A commercial fire and home security company that does more than you would think. Anything from home security or AV to networking. Everything is local including the monitoring center. Actual people answer the phones and call you to let you know whats going on with your system. Nice alternative to ADT or other giant alarm company which is not personable or flexible.

What is important to me is that they arrive on time or call if they cannot, use quality materials, do their work efficiently, which includes what they are installing and in the paperwork in the office,that they give you a value price and stick to it, and provide service if needed after the installation. Although we have had Kamco for 16 years, we are switching to a different server. Kamco switched from paper billing to electronic billing and subsequently sent our invoices to an e-mail account that had been hacked and was essentially a black hole. We did not realize that we had not received a bill until they sent a very nasty threatening letter regarding non-payment, collection services and more. We had never previously, in 16 years, had any payment problem. When we contacted their bookkeeper to ask why they had not called us or at least sent a reminder letter to our postal address as their first missive, we were treated abusively. So we are now switching to another company, even though it will cost a bit more.

I decided to go with KAMCO for home security based off of the great service they provide my company (hotels, multiple locations). We always had a great experience with them in the commercial field, so I was hoping to experience the same for residential.Dustin came to my house for an assessment the same day I inquired, and had his crew installing the system 3 days later! Talk about service! Matt and Lee were more than helpful with my questions and mindful of locations where I wanted each device installed. Very personalized service! Tyco Security (ADT) quoted us a pricey package for several security cameras to be installed on our farm. The next day, Dustin arrived to view the property and turned around a significantly more affordable package with better specs. We ran into several post-installation difficulties (lighting and placement issues); Kamco promptly dispatched technicians 3-4 separate times to make things right- at no cost to us. Overall, a great local company with superior service.

KAMCO is the only Alarm Company to use if you live in HAMPTON ROADS, VA.They are always available, very polite and if you have an issue, they want to hear about it and work with you to get it fixed as soon as possible. Most alarm companies today have long hold times to speak to someone and 5 different companies that handle 1 account. I like dealing with a local company and I would recommend KAMCO to anyone. Even if you already have another alarm company, call KAMCO for an inspection and they can often take over an existing system to save you money on the monthly plus offer you better service.

Great Company. We needed an alarm system beacuse our house backed up to a shopping center and kids kept getting in there while we werent home. We didnt want to go with a national company that makes you sign long contracts so we did some research and found Kamco... Dustin worked with us to get the equipment we wanted and the monitoring we wanted. The system was installed that week and we got a bull horn to make sure the kids were scared away and so far we have been extremley happy. We also got one at another rehab down the street and it has paid for itself already...We will be using Kamco at one our rental properties too that we are buying soon.Great Service, Great People, Great Company
