Bobby and his staff are awesome, I had to get some minor repairs to my Subaru and he worked closely with me and really explained what to expect and went above and beyond to make sure that my insurance company paid for proper repairs. They take pride in their work and it shows. I would highly recommend him to everyone and will not hesitate to use him again. I actually had too, less than a month later when my 2nd vehicle was in a car accident. Unfortunately this car was not worth repairing but once again Bobby took care of everything for me and dealt with my insurance. He made a difficult situation pleasant and easy. I backed my Palisade into my garage, smashed the drivers side mirror, got paint scratches on the door. Bobby wiped the paint off immediately and put my mind at ease. I ordered a new mirror from the dealer and had it sent to Auto Color. I returned a few days later so the mirror could be switched out. The job was perfect and I will not hesitate to refer or use Auto Color again. Bobby was professional and did the job for a fair price.

Bobby and his team were great. I have a Land Rover where we were switching out the silver customizations for black. Bobby took care of a ridiculous situation pertaining to a claim with State Farm (not my insurance company). State Farm tried to cut corners and save a buck by using salvaged parts. When Bobby finally spoke to someone at State Farm with half a brain. He was able to get the parts needed. And complete the service. Auto color turned a bad situation into a good one. Had a lady hit my rear wheel of my truck and crack my fender flare. My car was hit and damaged pretty bad. This is the second accident I have been in in Wilmington. The first time I took it to Jeff Gordon Chevrolet and was extremely disappointed with their work.Bobby was very upfront and honest about the work he anticipating needing to be done. My car was in and out in less than a week and looked better than it did before my accident! They cleaned up the inside and outside and really went above and beyond. The paint looked wonderful as well. They called me periodically to keep me updated on the work they were doing. Would recommend, 10/10 take your vehicle here!

These guys are great. They communicated very well through the whole process and they did excellent work. My truck looks better than it did before I got hit and they even gave it a wash and vacuum before they gave it back to me. I was short on time so they took care of my rental return for me too. Bobby and Anthony are top notch. After a recent encounter with Gerber in Portersneck, I needed my other vehicle repaired after it was stolen. Needless to say I was a bit on edge after the last body shop interaction. Bobby assured me that he wouldn’t take the vehicle until he was ready to start on it. Took it to him the following Monday. As my schedule happened to be I had an appointment at a neighboring business Tuesday afternoon. So I just had to cruise through the lot and look around. What did I find? My truck already disassembled and draped and taped for repairs!!!!! That’s right less than 24 hours and he was on it. (This was not a small job.) That Friday I had an update and expected finish date. The morning of the projected date I got a call with a final price (That wasn’t a huge surprise like my Gerber encounter) and that I could pick it up after lunch. When I arrived the truck had been detailed inside and out and Bobby met me in the parking lot to look it over before we ever discussed payment. As long as they are open I will never go anywhere else.Special shout out to Anthony. Thank you for the solid estimate and not trying to disguise any surprises. Though not the lowest bid, but certainly not the highest, Bobby took the time to cover everything and put a very understandable offer together. After someone rear-ended me a month ago, I needed a new bumper on my car. Bobby and his team at Autocolor were able to get GM parts for my SUV and fix my bumper, exhaust, and step cover WITHIN 24 hours! Bobby also called Enterprise for me so I would be able to rent a car and he kept in constant contact with my insurance company about what all was being done. From the first meeting and estimation to the scheduling, drop off and return, this has been an absolute pleasure. I was told I would have it back by Friday. On Thursday Bobby called and said it would be ready by 230pm that day. Good to his word the car looks as if it were new. I recommend Autocolor to everyone I know for body/collision work. After finding damage to the door and quarter panel of my car, I took it to Autocolor, to see Bobby. When looking at my car, Bobby called out one of his body guys to look over the damage to my car with him, to confirm how much work the body guy thought would go into repairs, rather than guessing or just entering it into a computer. After looking over my car, Bobby sat down with me and explained the processed and time it would take to repair my car, and how much it would cost. Bobby, even suggested other body/collision shops in the area to get quotes with, whom he has previously worked for before opening his own shop, and knowing he could loose my business to them.In the end Autocolor won my business. They were not the most expensive quote, nor the cheapest. However, they set themselves apart with their friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism, making me feel confident and comfortable when choosing them to take care of my car. I will also be taking my car back to them whenever I need body work in the future, and recommend anyone who needs any done to use them as well.

I cannot say enough good things about Bobby and Auto Color of Wilmington. They replaced the door to my Rav4 that had been badly messed up by some other body shop. I had to take it back to them b/c a little bit of paint chipped off (due to no fault of their own), and Bobby fixed it free of charge. My daughters carseat was in the back, and is a beast to get out/put in, so rather than getting a babysitter so I could get someone to take me to pick the car up, they brought it right back to my house. I rarely leave comments about places I go (even ones I like), but Auto Color so far exceeded my expectations I had to say something. Oh, and their estimate was the cheapest out of the three estimates I got!
