Radiator blew out on us while on vacation at the beach in NC. Mom, Dad, Grandma and baby stuck on a Holiday weekend and every other car repair business closed.I cannot say enough about this business, its owner and employees - they were, in every possible way, absolutely perfect. They went out of their way to get us all fixed up - not something you see very often these days. And the price? I was literally stunned at how reasonable it was - by all measures the cost was considerably less than I would have paid if I had simply taken the car into my normal shop -- yet they tracked down the radiator for us 50 miles away, drove to pick it up for us, and literally replaced the radiator in a parking lot in the sweltering summer heat - they were kind, generous and professional throughout. I honestly cannot praise them enough! Best stranded experience I have ever had.

Brent was amazing. He showed up 15 minutes early. He took our call through State Farm on his way home. Thank goodness. We had a flat tire from a screw in the tire. He even showed me how to take the spare out. Super nice guy! Thanks Brent!

Called Reliable Towing because AAA said they could tow my truck. Turns out that the small lift kit and 35 inch tires were just too much. Called Reliable at 9:00pm and within 30 minutes, my truck was hooked up and heading to their yard. First thing in the morning, they were diagnosing my trucks problem. They swapped out a clogged fuel filter and my truck is running great! The prices were on the cheaper side of fair, especially since they picked up the truck at 9:00pm and had it running mid morning!I would absolutely recommend them if you are in the area and need a tow, definitely good people!!

They showed up on time at the exact time they said they would be there and changed my battery when nobody else was answering the phone or was willing to drive out to my hotel to help me. I was on vacation for my birthday and I drove from Ohio and had to get back home. He drove a little far out anyways and charged a pretty low price to swap out my battery and for my car specifically it was a complicated process. I am extremely grateful to them for helping me get back home. Very kind people! Highly recommend them! Wish I had them back in Ohio!!

John, Kay and Brent could not have done more to help us. Having to leave our car in the shop overnight and after check out time at our rental, Kay even drove us back to Charlotte. I would recommend them to my mother or my daughter and know they would be treated fairly and taken care of.... it was the most exceptional, professional and caring service I have had in a very long time.

Absolutely fantastic service!! 5hrs from home and Car key was stuck in ignition and wouldn’t crank. They came right out diagnosed the problem, went and grabbed the part we needed and had us up and running in no time at all. Price was far less than anyone else wanted to just diagnose the problem. We locked our keys in the car and I wish I called these folks first instead of attempting to get the keys out ourselves (we chipped our paint, whoops). In August they fixed my flat tire (piece of metal in tire) for around $50 or $60 and were really fast to get there and to fix the tire.

John is an honest man doing honest work. He didnt overcharge and kept the price as low as he could. Those under his tutelage were polite and earnest. They informed us of problems and educated us on how we could deal with them ourselves to save money.This is the first time I have ever had a good impression left on me from an automotive service expert in Wilmington in 12 years.

Cliff found my problem and gave me my options. Reliable did not price Gouge me, like some other companies want to charge from the minute they Leave. My tire blew late at night, around 10pm, and I was really between a rock and a hard place. I called and they sent out a guy who then decided we should go back to their shop to see if they had a tire for me. I was about a minute or so away from their shop. He brought me back and I waited with his wife as he found a tire and went back to my car to see if I fit. While I wanted they were very accommodating and nice. It was the right tire and I got to finally go home and sleep around 11:30. They did an amazing job handling the situation and making me feel like I was being taken care of. Highly recommend.

They changed out the engine in my 2018 Audi A3, along with brakes and rotors and did a tremendous job in a timely manner. They completed the repairs for a great price as well. He came out at night for 35 dollars and not only unlocked my car but somehow figured out on my newer Nissan model how to open the trunk when my keys were inside and there was no way into the trunk from the inside ! Stuck in a parking lot on a Sunday morning with a destroyed wheel bearing on my boat trailer over 100 miles from home. John and Kaye came to the rescue. John and Kaye are a great car rescue team! I needed their help to get my old (very old!) car started several times, when I thought it was just the battery. John diagnosed the starter was bad and replaced it in my driveway where it had died once again. Several service calls, the new starter and labor were all surprisingly affordable, even to a frugal person like myself! Yesterday my NEW car wouldnt start and I didnt hesitate to call on John again. A few minutes later he arrived, checked out the electrical system, gave me needed info and advice (and a jump start!) and I was on my way. These guys are outstanding. I had a problem with my hub assembly, and John replaced it with no problem. Not only did he replace it, but he showed me how to do it myself in the future, and helped me adjust my brake drum on the spot. I had a nail in my tire and I unfortunately discovered this on a Sunday when most car repair shops are closed or slammed due to limited hours. I couldn’t find a single place in town that was able to fix it same day. I was referred to Reliable Roadside Services by my dad and when I called, John was able to meet me where I was within 20 minutes. This is a personally owned business, not a corporation or chain/franchise therefore the prices and reliability are better. I have had two cars with fairly extensive issues, and they diagnosed and fixed the issue within a day or two. I fully support this business and recommend it to anyone else in the area with car issues.

This guy is fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced. Girlfriends car wouldn’t start at dollar general in wilmington and he was there in 10 minutes, diagnosed the problem, took her to get the part, fixed it and ready to go in an hour or less and charged $80 for all he did! I’d recommend him to anyone that breaks down near Wilmington NC!

John came out and met me to change my brakes for me and it was incredibly fast. He offers a low price and does good work. I’ll definitely be using him for small repairs to my Jeep going forward. He’s great to use if you’re like me and work a lot or if you just want shop quality work at a much more reasonable price.

Our daughter is a student at UNCW and her battery light came on this morning as she made the long drive back to campus.
