no staff in sight to help throughout most of the store. The display in the bath area is labeled incorrectly making it impossible to find the right fixture in the shelf to correspond to the display. We left without getting most of what we need and will be going to Lowe’s for the remainder of the project.

When you want to look at some large appliances, well, online is probably better as a store cant have everything. But, DAMN!! Small amount of ranges (maybe 9-10) overpowered by the refrigerators 30-40?!! They filled that department by 50%. And we were getting a Whirlpool brand and only 1 and in the very high price range. No sale for Home Depot. Went elsewhere.

And the online reviews for the appliance were numerous and excellent so Im a happy camper.I also like their app because you can look up items to see how much they are charging before you go to the store. You can see if the item is in stock. And if it is, the app will tell you in which aisle and section to find it.Cant get easier then that!

We purchased a new dishwasher, which included the fee for delivery, installation,w/ new parts and the removal of the old one. We told the salesperson who placed the order that the dishwasher was old, (from the 90’s) and that “the plumber” would most definitely need the installation kit we were advised to purchase. The delivery date was set up for two weeks from the date of purchase, due to our home just being over the state line, in WV. Upon delivery we were told that the installers, who were a delivery service from 3 hours away in Maryland, would not be able to install it,due to the dishwasher appearing to be hardwired and directly hooked up, when it was originally installed. They told us our choices were to have them return the dishwasher and ask for cash refund, or keep it and make arrangements to have a plumber come and remove the old one and do the piping and electrical connection for the new one. They indicated that they were not licensed to complete such an installation in WV. By the way, this is the closest Home Depot in the area, so one would think that sales and corporate would be knowledgeable about county and state installation code requirements. We understood and respected the honesty of the delivery people, however, we were not happy. We spent time on the phone with the manager of the store who tried to find out why this delivery and installation had to end up this way? Needless to say, we decided to keep the dishwasher and try to get a plumber at the last minute, on a Saturday, to come out and complete the job that the sale person at Home Depot in Winchester should have originally assigned through corporate, to a competent, certified plumbing contractor, directly following our purchase. We can’t even imagine how the sales force must work with corporate to assign contractors for bigger installations than a simple dishwasher. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE FROM THE APPLIANCE DEPT.!! THEY DEFINITELY ARE NIT UP TO SPEED AND PROBABLY NEED MORE TRAINING. WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!

I bought a small refrigerator from them in the summer its not even a year old and the freezer does not work...It looks like Im going to have to jump through hoops to have to get it fixed.So if youre looking to purchase an expensive item you might want to go somewhere else.

Went to buy a latter and found the one I was looking for. Was easy to find and checking out was a fast using the self checkout.

Always enjoy coming here. I alternate between Lowes and HD for different things and rate the Winchester locations all 5 stars. Ive never had a problem with a product or the service. The lumber quality is about the same and I strongly recommend one checks each board for warp and over drying.Both stores offer a military discount with proof.

Tom and the young ladies at customer service helped resolve a very annoying issue caused by a young man who didnt pay attention to the title he gave me for a trailer I bought. They were helpful and sympathetic, resolving the problem to my satisfaction efficiently. I am glad that a huge majority of the staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. My go-to store in the area, with far better staff than the competition across the road.

The Home Depot in Winchester VA.is pretty nice.It is very clean and seams well managed the employees were very helpful.I am building a house about 45 minutes from there and its worth the drive to me to go there than to some little hardware store in the country and pay twice as much for stuff.I know youre supposed to support small local businesses but I like to save money.I aint rich haha.

Im usually not a fan of homedepot but the one in Winchester has the best customer experience. Friendly helpful and will go above a d beyond . I had bought a cub cadet riding lawn mower which broke down after a month of having it. I waited 3months for it to get fixed via warranty. But they never showed up. I called homedepot they came to my house which is in the sticks and dropped off a brand new mower even when they didnt have to.

Rather go to a locally owned lumber yard.

When I asked where I could find a certain product, they pointed me in the right direction just a couple of aisles over. My mother has a broken dishwasher. Matts Appliance in Timberville/Broadway, VA (depends where you look them up?) had been sent by Home Depot under a warranty contract. They couldnt fix it the first time because they didnt have the part, which is understandable. They were scheduled to come back with a new motor, and it snowed, which is understandable BUT they never called to cancel. They rescheduled (finally) and installed the new motor. They left the old motor at our house. My mother called to have it picked up and they told her, “oh thats okay, we dont need it.” Neither do we! Take your trash with you! Now, the button panel needs to be reset. Also, on a Friday they say they are open til 5, but they knocked off early at 2:30 DESPITE saying they were hectic that day. If you have good business, you dont close early. We had an appointment for 8am-12pm today, my mom took off work and woke up early and they called under private number but we picked up, and after only 1 SINGLE ring they had hung up. We picked up and after only 1 ring, we heard dial tone. We couldnt call back a private number. Now they said they had “left the area” and they have to reschedule. The secretary knew we were home, we had called her. WE ARE DONE with them altogether.

Walked by about 10 employees not one asked if I needed help even though I didnt need help and didnt see one cashier it was pretty clean and organized
