Computer Concepts is a wonderful place to go if you’re having trouble with your Apple AirPods, cracked phone screen, any issues with your smart phone, Desktop computer, monitor, laptop, they can fix just about anything. Repairs are done in a timely manner. Staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I brought in my six year old iPad Pro (of course the warranty had expired) the battery was completely dead. Ryan, one of the owners explained it would cost $99 and Apple would send out a brand new device. I figured that was fair enough and within two days I had a brand new iPad Pro. Computer Concepts staff is kind, considerate, fair, and efficient and most importantly up front and honest! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

My wife needed a new battery in her IPhone 11. CC sent the phone to Apple.They kept it for a week and sent it back without repairing it. Then CC sent it back to Apple and gave Nancy a loner phone. In 4 more weeks time they did fix it and send it back working great with a new battery. Warranty covered the repair and the loner phone completely. We were very pleased, especially with the considerate and professional treatment we got from the manager at Computer Concepts.

I brought the computer in with what I thought was a simple problem. They looked at it, made some adjustments and didnt charge me for their work. the problem is, that since they worked on it my computer is unbelievably slow. I have had good results there in the past, but this experience has soured me on them.

Before I came to CC, Ive exhausted many routes trying to resolve my complicated MacBook Air issues. I was on the phone with Apple Support for hours, I went to Apple store to genius bar, I talked to Geek Squad at the Best Buy, I used the help of my IT friend... And nothing. Im very happy to have a store like this in quaint little Williamsburg where I can get repairs, expert advice and purchase the latest and greatest personal computing products. The guy working the counter barely acknowledged me when I came in which feels cold when youre only the 2nd customer in the entire store. When he finally did help me he seemed unhappy but despite that he was able to help me with what I needed so maybe he was just having a bad day. Meanwhile another staff member came out to check on me and he was super friendly and helpful. Overall I would go back but I wish they were more consistently friendly and welcoming. It makes such a difference.

Came to Computer Concepts to replace the broken back of an iPhone. I had a great check-out experience and when the new phone came in, they offered assistance with setting it up which was great. Then we ran into an issue with the SIM card not reading after the SIM card in the new phone was taken out and replaced with the old SIM card in the broken phone according to CC policy. An employee then informed me to go to my cell phone company b/c its a carrier issue.I went to the store and we still had issues so I called Computer Concepts to help with finding a solution. After being transferred and hearing the issue, an employee stated He doesnt know what hes talking about! and kept on berated the Sprint employee I was on speakerphone with. The insults continued when both got on the phone. The professionalism of the CC employee went out the window. Now I had great service while at Computer Concepts, however this berating and hostile attitude towards a different person who is still trying to help a customer is NOT okay!It is a stressful time for everyone but we can still be kind towards our comrades.

I recently ran into a vague system issue that was driving me nuts. Brant at Computer Concepts finally sorted it out, corrected it, and upgraded my computer in the process. My iMac is now running better than it has in a long time.I fortunately have not had to use Computer Concepts very often, but every time I have used them, they have done an outstanding job.

My SE iPhone battery was rapidly discharging so I checked the Richmond Apple Website to schedule an appointment. On that website, it mentioned that Computer Concepts was an authorized Apple Sales and Service company and I could schedule an appt w/ them. So I called and Ryan, the manager answered and said yes, they could replace the battery & they had it in stock. So I dropped by today, one person was ahead of me, John did a diagnostic which showed a battery issue; even saw the previous diagnostic from the Richmond Apple store that was done six months earlier that indicated no issues w/ the battery(even then I was having problems) - in about 45 minutes, the battery swap was done. During that time, several customers came in for questions & service, all promptly responded to with the support of another technician. Price charged for replacing the SE iPhone battery was the same. Wow, this will be my go to place for any Apple service. It was quick, easy, and saved me a drive back & forth to the Richmond Apple store where(even though you may have an appt.) you can still wait a while before someone can look at your issue. Folks were wearing masks & social distancing in the store.

Brent visited me to solve a problem with my PC. He soon diagnosed and solved the problem. He encouraged questions and was very courteous and friendly throughout.

Very slow. Had wait like 45 min just to see somebody. Then they charged me $50 for a Diagnostics test to tell me what i already told them from start. And then couldn’t even give me a price for what the issue was. SMH waste of time and money.

They did a speedy job getting my computer screen fixed. Kept in touch and my computer is as good as new!

I saddled these guys with a bit of a complex ask - a repair to an unsupported vintage MacBook for which I ordered a replacement part online and had shipped to them directly. They made the whole sequence of transactions easy and possible - they are kind and efficient, and they saved me a great deal of money! I highly, highly recommend them.

I’ve had two different laptops repaired here and both have been great, they even helped with some questions and showed me what to do on the laptop itself, great customer service and quick turnaround.

Ryan was wonderful with my iMac. It turned out that the problem was minor and not in the computer itself, but it took a lot of sleuthing to figure it out. He asked the right questions, which led to the solution, which Apple Care online had not done. I am very pleased to have found a repair facility that I can trust, relatively close to the rural area I live in!

They did a great job getting the laptop that best suited my needs and also transferring my data. I was very pleased with the products and their helpfullness.

Ive visited the store a few times. One of which I bought a re-certified iMac and Macbook Pro. A couple of times with questions. In every experience it has been a joy. I needed help assessing why my computer was not connecting to my in-home WiFi system. It turned out that my WiFi antenna was no longer working properly. Computer concepts installed an internal board matched to an external antenna, and the system works fine now. My computer was out of the house for about 24 hours. The fee was reasonable. Prompt service.

Phone memory seemed full. Wouldn’t function. Ryan handled it right away, diagnosing,, saving contents and resetting. We went to lunch and came back and it was done. Excellent service, very fair price.

Wonderful customer service. Went in during COVID with a broken screen on my MacBook Pro: Got it replaced in under two hours and the price was extremely reasonable. The technician realized my logic board had been damaged during a recall repair two years ago. Instructed me to call Apple and request a new logic board.Of course, Apple, denied all fault. The store manager sat on the phone with me and the customer service operator for almost thirty minutes explaining that I couldn’t have caused the damage and the Apple repairman at the MacArthur mall store must have done it. They finally agreed to cover the broken part. That wouldn’t have happened without Mr. Craig’s helps. They have a customer for life in me! Thank you Computer Concepts Williamsburg!

We moved to the area several years ago and have used computer concepts for all of our computer/technology needs. They are knowledgeable and considerate. Quick response rate and willingness to answer basic questions with kindness. Even though my husband and I are computer illiterate, they never make us feel incompetent and we appreciate their attitude towards us. We had been struggling with moving some files and he was able to simplify the process for us and make it possible for us to get the job done.

My only objection to my experience was that it took 3 days to accomplish what they promised to accomplish in 1. I understand they are short- staffed because of the virus but they should factor that in when making promises.

Wow. I just got off the phone with Ryan Daily at this establishment. For a Supervisor, hes very unprofessional.I took my laptop in yesterday because it took almost two minutes to boot up. They told me theyd run diagnostics on it and let me know.No problem there, I know how tech services work.I got a voice mail yesterday afternoon to let me know that the diagnostics were complete. I THINK the man who called was Brandon, but his name was unintelligible.I couldnt pick it up last night, so I called them this morning.Some of my accounts on that computer have two-factor authentication. Before I could call, I received a text message from one of these accounts.When I called and asked about it, I was informed that one of their techs had tried to access that account.I spoke with Ryan (the supervisor) and told him that if I found out any of his techs accessed any other accounts, Id be seeking legal action.Instead of remaining calm and assuring me that no other accounts had been accessed, Ryan Daily (the supervisor) flew into a rage, not letting me get a word in.I just hung up.Ill get my laptop tomorrow morning and wash my hands of the place.All it takes is one bad experience...

Great store!!! If you didnt know, they have a biometric finger print reader for background checks etc.... Also an authorized apple retailer. Its the same as going to the Apple store with all the long wait.

Computer Concepts is without a doubt excellent! I recently brought them my 2010 MacBook Pro, which was suffering from intermittent black screen issues. For a very fair price they performed an extensive bench test on my computer, having ran the computer under highly stressful situations for several days as to try to pinpoint the precise problem. Being determined to figure out exactly what the problem was, Ryan of Computer Concepts dug deep and was able to say definitively that it was the logic board. At no point, however, did I feel pressured to replace the logic board. Ryan, in an exceptionally professional and genuinely caring manner, explained to me that I had options for replacing the logic board if I was interested in doing so, which included working directly with Apple. Though Apple was not able to cover the repair under an Apple warranty in light of my particular Mac being 5 years old, Ryan worked with Apple at great length to assure that I would remain a happy customer, and indeed I am -- extremely happy, in fact. Without a doubt, the service Ryan provided me exceeded my expectations by a very large degree. Ladies and gentlemen, this is where you should bring your computer for all your computing needs. They cover all the bases and you will be amazed at the level of personalized service you will receive. I can basically promise you that you too will find yourself writing a positive, five-star review after you experience Computer Concepts!

I would not recommend going to this business unless you like spending hundreds of dollars to wait weeks for your repair while being condescended to.My computer was having problems charging (and, trying out a brand-new charger, I realized it wasn’t a faulty charger), so I went to this place based on good Google reviews. Days passed, and I decided to give them a call two days after their estimated date for the completed repair. The man I spoke to sounded quite annoyed with my phone call, repeating that they “would call you when the repair is done.” Absolutely no apology for the delay, and of course they couldn’t provide me with any tracking information on the replacement part.Jump six days after the computer was supposed to have been fixed (eleven days after I took the computer in), and they informed me that they ordered the wrong part for my computer model, that they already ordered the correct part and that the labor for this specific part would cost EXTRA. Absolutely no apologies for their gaffe, just a demand for more money. Since the part was already in the mail I reluctantly let them finish the repairs with the correct part.This time they made good on their estimated timeframe for the repair. However, I received a call informing me that their repairs apparently did not fix the problem (the funny thing is that they did fix it, the charger I brought in was just faulty). No apology whatsoever. Not even an iota of remorse. Nothing. At this point I just took my computer from this business with no intention of ever bringing their again.A simple verbal apology or two for their multiple delays would have made this experience much better. But, as it is, I was left with nothing.

I am no computer geek, so these guys are essential to my ability to function in todays world. Whether its selling you a new system, repairing your old, helping you with your cell phone or dialing into your system and finding out whats driving you nuts. These guys do it all. I got there almost an hour after they opened, but they were closed. Good thing the guy came by right when I was going back to my car saying hes about to open. I go in & he didnt say a word. I had to pay $50 up front just to check the problem. I waited 3 days after I dropped it off & finally got a call back saying it was ready to be picked up. The guy said they would call me to state the problem & tell me the solution. I go in there right after I got the call & the same guy was there & once again said nothing to me & mumbled about something being loose & taking apart my laptop. I was charged $70 just for that. At least it works (for now). Im never going back again. The only good thing is that I got my laptop back in 3 days.

Dropped off my Macbook Pro for diagnostic for hard drive issues. Processed it in right away, the young lady at the front desk explained what would probably be done and how long it would be. They called the next day with an answer and solution to my issue. Great service and I always trust their opinion and suggestions. Ive have purchased several refurbished computers from them and have always been satisfied with their work and know they will do what is right no matter what is needed to be done.

I went to this establishment to get the battery replaced on my iPhone 6 because it was seriously degraded and could not hold a charge. It only cost me $31, and it took only around 30 minutes since they weren’t busy. Before having my phone serviced, I backed up the data on my phone thinking I was going to lose it all when it got serviced. However, I was surprised when I received my phone back with all of my information and data still on it. Very quick and very efficient. I definitely recommend Computer Concepts if you need service on your iPhone. They are certified by Apple to service Apple products, so is the place to go to get service for your iPhone, iPad, MAC, etc. I don’t know how good they are at servicing non-Apple products, but I would assume that they can work on them with no issues.

Really fast turnaround, within 24 hours my computer was turned back to me and was working perfect. Only thing was to get it diagnosed or looked at cost $49, and $98 if you wanted to have it looked at right away. I needed my computer desperately for law school so I was willing to pay it that once since the nearest apple store is not that close. I think that price is a little redic, since their service is fast and good I would go back their otherwise.
