These guys were great! Pulled up and they were super quick. Very attentive to the needs of the car and clear directions on what I needed to do (when to start the car, when to turn it off, when I was done and could drive away). They were super respectful and professional. Easy, laid back experience. I will definitely be back. Price was pretty fair, too, for what they do and how quick they do it.

Prolube on college rd has taken advantage of one of their employees that has a disability by not paying them in a timely manner. It’s been 4 weeks Since he started and after the two weeks when pay day came they told him he couldn’t get paid because he didn’t fill out all the paperwork, the man has no car and hast to walk wherever he goes fast forward two weeks and now he has Covid and they still haven’t paid him he’s at home with no food and is being evicted we have been taking him food to eat and when I go up there to see about them paying him they said that he didn’t fill out all the paperwork so they can’t pay him. The manager should’ve made sure that all the paperwork was filled out before he ever started . I picked up the paperwork and took it to him to fill out and dropped it back off at pro lube on Friday and here it is Monday and the man is still waiting for his money. They told him they can issue him a card tomorrow.Well we will see what happens tomorrow again.I would not recommend any business that takes advantage of anyone especially someone that has a disability.

Quick friendly service. Expensive though, over 90.00$ for an oil change in a Toyota van. Never paid over 70 before.

Superrrrr friendly staff, amazingly professional and well spoken, I had the pleasure of being helped by two managers one of which was the area manager Eddie and the store manager Cody. They are awesome!! I tried prolube back a few years ago and wow have things changed. The prices are even better than before and the quality of services have improved extremely. Adam and his two colleagues were friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Good price. 5-20 synthetic blend oil change was $44. 100% synthetic would have been $74. I asked about a radiator flush and he advised they did not have the coolant for my car model. I appreciated this honesty.Oh - I sat in the car during the work, and also got out to ask questions.

Ive been going there for years. Employees are usually really nice, but everybodys due a bad day from time to time. Quick service and thorough.

I have always believed in taking a car back to the dealer for an oil change. But it has become a hassle, waiting days for an appointment and waiting hours for something as simple as an oil change. PRO LUBE #2 on south collage road just made me a satisfied customer. Will and the crew were professional, curtious and very accommodating . No high pressure up sales, they changed my oil, filter, topped off fluid levels and adjusted my air pressure in less then half hour while I sat in my car listening to the radio.5 stars !! Ive been going here for about 2 years, but after today Ill never go again. I pulled up for an oil change and witnessed Ryan the manager and another customer engage in a shouting match, cussing and swearing on the day before Thanksgiving. Ryan acted completely inappropriately and I cant in good conscience recommend this place.

Ive gone here for a couple of years now. They seem to have a high turnover rate, but that maybe by fault of owner. The manager there is very friendly and willing to help/answer any questions that I have. We own two company vehicles and rely on them to do all our oil changes. I do watch while they do the work, but thats not because of anything they did or didnt do.. Its just something I do with anyone..

These guys were super helpful and nice. I just came to get an oil change and ended up getting help with 3 other issues. Worked with me every step of the way . Usually places like that want to get you out as fast as possible but not the case here! Would absolutely recommend!

Didn’t seem to know what they were doing when I was there nick was the employee helping me and seem a little all over the place. The other employees kind of just stood around. I wanted to leave more than a one star but I couldn’t bring myself to it. They weren’t busy at all and I would have thought I would have been out quicker than 30 minutes. A little too pricey for the services and unprofessional seeming mannerisms here. Thank you for a least putting air in two of my tires and not the other two!!

Went here in mid January to have my car inspected and the oil changed. Not only was the oil change vastly over priced but I received a phone call from the local police today (the reason for this review) to learn that my car information was stolen from this location and used in fraudulent inspections. Even if this place is blameless, it has left a bad taste and I would not go back nor recommend to anyone I know.

For anyone like me who is not knowledgeable with cars, this is a place you can trust. I took my car there this morning for an oil change and was so impressed by my experience that I had to write a review. I was asked a simple question about my air filter (which I knew nothing about) and told Willis the guy helping me that I didnt know anything about cars. Instead of completely taking advantage of the situation, he walked through step by step what they were doing, why they were doing it, and never once tried to pressure me into spending way more than my budget. Before they finished, the manager Anthony came over to confirm that my experience was satisfactory and gave me some advice regarding things to look for to keep my car healthy. Willis and Anthony printed out a sheet of things that I could do to preserve my car. Ive finally found a place I can trust and I will not go anywhere else as long as they are open!

Always nice and quick service but notice they dont put all the screws back on dust covers on the under carriage of car. Which makes it get damaged hanging from bottom of car. This is the 2nd car Ive had this happen toSo I stopped going there.

Was employed here for a good bit so here is the real nitty gritty. The oil is CAM2 aka recycled oil, all our parts are from china and roughly less than 2 dollars a filter. The owner himself, Tony Roberts will sell you a service you dont even need! Ive seen this man put conventional oil in cars that asked and paid for synthetic. Workers are under paid and under appreciated while he over charges the population of Wilmington for terrible quality products and services. I would highly recommend a different maintenance shop.

First of all, the waiting area is the office. Its not comfortable at all. Next, there were way too many Sweethearts when addressing me the customer. That I could live with if they did a good job. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I went in for an inspection, oil change, and tire rotation. The car passed inspection, but later that day, I noticed my check engine light came on. Went back the next morning and got NO satisfaction. I was told to wait about 100 miles and the light would go off according to the code. Also, the attendant was clearly in a bad mood and didnt really want to hear what I had to say. The check engine light did not go off after 100 miles. I was pretty sure it wouldnt. Ive had the car for 9 years; thats never happened after the routine maintenance. I decided to take my car to my regular mechanic. I told him the whole story. He did not want to blame the other business. Unlike ProLube, he was quite professional. After testing out a few things, he discovered that my oil was 3 quarts low. I had been driving around for two weeks with next to no oil in my car. ProLube either did replace any or enough oil when they changed the oil, but worse than that, they were flippant with me and NOT willing to accept any responsibility for the check engine light that came on immediately after they serviced my car. I gave them the opportunity to make it right with no complaints. They really didnt want to hear about it. All in all a bad experience.

I have visited twice. Both visits were odd and left me suspecting this is the place to avoid. I believe there is poor oversight of employees and that a portion of their pay is incentives.I was told I had to have synthetic oil for my Tundra truck and that was all that they would offer me. This is simply not true. I left.My return for state inspection was quickly done. They had no-one waiting and were able to do it quickly. While that was being done the front desk attendant told me he had not eaten that day and requested a tip for their service.Unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and untrustworthy.Buyer beware!

Great customer service... I went there last week to get my oil changed, and they noticed my tire was low on air and had a nail in it. They promptly pulled the tire off and repaired it. Im glad I stopped there for an oil change, or I might have been stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! A different oil change place messed up my oil filter, and prolube was helpful and ordered a part that was delivered in 10 mins. They are super speedy and so nice. They even showed me photos of the issue. Only downside is I’m pretty sure they don’t have an indoor waiting area but they let you stay in your car. Will be going back for all my oil changes!

Worst service we’ve received there ever. Not that anyone cares or this really matters. They told us it would be 15 to 20 min long. However, we ended up being there for over an hour for an inspection. We were bypassed by 3 cars that were behind us. Makes no sense and just uncall for especially when I’m with 3 little kids. I have been please with them so far but today put me over the edge.

The staff here are friendly and amazing! They are very attentive and helpful and the store is very well managed. They conducted my inspection and changed the oil in my car. I could not have been happier! :) I dont know about the other guys review, sounds like a disgruntled ex- employee to me. He does not even use proper grammar! He is probably a strung out junky. I would highly recommend Prolube on S. College to everyone. It is also nice that they offer discounts with student ids and discounts for emergency personnel.

Was refferred here. Whrn i first oulled up older guy asked what do you want no greeting whatsoever. He seemed pissed off about somthing and just kept ending my questions with dull quck 3 worded answers and im the only one at their bays at 5 oclock. My technician tyoed random information about my vehicle (mileage, drivetrain, model). He asked if wanted to get my abs light off and i agreed but he took a fuse out that cut off the lights to the whole dash. This place is unorofessional and doesnt deserve my recommendations. Ill go back to the autoshops for now on.

Went here for an oil change. They escort you right into a small office so you are not with your vehicle, The guy asked me if I wanted the synthetic, I said no. After paying $55.55 I saw a charge for an additional $8 for synthetic, I asked what the charge was for and the guy said they only use synthetic (well when he asked if I wanted syn at first and I said no, regular 5W-20, he should have said they only use synthetic, I didnt feel like arguing over the $8 after the fact.Be very cautious on claims of leaks and rounded drain plugs. As soon as they started working on my truck, the tall skinny guy came in to the office and said my drain plug was rounded off, and do I want him to replace it. I said no I dont want an upsell and he said, no. no, I wasnt going to charge you for it.After that I decided to stay outside and keep an eye on what they were doing, even though I couldnt see what was going on under my truck. Then the guy under the truck yelled up to the skinny guy about a leak and the skinny guy laughed and yelled back, no, no, theres no leaks I just told you that, ( maybe realizing I was onto what they might be trying to do) Anyway when I left and got across the street to gas up, I opened the hood to check the oil level, there is oil all over my intake plenum and over my coil packs either from them reving the engine before putting the oil cap back on, or from them intentionally putting oil on the engine top to try to claim there is an oil leak, I check under my hood at all fill ups and my engine was always clean and dry.In the long run, they said they changed the rounded bolt, when the skinny guy showed my the bolt I took it from his hand and said Ill keep that as a momento, he looked shocked, maybe because that wasnt my drain bolt.I havnt crawled under the truck to look but will have it iput on a lift and nspected the next chance I get.If they did change the drain plug, then I apologize and thank you, but my gut tells me otherwise.I hate to be judgemental of anyone but take the advice of 2 previous employees who made statements above. Be cautious and watch what they are doing.

Staff was nice enough, but I was overcharged for a state inspection and oil change. Additionally, Im trying to change my oil right now and they tightened the drainage valve to the point where its impossible to get loose.
