Love this bakery! Every time I go I end up getting 2 or 3 different items instead of just 1. Everything they have is delicious and if you get there on a day they have cheesecake, do yourself a favor and get it.

Visited again 11-15-18. Still as wonderful as always. Our favorite little get-away spot to relax and enjoy the home-made ham/cheddar biscuits, cinnamon rolls. All made fresh right in the shop where you can witness the preparation. Very pleasant family owners/operators are a delight.——————Fabulous bakery on hip 4th Street in downtown Wilmington. Owners told us they contribute portion of earnings to Veterans. Delicious, scrumptious baked goodies. I had the bacon cheddar biscuit AND a cinnamon roll which melted in my mouth! Everything is made from scratch. Delightful owners! I am at the restaurant now, and will be making many return visits.

This place is NOT what I expected. The cinnamon rolls did not have that overnight delicious dough flavor. The biscuits were okay. The variety was lacking for a Saturday morning.... odd given the reviews and star rating

This Bakery gets an A+...The owners are having a blast baking up new goodies and the standards like cheddar jalapeño biscuits, cinnamon buns, biscotti, macaroons all kinds of cookies, and seriously delicious cheesecake. Don’t forget a cup of locally roasted coffee.

I tried the Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispy Treat and it was light and not overly sweet. Very good coffee from the west coast. Delicious smells. Probably a decent spot for doing some work/homework on the weekends.

Everything I’ve ever ordered from the Red Eye has been phenomenal, from the Rum Cake to the everything croissants to the cheddar bacon biscuits (best in town) to the most amazing brownies. Even the coconut macaroons are delicious and I don’t really like coconut. Best recommendation is to call ahead if you’re looking for something specific. The croissants and cinnamon rolls fly off the shelf. Perfect to order for that holiday party or weekend get together.

Very cool little bakery. The folks running it are super nice. In-between helping customers, theyre mixing up the next batch to throw in the oven. All right there in front of you. Coffee and pastries were delicious. Job done well. Thanks.

The Red Eye Bakery is to die for. Best bakery in town for so many reasons!First, the smell. There are always hot breads and pastries coming out of the oven and the smell is delightfulSecond, everything is so fresh. There have literally been mornings that they pull out a tray from the oven and I get whatever just came out. The pastries, croissants, and biscuits are the best that I have tried.Third, it is local. How much better can it get? Well it can.My husband and I like to go in there on Wednesday mornings for a pastry and cup of coffee and just listen to some good music. Whoever is DJ-ing there, you are doing it right!My recommendations for the visitor? The big cinnamon rolls, hands down! Also some of my favorites, Congo Bars, Cheddar Biscuits, and Chocolate Filled Croissants.Love this place!

Just bought 2 cinnamon buns and they are unediable. How do you mess up cinnamon buns? 1. Dough isnt cooked enough and 2. Forget to put in cinnamon. Very disappointed.

It was Sunday afternoon so pickings were slim but my son and I had no trouble finding something to satisfy our sweet tooths. Cookies, brownies, etc. I even found something to ruin my wifes keto diet with.

In an area called Brooklyn Art District and out of mainstream of downtown. I love this place because it has that local feel as well as a classy funky feel. Check it out.

Our FAVORITE breakfast spot! Everytime we go we get our go tos...cinnamon roll, stuffed croissants, cheddar busicut and whatever else if offered that day! Its ALL amazing! To top it off the coffee is so good! We love the atmosphere! Gotta check it out!!

The only place in town (maybe the county) making handmade croissants, although its not a traditional bakery (everything is baked same day not the night before) what they do they do well, not trying to be a jack of all trades.
