We usually buy from the Jacksonville store, but wanted to try the Wilmington store for beds. So glad we did. Both places have great prices and items are always in stock.
Had an issue with a mattress and was not supposed to return it in store. Brad the manager did everything to make sure I got the mattress I needed and did the exchange for us! Would give them 100 stars if possible. Wonderful people and I highly recommend them!

Went in looking for a couch and chair, matching set. Was immediately greeted by Trey Gales.... he assisted me. He was extremely knowledgeable and I could tell he was honest. He wanted to confirm every piece of furniture before he told me it was available and was not trying to over promise that it would arrive before Christmas, which wasn’t what I wanted to hear but I appreciated his honesty. He took a measuring tape and measured each piece for me to make sure it would fit my home. He didn’t rush me, he was patient, very kind and extremely professional. I left to go look at other furniture stores, I wasn’t even greeted when I walked in so I left and came back to furniture fair and made my purchase even though I am hoping my items make it before Christmas, I understand they may not. Ask for Trey you won’t be disappointed.

Last Monday I received my sectional, which unfortunately had a tear. I called the store and they immediately addressed my issue. I am so impressed with their customer service. Four days later, a new sectional was delivered. Furniture Fair was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
Price is higher than room to go and their furniture is very poor quality. The people are super nice that work there.
We called Furniture Fair a few weeks ago to see if they had a fridge we wanted in stock and to order it because we weren’t able to order online and get it delivered to Leland. They then made us take a trip to the store to have them make a copy of my husband’s ID, didn’t even give us the option to email it and when he went into the store the employees he had to interact with weren’t wearing masks, which makes us very uncomfortable. When the delivery day came, the guys delivering it were kind enough to point out significant damage to the fridge before they brought it in our house. It turns out the fridge was out of stock so they sent us the display. No one ever told me I was buying a display (I would have never said yes to a display fridge) and they charged us the same cost as a brand new fridge. They took the fridge back with them and we’re still waiting on our refund. I don’t plan on buying anything from this store again anytime soon.

Our family recently relocated and we looked at every furniture store in Wilmington for a sectional. We visited Furniture Fair 2 days prior to today’s visit and we were greeted by Allen. He walked us through the store, showed us what we thought we were looking for at the time, and also opened us up to a few options completely off our list. On this day, we left empty-handed but that was mostly thanks to Allen’s honesty and value in not wanting to sell us something which would ultimately not work for our family. He was also very informed on the options within the store, between manufacturers and even how the couch would hold up in our specific household. Today, after looking at a few more stores, we came back to purchase a sectional we never thought we’d like but is the best value, fit and quality for our family. Come see Allen. Also, the nation is going through a pandemic and all stores big and small are experiencing difficulty with manufacturing and distributing. I’m just glad they are able to stay open and a dedicated person like Allen (who is also a US Veteran) has a job!

Went there today to buy a dinette. We were greeted pleasantly and pointed in the right direction. We picked out a set but had a few questions. After 15 minutes with no contact I went to customer service. We were told someone would be with us in a moment. We waited about 5 minutes then left. On the way out an associate held the door and told us to have a nice day. I think they need more sales associates. We went a few blocks down the road and found a set there we are probably going to order.
Avoid at all cost. You are better off at literally anywhere else. First of all, like everybody mentioned, nothing is in stock, everyone was told to wait 1-3 months with no certainty your items will arrive within that time frame. Second, the things they sell can all be found online at much lower price points. We bought a sofa that was exactly the same as the one they had on the floor for 50% of their asking price. Just check the manufacturer and model number and google it. Third, the quality does not match the price. If we are spending 3000 on a piece of furniture, we expect good quality material and craftsmanship, not some cheap pressed wood garbage imported from China! Lastly, unreliable staff. They are all smiling and friendly when they try to get you to pay. But once something goes wrong, oh boy, youll see the other side. Thank God we paid with credit card so we could dispute our transaction successfully.

I had a great shopping experience, until they delivered the wrong bed. After delivering the wrong bed, I went a week before I had to call them to learn that my bed was no longer in the warehouse. They sold my bed. Then I had to wait another 2 weeks before I again had to call to inquire about my bed. I have asked to speak with the manager on 4 separate occasions and HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. HE ACTED LIKE HE WAS TO GOOD TO SPEAK WITH ME ABOUT THEIR MESS UP. I spent over $4000 in this store and he couldn’t return a call. THE WORSE MANAGEMENT EVER. The best part of their business was Larkin the lady at customer service who tried with all her heart to help me. It has been over a month of me waiting for this bed with ZERO communication from any manager. I will not recommend them nor will I spend another dime there. If it wasn’t for the hassle of it, I WOULD TELL THEM TO COME GET ALL THE REST OF THE FURNITURE I BOUGHT FROM THEM. I would get ALL MY MONEY BACK.
People their are so Friendly, Kind and Caring what you are shopping for. The Ladies in the back office are super great. They do need to come down on prices some.
Went to buy a sofa set. Prices are good however nothing in showroom was available??? 4-12 week wait, who can wait that long for furniture. They do not sell floor models. We went too Rose Bros and got a set 1 day later delivered. Furniture Fair is a joke you cannot buy because nothing is in stock. It all has to be ordered properly from overseas. Buyer beware!!!

I went to Furniture Fair to replace my sectional with a new sectional. Tydrea was the sales woman that assisted me. Shes a sweetheart and an absolute pleasure to do business with. She was very engaged and helpful in finding what I was looking for. Ill be coming back to look for her for future furniture needs.

An employee with his mask around his chin approached us to offer help when we needed it. A bit later we asked him for prices on a couple items we were interested in. He had to check. Based on the signs all over the place, we expected 50-80% off. No, just a bit off the ticketed price. The more we looked around, the more people we saw with no mask. Not worth the stop.
Worst experience ever buying furniture. They made every aspect difficult, ordering, planning for pickup, pickup. Once we got home and removed it from packaging, we realized they had sent the wrong furniture. It has been weeks now of dodging phone calls and evasive answers as to the status of the correct furniture. Would not buy a throw pillow from there.

Worse place to buy furniture unless you are willing to wait 4 to 12 weeks to get in what you want. No lie we asked about 9 different couches and 3 different love seats and they did not have any of them said 4 to 12 weeks. If looking for something right away keep driving.
Place is a joke . Salesman sleeping on couches and two up front were fighting for customers. Walked in looking for something in their ad and saw the exact Piece of furniture in the ad . The salesman said the one in the ad sold out weeks ago and tried to up the price. I laughed at him and left . Also none of the employees were wearing masks . Avoid this place like the plague (literally) .

EDIT 2:Furniture never showed up on September 30th, 2020 as promised by manager Reggie. Never received a phone call and still have not heard from them about why it wasnt delivered. Stay away.EDIT:Received a call back from the store and they told me my dresser would be delivered tomorrow, September 30th, 2020. Im going to bump the rating up a bit, but not much. I do appreciate their willingness to work me into the delivery schedule this week.I ordered furniture from the Wilmington store (two Rustic Nightstand 540-12712-2, one Rustic Dresser 525-12712-9, one King Bookcase Bed 507-12712-8, and one mattress) on August 29th, 2020. We had to go back into the store the very next day because we were given the wrong paperwork to sign, red flag number one.My furniture was delivered and setup late September 7th, 2020. Two days later, three of the drawers on the rustic dresser fell apart, TWO days after I got the furniture. Fine, it happens. Called and scheduled to have them pick the dresser up for repairs and was told it would take 2-3 days to get back to me.Fast forward a week and I FINALLY get a call saying they want to schedule my delivery early in the afternoon on Monday. I was a bit upset because I was promised 2-3 days, and it has now turned into a week and a half.That brings us to yesterday. I get home from work at 5:30 to see the dresser still hasnt been delivered. I called the store and asked for the delivery department, but the man on the phone wouldnt transfer me over to them. He kept saying the delivery was on its way, it was just running late. Never asked for any information from me, so not sure how he knew my delivery was on the way. Dresser never showed up yesterday. Never received a phone call about the dresser.Talked to the store today, Tuesday September 29th, and they tell me it will be Monday October 5th before I get my dresser. That will mark nearly three weeks that they have had my dresser, and I only had it for two days. I am paying on a piece of furniture that I havent even been able to use. They told me on Thursday September 24th Your order will be delivered early Monday, naturally you would think they meant Monday September 28th. Turns out, they meant Monday October 5th. How does that even make sense?This is absolutely terrible experience and as of right now, I will never shop with Furniture Fair again and will recommend friends and family stay far away. I should have read the reviews on Google before I purchased, because theyre all negative too.

Seth was AMAZING at helping us find my mom a bed that would work for her! He worked and worked until we found just the right thing. We got a great price and great terms and the delivery went without a hitch. They even moved the old mattress to my home! I would recommend this store and Seth to anyone looking for great service and fair prices.
I was told sofa set was in stock. Waited an hour and a half waiting to find out about financing and delivery which she said would be about a week or so. Okay great. They finished all the financial papers and when she brought me paperwork to sign she said sorry it is not in stock but should be by the end of May. Mind you it was only May 3rd but okay, I really loved the coach and loveseat and just spent an hour And A half waiting so fine the end of May. Then while signing manager said it was because of Covid 19, but first payment not due till June 15 and it will be in by then. Well June 12 came around no word yet so I called again. Was told by Stephanie she would call me the next day to tell me a date. No call. Called then June 16 and noone can take my call and no one knows when or if it will ever be in stock. But I need to make my payment. I will revise this with outcome.when.and if I ever get a call back. If not soon calling better business bureau.
When the Store Manager himself personally helps you load some HEAVY bedroom furniture on the rental truck? Well you can’t get better customer service than that. My wife and I purchased our furniture from Seth Long (who now manages the store) and he’s truly a professional in every way. We will continue to make all of our furniture purchases in the future from Furniture Fair!
Patricia was very unprofessional and rude. It’s very unfortunate in this racially charged climate that she would project such harsh behavior and criticism towards my niece, her husband and children. The root problems are not being addressed within these companies to provide more proactive care and management of professionalism in their business.

I had a good experience at first I guess you could say. Sales man I spoke too and bought from was Shawn. Had trouble with getting my stuff delivered at first and I should of known I was going to have problems later on with this furniture company. Long story short my bed frame broke so it need new slack rails and a repair. So I called May 8 spoke to someone in Jacksonville who handles the repairs and what not she said I would hear from some one soon (within 24 hrs). A few days go by nothing. Called back same response. Called for the last time and got BULL**** A** answer. “We contacted the Wilmington office and they called you and were unable to reach you. It was your job to call us again to get the problem resolved.”**DON’T PURCHASE FROM THIS FURNITURE COMPANY ****Save yourself the trouble. The staff islazy, neglectful, and above all the company is down right cheap. I ended up paying out of pocket. The CHEAP FURNITURE they sale isn’t worth it believe me!

Bought dishwasher . Did not work properly. Dishes still dirty after cycle finished. Complained to manager several times. Repair service was sent to check it out.Repair man said you need to wash dishes before putting them in dishwasher. I always rinse dishes before loading. I was told by manager there was nothing they could do I just bought a cheap dishwasher. Never saw a more care less manager. I will never shop at that store again. I also bought an expensive mattress when I bought the dishwasher. Very disappointed.

Only criticism is that the checkout process was especially lengthy for what I thought was a strightforward purchase to begin with. I purchased a Lane Recliner on 8/16/14 and now on JULY/2018 a METAL BRACKET broke causing the Seat to sag on one side. I called Furniture Fair in Wilmington and the nice lady said it was still under warranty.....Two big guys came to my house to check it out then took it to Jacksonville 7/19 for repair and I got it back yesterday 7/26/18 and its like new plus (NO CHARGE ) I AM 100% PLEASED WITH FURNITURE FAIR AND THEIR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE BOB RAINEY WILMINGTON NC

I love my couch and carol was awesome but this one star is for one of the salesman who helped me after she couldn’t help me with the financing anymore. First of all this guy was extremely coked out it was uncomfortable so I’m not surprised this is happening. I financed a $1400 couch and was told that I had to pay it off in 6 months for complete interest free so I set my payments high enough to pay it off in time. Well it’s been 6months so I called the place to find out how to find how much I owed (another red flag didn’t tell me where or how to find my payments) and turns out I had to pay almost double than what I financed and there was no interest just a set payment that will get payed off in a year! This information was NEVER given to me had I known this I wouldn’t have bought the damn couch! How dare you manipulate a first time buyer/broke college kid!!
Store employees will practically stalk you while youre browsing, just constantly staring as you walk around and try out the furniture and beds. If you feel like youre being watched, you most likely are.

Not very honest furniture store. Multiple surprises every time we went to finalize the deal. Quoted us a price, (Spencer and Terry) then backed out of price. Sold us 2 chairs to go with what we were buying and then told us they only had 1 chair. We renegotiated one more time and then were told that 4 out of the 6 pieces we were buying would be floor models and sold as is. They would not take any off the price,even though the floor models had some chips and paint overspray. This wasted 4 hours of our day. Needless to say, we left there and bought our furniture at Ashley Furniture.

Had a good experience with the salesman. We had to have some repairs done a few months ago. Recently scheduled repairs (chair seams are busting) and they were suppose to come out today. Sat home all day, missed work, and supposedly missed a call from the driver. (At 6:10 pm)There was a missed call and voicemail from furniture fair but not from a driver. We called back and Beverly blamed US for not answering our phone as to be the reason why repairs werent getting done today. Also, last time we had repairs done, no one called to give us a heads up... luckily we were home.

My Mother came in yesterday in the hopes of getting a new couch for our new home. She left frustrated and upset. She found the perfect couch and asked to finance it. As she sat waiting the sales person and the financial person began to argue about how this sale should happen. This continued for 30 minutes. She left upset.As a business owner myself, I am appalled at your staffs behavior. Customer service is everything in todays sales and service industry. I hope this issue is handled immediately. Their lack of self control and customer service has lost a sale and now a bad review.
Sales lady Ashley was great. Couch came in when the said it would. The problem is one sections had the wrong mounting hardware. We noted it on the paperwork. We got a email back in November asking for pictures so they can get us the correct parts. It is now February and I have called the service dept 3 times and cant get a call back. I hate it for the sales staff because I wont be back because of the service dept.

TERRIBLE!!! Let me start by saying the sales lady that assisted me was wonderful. This was my second time buying furniture from here. The first time was a few years ago when we bought our house and furnished every room with new furniture from this place. It was under different ownership back then but same management. There was an old lady helping us who was pretty biased and had some strong opinions about people from other backgrounds but thats another issue on its own. This time as I said, the saleslady was very helpful and kind but there is a serious lack of communication in this store between the sales people, warehouse, delivery people and office people. I was told I could get my items the next business day. I arranged for a truck to pick them up. I was shocked when I only got 1 of the 2 items. In 100 plus degree weather I was waiting around the loading dock for the issue to be figured out only to be told that the other piece still was not there. They offered to bring it to me whenever they get it. In the meantime when they called to tell me I could pick it up, no mention of the missing piece. Now it has been a few days and still no item. They cant even give me an estimate. I gave this place another chance after the first issue a few years back with the old lady but this time I am over it. There are too many furniture places around here to choose from. I do NOT need to shop HERE and I WONT. The manager Tim is great and the saleslady was great. But this operation is a JOKE

Great customer service - both gentlemen that helped me at the store put no pressure on the sale. I even got a small extra discount on top of the Labor Day sale they were having with the Tic-Tac-Toe game. Every little bit helps! The delivery guys were great too, fast and efficient. They noticed a knick in the dresser (which could have easily been ignored and blamed on me) and told me it would be exchanged for a new one. I love my new bedroom set and would recommend Furniture Fair to anyone looking for good, quality furniture.

Delivery took too long. I spent all day waiting for my delivery of furniture. I called the store and all they could tell me is they out making deliveries and I need to be available when they call. I waited all day. What a waste of my time. Very dissatisfied with delivery service.
One of the most horrific experience in my life! The day they deliver my furniture, the had the wrong color sectional and they forgot half the legs for the sectional!! On top of that they didnt have my bed or night stands. After dealing with all that, two days later they returned with the right color sectional but it had a hole in it. And if things cant get any worse because they forget half the legs for the other sectional, it had scratched my hardwood floors!! I guess you live and learn but I will never buy anything there again!!!

I was amazed how rude Tonka or tonja was and I wasnt even a customer I had come to pick up for my 80 year old father a 1400.00 hundred doller matteress and told him he would get a matteress cover and when I come to pick it up they said it would be a hundred dollers the only nice person was Sandra who refunded or money and worked the office in the back
This place is awful. Bought a recliner there. Three weeks later the thing broke. They came and got it. Its been three weeks no call about it. Wwnt be there today and they side they had to order a part from china. The chair had a made in the USA tag on it. They customer service poeple dont know anything.

Our experience started off Great and slowly went downhill unfortunately. Carol was ok and helped us pick out the perfect sectional after hours of looking.When we went to finalize the sale, they said they didn’t have it in stock anywhere. The manager Seth said they would see if they could sell us the floor model and waive the delivery fee and if not would let us know they NEXT day or see if they could possibly order it ...made us go ahead and pay ($1700) ...which we did...next day I never received a phone call like promised...so I called around 6:30pm and Seth told me he had to ask the owner before selling the floor model and he would call me back in a day or 2...I let him know I needed the furniture ASAP and would be canceling if I didn’t hear back. 2 more days go by and still no call...I called AGAIN around 6pm...Seth was “busy”...he called me back at almost 8pm at night (he left me a message)saying he still hadn’t spoken to the owner and we could cancel if we wanted....so I called this morning ...they said he was there but busy...again gave my call back number ...later on my husband gets a call (different #, never called me) saying Seth was NOT there and they didn’t know if or when they would be getting more in (ugh). So going on 5 days holding $1700 and we still have no idea if we have a couch or not...so my husband goes in there and guess who is there ...SETH...(so we were lied to) ...he called the owner while my husband was in the store who said they couldn’t sell us the floor model because they MIGHT be ordering more (but not now )...WTH!??? You have a customer that has paid for a couch that we can’t get, and even worse that you are advertising as a available! Oh I must add we were torn between this sectional and another and when I told Seth we could always just get the other one (which was cheaper) he said ...oh that one is the same situation (without even looking!) . These people wasted my time. I will never go back or refer anyone to them!!!!!

I went to buy a piece of furniture I wanted a month ago for $1100 and but went in to buy it and it was on sale for 70% off, but guess what it was marks up to $2100 and was told I could have it for $1300.i will never go in this place again.
