Great business and people who care! I live in Florida and was in desperate need of a specific Yamaha engine part that was on backorder from the manufacturer. I randomly google searched for Yamaha service centers in New Jersey and came across Cecil Marine. I called and spoke with Joe (who wasnt working the day I called, but he still answered). Joe went out of his way to search his database and send me a list of shops around the country that had this specific part in stock.

Great customer service from this company! Had a part for my Chaparral boat shipped few weeks ago that was defective and a piece broke when used ….called yesterday and explained situation…Joe said will send replacement right out and the part was here the next day. Good to see a company stand behind their service and parts. Highly recommend.

I arrived at Cecil Marines website while looking for a part for the Volvo 8.1l in my Cobalt. My local repair shop tried Volvo Parts US, where the part was back-ordered with no ship date in sight. I asked for the part number to aid in the search. No Cobalt dealer in the US had one in stock. No other parts suppliers I tried stocked the part. I found Cecil Marine via Google search. I called and talked with Joe, who confirmed no US availability but said hed try to find me one. Ten minutes later he called back to confirm hed found one in Belgium and could get it shipped priority, but since it was Friday and Belgium is 6 hours ahead I needed to decide quickly. Part arrived today (Tuesday) and I delivered it to the shop. Huge thank you to Joe / Cecil Marine for tracking down the part and getting it drop-shipped to me ASAP!

Were at the Lake of the Ozarks in mid-MO, and I had exhausted all my efforts to find a part for my Chaparral 236SSi. I called Cecil Marine on a late Saturday afternoon...didnt even leave a message, but Joe called me back saying that he was with a customer. I explained my situation, letting him know that my son had dropped a part in the lake and that we were not getting back out on the water until it was replaced. Joe had a couple of parts in stock, assisted me on the website, and said hed ship it out on Tuesday when they were back in the office. We received the part on Friday, in time for the next weekend at the lake, and saved my son a whole lot of heartache! Thank you Joe and Cecil Marine!

What matters are the days in between You need to rely on the vendor during this time - You can not rely on Joe or Cecil Marine. 0 integrity from this owner of the company. I purchased a small part from them less than 100$ it arrived damaged. Joe took the product back and has refused to replace or refund, he has the product I purchased - and had neither refunded or replaced. Theft. I purchased a Chaparral Jet boat from Cecil last year. The purchase, delivery and after sale service has been perfect. They delivered my boat to Cape May, took me out for a shake down and instruction cruise and have gone out of their way to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I have read some other reviews that were not so flattering. In any business this is bound to happen. All I can say is I am completely satisfied with my purchase and the followup care I have received.

Amazing service and selection. I lost a waste cap on my 2017 Chaparral, and my local dealer said they would contact Chaparral and get back to me. 2.5 days later, with a blue rag stuffed in my waste port, I grew impatient and searched online. Boat parts are a racket-very hard to locate OEM stuff. But a 7-year-old post on the Chaparral forum directed me to Cecils Marine and said to ask for Joe, and that was who answered when I called the parts dept. They have a great selection of Chaparral parts online, and Joe was able to verify that the waste cap I was looking at would fit my boat, and would ship that day; as I think back on a decade of lost and broken boat parts (especially water and fuel caps,) and how hard they were to replace, it is too bad that I didnt find these guys earlier.

Cecil Marine is a first class business Joe is honest and always does what he says. You can count on the service being done right the first time at a fair price, I would not service my boat anywhere else

Various thoughts. I bought a used boat there. They have a good operation and seem very professional.My boat needed a close to 3k in work with in 90 days. They said this is due to low water in back of ocean city. Needed a fuel pump too. I am no expert did not fully agree.I was not happy at all about the situation needless to say.Buyer be ware and survey.I feel they do good work on repairs and their delivery man is a good guy. They are not cheap. So dont look for a deal on service. I think they do a thorough job though.Their man explained many things in detail.This is good.Bottom line is again always survey used.I would say buy used as boat depreciation is worse then a car on a boat.BtwThe showroom is nice with lots of their products.They pick up your boat and drop it off fall and sping. $199 storage.

I Bought 2 boats worth over 150 thousand dollars at cecil and was a good customer for over ten years. When warranty was over they started to nickel and dime me to death and I mean death.They wont work on trailer they sold me, apparently because they dont make moneyPaul, was very nasty when they werent making money. the engine on my boat had low oil pressure and they did not know why, they wanted 350 dollars to take for a test drive because they are not on the water. Had problem fixed at another dealer for under 100 dollars without a test drive. Do not let Scott work on your boat he is not a very good mechanic. Dont be fooled- the customer is always right means nothing at cecil marine

Basically, if you want to be cheated, overcharged, and deal with horrible people in the process, you want to check them out for sure.

I have dealt with Cecil Marine in the past and had a pleasant experience. Today was a different story.I called to ask about a factory bimini for my boat and was told they wont order or mess with OE biminis for Chaparral boats. I asked why and he told me the freight costs were too high. I told him I would likely be willing to pay the higher freight costs because I really want the bimini that goes with the boat. He told me it wasnt worth the bother.I asked if he had any suggestions and he told me in a very condescending manner, dont buy a boat without a bimini.

I went there with a motor not knowing what to do to get it running, and they gave me alot of info on it and were extremely helpful.
