My new favorite metaphysical shop! They have such a great selection of everything from crystals, jewelry, to a huge tarot card selection. They even have great whimsical, yet grown up, beach inspired gifts. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable! They gave me a lot of confidence in selecting my first tarot deck. I also got a beautiful journal and a couple crystal bracelets! I cannot recommend this place enough, 6 stars if I could !

Drove to Wilmington to visit a few stores with crystals in mind. This store was the BEST one out of them all! It was well put together. The vibes were extremely positive and the workers there were super friendly and knowledgeable. They were absolutely interested in me as a person and not just a customer. The items there were top quality - enough so that I will drive two hours there and I hours back to be able to go to this store. I purchased moldavite and a few other small items. Thank you for such a great visit!

Cute shop, but both times I have been in recently there was a male employee with long hair hanging out unmasked. Super uncomfortable and made me rush to leave. The women who helped me out were lovely and respectfully masked. Can’t say I feel comfortable coming back.

Went to find a mermaid for my grand-daughter. First time on the store. Needless to say there are tons of mermaids. There are also lots of crystals and bead bracelets. Didnt completely check out the whole store but will go back.

If we could rate no stars we would. We are from out of town and were excited to see some local shops.After about 10 minutes of looking around, what we think was the owner, started talking to us about how the corona virus was a hoax and why she wasnt going to wear a mask, while we were wearing masks. We tried to get out of this very uncomfortable political conversation, since we were still interested in purchasing some items but the suspected owner kept pushing the topic to an uncomfortable level. This type of behavior is not only unprofessional for a shop owner but incredibly disrespectful to have will strangers.We left the store quickly because this suspected owner showed how little she cares about others and we did not want to give any money to such a person. We have loved ones in our lives that could potentially die from being exposed to this virus.The kitsch items and the prices in that shop were not worth risking our loved ones safety nor our own.

This is a wonderful shop. The staff is so helpful and kind. There is something in this beautiful shop for everyone. I wish I lived closer because they have so much to offer and the owner, Terri, is wonderful.This little shop will be on my top list to shop. I recently spent a week at Carolina Beach and one of my Must See places was The Mermaid Castle. This gift store melted my heart from the second I walked through the door. The staff, simply the sweetest ladies ever! I was mesmerized, by the endless treasures, I found inside this inspiring store. I was in town, visiting my daughter, who attends UNC-Wilmington. I knew I had to take her to see this shop the minute she arrived to my hotel. She was equally as impressed by all the essential oils, crystals, beautiful jewelry, but mostly by the loving spirits we encountered while interacting with the staff. You can see, immediately, that these ladies love their jobs, love helping others and make wonderful recommendations, with your gift buying experience.If you are in Carolina Beach, you must go to The Mermaid Castle, they have so many unique treasures you are going to want to take home with you. Who knows, you might even go twice in one day, like I did!

Most metaphysical stores in Wilmington embody the wellness of mind, body and soul with enforcing wearing masks and using hand sanitizers during this awful pandemic. I was very dismayed today that not only was there no hand sanitizer, but the clerk minding the store was wearing no mask or face covering of any kind. I was highly irritated and left without buying anything. I doubt Ill ever be back. If there should have been hand sanitizer, I guess they were out that day. Plus if you have a customer facing associate who has a condition where they cant wear a mask, they are probably the last person you as an owner would want to subject them without a mask at such a deadly phase of a pandemic. Im sure as an owner you would find them safer things to do for the store.

Cute little shop close to the Carolina beach boardwalk. Easy walk from Hampton Inn hotel. They have jewelry semi precious stones and a variety of items. I purchased a pretty amethyst ring and mermaid ankle bracelet. Love them both.

I originally walked into this shop to buy a gift from my mermaid-loving daughter. However upon entering, I quickly realized this place had much more to offer. A great place to purchase crystals; the owner has a gift for guiding you to the one that best suits your needs. She also offers sage and other healing and clearing tools. Mermaid Castles Sea-Goddess energy and mystical offerings makes this place a must-visit for mystics sensitive to these fields. However, it is also a great shop for anyone wishing to find a unique and meaningful gift.

The Mermaid Castle is Awesome! The store has unique pieces and a lot of interesting stones and crystals. I wish I was able to collect them all but I always leave with something special. The staff Always lends a helping hand with a smile. Its one of my favorite stores to visit when Im in town.

Beautiful store with great handmade items for rooms and house. Gorgeous jewelry and crystals. The young lady who helped us was so friendly and explained the various types of items in the shop. Lots of breakable items so you might not want to bring a bunch of kids with you in there.

They had a lot of cute stuff and the woman working there was very kind. I was disappointed by the lack of local goods for sale. So maybe they want to actually advertise what they sell, if they do, in fact, sell local artwork. Also, the store is so full of merchandise that its difficult to walk around.

Very Limited Parking, store it self is cute, but not much of a gift store. Its small so not a lot of shopping to it. Consist of Essential oils, clothing, and jewelry.

I would like to preface with the fact that we live locally. We drive past all the time and my girls beg to go because, mermaids right?! They are older kids, not wild toddlers or anything. So we finally went and from the moment we walked in I got death stares from an employee (not all just one). It was a very pretty woman shopping experience lol! However, we were dressed nice, respectful and quiet. Im very puzzled as to WHY she felt the need to follow 2ft behind us the entire store but it was extremely uncomfortable. She went as far as to tell my teenage daughter, who was looking at a necklace to verbally tell her the price and ask her to put it down. I still purchased a mermaid statue thing since my girls were so excited but Im seriously disappointed and how we were treated. They have cute stuff but Ill never return because of that reason.

I cant wait to visit again! So many treasures I didnt have a chance to see them all. Really good prices and something for most anybody.

This is a cute little store that is outside of the hotel hotel I always stay at when I go to the beach. It has kids things and adult things. I like it because it is off the wall stuff like certain rocks etc. I like the vendors she brings in. My daughter loves the kids section in the back.

The staff of s. Lake park Ave followed you around constantly thinking your out to steal their merchandise. The man yelled out at me walking out the door in from of the whole store saying I stole a bracelet on my arm until another lady had to correct him that I came in with the bracelet. I thought there could have been a much more appropriate and professional way to handle that if the situation was to be true.

If you visit Carolina Beach, you have to make a trip to the Mermaid Castle! My first visits there I discovered beautiful mermaid wall art and a mermaid lamp that I absolutely cherish. When they introduced the Kameleon jewelry line, I got one for my mom and we enjoy picking out new jewelpops for her when she visits. Amazing owners and staff, always a pleasure to visit!
