Good place to go if you need something in a hurry for the boat

Nice west marine location! Matt was super helpful and knowledgeable. It’s not always the case to get a knowledgeable person at west marine, but the dude is a standout.

Fantastic selection with a knowledgeable staff! They go well beyond the nautical mile for their customers...even staying after closing to help me get all the supplies needed for the boat. They are always ready to help you solve a never ending battle of needing odd parts and rigging. The warrantees ate great...no hassle returns on manufacturer issues. Management makes you feel like family.

I love West Marine and I never thought they could get any better. How could they? West Marine Wilmington has the best employees and customer service for boating. What more could you ask for....Apparently, boatside service for West Marine Pro clients. Yep, you heard it here first. When we are in the field, even in Carolina Beach, this amazing women will bring us the parts needed to continue working. Not only is that an awesome perk for us but to our customers! We wont have to leave a marina to get a boat part. Cuts down on a lot of wasted time. Woot woot! Make sure you check out West Marine Wilmingtons newish location and fabulous store to tell them how much you appreciate them :)

Pricey, but they have good quality products that others don’t keep in stock.

Not marine related, but I lost my wedding band and it was found in their store. They were kind enough told hold on to it. Truly great customer service. Thank you.

I used to shop there but in the past year I just shop online because their prices are high and the past few visits theyve been out of everything I went to buy

No one seems to know the prices on frozen bait and the cashier refused to price match what’s advertised on the door of the bait freezer in their own store. This isn’t the first time this has happened either.

Staff is extremely helpful and parts always arrive quick if not already there.

Enter store at 5:15, was looking for premio pliers found in case that was locked took time to price shop on google was wanting to know if they had 7.5 inch long, Then cross store to other side to look at plb locate devise or epirb, and finally left store5:32 .MY PROBLEM WITH THIS NEVER BEEN ASK DO YOU NEED ANY HELP!!!! what happen to customer service because i want to purchase merchandise.

Big empty store. They have the merchandise but its really a large space for what they are stocking. Shoes and the usual smattering of Marine items and hardware. Nice staff, clean store, great location just not much in terms of product.

The new store is beautiful! The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help. They go above and beyond every single time. If they dont have a part in stock, they can get it quickly. It pays to do your homework. Look at their website for product details and specs. Its all there.Yes you can save a few bucks by shopping around online, but when there is a problem with the product, you have to jump thru multiple hoops just to get a replacement or refund. With West Marine, you simply walk into the store with your receipt, and they address the issue immediately. I dont mind paying a couple of extra bucks for this convenience and piece of mind. Remember, Time Is Money!

WestMarine has NOTHING to sell, this is my second trip here and my dead last one. No filters, no distributor head, no bilge blower....and the list goes on. I can not wait for those guys to go out of business

Placed an order online, arrived with a issue. West Marine customer service is great. They were right on the issue and they stand behind what they sell. More companies need to be like West Marine. I will be a repeat customer.

I enjoy going to West Marine to window shopping. However, I do not like to make actual purchases. West Marine is generally higher than shopping online. Their price match policy only extends to Amazon and brick and mortar stores within 50 miles which discourages me from shopping at their store. I guess since boats are a luxury, their company thinks they can charge more, but its definitely a deterrent for myself and many others. Besides the occasional ditsy young person that doesnt know anything about boats or the products they sell, the majority of the staff are always professional and knowledgeable...

The store is nice, staff attentive; but, not pushy.Problem? Google maps doesnt know the store moved. The store is not off Eastwood Rd, which is where u end up if u ask Google. The store has a great new location off Military cutoff Road.

Beware if you pay in cash and if you return more then 100.00 worth of items. You will get a store card for the balance. Im not sure what to do with the store card because I will NOT be returning to this location to get marine supplies. More places to get marine supplies in Wilmington.The return policy that is posted in store doesnt say anything about this. However, the return policy online does. I dont think this policy is fair if you pay 100% in cash you should get 100% cash refund.

Very helpful staff. Bill was patient and answered all my questions. The anchor chain was above my budget though and I think they will match prices because it was there brand on chain. Its was a nice experience though. Beautiful store.

Great first impression but I had to put an item on hold and when I returned THAT SAME DAY they had already sold it to someone else. They told ne I had 24hrs to pic it up but I returned that same day just a few hours later and they had already sold it, my first visit was great but I dont appreciate being told one thing and them not keeping their word.

Good place to look at boat stuff but just not actually purchase. Decent for in a pinch odds and ends but you will pay 25%-50% more than other stores/online. Staff is mostly clueless.

Drove 30 minutes to shop at this store and when I arrived they were closed. Their stores online and on Google say they are open until 8pm on Wednesday, they actually close at 7PM

A true nautical store with the widest selection of marine products and prices just this side of piracy.

Lousy customer service. Waited a long time in line for help and ultimately was ignored by a grumpy guy behind a computer when it came my turn. Would give this place 0 stars if given the option. This is not the first time this has happened.

You are a parts store. I should be able to call ahead and verify a part is in stock. phone was answered left on hold 20 minutes then call dropped. Very poor service.

Rereview: ... Over the past year the store has moved to a great new location and is staffed with very knowledgeable folks. The layout of the store makes it easy to find what you are looking for and there is a new Parts Department where you can order those odd pieces and parts for your boat. Kudos to the stores team for creating a first class boating store in Wilmington.

New store is further from the beach and prices are way to our high. Can easily find parts and supplies elsewhere in town and online for less.

They have a plethora of marine supplies. Pricey maybe, but its like wal mart for boats. Pretty much a must have if you need marine supplies.

Go to Marine Warehouse & save yourself a ton of money a long with all the headache!!! My experience this past weekend was purchasing an incorrectly priced item. Store would not honor it or offer a smaller discount as a professional courtesy. I did not feel valued as a customer. Especially, with paying their 50% marked up prices on just about everything in the store.. Again, if in Wilmington or Wrightsville Beach - go to Marine Warehouse & save money and headache.

They have a decent selection of things for boating. Some of their help is knowledgeable, others make it up, on the fly. Best to go in knowing exactly what you need.

This is my go to store for boating needs when I cannot cannot wait for an on line order to arrive. They have a great selection but they are very pricey. I use the convenience store approach when buying from them.

It has a better layout prices are still a bit high to become my primary source for marine supplies. The only time I go there is when there are sales of an item that I need and thats not too often.

Save yourself a trip and just order it on online.. spent an hour traveling here because they said they a part in stock... 5 of them actually. After arriving found out they didn’t know where they were and they couldn’t offer any resolution not even to overnight it. For a new store they really need to get it together and figure out their inventory...

Getting tired of hearing that regularly stocked shelf items will be here, and theyre not. 3 days in a row, have made a special trip to store only to be disappointed.

Lacking the basic supplies needed. Had to go to walmart to get what I needed.

Check online before you go. Generally, you can order anything online and have it delivered to the store for free. As to hardware, if they dont have what you need, go across the street to Craft Hardware.
