I brought my vehicle in on May 14th. I was told it would be scheduled for repair on June 1st. After a month had passed, I contacted the company to see how much longer I would be without a vehicle, they told me 2-2.5 weeks. I called again the beginning of the third week and was told it would be another 2 weeks. I called in the middle of the second week and was told 1-2 more days, which puts me at today. Today I was told it still needed an alignment and the goal would be for it to be ready by Monday. Extremely displeased with the length of service and the inaccuracy of the timeline.

Had a co-worker back into my car that damaged the rear bumper. Port City Collision was able to see me immediately for an estimate. They did an absolutely fantastic job fixing up my bumper. I was told the paint may not be able to be matched 100% due to the age of my car, but when I came to pick it up it was a perfect match! An extra bonus: they cleaned my interior and exterior and it looked better than it has in five years! Highly recommend Port City Collision for your auto repairs!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a body shop. It all started the second week when they told me my car would be on hold because my advisor was on “vacation.” After that I received the runaround for weeks about when my car would be complete. Had numerous people for the company tell me false info. In the middle of the claim I had to hire an attorney because the insurance company told me that Port City Collision had changed the supplement rates and charged more than double the price to complete my vehicle. Then after my attorney and the insurance company straighten out that issue they held my car hostage for two more days after it was complete. It had been over a month they had my vehicle and when I called to come pick it up they said “ they would not give me my vehicle back until GEICO called them and straighten out the differences in the price for additional work that had been done. I personally asked if I came to get my vehicle would everything be ready because I was driving from an hour away and their answer is we will not give you back your vehicle until we talk to GEICO. GEICO had already taken 100% liability which meant they were paying regardless, but they still wouldn’t give me back my vehicle. After having to get my attorney involved a second time and the insurance company I found out that an accounting era was made by the body shop and that I could go get my vehicle. The whole time it was their fault and on top of that when I picked up my vehicle it was dirty from oily hands of mechanics touching my white seats. They finished off by adding a diagnostic fee to my bill that I had to pay out of pocket for a diagnostic about me needing breaks and a new compressor which I asked for neither of those to be checked out. I asked them to make sure a noise from my transmission wasn’t an issue and instead they bill me for checking out my brakes and compressor. I wouldn’t go to this body shop ever again even if it was the only one in the state. Save yourself the headache and go to the next option on the list.

I have been recommending PCC for years to my customers and have always heard that they were excellent to work with. When my car was damaged from the hurricane I decided to use them. I was blown away by the customer service from Renee at the front desk and Jeff the estimator. They provided a very clear timeline and explanation of the work that would be done which included body work and paint. Jeff followed up with me several times while they had my car giving me updates on the progress. My car was ready on the day promised and it looks incredible!!!! I’m a very particular person when it comes to my car and they exceeded my expectations!! I can’t recommend them enough!!

This place is awesome. I had a small rear end accident and was very concerned that they would not be able to match the paint color as its a factory orange. Not only did they match the paint color but cleaned my car beautifully. They kept frequent contact with me on the process and explained what stage of repair my car was in, also answering any and all questions I had. I recommend them to anyone for bodywork and paint to your car.

I received a quote from port city for a little over $900. I told them to call if the price of the repair would be over the quoted price. I never gor a phone call and they sent a bill to me for 1300 and some change. This place is a joke when it comes to customer service. 0 stars.

They did an outstanding job on repairing my Jaguar while on an extended vacation. While I was without cell service during my trip I did have email access and they kept me updated through my insurance company on a weekly basis. Car was finished when promised and I can highly recommend them to any others who have an issue in the Wilmington North Carolina area.

I had Port City Collision repair my truck after a collision. When I went to pick it up the first thing I noticed was how amazing it looked. You could not tell the difference between the factory paint job. On top of that, they detailed the whole outside of the vehicle as well as the interior. I recently used Port City Collision after I was hit by a big A truck on the highway. It smashed the whole front end of my Honda Element in. My little toaster is my dream car. I love that car like it is my own little baby. Its basically my little toaster baby. Walt is the name of the man who was in charge of my car. It was like I was talking with a friend or an awesome uncle every time I called Walt. Seth was great as well, and Chris. All the guys there will treat you like family and will do everything they can to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. I was told that my car was a total loss and of course I could not accept that. So after I whined for a good 2 days, Walt called me and told me he would go ahead and try his best to fix it. I got my car back in 3 times better shape than it was in even before the accident. I dont know much about the collision companies in Wilmington but I do know that if you choose Port City Collision, you will have Zero regrets about your decision. Thanks again, guys!

I purchased a new 2017 Ram 1500 last year and as I waxed it I noticed several places where it appeared to have trash in the paint. After talking with the factory representative they agreed to have Port City Collision buff the entire truck. There was also an area inside the door where it needed to be repainted. This truck looks and shines almost like a show car, the time they spent correcting the factory issues has made a satisfied customer in me. What a great job Matt and the team did and I would not hesitate to use them in the future if I needed a body shop (hopefully not) but they truly provide great customer care!

Great place to take your car if you need bodywork. Staff was super helpful and even got the dealership to pay for the clear coat peeling off my roof on my 2013 beetle. Very pleased. Car came back super clean also.

My wife’s car went in to get body work done and I gotta say, they did top notch work! We are very happy with how the car was fixed and I will recommend my friends and family to PCC.

I have now been to this shop twice with my A4. They offer competitive rates, and are fantastic to work with. Each time, they were able to fit me into their schedule quickly. They also worked efficiently and had my car back to me within a short amount of time. They work well with my insurance company, and Hertz rental. I was able to drop my rental at the shop, and they called Hertz for pickup. I will continue to come to Port City Collision for a long time.

It took over two months to return my car

Fantastic experience with Port City Collision, Brian and his entire team. My brand-new Range Rover was recently involved in an incident for which Port City repaired perfectly and promptly with amazing professionalism. Ill highly recommend Port City to anyone considering having a high end car repaired like a Range Rover, Audi, BMW or Mercedes. They have the certifications and experience to make nice cars perfect again!!

My review was originally 1 star, but I have changed it to 3. This is due to the conversations Ive had with Port City Collision since my first review. Ive only been had contact with about 3 people at Port City Collision. But these employees have been incredibly kind and professional. Our car took longer to fix than expected and the estimated was very off due to the fact that a part time employee gave us our estimate. And part time employees dont know the amount of time it takes to make repairs.All in all - Port City Collision was okay. They fixed our car, but it took 2 trips for that to happen. I paid for something that wasnt fix and had to bring it back to get it fixed. They were non-responsive until I showed a little frustration.The facility was very clean and the waiting area was nice. The hours are abysmal.

My car looks great. They are very professional and friendly. They took care of everything with the insurance and Hertz. When I picked it up I drove away and it started making a bad sound but I turned around and they fixed it again so I had it the next day. Highly recommend them.

These guys are really good at what they do. They were amazingly helpful throughout the process. They got me in quickly, finished the work in 2 days, and gave my car back cleaner than the day I drove it away from the dealership. I was not expecting the full detail (which was way better than the work from a local detail shop), and it was the icing on the cake.

I took my 2018 camaro in to them when someone rear-ended it and I have to 100% honest!!! WOW!! The fact that my car looks like it never happened is sooo crazy they did an amazing job!!! The staff are super friendly and very very informative!! I mostly spoke with Dawn and she kept me informed of everything that was going on. The manager Matt was super polite and very quick to handle any concerns I had and I just want to say thank you for making my car look show room quality again! Hopefully I won’t have to have any body work in the future but if I do!! You’ve got my business! Again thank you!!!

What can I say about Port City Collision that isnt good?! Nothing! Theyre amazing! I needed a certified Tesla shop to deal with my car that had been backed into. Sadly there was not one in Raleigh any longer so I made the trip to Port City. No regrets!To top it off... They detailed the INSIDE of my car! It has been so long since I had time to do that... It was so unexpected and I apologize to the employees that had to deal with my mess but it was an AMAZING job.Communication was on point and constant too. Zero issues with getting a rental.. they have a good working relationship with Hertz down the street.Hopefully I never need them again but if I do.. I will 100% drive and bring my car to them.(Yes in the photo my rim is still damaged... Unfortunately it is rare and no replacement available)

I had an even better experience with Port City Collision than I could have imagined. I have a 1995 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that I LOVE. It is totally reliable, even though it is approaching 260,000 miles. Over the years, it had gotten a number of dents and dings. The front of the hood was peppered with rock marks. The paint was a gray that I no longer liked.Bryan Harrell, the owner of Port City Collision, helped me pick a compatible color that was much nicer - lots of metalflake blue mixed in. His team took my truck totally apart - doors, bed, bumpers. I know this because I visited the shop in the middle of the process!They dealt with every blemish and every detail - even things I hadnt seen. Its beautiful now - like I have a brand new truck. I couldnt believe it; my friends couldnt believe it.Since then, I have sent several people to Port City. If you want the best, this is the place.Michael B.

They helped me BOTH times someone had broken into/damaged my car. The first time I went though them they were so professional and even had a rental car ready to help. The second time I went through Safelitte for my car didn’t suffer body damage, but Port City Collision cleaned/wiped/vacuum sealed the window for me at no charge! Very personalized customer service, very professional. Should I need service done again, I would return.

I will never recommend this collision place to anyone. Took forever to get in, and than said it was ready to be picked up, and when I got there, the whole rear bumper was still all cracked and no one said anything, was just going to let me go. So they said they had to order a part for it which wouldnt come in until Wednesday. It would have been nice if someone had told me that. Not to mention when Wednesday came no one called. Next day I called and part hadnt come in yet. When it did they wanted me to come and drop it off, I had already taken time off of work the first couple of times, so this time they agreed to come to my work and pick it up. When it was ready, the part they fixed was not fixed at all. Said to me how it was a used car and it would never be perfect and they could just glue it back down. So anyway just had them take it back today for the 4th time, to get it back and doesnt look like they did anything. The two guys that dropped it off had no idea what they did and were surprised the estimator had not called me, and they said they would have him call me.. its not so much of the work that they did, but the way they did it. Just didnt give me any info, expected me to just take my car when it was not fixed. I can go on and on.. but I am very dissatisfied to say the least, and I will try to steer others away from there.

I have had the opportunity to work with Brian and the great team at Port City Collision on 4 separate occasions. Two of the times, I darn near totaled my 2011 Kia Soul. Each time, Port City was able to restore the vehicle back to its original shape, color, and quality. One of the 4 times, was caused simply by a dump truck, losing some rocks, thus peppering my vehicle. Once Port City got their hands on that vehicle, It was as good as new. My Most recent visit was for a 2014 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Edition. This truck is my favorite vehicle that I have ever had, so I was devastated when it was damaged by a car wash. I knew it would be in good hands at Port City and I was right. I just this week took possession of my truck, all shiny and new again. Great job as always to my go to guys @ port City Collision. If you still have doubts, stop in and speak to one of the friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staffers for a competitive quotation or just to get to know them. I mentioned Brian, but I have also had the privilege of working with Walt and that exchange was equally impressive.

My experience with them was decent. They did a great job with my car but when it came down to the quote they were a little wishy washy. Keep on top of them especially if you are running the damages through insurance because all they want to do is collect the check from them. I had some major issues with this and in the end I got really screwed over.

I got a quote from another body shop saying that my repair was going to take 2-3 days and roughly $500-$800. Went here and they told me that my damage was minor and superficial. It took maybe 10 minutes and was completely free! Will definitely recommend

Highly recommend! The dent guy at PCC did an excellent job on a dent on my forester...also the guys at PCC buffed out a scratch on my door panel..you would never know I had a dent or scratch!! Great customer service too from the receptionist to the service guys!!
