My wife and I walked in to lease a new RDX and could only close the deal with an additional $2177 in cash as down payment. If my wife had not leaned on me to close this deal, I would have looked elsewhere. On the bright side, my wife really likes the car and our salesman George M. did a great job in selling and being very patient with my wife in reviewing all the new tech features before driving off the lot. At no time did I ever feel pressured or bothered and this is probably the best car buying experience Ive ever had. So we have had our new RDX two weeks and couldnt be happier! The car is great, but Flow Acura is even better. They really know how to take care of their customers! We were torn between the RDX and a competitor. Gillian, our salesperson, does an amazing job, is friendly and knowledgeable. We had a bad experience at a competitors showroom and decided to go with the RDX. The best decision we ever made. Gillian is the best. We walked in and said we wanted the car as soon as possible. The manager and Gillian worked really hard to make that happen for us, despite having lots of other scheduled appointments. The car would take a day to prep and they offered to drive the car to our home the next business day and complete all the paperwork at the house (an hour away)! Who does that?!? They researched and took pictures & videos of items not displayed on there web site.If you havent guessed it by know. I was an on line shopper. And at 1000 miles away, they became my eyes and ears as to questions a normal buyer would request. All was completed by phone, chat, E-mail. Totaled my car recently when someone hit me and I really liked the car. Searched all over and found same model and color with just a few more miles at Flow Acura of Wilmington. Only problem was, I live four hours away in Winston-Salem. Found the entire Flow team to be very knowledgeable and really focused on quality and attention to detail. Sent me more pictures, made sure it was serviced and had new tires. Was like new even with 132K miles. They agreed to meet me halfway in Raleigh for me to test drive it. Thom Yost has been my point of contact this whole time and he has always worked with a sense of urgency, professionalism and above all care for the customer. He always lays out the options you have, explains in layman terms exactly what is going on and tries to save you money when he can, you definitely feel he is on your side as a customer. I can not say enough good things about this dealership! Service was definitely 5 start. I worked with Lucas the sales manager on a used car that they delivered to me 4 hours away. Wow...the treatment I received was like I was buying a 100,000 brand new car. There a few minor details that need to be taken care of after the sale and they were on top of it....didnt say its too late to help, etc. You should definitely visit them or one of their sister dealerships they own! I brought my Acura MDX in because the paint and clear coat are wearing off on the hood and roof. It’s very clearly a poor paint job. It’s literally faded in stripes on the left and right sides of both the hood and roof. The lady at the counter entered the VIN into her system looking for any recall, and said that there was none of my car. When I said that it’s definitely not normal, and that I wouldn’t expect an Acura to look like that, she recommended I call around town for a paint job.Since then, I’ve had multiple people say that their Honda and/or Acura had the same problem. Just this weekend, a gentleman approached me, while out fishing, to say that his Honda had the exact same problem and recommended I call the Acura dealership, since Honda had recognized the problem and repaired his car.Seriously, a luxury vehicle shouldn’t look like this.

I worked with a few sales folks here working to learn about a car they had for sale. I was asking about a potential delivery which the sales folks were pleasant enough to explain. However, when I asked a follow up question about the process to return should the vehicle not be delivered as advertised, I was passed to Lucas Wright the General Manager who said“Let me be frank with you. I am really not looking forward to selling anyone a car who is already trying to define how it can be returned. I dont think delivery is an option anymore. If you want to buy this car you should drive here and check it out...”It’s amazing to me that in 2020 a general manager is put out by answering a few basic questions about their online process and delivery. Especially in the middle of COVID - why would I drive when literally everything can be done online?? Not to mention the giant red flag that he’s not willing to answer the question. This screams shady used car salesman...typical.Lucas is clearly not capable or willing to compete with dealers that have a strong online presence. This is the reason brick and mortars are being cannibalized by online stores. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, I would strongly recommend avoiding Lucas Wright and his shop. Instead shop Carvana, CarMax or even Hendricks who are all clear, transparent and forthcoming about their processes.

I had searched around several weeks, testing driving different luxury vehicles (Lincoln - different models, BMW). Then I came to Flow Acura of Wilmington to do my test drive. I was greeted by Rob Maiers within 5 mins of walking around. Rob was GREAT, knowledgeable, not pushy at all, allowed me to look at different models, told him what I wanted and he directed me to my new Acura MDX. He was spot on with what I wanted. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole buying process was great. I would recommend Flow and Rob to anyone. :)
I recently began my car buying journey (something I havent done in over 10 years)I originally went to another dealership -that shall remained unnamed- to see what my buying options might be. It was your typical car sales experience. They were trying to strongarm me into buying a vehicle I did not have the budget nor the desire for. (this is why I dont like salesmen).I was finally able to run out the door and break their hold on me!I went home and found the car I wanted online at Flow.The next day, I went to Flow just to see if the car was there and still for sale.As I approached the car, a salesman I would later come to know as George Morton, began walking toward me. I immediately put my hand up and said no, I am afraid of you.George smiled a soft smile and continued toward me asking me if I wanted a closer look at any of the cars.He was very friendly and put absolutely NO pressure on me as he showed me the interior of 2 different vehicles that I was interested in. He even stepped off to the side while I so rudely answered an incoming phone call, waited patiently, and then came back to continue helping me when I was done.We went inside and George sat down with me to show me what the numbers looked like. There was still NO PRESSURE at all!I had made my decision and found my car!When my financing hit a snag, I called George to see if he could help.The dealership had me approved in 30min and ready to go!Popeye was great going over the paperwork with me and the finance guys too!I have had my new MDX for 7 days now (after having my old MDX for 6 years) and I am LOVING it.The car is beautiful inside and out, runs great, and was a great value.The process was so easy and stress free!I am still not convinced George is really a salesman -- he feels more like a friend. Thanks for everything George!
Rob mairs was amazing. Great customer care even though he had multiple customers at once, he still made me feel I was his only one!

Just called 6 times in last 15 min. It’s is a Wednesday at 3pm. Asked for service department each time and went directly to voicemail or rang several times then voicemail.On last call I informed the receptionist that this was my 6th time calling and I need to talk to someone in service department to get my car 100,000 mile service and new tires priced and appointment setup.Not going to have my car serviced where the service department won’t even answer the phones.
Best car buying experience Ive ever had. There was zero pressure at any point. The staff were friendly and personable. Popeye was amazing to deal with. as was Chick. I would not hesitate to recommend Flow to anyone looking to buy a car.
