Be Safe was the prior provider for the home we just purchased. We gave them a shot and couldn’t be happier. The home automation stuff is almost better than they security services they provide.

I have two alarm locations Delaware and Florida and I recently moved the location in Florida and worked with Tina Scarfo. She was right on the ball. Knew exactly what to do with the system in the new house which was wired and needed a major up grade to include wireless components. It was done perfectly in no time. Also she scheduled my Delaware system for upgrade to 5G so I could control both by phone. This was also done quickly. Bob Roads also saw that my needs were addressed in a timely manor. We have been with bsafe for many years and found them to be very responsible since we switched from another supplier.

I recently moved into a Dover house that had a B Safe Security System. I wasnt sure about retaining it but with the upsurge of crime in the region we decided to keep it. A shout out to Tina Scarfo, Move Coordinator, who made the transition seamless.

At the beginning of my many conversations with B Safe Security, I first started talking with Tina and she was extremely knowledgeable and if she didnt know an answer to my question(s) she would call me back with the answer. I was impressed with her thoroughness and help.

Im so glad I read these reviews before decidingto go with B Safe Security. I was not aware that I would be locked into any kind of contract with the company, and this is my main reason for deciding to go with someone else. I think I will continue my research with SimpliSafe a bit, as an above customer highly recommended it in their review. They are way cheaper, user friendly and contract free. No one likes to be locked into a contract for years, and I see no good reason for having to do so with a security company.

What a rip off . Now they want to charge an extra $5.00 per month bringing the total monthly charge to $45.00 per month. Other alarms systems are better & available for 1/2 the cost. An example is SimpliSafe a alarm system can be purchased for under $200.00. They offer full service for monitoring plus opening and closings for $25.00 per month & you can cancel at any time. It is easy to install and add as many monitors, glass breakage detectors, camera, etc as you desire...no technician needed. You can control your system on an Android, iPhone or computer. Notifications are received by email or cell phone. You have total & complete control of your alarm system & can makes changes at any time. Why be locked into a old school contract & antiquated equipment.Since this review I have purchased 3 simplesafe alarm systems 1 business & 2 homes . All work perfectly with excellent help if needed. Total cost per month $75.00 (3 systems) & much better in every way.

I was smart enough to NOT sign a contract with this company a few years ago when they took over the alarm company that I previously had a month to month contract with. Now I am ready to cancel, and they are trying to shake me down for another months fee, even though I cancelled 10 days before the end of the period I had already pre-paid for. I checked their yelp reviews, google reviews and BBB complaints, this company is a train wreck. They will try and have you sign a multi year contract (which I did not do) - DO NOT IT - you will be sorry - let many, many negative online reviews speak for themselves.

BSafe did a great job in allowing us to purchase more equipment in Laurel Delaware. Stuart was a great salesman, and allowed us to change our minds on layouts, equipment, and security services. This is now our 3rd location with BSafe. Glad we chose them.

I just want to take a minute and express how friendly and helpful the Staff @Bsafe were to me. I had just acquired a restaurant and fully intended to change security companies and I expressed that to them.. Well no pressure was given just a simple explanation of what they could do for me and such. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly; they do not pressure you into buying things you do not want. When I call to ask a question, I am put through to a service rep who either speaks with me right away or calls me back before the end of the day. I love this company and I highly recommend them.

We became B Safe customers when our existing service provider sold to them. We havent had the opportunity to call them for service yet, but the staff I contacted to get the billing situated properly was very professional and took care of my issues immediately, and I was able to do it through email. I prefer email over phoning, so I was very happy.

Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. There have been multiple instances where the customer service has severely disappointed. The president, Philip Gardner, is a rotten character who will try to screw you out of money. I’ve given them multiple chances to make things right and they just can’t do it. Huge disappointment.

My mom and I had our alarm installed after my father passed away 7 years ago. We have a big house and we were afraid that people knew we were all alone. We are so happy with our alarm system and how affordable it is for us even on a budget. We have set off the alarm by mistake but are amazed how quickly they call us to confirm we are alright. At 2am while everyone was peacefully asleep, B Safe amazing monitoring and alarm system called us and stated our CO detector was in alarm and the fire department was being dispatched Without having the B Safe alarm system in the house, watching over us when we needed it the most, who knows what could of happened. We are new to the BSafe family after the purchase of our current provider. I had an issue trying to pay online, but a call to the office made it a breeze to do over the phone. Looking forward to continued peace of mind.

I am writing regarding a situation with my mother. First, all the people she has spoken to and I have spoken to are very nice and have worked with us. Also, I think in the end they were fair for the buy out price when she cancelled service. They allowed much better than the price initially quoted. This is why I give them 2 stars. However, I do believe, and it cant be proven so It is an opinion, that they took advantage of my mother who is older, on oxygen and cannot move well. She requested that the keypad be moved to a spot where she can get to it quickly. She has not used the system for many months because she cannot get out of the house in time or turn it off in time. Someone was supposed to call her back about this and did not. All her years with B-Safe, about 20, she never signed a contract. When she cancelled she was told she is in a contract and they showed her signature. My mother does not sign things without thinking it over...nothing. She takes time to make decisions. She has been mulling over a Comcast decision for a while now. The only thing she ever signed was what she believed to be a receipt for a repair a few months back. She believed she was signing that the repair was complete. B safe also told me she sent people away when they came. She would only do that if they came and said she had to pay something not agreed on...and she does not remember this. As stated, assuming that my mother was in a fair contract that she knew about and understood, I believe that B Safe was very fair in their $75 buyout of contract price. However, I do believe that their methods in getting to this point are not on the up and up. No matter, all is settled. They got an amount they needed, and my mother no longer has to deal with them or police showing up because she cant get to the keypad in time. Obviously many people have had a positive experience with this company. I hope that they continue to experience this.

All reputable alarm companies require an agreement in place between the company and the consumer. This protects the consumer as well as the company. Our staff reviews the agreement with our clients, including the term and renewal. We also make adjustments at the consumers request. As a Honeywell Authorized Security Company we stand behind our reputation in the industry. Our clients are satisfied and tell us so all the time.

Ever since this business changed hands it’s gone completely downhill. The new owner is a sleazy guy who will just try and screw you out of money. Avoid using their services at all costs!

I cannot recommend this company. There has been three instances where the customer service has severely disappointed. First, I had scheduled an install date at 8 AM for my security system at my business. Nobody shows up. At 8:40 I received a call saying they would be arriving closer to 10. By 10:30, still nobody, so I called my salesperson. They couldnt get to me until at least 12. I waited for 3 hours to find this out. This was my day off and I came in special for this. I had to reschedule for the following week when the cameras were scheduled for install, so that all would be done at once. When next week came, the alarm tech was there at 8 to install the alarm, but the camera installers were pulled off of my job and left the 1 tech to attempt the labor intensive camera install. Needless to say, the tech was there until 5 PM and still was not finished. This meant they had to come back again the next day. The next day, everyone showed and completed the work, but forgot something that I had requested. That meant I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment time for them to come out. So now is the day of the appointment and of course nobody shows. I called and not a single person knows about it! How can this be? I gave them many chances to make it right and they just cant do it. Poor customer service and quite the disappointment.

I have been a BSafe customer since the mid-1980s, in 3 homes, the last being for 15 years. We just moved to a newly built home, and I contacted BSafe to inquire about getting a security system. Tina Scarfo was extremely accommodating, informative and professional. I know the product well, but I was impressed with her knowledge and patience explaining how the system has changed over the years. I know that when it is installed, I will be pleased and assured I have the best security system available.

Installation was a disaster I told them I was concerned about a ground floor window by my basement as a point of entry. The said no problem, 2 months later I open a window on the 2nd floor and I the control box state, basement window open. I check and sure enough they didnt put anything on my basement window. I called and they said they didnt make a mistake I didnt tell them I wanted an alarm there and the issue with the control box is naming convention?!? How do you call a second floor window a basement unless you put it in the wrong spot?!? They charged me $200 for alarms on my basement window. You open it now it says basement window! Also, in order to keep monitoring service I had to upgrade to a $300 control box or pay them an extra $5 a month in PERPETUITY, not until I paid box off, but for the length of my contract! I asked them to release me from my contract because they could no longer provide services under the terms of our original contract. THEY REFUSED! Now they charge me monthly and do not provide any service whatsoever. They refused to offer a contract release settlement figure. I have taken them to the DE AG and now I am engaging the CFPB. You have been warned they are overpriced and provide bad service. STAY AWAY!!

This is the worst, we purchased an agreement with another company, and B-Safe bought the contract. We moved out of the warehouse that the alarm was installed at, since we were under an agreement for a term, we had transfer the alarm to our new location. Since there was a transfer we had to sign a new agreement...So in the new agreement was a 3 year agreement...ok, but what was not explained in depth was the new agreement would auto renew at 3 years after the new agreement expired...I get the fact that I signed for it, but to auto renew for the time equal to the original agreement is insane...So I have to buy them out of a 3 year agreement to the tune of $509.03 (thanks for the 25% discount btw), but they did offer me to transfer to our new location...Any company who has to lock you into an agreement like this, should really question their business practice, when you provide a good service, why would I want to leave your services, its not money because our new service is more expensive than B-Safe. I signed for it, so I will pay for it, but I will never recommend B-Safe to anyone.
