During our search for an induction range, we stopped at National Appliance, Fairfax, Concord Pike. We were greeted by a nice gentleman named Thaddeus. It soon became apparent that Thaddeus was very knowledgeable as he pointed out the critical differences amongst the various brands, pros and cons, availability, prices and warranty options. He was not in the least pushy, but rather just provided the factual data to allow the customer to make an informed decision. I ended up with a Fisher Paykel Induction Range which will be delivered within a week.Unlike most stores selling appliances, National Appliance actually had stock on many ranges so I was able to avoid constant delivery delays as I had previously from Home Depot, on a Bosch Range that I ended up canceling after six (6) months.In summary, shop for appliances at National Appliance Concord Pike and ask for Thaddeus. You’ll be grateful you did. I’ll be updating this review after delivery and after six (6) months of use.

I placed our appliance order with Heather. She kept me updated on when when our items would be in stock and went above and beyond to confirm measurements and delivery for us even when we had multiple contractor delays on our project. We now have our appliances installed and we are so happy. Working with NAW was a much better alternative than ordering through the big box stores.

Ordered a dishwasher,,waited 2 weeks.my old dishwasher was hard wired when new dishwasher was delivered the installer said the new dishwasher had a plug. On it and had to be plugged in so he couldnt install it.salesman should have told me that when I bought it but apparently he didnt know his merchandise very well. I sent it back and went to the store to pickout a new one. That didnt go well at all so I just got a refund and figure Ill go take my business to a place that is really wanted to help me.

I went to National Appliance Warehouse about 2 weeks ago, and got my laundry there. I was told to get LG for laundry as they are number 1 when it comes to laundry, etc... and they were correct about that. I was helped by someone named Heather, who then asked someone named Jim the answer to a question that she simply didnt know. Which I didnt mind, as my questions still got answered. I will be referring people to National Appliance Warehouse as my experience was very welcoming. Also thank you to the manager Scott, who is always ready and willing to help anyone who walks through the door, get what they came for.

Run, dont walk away from this place. Once they sell you something they will never call you back. I received my appliances over $24,000 worth but they did not send the hood vent for the stove. Even though, two months prior I was told that it was in and ready for delivery. I had to call 7 times, explain my story to six different people over the course of three weeks to finally get someone to acknowledge that I did not receive the hood vent. I had to delay my inspections, the cabinet installers could not finish, and I spent hours on the phone trying to get what you think would be a simple issue resolved. I have finally received the hood and have now placed four calls with no call back to at least have someone acknowledge that this was an issue. Noone is ever there or available, including your own sales person, and they will NEVER EVER call you back. Worst store EVER!!!! Lets hope there are no issues once everything is turned on.

The assistant manager (David Webster) took care of all of our needs. We replace all of our kitchen appliances at a very responsible cost. Not only was the price right (for good quality products), David took the time to listen to our needs and matched us with exactly what fit us. They are Still taking care of things that pop up from time to time. We always have a question about the appliance, a rebate of the warranties, and David and his team always do their best to make sure we get a satisfactory answer. I will be buying all of my appliances from them for now on (even the appliances for my rental homes).

The staff was very friendly, took all necessary Covid precautions, and the fridge was delivered quickly and installed in perfect condition. Update: I was contacted by NAW and informed that I was incorrectly directed to contact Viking myself. They were able to arrange the necessary repairs within a day. I appreciate their responsiveness and follow up to correct the situation.Recently purchased a 36 Viking range to replace a 20+ year old model in kind. Waited 7 weeks for delivery and installation by a third party. The oven lit during the installation checkout but would not relight later the same day. Contacted National Appliance Warehouse and was informed that they can not repair specialty brands and that I had to reach out to Viking for service which is an additional 3 weeks before they can have anyone out. There is enough blame to share with Viking but I also have an issue with National Appliance Warehouse selling and leaving me with a $6000 range that they can not install, service, or stand by. Two stars only because I had a satisfactory experience with a dishwasher purchase a few years back.

I had just left the gym, when I decided I would go check out appliances for my remodel. Let me tell you, absolute worst customer service and no regard for the health and safety of the customers or workers.Immediately as I walked I was greeted by a salesman was not wearing his mask. The floor was dirty, and the place was disorganized. I thought it was a scratch and dent store. So trashy. I overheard a sales person talking down to a customer on the phone. As I walked around, No one helped me, so I walked out. It’s a shame, I spent $37,000 at Gerhards on my beautiful new kitchen.I do not recommend this business, I never leave reviews, The mask thing really set me off.

We have loved National Appliance from our first purchase over two years ago! Yaron was amazing in helping us find a refrigerator that would fit through our narrow doorways of our home when 3 attempts with the big box stores could not get us what we needed. We have since been back to replace our bed, our guest bed and most recently our kid’s bed. I took my 5 year old into the store to choose his mattress and again was met with exceptional customer service and kindness from the staff. We don’t go into many stores due health concerns, but we felt very safe roaming the store and trying out mattresses. My kiddo parked himself on one of the beds while Yaron and I worked on the paperwork. And when the bed was delivered, the guys offered to let my kiddo ‘sign’ the paperwork. A little kindness goes a long way! From purchase to delivery, they are the best!

We bought an oven from this company on December 3. We were made responsible for arranging for installation with National Appliance’s installer (who has been great!). It was supposed to be installed on December 19. We called on December 14 to make sure all was good. No red flags. We received word from the installation company on December 18 that the oven was not there when they went to pick it up. We called National Appliance on Dec. 18 and were told the salesman was on vacation and no one else could tell us the status of the oven. It is 2pm on December 19, after multiple phone calls and being on hold for 20 minutes while the one person in the store who they will allow to talk to me helped another customer, we still have no clue where the oven we paid for in full is, and no one at the store seems willing to help us. There could be a legitimate reason the oven isn’t there yet, but we will never know because they won’t talk to us. Terrible customer service. Do not buy from here.

I have bought two appliances from them. The first was a dishwasher for my dad and he was very happy with it. The second was a refrigerator for a rental unit. There was a problem with the delivery as the men said it wouldnt fit and they were going to leave it in the dining room. The tenant stopped them as the miss measured. They needed 29 and had 32. I dont know how they could be that far off.

We purchased over $10K of appliances for our home in Philadelphia, PA toward the end of 2018 from the National Appliance Warehouse including a GE Cafe fridge, GE Cafe 6 burner stove, Zephyr hood, Bosch dishwasher, and Electrolux washer and dryer. We chose this store because we wouldnt have to pay taxes and they deliver to Philadelphia. Our experience was great, the staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The appliances were all delivered when we needed them, they even held the appliances for us until we were ready for them.We recently had an issue with the silverware drawer in our Bosch dishwasher and Joe Kelly was extremely helpful with resolving our problem. We highly recommend purchasing appliances from the National Appliance Warehouse for their excellent service and tax-free shopping.

I have bought numerous items over the years here and was extremely happy with all aspects (process, delivery, price point etc.). I recently bought a dishwasher and it has been a total nightmare. The dishwasher I bought was delivered defective so we sent it back but had to wait 3 weeks for a similar version that could be available. I found out the dishwasher that was installed was damaged as well on the back top corner It has been leaking out of the back and into my basement only weeks after being installed. When I called to get this removed and returned I was told no returns or refunds and to wait for service and maintenance, which was a 10 day wait. The individual on the phone said they will let my salesperson know as well, but they never reached out to try to accelerate the process. The service and maintenance has now said they will receive new parts but dont know a time frame for when they will be in. I have a defective machine sitting in the middle my kitchen with no clue of when this will be fixed and 0 customer service to try to rectify this process. I will be calling my bank to begin a charge back.

I will ONLY buy my appliances here from now on! The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially a gentleman named Yaron! I was trying to look for a new oven and was very overwhelmed because I never had to do this before. He showed me many options, explained them and made suggestions as to what might be best for me. He made everything so easy, he never made me feel rushed and answered my questions over and over, no matter how many times I asked! I rarely write a review, but this is incredibly well deserved. We remodeled our kitchen and needed all new appliances. This was in July 2020 right in the early days of the pandemic.We went to National and we ere approached by Jay, an affable and knowledgeable sales manager.He guided us with regard to need, budget, reliability and style. Another consideration was availability, as factories were behind from Covid-19 closures.Jay completely held our hand and worked to find us the appliances that fit our kitchen and were in our budget. He also helped us match the appliances with our design in order that everything worked together.There were some items he said we did not need and steered us away from excesses. and extra warranties that we didnt needJay even filled out our rebate paperwork that GE offered.What a refreshing experience to trust and have faith in a vendorThe appliances were delivered on time and with a helpful crew.The best pat is that we had a minor dent on one of the appliances and Jay and National got right to Ge to schedule an appt for a replacement part.They treat you right!

First, i want to say i love my bosch dishwasher. the salesperson steve was great and very helpful. the installation leaves alot to be desired. for one thing they were there for over 2 hours. the one guy didnt do anything but run back and forth to the truck and tried to rush the other guy. i dont know if that led to the fact that he didnt tighten the clamp on the drainage hose and tried to duct tape it on and it came off and water started gushing all over the floor. my friend had to peel the duct tape off and reclamp it. they also left without installing the kick plate. i paid $165 to have it installed. i expect to have the whole thing installed and done correctly.

Scott, my salesman, was very knowledgeable about the washer/dryer which I was interested in, as well as some other possible future purchases. Bought a Zline duel fuel range, salesman talked us into it. Said it would take 2 weeks to deliver, it took 6 weeks. Hooked it up and it did not work. Called store and wanted a refund, they said nothing they can do. Called Zline they wanted to send a repair man, I said no its brand new. I wanted a brand new one. They agreed but cannot get a hold of anyone now. So going on 2 months unable to cook. Stick to Amazon or Big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot. The range is cheaper and you can return if there is a problem.

Washer broke and my husband and I went to National Appliance Warehouse needing to buy a washer/dryer that night, The person assisting us (Thaddeus) answered our question and told us the appliances would be available on Friday. He later called and said the dryer would available on Friday but the washer would not be available until Tuesday. It sounds like no big deal but it would have caused many problems in finding a time to pick up the appliances, having a washer available for our very dirty clothes and trying to do this in the context of a funeral for an immediate relative who had just died very suddenly. Thaddeus intervened on his day off to have the washer delivered on Monday. I cannot tell you how professional yet gracious he was in assisting us to make sure we got our purchases as soon as possible. He went out of his way to honor his commitment and keep his word. I cant thank him enough.

This place is amazing. We just purchased a dryer from them. It was a painless process and Jay was so helpful and honest. The price was fantastic. There was no holding for 30 minutes to speak to a human. He put us in for delivery about 36 hours later for first thing in the morning. The delivery guys couldn’t have been more friendly and professional. This is how businesses are supposed to operate for their clients. Our shopping experience with Frank was amazing. We purchased over $8000 worth of appliances and it was smooth from ordering to delivery. Then we had an issue. The dishwasher that should be measuring at 24 inches does not fit in the 24 3/8 gap that we have. We called National Appliance Warehouse to discuss since they told us during our shopping experience that we should go through them for all service needs. They have not been helpful in the slightest. They keep telling us theres nothing they can do and that we have to hire their installer so that it will fit. Our professional, certified plumber couldnt make it work, your installer cant actually cut the side of a dishwasher. They promised to call us back and nothing. Clearly they just wanted our money and now dont want to help with our issues.Update: After posting this review the store manager called me to make this right. They have offered to fully fix the issue by replacing this one with a new, smaller version. I greatly appreciate Scott following up and making this right.

Cant say enough good things about this company. I was in the market for a washer and dryer and had my eye on a specific model & color. I checked the typical big box retailers but they were on backorder and their customer service left much to be desired. On a whim I started reaching out to smaller local retailers and as luck would have it National Appliance Warehouse had them in stock! Thaddeus Reed reached out after I submitted an inquiry online, and placed my order over the phone in about 15 minutes. He was knowledgeable about the products and ensured I had all the necessary accessories to stack them in my laundry closet. The machines were delivered a week later (about a month before the larger stores would have been able to) and the delivery guys were prompt, careful and courteous. The cherry on top is that the price was better than any other retailer as well! I highly recommend this company and will definitely be a return customer.

Not only did NAW have everything in stock that we wanted, our salesman, Matt, was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. It was a very pleasurable shopping experience. Debbie in Customer Service was extremely polite and cheerful and followed up on our delivery date, as did Matt. The delivery men installed each item with precision and care. True professionals. About two years ago, I bought almost an entire kitchen of appliances from National Appliance Warehouse because (1) they had the most competitive prices and (2) the sales person actually listened to what I wanted in each appliance rather than trying to push something pricier. After researching how frequently appliances these days can have issues, I got the extended warranties. The gasket on the refrigerator went two months ago and the service provider chosen by the warranty company kept giving me the run-around about when they would be able to fix it. That is until I took the issue directly to National Appliance. The staff there lit whatever fires needed lighting and within TWO days I had a completely fixed refrigerator. They got done in two days what I couldnt get done in two months and it was incredibly reassuring to realize I had an ally!! Definitely recommend using them, particularly because of their follow through!

Ordered 4appliances 2 months ago and put down $1500 cash and financed balance and still have not received appliances. I have called twice and have been told fridge is on back order but never get a call to update me on when appliances will be in. I have received a bill from citi bank though and have made 2 payments on appliances that I have not received. I was never told appliances would take months to get or I would have picked out different ones. Poor communication from my sales person.

We went to National Appliance to look into buying a refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher after looking at several other stores. Frank, our salesperson was helpful, professional and very knowledgeable. He educated us on all the features of the refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher and we got a much better price that the other stores we had previously been too! This is the second time I am going to National Appliance Warehouse. The first time time it was excellent. Today, I was trying to call them and place an order and the sales associate (Jim) did not even try to listen to what I wanted. I was prepared to wait for the order and I am not in a hurry but he wanted me to buy a $800 refrigerator I did not need. It was his way of saying take it or leave it. The only reason I called the store was that the associate who could help me could not help me today. I am planning to wait and I am trying to get to a manager to report this incident.

Made wholesale promises that they never delivered on, after waiting 3 months they showed up without all the appliances after telling us that everything was finally in. Pretty sad customer service from floor manager with a very smug attitude. I have no confidence in anything they say after spending $10k on Bosch kitchen appliances and Frigidaire washer and dryer. I bought a brand new Whirlpool dryer from national appliance on Concord Pike in Wilmington Delaware in January of 2019. Two weeks after getting the dryer it would not take any load more than 5 pieces of clothes. They sent a service repair person out from at your service who said there was nothing he could do about it .I called national appliance spoke to Brad or Steve and explained the situation and was told they had to have a service person out 3 times before whirlpool would do any Replacement . That was a whirlpool policy. When I was buying the dryer I was told by a the salesperson Joe that I had a one year warranty and if anything happened with the dryer they would replace it with no problem. He obviously did not know the full information on What it would take if a replacement was necessary. Scott the manager was extremely nice and accommodating he did everything to try to get my issues with the machine resolved after my complaints. He even sent out someone from, at your service, The company who does any repairs needed for them, On his day off to figure out the problem. Dave was the only one rude to me and my husband and hung the phone up on us when he called to get an appointment set up to have the machine looked at by the owner of At your service He had the audacity to tell me to hang my clothes outside or go to the laundry mat. Truthfully Scott Was extremely accommodating an extremely respectful and extremely helpful. He listened to my concerns and sent a service person out on his day off a Saturday. For this reason I have changed my original post because at the end of it all they came through and now as of today my dryer is working and it turns out if I had used it I may have been injured. So thank you Mitch very much and Scott you are a great asset to National Appliance Warehouse. Yes I would shop here again.

Bought a Samsung dishwasher from this company due to high demands at other stores. Purchased right off the floor, was charged the same price for new in box item even asking about “open box policy”. Asked about military incentives and got nothing more then the corporate “thanks and we try to help services members but don’t offer anything”. I don’t believe that I am entitled to discounts, however how can you say you support military but don’t actually do anything?Got home and realized they did not include the bottom kick plate so just have a rubber flap covering the bottom of the machine. Dishwasher fails to dry and will frequently pop open during cycles. Contacted the store directly and was told they can set up service from Samsung directly. Now getting the run around from Samsung even with item being under warranty. Little support from National.

Our dishwasher died so we went NAW for a new one. The professional sales team recommended a dishwasher that met our specs. We had it installed today by a very courteous team of techs who had old one out, while taking care not to get kitchen wet from removing. Installed the new, did a test run and in just about an hour, they were done. They were here at the time frame they said they would be too.Great company to do business with. Highly recommend them to you for your appliances or mattress needs.

Great store, great service and pricing. With a week from hell dealing with Lowe’s, the Bear, DE store (long story), we decided to cancel our new stove order and visit National Appliance Warehouse. Frank and Steve were informative and educating. They paired us with the right stove to fit our needs. Pricing was fabulous! They not only ordered the stove the same day- Saturday, they had it in their store Monday just 2 days later for us to pick up. After almost a week with no stove, we were super thankful for National Appliance Warehouse for allowing us the opportunity to cook again. Nothing beats a home cooked meal!

Bought an induction cooktop from Dave Weintraub. Had the countertop surveyed the next day which required the granite to be cut in order to fit the cooktop we bought or look for another one would fit our dimensions. Called and left a msg the next day, no response. Had to stop in the store for him to tell us that There wasn’t another one to fit our dimensions unless we went with the same cooktop brand or cut the granite. We opted with cutting the granite with Alfredo. He did not know what his charges would be but thought it would be around $200s. He charged us $425 to cut 1/4” of granite. Then I try contacting Tim the installer to finish connecting the cooktop as it now has been almost 2 wks w/o a cooktop and I wanted it working asap. 2-3 days go by with minimal response other than a text saying he’s booked for another 2 wks. Dave gives us a call saying that unfortunately he’s the only installer they have and he is busy. He tried to give me a date in Sept which doesn’t work because of course it’s on the only day of the week that I work in the office. States that he’s been trying to contact me but I know who calls me on my cell and there were no msgs on voicemail list. He never told us that the installation may be delayed because they only use 1 installer. Still waiting from him for an installation date. Extremely poor communication! So now I scheduled Best Buy to install it next week. What’s the use of having available appliance but can’t install for another month.

I can recommend this business without any hesitation. I have been doing business with this independent, locally owned business for years. I have always been extremely happy with their prices, and more importantly, their knowledgeable customer oriented staff. One of the things that really stands out to me is that the owner still works at the store. They have always beat any competitive pricing, usually by a significant margin. I cant imagine why I would ever buy another appliance, grill, or mattress from anyone else.

We bought a Speed Queen washing machine from this place. We decided it was worth the extra money to pay for a highly rated brand.We also bought from this place as opposed to a large chain because we mistakenly thought they would be more responsive in the event of any problems.Four months after buying the washer, it stopped working. We figured out it was a problem with the lid locking mechanism And personally went to Nationals Appliance Warehouse to speak to someone in person about the issue. We were informed it would be taken care of.Two weeks later, after multiple phone calls and visits we still DON’T have a working washer.We have been told they don’t do repairs and that they will get someone else to do. That person to repair the washing machine seems to be about as rare as a unicorn.We’ve had to pack our dirty laundry in suitcases and take it on vacation with us in order to use the washer at our hotel.We continue to call the place daily and keep getting shuffled from one person to another.So if you need to buy a washer, you’re better off picking one up from somebody’s lawn. I would avoid this place like the plague.It’s a shame that is not possible to give zero stars in this review.

The salesperson (Jay) knew exactly what he was talking about and easily answered all of our questions. They didnt try to sell us things that we didnt need, and actually took the time to look up available rebates on the appliances we purchased. Prices were unbeatable!
