I’ve ordered from Anchor Hardwoods a few times and they are awesome to work with. Their lumber and customer service both exceeded my expectations and have really helped me transition my projects from softwoods from big box suppliers to NC sourced hardwoods. I was really intimidated to visit their store because I don’t know very much about lumber but they didn’t shame me or take me for a ride based on my rookie knowledge. Just good hard working people who bring quality lumber to the coast!

I stopped in after making a pickup at the local Granger store down the road and I had never seen this supplier before. I just got to say their selection and their cuts are excellent their prices are absolutely fair and I cant wait to go back and start a project after I get some work done for other people. On a trip to Wilmington to visit family, I decided to source some exotic wood while in the area and found Anchor Hardwoods. I walked in and was given a friendly greeting and a quick tour of the shop and what was where. I found several boards of excellent straightness (Marblewood, Leopardwood, Canarywood). Really cool stuff in there and great people!
