I absolutely adore this store! I wanted to buy everything in it -- hand-beaded belts, elegant brass necklaces, delicate sandals... even funky wooden bowls! You dont see stores like this often in this area and it is breath of fresh air! The saleswoman was very friendly, knowledgeable about the brand, and very casual. Fair trade, reasonably priced, unique items... what could be better?

Swahili Coast brings a global market (and mission!) to our local, historic downtown. Im a huge fan of their beach towels-- pro tip, I use it as a half-blanket/half-shawl in my cold office building. And the jewelry is incredible! Simple pieces that still make a statement. Plus, the owners (Caroline & Tony) are just fantastic people with so much heart for what they do. 10/10, A++.

This company is so amazing! They are providing jobs and fair wages for artisans in Africa, and their goods are very high quality. Locally owned by a young couple who are truly making a difference in their community here, and over seas. Spending your money here supports a cause to be proud of.
